Surah Nahl with Urdu & English Translation and Audio - سورۃ النحل

أَتَىٰۤ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوهُۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا یُشۡرِكُونَ

الله کا حکم آ پہنچا تم اس میں جلدی مت کرو وہ لوگو ں کے شرک سے پاک اور برتر ہے

The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

Ataaa amrullaahi falaa tasta'jilooh; Subhaanahoo wa Ta'aalaa 'ammaa yushrikoon

یُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن یَشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۤ أَنۡ أَنذِرُوۤا۟ أَنَّهُۥ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّاۤ أَنَا۠ فَٱتَّقُونِ

وہ اپنے بندوں سے جس کے پاس چاہتا ہے فرشتوں کو وحی دے کر بھیج دیتا ہے یہ کہ خبردار کر دو کہ میرے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں پس مجھ سے ڈرتے رہو

He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me."

Yunazzilul malaaa 'ikata birroohi min amrihee 'alaa mai yashaaa'u min 'ibaadiheee an anzirooo annahoo laaa ilaaha illaaa ana fattaqoon

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ تَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا یُشۡرِكُونَ

اسی نے آسمان اور زمین کو ٹھیک طور پر بنایا ہے وہ ان کے شرک سے پاک ہے

He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him.

Khalaqas samaawaati wal arda bilhaqq; Ta'aalaa 'ammaa yushrikoon

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةࣲ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِیمࣱ مُّبِینࣱ

اسی نے آدمی کو ایک بوند سے پیدا کیا پھر وہ یکایک کھلم کھلا جھگڑنے لگا

He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary.

Khalaqal insaana min nutfatin fa izaa huwa khaseemum mubeen

وَٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمَ خَلَقَهَاۖ لَكُمۡ فِیهَا دِفۡءࣱ وَمَنَـٰفِعُ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

اور تمہارے واسطے چار پایوں کو بھی اسی نے بنایا ان میں تمہارے لیے جاڑے کابھی سامان ہے اوربھی بہت سے فائدے ہیں اور ان میں سے کھاتے بھی ہو

And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat.

Wal an 'amaa khalaqahaa; lakum feehaa dif'unw wa manaafi'u wa minhaa taakuloon

وَلَكُمۡ فِیهَا جَمَالٌ حِینَ تُرِیحُونَ وَحِینَ تَسۡرَحُونَ

اور تمہاے لیے ان میں زینت بھی ہے جب شام کو چرا کر لاتے ہو اور جب چرانے لے جاتے ہو

And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture].

Wa lakum feehaa jamaalun heena tureehoona wa heena tasrahoon

وَتَحۡمِلُ أَثۡقَالَكُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَلَدࣲ لَّمۡ تَكُونُوا۟ بَـٰلِغِیهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ ٱلۡأَنفُسِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمۡ لَرَءُوفࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ

اور وہ تمہارے بوجھ اٹھا کر ان شہروں تک لے جاتے ہیں کہ جہاں تک تم جان کو تکلیف میں ڈالنے کے سوا نہیں پہنچ سکتے تھے بے شک تمہارا رب شفقت کرنے والا مہربان ہے

And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.

Wa tahmilu asqaalakum ilaa baladil lam takoonoo baaligheehi illaa bishiqqil anfus; inna Rabbakum la Ra'oofur Raheem

وَٱلۡخَیۡلَ وَٱلۡبِغَالَ وَٱلۡحَمِیرَ لِتَرۡكَبُوهَا وَزِینَةࣰۚ وَیَخۡلُقُ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

اور گھوڑے خچر اور گدھے پیدا کیے کہ ان پر سوار ہو اور زینت کے لیے اور وہ چیزیں پیدا کرتا ہے جو تم نہیں جانتے

And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know.

Walkhaila wal bighaala wal hameera litarkaboohaa wa zeenah; wa yakhluqu maa laa ta'lamoon

وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ قَصۡدُ ٱلسَّبِیلِ وَمِنۡهَا جَاۤىِٕرࣱۚ وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِینَ

اور الله تک سیدھی راہ پہنچتی ہے اور بعض ان میں ٹیڑھی بھی ہیں اور اگر الله چاہتا تو تم سب کو سیدھی راہ بھی دکھا دیتا

And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all.

Wa 'alal laahi qasdus sabeeli wa minhaa jaaa'ir; wa law shaaa'a lahadaakum ajma'een

هُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰۖ لَّكُم مِّنۡهُ شَرَابࣱ وَمِنۡهُ شَجَرࣱ فِیهِ تُسِیمُونَ

وہی ہے جس نے آسمان سے تمہارے لیے پانی نازل کیا اسی میں سے پیتے ہو اور اسی سے درخت ہوتے ہیں جن میں چراتے ہو

It is He who sends down rain from the sky; from it is drink and from it is foliage in which you pasture [animals].

Huwal lazeee anzala minas samaaa'i maaa'al lakum minhu sharaabunw wa minhu shajarun feehi tuseemoon

یُنۢبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ ٱلزَّرۡعَ وَٱلزَّیۡتُونَ وَٱلنَّخِیلَ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَـٰبَ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَ ٰ⁠تِۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَةࣰ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ

تمہارے واسطے اسی سے کھیتی اور زیتوں اورکھجوریں اورانگور اور ہر قسم کے میوے اگاتا ہے بے شک اس میں ان لوگو ں کے لیے نشانی ہے جو غور کرتے ہیں

He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

Yumbitu lakum bihiz zar'a wazzaitoona wanna kheela wal-a'naaba wa min kullis samaraat, inna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqawminy yatafakkaroon

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّیۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ وَٱلنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَ ٰ⁠تُۢ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ

اور رات اور دن اور سورج اور چاند کو تمہارے کام میں لگا دیا ہے اور اسی کے حکم سے ستارے بھی کام میں لگے ہوئے ہیں بے شک اس میں لوگوں کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں جو سمجھ رکھتے ہیں

And He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

Wa sakkhkhara lakumul laila wannahaara wash shamsa walqamara wannujoomu musakhkharaatum bi amrih; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy ya'qiloon

وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُخۡتَلِفًا أَلۡوَ ٰ⁠نُهُۥۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَةࣰ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَذَّكَّرُونَ

اور تمہارے واسطے جو چیزیں زمین میں رنگ برنگ کی پھیلائی ہیں ان میں لوگوں کے لیے نشانی ہے ہے جو سوچتے ہیں

And [He has subjected] whatever He multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who remember.

Wa maa zara a lakum fil ardi mukhtalifan alwaanuh; inna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqawminy yazakkaroon

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی سَخَّرَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَأۡكُلُوا۟ مِنۡهُ لَحۡمࣰا طَرِیࣰّا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُوا۟ مِنۡهُ حِلۡیَةࣰ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِیهِ وَلِتَبۡتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

اور وہ وہی ہے جس نے دریا کو کام میں لگا دیا کہ اس میں تازہ گوشت کھاؤ اور اسی سے زیور نکالو جسے تم پہنتے ہو اور تو اس میں جہازوں کو دیکھتا ہے کہ پانی کو چیرتے ہوئے چلے جاتے ہیں اور تاکہ تم اس کے فضل کو تلاش کرو اور تاکہ تم شکر کرو

And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and [He subjected it] that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.

Wa Huwal lazee sakhkharal bahra litaakuloo minhu lahman tariyyanw wa tastakhrijoo minhu hilyatan talbasoonahaa wa taral fulka mawaakhira feehi wa litabtaghoo min fadlihee wa la'allakum tashkuroon

وَأَلۡقَىٰ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَوَ ٰ⁠سِیَ أَن تَمِیدَ بِكُمۡ وَأَنۡهَـٰرࣰا وَسُبُلࣰا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَ

اور زمین پر پہاڑوں کے بوجھ ڈال دیے تاکہ تمہیں لے کر نہ ڈگمگائے اور تمہارے لیے نہریں اور راستے بنا دیے تاکہ تم راہ پاؤ

And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you, and [made] rivers and roads, that you may be guided,

Wa alqaa fil ardi rawaasiya an tameeda bikum wa anhaaranw wa sublulal la 'allakum tahtadoon

وَعَلَـٰمَـٰتࣲۚ وَبِٱلنَّجۡمِ هُمۡ یَهۡتَدُونَ

اور نشانیاں بنائیں اور ستاروں سے لوگ راہ پاتے ہیں

And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided.

Wa 'alaamaat; wa bin najmi hum yahtadoon

أَفَمَن یَخۡلُقُ كَمَن لَّا یَخۡلُقُۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

پھر کیا جو شخص پیدا کرے اس کے برابر ہے جو کچھ بھی پیدا نہ کرے کیا تم سوچتے نہیں

Then is He who creates like one who does not create? So will you not be reminded?

Afamany yakhluqu kamallaa yakhluq; afalaa tazak karoon

وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَاۤۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ

اور اگر تم الله کی نعمتو ں کو گننے لگو تو ان کا شمار نہیں کر سکو گےبے شک الله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Wa in ta'uddoo ni'matal laahi laa tuhsoohaa; innal laaha la Ghafoorur Raheem

وَٱللَّهُ یَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَ

اور الله جانتا ہے جو تم چھپاتے ہو اور جو تم ظاہر کرتےہو

And Allah knows what you conceal and what you declare.

Wallaahu ya'lamu maa tusirroona wa maa tu'linoon

وَٱلَّذِینَ یَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا یَخۡلُقُونَ شَیۡـࣰٔا وَهُمۡ یُخۡلَقُونَ

اور جنہیں الله کے سوا پکارتے ہیں وہ کچھ بھی پیدانہیں کرتے اور وہ خود پیدا کیے ہوئے ہیں

And those they invoke other than Allah create nothing, and they [themselves] are created.

Wallazeena yad'oona min doonil laahi laa yakhluqoona shai'anw wa hum yukhlaqoon

أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠تٌ غَیۡرُ أَحۡیَاۤءࣲۖ وَمَا یَشۡعُرُونَ أَیَّانَ یُبۡعَثُونَ

وہ تو مردے ہیں جن میں جان نہیں اور وہ نہیں جانتے کہ لوگ کب اٹھائے جائیں گے

They are, [in fact], dead, not alive, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.

Amwaatun ghairu ahyaaa'inw wa maa yash'uroona aiyaana yub'asoon

إِلَـٰهُكُمۡ إِلَـٰهࣱ وَ ٰ⁠حِدࣱۚ فَٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةࣱ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

تمہارا معبود اکیلا معبود ہے پھر جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے ان کے دل نہیں مانتے اور وہ تکبر کرنے والے ہیں

Your god is one God. But those who do not believe in the Hereafter - their hearts are disapproving, and they are arrogant.

Illahukum Ilaahunw Waahid; fallazeena laa yu'minoona bil Aakhirati quloobuhum munkiratunw wa hum mustakbiroon

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا یُسِرُّونَ وَمَا یُعۡلِنُونَۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُسۡتَكۡبِرِینَ

ضرور الله جانتا ہے جو کچھ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو کچھ ظاہر کرتے ہیں بے شک وہ غرور کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا

Assuredly, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare. Indeed, He does not like the arrogant.

Laa jarama annal laaha ya'lamu maa yusirrona wa ma yu'linoon; innahoo laa yuhibbul mustakbireen

وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُم مَّاذَاۤ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمۡ قَالُوۤا۟ أَسَـٰطِیرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ

اور جب ان سے کہا جائے کہ تمہارے رب نے کیا نازل کیا ہے کہتے ہیں پہلے لوگوں کے قصے ہیں تاکہ قیامت کے دن اپنے بوجھ پورے اٹھائيں اورکچھ ان کے بوجھ جنہیں بے علمی سے گمراہ کرتے ہیں خبردار برا بوجھ ہے جواٹھاتے ہیں

And when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down?" They say, "Legends of the former peoples,"

Wa izaa qeela lahum maazaaa anzala Rabbukum qaaloo asaateerul awwaleen

لِیَحۡمِلُوۤا۟ أَوۡزَارَهُمۡ كَامِلَةࣰ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ وَمِنۡ أَوۡزَارِ ٱلَّذِینَ یُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍۗ أَلَا سَاۤءَ مَا یَزِرُونَ

ان سے پہلےلوگوں نے بھی مکر کیا تھا پھر الله نے ان کی عمارت کو جڑوں سے ڈھا دیا پھر ان پر اوپر سے چھت گر پڑی اور ان پر عذاب آیا جہاں سے انہیں خبر بھی نہ تھی

That they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection and some of the burdens of those whom they misguide without knowledge. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.

Liyahmilooo awzaarahum kaamilatany Yawmal Qiyaamati wa min awzaaril lazeena yudilloonahum bighairi 'ilm; alaa saaa'a maa yaziroon

قَدۡ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنۡیَـٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلسَّقۡفُ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَا یَشۡعُرُونَ

پھر قیامت کے دن انہیں رسوا کرے گا اور کہے گا میرے شریک کہاں ہیں جن پر تمہیں بڑی ضد تھی جنہیں علم دیا گیا تھا وہ کہیں گے کہ بے شک آج کافروں کے لیے رسوائی اور برائی ہے

Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.

Qad makaral lazeena min qablihim fa atal laahu bunyaa nahum minal qawaa'idi fakharra 'alaihimus saqfu min fawqihim wa ataahumul 'azaabu min haisu laa yash'uroon

ثُمَّ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ یُخۡزِیهِمۡ وَیَقُولُ أَیۡنَ شُرَكَاۤءِیَ ٱلَّذِینَ كُنتُمۡ تُشَـٰۤقُّونَ فِیهِمۡۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ إِنَّ ٱلۡخِزۡیَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ وَٱلسُّوۤءَ عَلَى ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں کہ فرشتوں نے ان کی ایسی حالت میں روح نکالی تھی کہ وہ اپنے آپ پر ظلم کر رہے تھے

Then on the Day of Resurrection He will disgrace them and say, "Where are My 'partners' for whom you used to oppose [the believers]?" Those who were given knowledge will say, "Indeed disgrace, this Day, and evil are upon the disbelievers" -

Summa Yawmal Qiyaamati yukhzeehim wa yaqoolu aina shurakaaa'iyal lazeena kuntum tushaaaqqoona feehim; qaalal lazeena ootul 'ilma innal khizyal Yawma wassooo'a 'alal kaafireen

ٱلَّذِینَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ ظَالِمِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ فَأَلۡقَوُا۟ ٱلسَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُ مِن سُوۤءِۭۚ بَلَىٰۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِیمُۢ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

پھر وہ صلح کا پیغام بھیجیں گے کہ ہم تو کوئی برا کام نہ کرتے تھے کیوں نہیں بے شک الله کو تمہارے اعمال کی پوری خبر ہے

The ones whom the angels take in death [while] wronging themselves, and [who] then offer submission, [saying], "We were not doing any evil." But, yes! Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what you used to do.

Allazeena tatawaf faahu mul malaaa'ikatu zaalimeee anfusihim fa alqawus salama maa kunnaa na'malu min sooo'; balaaa innal laaha 'aleemum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon

فَٱدۡخُلُوۤا۟ أَبۡوَ ٰ⁠بَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۖ فَلَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَى ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِینَ

سو دوزخ کے دروازوں میں داخل ہو جاؤ اس میں ہمیشہ رہو پس متکبرین کا کیا ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے

So enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and how wretched is the residence of the arrogant.

Fadkhulooo abwaaba jahannama khaalideena feeha falabi'sa maswal mutakab bireen

۞ وَقِیلَ لِلَّذِینَ ٱتَّقَوۡا۟ مَاذَاۤ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمۡۚ قَالُوا۟ خَیۡرࣰاۗ لِّلَّذِینَ أَحۡسَنُوا۟ فِی هَـٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَةࣱۚ وَلَدَارُ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ خَیۡرࣱۚ وَلَنِعۡمَ دَارُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ

اور پرہیزگاروں سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ تمہارے رب نے کیا نازل کیا ہے تو کہتے ہیں اچھی چیز جنہوں نے نیکی کی ہے (ان کے لیے) اس دنیا میں بھی بہتری ہے اور البتہ آخرت کا گھر تو بہت ہی بہتر ہے اور پرہیزگاروں کا کیا ہی اچھا گھر ہے

And it will be said to those who feared Allah, "What did your Lord send down?" They will say, "[That which is] good." For those who do good in this world is good; and the home of the Hereafter is better. And how excellent is the home of the righteous -

Wa qeela lillazeenat taqaw maazaaa anzala Rabbukum; qaaloo khairaa; lillazeena absanoo fee haazihid dunyaa hasanah; wa la Daarul Aakhirati khair; wa lani'ma daarul muttaqeen

جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنࣲ یَدۡخُلُونَهَا تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُۖ لَهُمۡ فِیهَا مَا یَشَاۤءُونَۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَجۡزِی ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ

ہمیشہ رہنے کے باغ ہیں جن میں وہ داخل ہوں گے اور ان کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی جو چاہیں گے انہیں وہاں ملے گا الله پرہیزگاروں کو ایسا ہی بدلہ دے گا

Gardens of perpetual residence, which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow. They will have therein whatever they wish. Thus does Allah reward the righteous -

Jannaatu 'Adniny yadkhuloonahaa tajree min tahtihal anhaaru lahum feehaa maa yashaaa'oon; kazaalika yajzil laahul muttaqeen

ٱلَّذِینَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ طَیِّبِینَ یَقُولُونَ سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَیۡكُمُ ٱدۡخُلُوا۟ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

جن کی جان فرشتے قبض کرتے ہیں ایسے حال میں کہ وہ پاک ہیں فرشتے کہیں گے تم پر سلامتی ہو بہشت میں داخل ہو جاؤ بسبب ان کاموں کے جو تم کرتے تھے

The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do."

Allazeena tatawaf faahumul malaaa'ikatu taiyibeena yaqooloona salaamun 'alai kumud khulul Jannata bimaa kuntum ta'maloon

هَلۡ یَنظُرُونَ إِلَّاۤ أَن تَأۡتِیَهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ أَوۡ یَأۡتِیَ أَمۡرُ رَبِّكَۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ یَظۡلِمُونَ

کیا اب اس کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان پر فرشتے آویں یا تیرے رب کا حکم آئے اسی طرح ان سے پہلوں نے بھی کیا تھا اور الله نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا اور لیکن وہ اپنے نفسوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے

Do the disbelievers await [anything] except that the angels should come to them or there comes the command of your Lord? Thus did those do before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they had been wronging themselves.

Hal yanzuroona illaaa an taatiyahumul malaaa'ikatu aw yaatiya amru Rabbik; kazaalika fa'alal lazeena min qablihim; wa maa zalamahumul laahu wa laakin kaanoo anfusahum yazlimoon

فَأَصَابَهُمۡ سَیِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

پھر انہیں ان کے بد اعمال کے نتیجے مل کر رہے اورجس کی وہ ہنسی اڑایا کرتے تھے وہی ان پر نازل ہوا

So they were struck by the evil consequences of what they did and were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

Fa asaabahum saiyi aatu maa 'amiloo wa haaqa bihim maa kaano bihee yastahzi'oon

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ أَشۡرَكُوا۟ لَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا عَبَدۡنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَیۡءࣲ نَّحۡنُ وَلَاۤ ءَابَاۤؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَیۡءࣲۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ فَهَلۡ عَلَى ٱلرُّسُلِ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ

اور مشرک کہتے ہیں اگر الله چاہتا تو ہم اس کے سوا کسی چیز کی عبادت نہ کرتے اور نہ ہمارے باپ دادا اور اس کے حکم کے سوا ہم کسی چیز کو حرام نہ ٹھیراتے اسی طرح کیا ان لوگو ں نے جو ان سے پہلے تھے پھر رسولوں کے ذمہ تو صرف صاف پہنچا دینا ہے

And those who associate others with Allah say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him." Thus did those do before them. So is there upon the messengers except [the duty of] clear notification?

Wa qaalal lazeena ashrakoo law shaaa'al laahu ma 'abadnaa min doonihee min shai'in nahnu wa laaa aabaaa'unaa wa laa harramnaa min doonihee min shai'; kazaalika fa'alal lazeena min qablihim fahal 'alar Rusuli illal balaaghul mubeen

وَلَقَدۡ بَعَثۡنَا فِی كُلِّ أُمَّةࣲ رَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجۡتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَۖ فَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ حَقَّتۡ عَلَیۡهِ ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةُۚ فَسِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ

اور البتہ تحقیق ہم نے ہر امت میں یہ پیغام دے کر رسول بھیجا کہ الله کی عبادت کرو اور شیطان سے بچو پھر ان میں سے بعض کو الله نے ہدایت دی اوربعض پر گمراہی ثابت ہوئی پھر ملک میں پھر کر دیکھو کہ جھٹلانے والوں کا انجام کیا ہوا

And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.

Wa laqad ba'asnaa fee kulli ummatir Rasoolan ani'budul laaha wajtanibut Taaghoota faminhum man hadal laahu wa minhum man haqqat 'alaihid dalaalah; faseeroo fil ardi fanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul mukazzibeen

إِن تَحۡرِصۡ عَلَىٰ هُدَىٰهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَهۡدِی مَن یُضِلُّۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِینَ

اگر تو انہیں ہدایت پرلانے کی طمع کرے تو الله ہدایت نہیں دیتا اس شخص کو جسے گمراہ کر دے اور نہ ان کے لیے کوئی مددگار ہوگا

[Even] if you should strive for their guidance, [O Muhammad], indeed, Allah does not guide those He sends astray, and they will have no helpers.

In tahris 'alaa hudaahum fa innal laaha laa yahdee mai yudillu wa maa lahum min naasireen

وَأَقۡسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَیۡمَـٰنِهِمۡ لَا یَبۡعَثُ ٱللَّهُ مَن یَمُوتُۚ بَلَىٰ وَعۡدًا عَلَیۡهِ حَقࣰّا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ

اور الله کی سخت قسمیں کھا کر کہتے ہیں کہ الله انہیں اٹھائے گا اس شخص کو جو مر جائے گا ہاں اس نے اپنے ذمہ پکا وعدہ کر لیا ہے لیکن بہت سے لوگ نہیں جانتے

And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths [that] Allah will not resurrect one who dies. But yes - [it is] a true promise [binding] upon Him, but most of the people do not know.

Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aimaanihim laa yab'asul laahu mai yamoot; balaa wa'dan 'alaihi haqqanw wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa ya'lamoon

لِیُبَیِّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلَّذِی یَخۡتَلِفُونَ فِیهِ وَلِیَعۡلَمَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ أَنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ كَـٰذِبِینَ

تاکہ ان پر ظاہر کر دے وہ بات جس میں یہ جھگڑتے ہیں اور تاکہ کافر معلوم کر لیں کہ وہ جھوٹے تھے

[It is] so He will make clear to them [the truth of] that wherein they differ and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were liars.

Liyubaiyina lahumul lazee yakhtalifoona feehi wa liya'lamal lazeena kafarooo annahum kaanoo kaazibeen

إِنَّمَا قَوۡلُنَا لِشَیۡءٍ إِذَاۤ أَرَدۡنَـٰهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَیَكُونُ

ہم جس کام کےکرنے کا ارادہ کرتے ہیں تو اس کے لیے ہمارا اتنا ہی کہنا کافی ہے کہ ہم اسے کہہ دیں کہ ہو جا پھر ہو جاتا ہے

Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, "Be," and it is.

Innamaa qawlunaa lisha y'in izaa aradnaahu an naqoola lahoo kun fa yakoon

وَٱلَّذِینَ هَاجَرُوا۟ فِی ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا۟ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمۡ فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَةࣰۖ وَلَأَجۡرُ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُوا۟ یَعۡلَمُونَ

اورجنہوں نے الله کے واسطے گھر چھوڑا اس کےبعد ان پر ظلم کیا گیا تھا تو البتہ ہم نے انہیں دنیا میں اچھی جگہ دیں گے اور آخرت کا ثواب تو بہت ہی بڑا ہے کاش یہ لوگ سمجھ جاتے

And those who emigrated for [the cause of] Allah after they had been wronged - We will surely settle them in this world in a good place; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they could know.

Wallazeena haajaroo fil laahi mim ba'di maa zulimoo lanubawwi' annahum fiddunyaa hasanatanw wa la ajrul Aakhirati akbar; law kaanoo ya'lamoon

ٱلَّذِینَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ یَتَوَكَّلُونَ

جو لوگ ثابت قدم رہے اور اپنے رب پر بھروسہ کیا

[They are] those who endured patiently and upon their Lord relied.

Allazeena sabaroo wa 'alaa Rabbihim yatawak kaloon

وَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالࣰا نُّوحِیۤ إِلَیۡهِمۡۖ فَسۡـَٔلُوۤا۟ أَهۡلَ ٱلذِّكۡرِ إِن كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

اور ہم نے تجھ سے پہلے بھی تو انسان ہی بھیجے تھے جن کی طرف ہم وحی بھیجا کرتے تھے سو اگر تمہیں معلوم نہیں تو اہلِ علم سے پوچھ لو

And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know.

Wa maaa arsalnaa min qablika illaa rijaalan nooheee ilaihim; fas'alooo ahlaz zikri in kuntum laa ta'lamoon

بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ وَٱلزُّبُرِۗ وَأَنزَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ لِتُبَیِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ

ہم نے انہیں معجزات اور کتابیں دے کر بھیجا تھا اور ہم نے تیری طرف قرآن نازل کیا تاکہ لوگو ں کے لیے واضح کر دے جو ان کی طرف نازل کیا گیا ہے اور تاکہ وہ سوچ لیں

[We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought.

Bilbaiyinaati waz Zubur; wa anzalnaaa ilaikaz Zikra litubaiyina linnaasi maa nuzzila ilaihim wa la'allahum yatafakkaroon

أَفَأَمِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ مَكَرُوا۟ ٱلسَّیِّـَٔاتِ أَن یَخۡسِفَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَوۡ یَأۡتِیَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَا یَشۡعُرُونَ

پس کیا وہ لوگ نڈر ہو گئے ہیں جو برے فریب کرتے ہیں اس سے کہ الله انہیں زمین میں دھنسا دے یاان پر عذاب آئے جہاں سے انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہو

Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive?

Afa aminal lazeena makarus saiyi aati ai yakhsifal laahu bihimul arda aw yaaa tiyahumul 'azaabu min haisu laa yash'uroon

أَوۡ یَأۡخُذَهُمۡ فِی تَقَلُّبِهِمۡ فَمَا هُم بِمُعۡجِزِینَ

یا انہیں چلتے پھرتے پکڑے پس وہ عاجز کرنے والے نہیں ہیں

Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure?

Aw yaakhuzahum fee taqallubihim famaa hum bi mu'jizeen

أَوۡ یَأۡخُذَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ تَخَوُّفࣲ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمۡ لَرَءُوفࣱ رَّحِیمٌ

یا انہیں ڈرانے کے بعد پکڑے پس تحقیق تمہارا رب نہایت ہی شفیق رحم کرنے والا ہے

Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.

Aw yaakhuzahum 'alaa takhawwuf; fa inna Rabbakum la Ra'oofur Raheem

أَوَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَیۡءࣲ یَتَفَیَّؤُا۟ ظِلَـٰلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلۡیَمِینِ وَٱلشَّمَاۤىِٕلِ سُجَّدࣰا لِّلَّهِ وَهُمۡ دَ ٰ⁠خِرُونَ

کیا وہ الله کی پیدا کی ہوئی چیزوں کونہیں دیکھتے کہ کے سائے دائیں اوربائیں طرف جھکے جارہے ہیں اور نہایت عاجزی کے ساتھ الله کو سجدہ کررہے ہیں

Have they not considered what things Allah has created? Their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah, while they are humble.

Awa lam yaraw ilaa maa khalaqal laahu min shai'iny-yatafaiya'u zilaaluhoo 'anil yameeni washshamaaa' ili sujjadal lillaahi wa hum daakhiroon

وَلِلَّهِ یَسۡجُدُ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِن دَاۤبَّةࣲ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَهُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

اور جو آسمان میں ہے اور جو زمین میں ہے جانداروں سے اور فرشتے سب الله ہی کو سجدہ کرتے ہیں اوروہ تکبرنہیں کرتے

And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant.

Wa lillaahi yasjudu maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi min daaabbatinw walma laaa'ikatu wa hum laa yastakbiroon

یَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَیَفۡعَلُونَ مَا یُؤۡمَرُونَ ۩

وہ اپنے بالادست رب سے ڈرتے ہیں اور انہیں جو حکم دیا جاتا ہے وہ بجا لاتے ہیں

They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded.

yakhaafoona Rabbahum min fawqihim wa yaf'aloona maa yu'maroon

۞ وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوۤا۟ إِلَـٰهَیۡنِ ٱثۡنَیۡنِۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهࣱ وَ ٰ⁠حِدࣱ فَإِیَّـٰیَ فَٱرۡهَبُونِ

الله نے کہا ہے دو معبود نہ بناؤ وہ ایک ہی معبود ہے پھر مجھ ہی سے ڈرو

And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me."

Wa qaalal laahu laa tatta khizooo ilaahainis naini innamaa Huwa Ilaahunw Waahid; fa iyyaaya farhaboon

وَلَهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَهُ ٱلدِّینُ وَاصِبًاۚ أَفَغَیۡرَ ٱللَّهِ تَتَّقُونَ

اوراسی کا ہے جوکچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے اور عبادت اسی کی لازم ہے پھرکیا الله کے سوا اوروں سے ڈرتے ہو

And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear?

Wa lahoo maa fis samaawaati wal ardi wa lahud deenu waasibaa; afaghairal laahi tattaqoon

وَمَا بِكُم مِّن نِّعۡمَةࣲ فَمِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ ثُمَّ إِذَا مَسَّكُمُ ٱلضُّرُّ فَإِلَیۡهِ تَجۡـَٔرُونَ

اور تمہارے پاس جو نعمت بھی ہے سو الله کی طرف سے ہے پھر جب تمہیں تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تواسی سے فریاد کرتے ہو

And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help.

Wa maa bikum minni'matin faminal laahi summa izaa massakumud durru fa ilaihi taj'aroon

ثُمَّ إِذَا كَشَفَ ٱلضُّرَّ عَنكُمۡ إِذَا فَرِیقࣱ مِّنكُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ یُشۡرِكُونَ

پھر جب تم سے تکلیف دور کر دیتا ہےتو فوراً تم میں سے ایک جماعت اپنے رب کے ساتھ شریک بنانے لگتی ہے

Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord

Summaa izaa kashafad durra 'ankum izaa fareequm minkum bi Rabbihim yushrikoon

لِیَكۡفُرُوا۟ بِمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمۡۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

تاکہ جو نعمتیں ہم نےانہیں دی تھیں ان کی ناشکری کریں خیر نفع اٹھالو آ گے چل کر معلوم کر لو گے

So they will deny what We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know.

Liyakfuroo bimaa aatainaahum; fatamatta'oo, faswfa ta'lamoon

وَیَجۡعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ نَصِیبࣰا مِّمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡۗ تَٱللَّهِ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمۡ تَفۡتَرُونَ

اور جنہیں وہ جانتے بھی نہیں ان کے لیے ہماری دی ہوئی چیزوں میں سے ایک حصہ مقرر کرتے ہیں الله کی قسم البتہ تم سے ان بہتانوں کی ضرور باز پرس ہوگی

And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent.

Wa yaj'aloona limaa laa ya'lamoona naseebam mimmaa razaqnnaahum; tallaahi latus'alunaa 'ammaa kuntum taftaroon

وَیَجۡعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡبَنَـٰتِ سُبۡحَـٰنَهُۥ وَلَهُم مَّا یَشۡتَهُونَ

اور الله کے لیے بیٹیاں ٹھیراتے ہیں وہ اس سے پاک ہے اور اپنے لیے جو دل چاہتا ہے

And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire.

Wa yaj'aloona lillaahil banaati Subhaanahoo wa lahum maa yashtahoon

وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلۡأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجۡهُهُۥ مُسۡوَدࣰّا وَهُوَ كَظِیمࣱ

اور جب ان میں سے کسی کی بیٹی کی خوشخبری دی جائے اس کا منہ سیاہ ہو جاتا ہے اور وہ غمگین ہوتا ہے

And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.

Wa izaa bushshira ahaduhum bil unsaa zalla wajhuhoo muswaddanw wa huwa kazeem

یَتَوَ ٰ⁠رَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ مِن سُوۤءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِۦۤۚ أَیُمۡسِكُهُۥ عَلَىٰ هُونٍ أَمۡ یَدُسُّهُۥ فِی ٱلتُّرَابِۗ أَلَا سَاۤءَ مَا یَحۡكُمُونَ

اس خوشخبری کی برائی باعث لوگوں سے چھپتا پھرتا ہے آیا اسے ذلت قبول کر کے رہنے دے یااس کو مٹی میں دفن کر دے دیکھو کیا ہی برا فیصلہ کرتے ہیں

He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide.

yatawaaraa minal qawmimin sooo'i maa bushshira bih; a-yumsikuhoo 'alaa hoonin am yadussuhoo fit turaab; alaa saaa'a maa yahkumoon

لِلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ مَثَلُ ٱلسَّوۡءِۖ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡمَثَلُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ

جو آخرت کو نہیں مانتے ان کی بری مثال ہے اور الله کی شان سب سے بلند ہے اور وہی زبردست حکمت والا ہے

For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Lillazeena laa yu'minoona bil Aakhirati masalus saw'i wa lillaahil masalul a'laa; wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem

وَلَوۡ یُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلۡمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَیۡهَا مِن دَاۤبَّةࣲ وَلَـٰكِن یُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّىۖ فَإِذَا جَاۤءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ سَاعَةࣰ وَلَا یَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ

اور اگر الله لوگوں کوانکی بے انصافی پر پکڑے تو زمین پر کسی جاندار کو نہ چھوڑے لیکن ایک مدت مقرر تک انہیں مہلت دیتا ہے پھر جب ان کا وقت آتا ہے تو نہ ایک گھڑی پیچھے ہٹ سکتے ہیں اورنہ آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیں

And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature, but He defers them for a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].

Wa law yu'aakhizul laahun naasa bizulminhim maa taraka 'alaihaa min daaabbatinw wa laakiny yu'akhkhiruhum ilaaa ajalim musamman fa izaa jaaa'a ajaluhum laa yastaakhiroona saa'atanw wa laa yastaqdimoon

وَیَجۡعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا یَكۡرَهُونَۚ وَتَصِفُ أَلۡسِنَتُهُمُ ٱلۡكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَ وَأَنَّهُم مُّفۡرَطُونَ

اور اللهکے لیے وہ چیزیں تجویز کرتے ہیں جنہیں آپ بھی پسند نہیں کرتے اورزبان سے جھوٹے دعوے کرتے ہیں کہ آخرت کی بھلائی انہیں کے لیے ہے اسمیں شک نہیں کہ ان کے لیے آگ ہے اور بے شک وہ سب سے پہلے دوزخ میں بھیجے جائیں گے

And they attribute to Allah that which they dislike, and their tongues assert the lie that they will have the best [from Him]. Assuredly, they will have the Fire, and they will be [therein] neglected.

Wa yaj'aloona lillaahi maa yakrahoona wa tasifu alsinatuhumul kaziba anna lahumul husnaa laa jarama anna lahumun Naara wa annahum mufratoon

تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰۤ أُمَمࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَزَیَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ أَعۡمَـٰلَهُمۡ فَهُوَ وَلِیُّهُمُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ

الله کی قسم ہے! ہم نے تجھ سے پہلے بھی قوموں میں رسول بھیجے تھے پھر شیطان نے لوگوں کو ان کی بداعمالیاں اچھی کر دکھائیں سو آج بھی ان کا وہی دوست ہے اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے

By Allah, We did certainly send [messengers] to nations before you, but Satan made their deeds attractive to them. And he is the disbelievers' ally today [as well], and they will have a painful punishment.

Tallaahi laqad arsalnaaa ilaaa umamim min qablika fazayyana lahumush Shaitaanu a'maalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumul yawma wa lahum 'azaabun aleem

وَمَاۤ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ إِلَّا لِتُبَیِّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلَّذِی ٱخۡتَلَفُوا۟ فِیهِ وَهُدࣰى وَرَحۡمَةࣰ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یُؤۡمِنُونَ

اور ہم نے اسی لیے تجھ پر کتاب اتاری ہے کہ تو انہیں وہ چیز کھول کر سنا دے جس میں وہ جھگڑ رہے ہیں اور ایمانداروں کے لیے ہدایت اور رحمت بھی ہے

And We have not revealed to you the Book, [O Muhammad], except for you to make clear to them that wherein they have differed and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

Wa maaa anzalnaa 'alaikal Kitaaba illaa litubaiyina lahumul lazikh talafoo feehi wa hudanw wa rahmatal liqawminy yu'minoon

وَٱللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَأَحۡیَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَةࣰ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَسۡمَعُونَ

اور الله نے آسمان سے پانی اتارا پھراس سے مردہ زمین کو زندہ کر دیا اس میں ان لوگو ں کے لیے نشانی ہے جو سنتے ہیں

And Allah has sent down rain from the sky and given life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who listen.

Wallaahu anzala minas samaaa'i maaa'an fa ahyaa bihil arda ba'da mawtihaa; inna fee zaalika la aayatal liqaw miny yasma'oon

وَإِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ لَعِبۡرَةࣰۖ نُّسۡقِیكُم مِّمَّا فِی بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَیۡنِ فَرۡثࣲ وَدَمࣲ لَّبَنًا خَالِصࣰا سَاۤىِٕغࣰا لِّلشَّـٰرِبِینَ

اوربے شک تمہارے لیے چارپایوں میں سوچنے کی جگہ ہے ہم نےان کے جسم سے خون او رگوبر کے درمیان خالص دودھ پیدا کردیتے ہیں جو پینے والوں کے لیے خوشگوار ہے

And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their bellies - between excretion and blood - pure milk, palatable to drinkers.

Wa inna lakum fil an'aami la'ibrah; nusqeekum mimmmaa fee butoonihee mim baini farsinw wa damil labanann khaalisan saaa'ighallish shaaribeen

وَمِن ثَمَرَ ٰ⁠تِ ٱلنَّخِیلِ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَـٰبِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنۡهُ سَكَرࣰا وَرِزۡقًا حَسَنًاۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَةࣰ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ

اور کھجور اور انگور کے پھلوں سے نشہ اور اچھی غذا بھی بناتے ہو اس میں لوگوں کے لیے نشانی ہے جو سمجھتے ہیں

And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason.

Wa min samaraatin nakheeli wal a'nnaabi tattakhizoona minhu sakaranw wa rizqann hasanaa; inna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqawminy ya'qiloon

وَأَوۡحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحۡلِ أَنِ ٱتَّخِذِی مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُیُوتࣰا وَمِنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا یَعۡرِشُونَ

اور تیرے رب نے شہد کی مکھی کو حکم دیا کہ پہاڑوں میں اور درختوں میں اور ان چھتوں میں گھر بنائے جو اس کے لیے بناتے ہیں

And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct.

Wa awhaa Rabbuka ilannnabli anit takhizee minal jabaali buyootanw wa minash shajari wa mimmaa ya'rishoon

ثُمَّ كُلِی مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَ ٰ⁠تِ فَٱسۡلُكِی سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلࣰاۚ یَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابࣱ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَ ٰ⁠نُهُۥ فِیهِ شِفَاۤءࣱ لِّلنَّاسِۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَةࣰ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ

پھر ہر قسم کے میوں سے کھا پھر اپنے رب کی تجویز کردہ آسان راہوں پر چل ان کے پیٹ سے پینے کی چیز نکلتی ہے جس کے رنگ مختلف ہیں اس میں لوگوں کے لیے شفا ہے بے شک اس میں ان لوگو ں کے لیے نشانی ہے جو سوچتے ہیں

Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

Summma kulee min kullis samaraati faslukee subula Rabbiki zululaa; yakhruju mim butoonihaa sharaabum mukh talifun alwaanuhoo feehi shifaaa'ul linnaas, innna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqawminy yatafakkaroon

وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ یَتَوَفَّىٰكُمۡۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن یُرَدُّ إِلَىٰۤ أَرۡذَلِ ٱلۡعُمُرِ لِكَیۡ لَا یَعۡلَمَ بَعۡدَ عِلۡمࣲ شَیۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِیمࣱ قَدِیرࣱ

اور الله نے تمہیں پیدا کیا پھر وہی تمہیں مارتاہے اور کوئی تم میں سے نکمی عمر تک پہنچایا جاتا ہے جو سمجھ دار ہونے کے بعد نادان ہو جاتا ہے بےشک الله جاننے والا قدرت والا ہے

And Allah created you; then He will take you in death. And among you is he who is reversed to the most decrepit [old] age so that he will not know, after [having had] knowledge, a thing. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Competent.

Wallaahu khalaqakum suma tatawaffaakum; wa minkum many-yuradu ilaaa arzalil 'umuri likai laa ya'lama ba'da 'ilmin shai'aa; innal laaha 'Aleemun Qadeer

وَٱللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعۡضَكُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ فِی ٱلرِّزۡقِۚ فَمَا ٱلَّذِینَ فُضِّلُوا۟ بِرَاۤدِّی رِزۡقِهِمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ فِیهِ سَوَاۤءٌۚ أَفَبِنِعۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِ یَجۡحَدُونَ

اور الله نے تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر روزی میں فضیلت دی پھر جنہیں فضیلت دی گئی وہ اپنے حصہ کا مال اپنے غلاموں کو دینےو الے نہیں کہ وہ اس میں برابر ہو جائیں پھر کیا الله کی نعمت کا انکار کرتے ہیں

And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who were favored would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein. Then is it the favor of Allah they reject?

Wallaahu faddala ba'dakum 'alaa ba'din fir rizq; famal lazeena fuddiloo biraaaddee rizqihim 'alaa maa malakat aimaanuhum fahum feehi sawaaa'; afabini'matil laahi yajhadoon

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جِكُم بَنِینَ وَحَفَدَةࣰ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّیِّبَـٰتِۚ أَفَبِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ یُؤۡمِنُونَ وَبِنِعۡمَتِ ٱللَّهِ هُمۡ یَكۡفُرُونَ

اور الله نے تمہارے واسطے تمہاری ہی قسم سے عورتیں پیدا کیں اور تمہیں تمہاری عورتوں سے بیٹے اور پوتے دیئے اور تمہیں کھانے کے لیے اچھی چیزیں دیں پھرکیا جھوٹی باتیں تو مان لیتے ہیں اور الله کی نعمتوں کا انکار کرتے ہیں

And Allah has made for you from yourselves mates and has made for you from your mates sons and grandchildren and has provided for you from the good things. Then in falsehood do they believe and in the favor of Allah they disbelieve?

Wallaahu ja'ala lakum min anfusikum azwaajanw wa ja'ala lakum min azwaajikum baneena wa hafadatanw wa razaqakum minat yaiyibaat; afabil baatili yu'minoona wa bini'matil laahi hum yakkfuroon

وَیَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا یَمۡلِكُ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقࣰا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ شَیۡـࣰٔا وَلَا یَسۡتَطِیعُونَ

اور الله کے سوا ان کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو آسمانوں ارو زمین سے انہیں رزق پہنچانے میں کچھ بھی اختیارنہیں رکھتے اور نہ رکھ سکتے ہیں

And they worship besides Allah that which does not possess for them [the power of] provision from the heavens and the earth at all, and [in fact], they are unable.

Wa ya'budoona min doonil laahi maa laa yamliku lahum rizqam minas samaawaati wal ardi shai'anw wa laa yastatee'oon

فَلَا تَضۡرِبُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَعۡلَمُ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

پس الله کے لئے مثالیں نہ گھڑو بے شک الله جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے

So do not assert similarities to Allah. Indeed, Allah knows and you do not know.

Falaa tadriboo lillaahil amsaal; innal laaha ya'lamu wa antum laa ta'lamoon

۞ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا عَبۡدࣰا مَّمۡلُوكࣰا لَّا یَقۡدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَیۡءࣲ وَمَن رَّزَقۡنَـٰهُ مِنَّا رِزۡقًا حَسَنࣰا فَهُوَ یُنفِقُ مِنۡهُ سِرࣰّا وَجَهۡرًاۖ هَلۡ یَسۡتَوُۥنَۚ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ

الله ایک مثال بیان فرماتا ہے ایک غلام ہے کسی دوسرے کی ملک میں جو کسی چیز کا اختیارنہیں رکھتا اور ایک دوسرا آدمی ہے جسے ہم نے اچھی روزی دے رکھی ہے اور وہ ظاہر اور پوشیدہ اسے خرچ کرتا ہے کیا دونوں برابر ہیں سب تعریف الله کے لیے ہے مگر اکثر ان میں سے نہیں جانتے

Allah presents an example: a slave [who is] owned and unable to do a thing and he to whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly. Can they be equal? Praise to Allah! But most of them do not know.

Darabal laahu masalan 'abdam mammlookal laa yaqdiru 'alaa shai'inw wa marrazaqnaahu mminnaa rizqan hasanan fahuwa yunfiqu minhu sirranw wa jahra; hal yasta-woon; alhamdu lillaah; bal aksaruhum laa ya'lamoon

وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلࣰا رَّجُلَیۡنِ أَحَدُهُمَاۤ أَبۡكَمُ لَا یَقۡدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَیۡءࣲ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوۡلَىٰهُ أَیۡنَمَا یُوَجِّههُّ لَا یَأۡتِ بِخَیۡرٍ هَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی هُوَ وَمَن یَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰ⁠طࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ

اور الله ایک او رمثال دو آدمیوں کی بیان فرماتا ہے ایک ان میں سے گونگا ہے کچھ بھی نہیں کر سکتااور اپنے آقا پر ایک بوجھ ہے جہاں کہیں اسے بھیجے اس سے کوئی خوبی کی بات بن نہ آئے کیا یہ اور وہ برابر ہے جو لوگوں کو انصاف کا حکم دیتا ہے اور وہ خود بھی سیدھے راستے پر قائم ہے

And Allah presents an example of two men, one of them dumb and unable to do a thing, while he is a burden to his guardian. Wherever he directs him, he brings no good. Is he equal to one who commands justice, while he is on a straight path?

Wa darabal laahu masalar rajulaini ahaduhumaaa abkamu laa yaqdiru 'alaa shai'inw wa huwa kallun 'alaa mawlaahu ainamaa yuwajjihhu laa yaati bikhairin hal yastawee huwa wa many-yaamuru bil'adli wa huwa 'alaa Siraatim MMustaqeem

وَلِلَّهِ غَیۡبُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَمَاۤ أَمۡرُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمۡحِ ٱلۡبَصَرِ أَوۡ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ

اور آسمانوں اور زمین کی پوشیدہ باتیں تو الله ہی کو معلوم ہیں اور قیامت کا معاملہ تو ایسا ہے جیسا آنکھ کا جھپکنا یا اس سےبھی قریب تر بے شک الله ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

And to Allah belongs the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

Wa lillaahi ghaibus samaawaati wal ard; wa maaa amrus Saa'ati illaa kalamhil basari aw huwa aqrab; innal laaha 'alaaa kulli shai'in Qadeer

وَٱللَّهُ أَخۡرَجَكُم مِّنۢ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ شَیۡـࣰٔا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

اور الله نے تمہیں تمہاری ماؤں کے پیٹ سے نکالا تم کسی چیز کو نہ جانتے تھے اور تمہیں کان اور آنکھیں اور دل دیئے تاکہ تم شکر کرو

And Allah has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and intellect that perhaps you would be grateful.

Wallaahu akhrajakum mim butooni ummahaatikum laa ta'lamoona shai'anw wa ja'ala lakumus sam'a wal absaara wal af'idata la'allakum tashkuroon

أَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّیۡرِ مُسَخَّرَ ٰ⁠تࣲ فِی جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَا یُمۡسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یُؤۡمِنُونَ

کیا پرندوں کو نہیں دیکھتے کہ آسمان کی فضا میں تھمے ہوئے ہیں انہیں الله کے سوا کون تھامے ہوئے ہے بے شک اس میں بھی ایمانداروں کے لیے بڑی نشانیاں ہیں

Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.

Alam yaraw ilat tairi musakhkharaatin fee jawwis samaaa'i maa yumsikuhunna illal laah; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy yu'minoon

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۢ بُیُوتِكُمۡ سَكَنࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ بُیُوتࣰا تَسۡتَخِفُّونَهَا یَوۡمَ ظَعۡنِكُمۡ وَیَوۡمَ إِقَامَتِكُمۡ وَمِنۡ أَصۡوَافِهَا وَأَوۡبَارِهَا وَأَشۡعَارِهَاۤ أَثَـٰثࣰا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِینࣲ

اور الله نے تمہارے گھروں کو تمہارے لیے آرام کی جگہ بنایا ہے اور تمہارے لیے چارپایوں کی کھالوں سے خیمے بنائے جنہیں تم اپنے سفر اور قیام کے دن ہلکے پاتے ہو اوربھیڑوں کی اون سے اور اونٹوں کی روؤں سے اوربکریوں کے بالوں سے کتنے ہی سامان اور مفید چیزیں وقت مقرر تک کے لیے بنا دیں

And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest and made for you from the hides of the animals tents which you find light on your day of travel and your day of encampment; and from their wool, fur and hair is furnishing and enjoyment for a time.

Wallaahu ja'ala lakum min juloodil an'aami buyootan tastakhif foonahaa yawma za'nikum wa yawma iqaamatikum wa min aswaafihaa wa awbaarihaa wa ash'aarihaaa asaasanw wa mataa'an ilaa been

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَـٰلࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ أَكۡنَـٰنࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمۡ سَرَ ٰ⁠بِیلَ تَقِیكُمُ ٱلۡحَرَّ وَسَرَ ٰ⁠بِیلَ تَقِیكُم بَأۡسَكُمۡۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَیۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡلِمُونَ

اور الله نے تمہارے لیے اپنی بنائی ہوئی چیزوں کے سائےبنا دیئے اور تمہارے لیے پہاڑوں میں چھپنے کی جگہیں بنا دیں اور تمہارے لیے کرتے بنا دیئے جو تمہیں گرمی سے بچاتے ہیں اور زرہیں جو تمہیں لڑائیں میں بچاتی ہیں اسی طرح الله اپنا احسان تم پر پورا کرتا ہے تاکہ تم فرمانبردار ہو جاؤ

And Allah has made for you, from that which He has created, shadows and has made for you from the mountains, shelters and has made for you garments which protect you from the heat and garments which protect you from your [enemy in] battle. Thus does He complete His favor upon you that you might submit [to Him].

Wallaahu ja'ala lakum mimmaa khalaqa zilaalanw wa ja'ala lakum minal jibaali aknaananw wa ja'ala lakum saraabeela taqeekumul harra wa saraabeela taqeekum baasakum; kazaalika yutimmu ni'matahoo alaikum la'allakum tuslimoon

فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡا۟ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ

پھربھی اگر نہ مانیں تو تم پر صاف صاف پیغام پہنچا دینا ہی ہے

But if they turn away, [O Muhammad] - then only upon you is [responsibility for] clear notification.

Fa in tawallaw fa innamaa 'alaikal balaaghul mubeen

یَعۡرِفُونَ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ یُنكِرُونَهَا وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ

وہ الله کی نعمتیں پہچانتے ہیں پھر منکر ہو جاتے ہیں اوراکثر ان میں سے ناشکر گزار ہیں

They recognize the favor of Allah; then they deny it. And most of them are disbelievers.

Ya'rifoona ni'matal laahi summa yunkiroonahaa wa aksaruhumul kaafiroon

وَیَوۡمَ نَبۡعَثُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةࣲ شَهِیدࣰا ثُمَّ لَا یُؤۡذَنُ لِلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَلَا هُمۡ یُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ

اور جس دن ہم ہر قوم میں سے ایک گواہ کھڑا کریں گے پھر نہ کافروں کو اجازت دی جائے گی اورنہ ان کا کوئی عذر قبول کیا جائے گا

And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect from every nation a witness. Then it will not be permitted to the disbelievers [to apologize or make excuses], nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].

Wa yawma nab'asu min kulli ummatin shaheedan summa laa yu'zanu lillazeena kafaroo wa laa hum yusta'taboon

وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ٱلۡعَذَابَ فَلَا یُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یُنظَرُونَ

اور جب ظالم عذاب دیکھیں گے پھر نہ ان سے ہلکا کیا جائے گا اورنہ انہیں مہلت دی جائے گی

And when those who wronged see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

Wa izaa ra al lazeena zalamul 'azaaba falaa yukhaf fafu 'anhum wa laa hum yunzaroon

وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِینَ أَشۡرَكُوا۟ شُرَكَاۤءَهُمۡ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ شُرَكَاۤؤُنَا ٱلَّذِینَ كُنَّا نَدۡعُوا۟ مِن دُونِكَۖ فَأَلۡقَوۡا۟ إِلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ إِنَّكُمۡ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ

اور جب مشرک اپنے شریکوں کو دیکھیں گے تو کہیں گے اے ہمارے رب! یہی ہمارے شریک ہیں جنہیں ہم تیرے سوا پکارتے تھے پھر وہ انہیں جواب دیں گے کہ تم سراسر جھوٹے ہو

And when those who associated others with Allah see their "partners," they will say," Our Lord, these are our partners [to You] whom we used to invoke besides You." But they will throw at them the statement, "Indeed, you are liars."

Wa izaa ra al lazeena ashrakoo shurakaaa'ahum qaaloo Rabbana haaa'ulaaa'i shurakaaa'unal lazeena kunnaa nad'oo min doonika fa alqaw ilaihimul qawla innakum lakaaziboon

وَأَلۡقَوۡا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ ٱلسَّلَمَۖ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یَفۡتَرُونَ

اور وہ اس دن الله کے سامنے سر جھکا دیں گے اور بھول جائیں گے وہ جو جھوٹ بناتے تھے

And they will impart to Allah that Day [their] submission, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

Wa alqaw ilal laahi yawma'izinis salama wa dalla 'anhum maa kaanoo yaftaroon

ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ زِدۡنَـٰهُمۡ عَذَابࣰا فَوۡقَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یُفۡسِدُونَ

جو لوگ منکر ہوئے اور الله کی راہ سے روکتے رہے ہم ان پر عذاب پر عذاب بڑھاتے جائیں گے بسبب اس کے کہ وہ فساد کرتے تھے

Those who disbelieved and averted [others] from the way of Allah - We will increase them in punishment over [their] punishment for what corruption they were causing.

Allazeena kafaroo wa saddoo 'an sabeelil laahi zidnaahum 'azaaban fawqal 'azaabi bimaa kaanoo yufsidoon

وَیَوۡمَ نَبۡعَثُ فِی كُلِّ أُمَّةࣲ شَهِیدًا عَلَیۡهِم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ وَجِئۡنَا بِكَ شَهِیدًا عَلَىٰ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِۚ وَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ تِبۡیَـٰنࣰا لِّكُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَهُدࣰى وَرَحۡمَةࣰ وَبُشۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ

اور جس دن ہر ایک گروہ میں سے ان پر انہیں میں سے ایک گواہ کھڑا کریں گے اور تجھے ان پر گواہ بنائیں گے اور ہم نے تجھ پر ایک ایسی کتاب نازل کی ہے جس میں ہر چیز کا کافی بیان ہے اور وہ مسلمانوں کے لیے ہدات اور رحمت اور خوشخبری ہے

And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Muhammad], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.

Wa yawma nab'asu fee kulli ummmatin shaheedan 'alaihim min anfusihim wa ji'naa bika shaheedan 'alaa haaa'ulaaa'; wa nazzalnaa 'alaikal Kitaaba tibyaanal likulli shai'inw wa hudanw wa rahmatanw wa bushraa lilmuslimeen

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنِ وَإِیتَاۤىِٕ ذِی ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَیَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَاۤءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱلۡبَغۡیِۚ یَعِظُكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

بے شک الله انصاف کرنے کا اوربھلائی کرنے کا اور رشتہ داروں کو دینے کا حکم کرتا ہے اوربے حیائی اوربری بات اور ظلم سے منع کرتا ہے تمہیں سمجھاتا ہے تاکہ تم سمجھو

Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.

Innal laaha yaamaru bil 'adli wal ihsaani wa eetaaa'i zil qurbaa wa yanhaa 'anil fahshaaa'i wal munkari walbagh-i' ya'izukum la'allakum tazakkkaroon

وَأَوۡفُوا۟ بِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا عَـٰهَدتُّمۡ وَلَا تَنقُضُوا۟ ٱلۡأَیۡمَـٰنَ بَعۡدَ تَوۡكِیدِهَا وَقَدۡ جَعَلۡتُمُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ كَفِیلًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ

اور الله کا عہد پورا کرو جب آپس میں عہد کرو اور قسموں کو پکاکرنے کے بعد نہ توڑو حالانکہ تم نے الله کو اپنے اوپر گواہ بنا یا ہے بے شک الله جانتا ہے جو تم کرتے ہو

And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have taken it, [O believers], and do not break oaths after their confirmation while you have made Allah, over you, a witness. Indeed, Allah knows what you do.

Wa awfoo bi Ahdil laahi izaa 'aahattum wa laa tanqudul aimaana ba'da tawkeedihaa wa qad ja'altumul laaha 'alaikum kafeelaa; innal laaha ya'lamu maa taf'aloon

وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّتِی نَقَضَتۡ غَزۡلَهَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّةٍ أَنكَـٰثࣰا تَتَّخِذُونَ أَیۡمَـٰنَكُمۡ دَخَلَۢا بَیۡنَكُمۡ أَن تَكُونَ أُمَّةٌ هِیَ أَرۡبَىٰ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍۚ إِنَّمَا یَبۡلُوكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦۚ وَلَیُبَیِّنَنَّ لَكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ مَا كُنتُمۡ فِیهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ

اور اس عورت جیسے نہ بنو جواپنا سوت محنت کے بعد کاٹ کر توڑ ڈالے کہ تم اپنی قسموں کو آپس میں فساد کا ذریعہ بنانے لگو محض اس لیے کہ ایک گروہ دوسرے گروہ سے بڑھ جائے الله اس میں تمہاری آزمائش کرتا ہے اور جس چیز میں تم اختلاف کرتے ہو الله اسے ضرور قیامت کے دن ظاہر کردے گا

And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ.

Wa laa takoonoo kallatee naqadat ghazlahaa mim ba'di quwwatin ankaasaa; tattakhizoona aimaanakum dakhlalam bainakum an takoona ummatun hiya arbaa min ummah; innnamaa yablookumul laahu bih; wa la yubaiyinanna lakum yawmal Qiyaamati maa kuntum fee takhtalifoon

وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمۡ أُمَّةࣰ وَ ٰ⁠حِدَةࣰ وَلَـٰكِن یُضِلُّ مَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَلَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

اور اگر الله چاہتا تو تم سب کو ایک ہی جماعت بنا دیتا اورلیکن وہ جسے چاہتا ہے گمراہی میں پڑا رہنے دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتاہے ہدایت دیتا ہے اور البتہ تم سے پوچھا جائے گا کہ کیا کرتےتھے

And if Allah had willed, He could have made you [of] one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.

Wa law shaaa'al laahu laja'alakum ummmatanw waahidatanw wa laakiny yudillu many-yashaaa'u wa yahdee many-yashaaa'; wa latus'alunna 'ammaa kuntum ta'maloon

وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوۤا۟ أَیۡمَـٰنَكُمۡ دَخَلَۢا بَیۡنَكُمۡ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمُۢ بَعۡدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلسُّوۤءَ بِمَا صَدَدتُّمۡ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَكُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِیمࣱ

اور تم اپنی قسموں کو آپس میں فساد کا ذریعہ نہ بناؤ کبھی قدم جمنے کے بعد پھسل نہ جائے پھر تمہیں اس سبب سے کہ تم نے راہِ خدا سے روکا تکلیف اٹھانی پڑے اور تمہیں بڑا عذاب ہو

And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment.

Wa laa tattakhizooo aimaanakum dakhalam bainakum ftazilla qadamum ba'da subootihaa wa tazooqus sooo'a bimmaa sadattum 'an sabeelil laahi wa lakum 'azaabun 'azeem

وَلَا تَشۡتَرُوا۟ بِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنࣰا قَلِیلًاۚ إِنَّمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَیۡرࣱ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

اور الله سے عہد کو تھوڑے سے داموں پر نہ بیچو جو کچھ الله کے ہاں ہے وہی تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے اگر تم جانتے ہو

And do not exchange the covenant of Allah for a small price. Indeed, what is with Allah is best for you, if only you could know.

Wa laa tashtaroo bi 'ahdil laahi samanan qaleelaa; innamaa 'indal laahi huwa khairul lakum in kuntum ta'lamoon

مَا عِندَكُمۡ یَنفَدُ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ بَاقࣲۗ وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ صَبَرُوۤا۟ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ

جو تمہارے پاس ہے ختم ہو جائے گا اور جو الله کے پاس ہے کبھی ختم نہ ہوگا اور ہم صبر کرنے والوں کو ان کے اچھے کاموں کا جو کرتے تھے ضرور بدلہ دیں گے

Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do.

maa 'indakum yanfadu wa maa 'indal laahi baaq; wa lanajziyannal lazeena sabarooo ajjrahum bi ahsani maa kaanoo ya'maloon

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنࣱ فَلَنُحۡیِیَنَّهُۥ حَیَوٰةࣰ طَیِّبَةࣰۖ وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ

جس نے نیک کام کیا مرد ہو یا عورت اور وہ ایمان بھی رکھتا ہے تو ہم اسے ضروراچھی زندگی بسر کرائیں گے اور ان کا حق انہیں بدلےمیں دیں گے انکےاچھے کاموں کے عوض میں جو کرتے تھے

Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.

Man 'amila saaliham min zakarin aw unsaa wa huwa mu'minun falanuhyiyannahoo hayaatan taiiyibatanw wa lanajzi yannnahum ajrahum bi ahsani maa kaanoo ya'maloon

فَإِذَا قَرَأۡتَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ ٱلرَّجِیمِ

سو جب تو قرآن پڑھنے لگے تو شیطان مردود سے الله کی پناہ لے

So when you recite the Qur'an, [first] seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy].

Fa izaa qara tal Quraana fasta'iz billaahi minashh Shai taanir rajeem

إِنَّهُۥ لَیۡسَ لَهُۥ سُلۡطَـٰنٌ عَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ یَتَوَكَّلُونَ

اس کا زور ان پرنہیں چلتا جو ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور اپنے رب پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں

Indeed, there is for him no authority over those who have believed and rely upon their Lord.

Innahoo laisa lahoo sultaanun 'alal lazeena aamanoo wa 'alaa Rabbihim yatawakkaloon

إِنَّمَا سُلۡطَـٰنُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ یَتَوَلَّوۡنَهُۥ وَٱلَّذِینَ هُم بِهِۦ مُشۡرِكُونَ

اس کا زور تو انہیں پر ہے جو اسے دوست بناتے ہیں اور جو الله کے ساتھ شریک مانتے ہیں

His authority is only over those who take him as an ally and those who through him associate others with Allah.

Innnamaa sultaanuhoo 'alal lazeena yatawallawnahoo wallazeena hum bihee mushrikoon

وَإِذَا بَدَّلۡنَاۤ ءَایَةࣰ مَّكَانَ ءَایَةࣲ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یُنَزِّلُ قَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّمَاۤ أَنتَ مُفۡتَرِۭۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ

اورجب ہم ایک آیت کی جگہ دوسری بدلتے ہیں اور الله خوب جانتا ہے جو اتارتا ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ تو بنا لاتا ہے یہ بات نہیں لیکن اکثر ان میں سے نہیں سمجھتے

And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know.

Wa izaa baddalnaaa Aayatam makaana Aayatinw wal laahu a'lamu bimaa yunazzilu qaalooo innamaa anta muftar; bal aksaruhum laa ya'lamoon

قُلۡ نَزَّلَهُۥ رُوحُ ٱلۡقُدُسِ مِن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِیُثَبِّتَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهُدࣰى وَبُشۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ

تو کہہ دے اسےتیرے رب کی طرف سے پاک فرشتے نے سچائی کے ساتھ اتارا ہے تاکہ ایمان والوں کے دل جما دے اور فرمانبرداروں کے لیے ہدایت اور خوشخبری ہے

Say, [O Muhammad], "The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims."

Qul nazzalahoo Roohul Qudusi mir Rabbika bilhaqqi liyusabbital lazeena aamanoo wa hudanw wa bushraa lilmuslimeen

وَلَقَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ أَنَّهُمۡ یَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا یُعَلِّمُهُۥ بَشَرࣱۗ لِّسَانُ ٱلَّذِی یُلۡحِدُونَ إِلَیۡهِ أَعۡجَمِیࣱّ وَهَـٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِیࣱّ مُّبِینٌ

اور ہمیں خوب معلوم ہے کہ وہ کہتے ہیں اسے تو ایک آدمی سکھاتا ہے حالانکہ جس کی طرف نسبت کرتے ہیں اس کی زبان عجمی ہے اور یہ صاف عربی زبان ہے

And We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur'an is [in] a clear Arabic language.

Wa laqad na'lamu annahum yaqooloona innamaa yu'allimuhoo bashar; lisaanul lazee yulhidoona ilaihi a'ja miyyunw wa haaza lisaanun 'Arabiyyum mubeen

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ لَا یَهۡدِیهِمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمٌ

وہ لوگ جنہیں الله کی باتوں پر یقین نہیں الله بھی انہیں ہدایت نہیں دیتا اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے

Indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of Allah - Allah will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment.

Innal lazeena laa yu'minoona bi Aayaatil laahi laa yahdehimul laahu wa lahum 'azaabun aleem

إِنَّمَا یَفۡتَرِی ٱلۡكَذِبَ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰذِبُونَ

جھوٹ تو وہ لوگ بناتے ہیں جنہیں الله کی باتوں پر یقین نہیں اور وہی لوگ جھوٹے ہیں

They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is those who are the liars.

Innamaa yaftaril kazibal lazeena laa yu'minoona bi Aayaatil laahi wa ulaaa'ika humul kaaziboon

مَن كَفَرَ بِٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ إِیمَـٰنِهِۦۤ إِلَّا مَنۡ أُكۡرِهَ وَقَلۡبُهُۥ مُطۡمَىِٕنُّۢ بِٱلۡإِیمَـٰنِ وَلَـٰكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِٱلۡكُفۡرِ صَدۡرࣰا فَعَلَیۡهِمۡ غَضَبࣱ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِیمࣱ

جو کوئی ایمان لانے کے بعد الله سے منکر ہوا مگر وہ جو مجبور کیا گیا ہو اور اس کا دل ایمان پر مطمئن ہو اور لیکن وہ جو دل کھول کر منکر ہوا تو ان پر الله کا غضب ہے اور ان کے لیے بہت بڑا عذاب ہے

Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief... except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith. But those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment;

man kafara billaahi mim ba'di eemaanihee illaa man ukriha wa qalbuhoo mutmma'innum bil eemaani wa laakim man sharaha bilkufri sadran fa'alaihim ghadabum minal laahi wa lahum 'azaabun 'azeem

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱسۡتَحَبُّوا۟ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا عَلَى ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَهۡدِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ

یہ اس لیے کہ انہوں نے دنیا کی زندگی کو آخرت پر محبوب بنایا اور نیز اس لیے کہ الله کافروں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا

That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.

Zaalika bi annahumus tahabbul hayaatad dunyaa 'alal Aakhirati wa annal laaha laa yahdil qawmal kaafireen

أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَسَمۡعِهِمۡ وَأَبۡصَـٰرِهِمۡۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡغَـٰفِلُونَ

یہ وہی ہیں کہ الله نے ان کے دلوں پر اورکانوں پر اور آنکھوں پر مہر کر دی اور وہی غافل بھی ہیں

Those are the ones over whose hearts and hearing and vision Allah has sealed, and it is those who are the heedless.

Ulaaa'ikal lazeena taba'al laahu 'alaa quloobihim wa sam'ihim wa absaarihim wa ulaaa'ika humul ghaafiloon

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرُونَ

ضرور وہی لوگ آخرت میں نقصان اٹھانے والے ہیں

Assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers.

Laa jarama annnahum fil Aakhirati humul khassiroon

ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِینَ هَاجَرُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا فُتِنُوا۟ ثُمَّ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ وَصَبَرُوۤا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ

پھر بے شک تیرا رب ان کے لئے جنہوں نےمصیبت میں پڑنے کے بعد ہجرت کی پھر جہاد کیا اور صبر کیا بے شک تیرارب ان باتو ں کے بعد بحشنے والا مہربان ہے

Then, indeed your Lord, to those who emigrated after they had been compelled [to renounce their religion] and thereafter fought [for the cause of Allah] and were patient - indeed, your Lord, after that, is Forgiving and Merciful

Summa inna Rabbaka lillazeena haajaroo mim ba'dimaa futinoo summma jaahadoo wa sabaroo inna Rabbaka mim ba'dihaa la Ghafoorur Raheem

۞ یَوۡمَ تَأۡتِی كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ تُجَـٰدِلُ عَن نَّفۡسِهَا وَتُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ مَّا عَمِلَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُونَ

ٰجس دن ہر شخص اپنے ہی لیے جھگڑتا ہو آئے گا اور ہر شخص کو اس کے عمل کا پورا بدلہ دیا جائے گا اوران پر کچھ بھی ظلم نہ ہوگا

On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged.

Yawma taatee kullu nafsin tujaadilu 'an nafsihaa wa tuwaffaa kullu nafsim maa 'amilat wa hum laa yuzlamoon

وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلࣰا قَرۡیَةࣰ كَانَتۡ ءَامِنَةࣰ مُّطۡمَىِٕنَّةࣰ یَأۡتِیهَا رِزۡقُهَا رَغَدࣰا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانࣲ فَكَفَرَتۡ بِأَنۡعُمِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَذَ ٰ⁠قَهَا ٱللَّهُ لِبَاسَ ٱلۡجُوعِ وَٱلۡخَوۡفِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَصۡنَعُونَ

اور الله ایک ایسی بستی کی مثال بیان فرماتا ہے جہاں ہر طرح کا امن چین تھا اس کی روزی بافراغت ہر جگہ سے چلی آتی تھی پھر الله کےاحسانوں کی ناشکری کی پھر الله نے ان کے برے کاموں کے سبب سے جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے یہ مزہ چکھایا کہ ان پر فاقہ اور خوف چھا گیا

And Allah presents an example: a city which was safe and secure, its provision coming to it in abundance from every location, but it denied the favors of Allah. So Allah made it taste the envelopment of hunger and fear for what they had been doing.

Wa darabal laahu masalan qaryatan kaanat aaminatam mutma'innatany yaaateehaa rizquhaa rghadam min kulli makaanin fakafarat bi an'umil laahi fa azaaqahal laahu libaasal joo'i walkhawfi bimaa kaanoo yasna'oon

وَلَقَدۡ جَاۤءَهُمۡ رَسُولࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ وَهُمۡ ظَـٰلِمُونَ

اور البتہ ان کے پاس انہیں میں سے رسول بھی آیا مگر انہوں نے اسے جھٹلایا پھر انہیں عذاب نے آ پکڑا ایسے حال میں کہ وہ ظالم تھے

And there had certainly come to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him; so punishment overtook them while they were wrongdoers.

Wa laqad jaaa'ahum Rasoolum minhum fakazzaboohu fa akhazahumul 'azaabu wa hum zaalimoon

فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ حَلَـٰلࣰا طَیِّبࣰا وَٱشۡكُرُوا۟ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ إِیَّاهُ تَعۡبُدُونَ

پھر تمہیں جو الله نے حلال طیب روزی دی ہے کھاؤ اور الله کے احسان کا شکر کرو اگر تم صرف اسی کو پوجتے ہو

Then eat of what Allah has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And be grateful for the favor of Allah, if it is [indeed] Him that you worship.

Fakuloo mimmaa razaqa kumul laahu halaalan taiyibanw washkuroo ni'matal laahi in kuntum iyyaahu ta'budoon

إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَیۡكُمُ ٱلۡمَیۡتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحۡمَ ٱلۡخِنزِیرِ وَمَاۤ أُهِلَّ لِغَیۡرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦۖ فَمَنِ ٱضۡطُرَّ غَیۡرَ بَاغࣲ وَلَا عَادࣲ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ

تم پر صرف مردار اور خون اور سور کا گوشت حرام کیا ہے اوروہ چیز بھی جو الله کے سوا کسی اور کے نام سے پکاری گئی ہو پھر جوبھوک کے مارے بیتاب ہو جائے نہ وہ باغی ہو اورنہ حد سے گزرنے والا توالله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Innamaa harrma 'alai kumul maitata waddama wa lahmal khinzeeri wa maaa uhilla lighairil laahi bihee famanid turra ghaira baaghinw wa laa 'aadin fa innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem

وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلۡسِنَتُكُمُ ٱلۡكَذِبَ هَـٰذَا حَلَـٰلࣱ وَهَـٰذَا حَرَامࣱ لِّتَفۡتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَفۡتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ لَا یُفۡلِحُونَ

اور اپنی زبانوں سے جھوٹ بنا کر نہ کہو کہ یہ حلا ل ہے اوریہ حرا م ہے تاکہ الله پر بہتان باندھو بے شک جو الله پر بہتان باندھتے ہیں انکا بھلانہ ہوگا

And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah. Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed.

Wa laa taqooloo limaa tasifu alsinatukumul kaziba haaza halaalunw wa haazaa haraamul litaftaroo 'alal laahil kazib; innal lazeena yaftaroona 'alal laahil kaziba laa yuflihoon

مَتَـٰعࣱ قَلِیلࣱ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ

تھوڑا سا فائدہ اٹھا لیں اوران کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے

[It is but] a brief enjoyment, and they will have a painful punishment.

Mata'un qaleelunw wa lahum 'azaabun aleem

وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ هَادُوا۟ حَرَّمۡنَا مَا قَصَصۡنَا عَلَیۡكَ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَمَا ظَلَمۡنَـٰهُمۡ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ یَظۡلِمُونَ

اورجو لوگ یہودی ہیں ہم نے ان پر حرا م کی جو تجھے پہلے سنا چکے ہیں اورہم نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا لیکن وہ اپنے اوپر آپ ظلم کرتے تھے

And to those who are Jews We have prohibited that which We related to you before. And We did not wrong them [thereby], but they were wronging themselves.

Wa 'alal lazeena haadoo harramnaa ma qasasnaa 'alaika min qablu wa maa zalamanaahum wa laakin kaanoo anfusahum wa laakin kaanoo anfusahum yazlimoon

ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِینَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسُّوۤءَ بِجَهَـٰلَةࣲ ثُمَّ تَابُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ وَأَصۡلَحُوۤا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمٌ

پھر تیرا رب ان کے لیے جو جہالت سے برے کام کرتے رہے پھر اس کے بعد انہوں نے توبہ کر لی اور سدھر گئے بے شک تیرا رب اس کے بعد البتہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

Then, indeed your Lord, to those who have done wrong out of ignorance and then repent after that and correct themselves - indeed, your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.

Summma inna Rabbaka lillazeena 'amilus sooo'a bijahaalatin summa taaboo mim ba'di zaaalika wa aslahoo inna Rabbaka mim ba'dihaa la Ghafoorur Raheem

إِنَّ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ كَانَ أُمَّةࣰ قَانِتࣰا لِّلَّهِ حَنِیفࣰا وَلَمۡ یَكُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ

بے شک ابراہیم ایک پوری امت تھا الله کا فرمانبردار تمام راہوں سے ہٹا ہوا اور مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھا

Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah.

Inna Ibraaheema kaana ummatan qaanital lillaahi Haneefanw wa lam yakuminal mushrikeen

شَاكِرࣰا لِّأَنۡعُمِهِۚ ٱجۡتَبَىٰهُ وَهَدَىٰهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰ⁠طࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ

اس کی نعمتوں کا شکر کرنے والا اسے الله نے چن لیا اور اسے سیدھی راہ پر چلایا

[He was] grateful for His favors. Allah chose him and guided him to a straight path.

Shaakiral li an'umih; ijtabaahu wa hadaahu ilaa Siraatim Muustaqeem

وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُ فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَةࣰۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِی ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَ

اور ہم نے اسے دنیا میں بھی خوبی دی تھی اور وہ آخرت میں بھی اچھے لوگو ں میں ہو گا

And We gave him good in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.

Wa aatainaahu fid dunyaa hasanah; wa innahoo fil Aakhirati laminas saaliheen

ثُمَّ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ أَنِ ٱتَّبِعۡ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ حَنِیفࣰاۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ

پھر ہم نے تیرے پاس وحی بھیجی کہ تمام راہوں سے ہٹنے والے ابراہیم کے دین پر چل اور وہ مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھا

Then We revealed to you, [O Muhammad], to follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of those who associate with Allah.

Summma awhainaa ilaika anit tabi' Millata Ibraaheema haneefaa; wa maa kaana minal mushrikeen

إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ ٱلسَّبۡتُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ ٱخۡتَلَفُوا۟ فِیهِۚ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَیَحۡكُمُ بَیۡنَهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ فِیمَا كَانُوا۟ فِیهِ یَخۡتَلِفُونَ

ہفتہ کا دن انہی پر مقرر کیا گیا تھا جو اس میں اختلاف کرتےتھے او رتیرا رب ان میں قیامت کےدن فیصلہ کرے گا جس میں وہ اختلاف کرتے تھے

The sabbath was only appointed for those who differed over it. And indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

Innnamaa ju'ilas Sabtu 'alal lazeenakhtalafoo feeh; wa inna Rabbaka la yahkumu bainahum Yawmal Qiyaamati feemaa kaanoo feehi yakhtalifoon

ٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِیلِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَٱلۡمَوۡعِظَةِ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِۖ وَجَـٰدِلۡهُم بِٱلَّتِی هِیَ أَحۡسَنُۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِیلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِینَ

اپنے رب کے راستے کی طرف دانشمندی اور عمدہ نصیحت سے بلا اور ان سے پسندیدہ طریقہ سے بحث کر بے شک تیرا رب خوب جانتا ہے کہ کون اس کے راستہ سے بھٹکا ہوا ہے اور ہدایت یافتہ کو بھی خوب جانتا ہے

Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.

Ud'u ilaa sabeeli Rabbika bilhikmati walmaw 'izatil hasanati wa jaadilhum billatee hiya ahsan; inna Rabbaka huwa a'almu biman dalla 'an sabeelihee wa Huwa a'lamu bilmuhtadeen

وَإِنۡ عَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَعَاقِبُوا۟ بِمِثۡلِ مَا عُوقِبۡتُم بِهِۦۖ وَلَىِٕن صَبَرۡتُمۡ لَهُوَ خَیۡرࣱ لِّلصَّـٰبِرِینَ

اور اگر بدلہ لو تو اتنا بدلہ لو جتنی تمہیں تکلیف پہنچائی گئی ہے اور اگر صبر کرو تو یہ صبر کرنے والوں کے لیے بہتر ہے

And if you punish [an enemy, O believers], punish with an equivalent of that with which you were harmed. But if you are patient - it is better for those who are patient.

Wa in 'aaqabtum fa'aaqiboo bimisli maa 'ooqibtum bihee wa la'in sabartum lahuwa khairul lissaabireen

وَٱصۡبِرۡ وَمَا صَبۡرُكَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِۚ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَا تَكُ فِی ضَیۡقࣲ مِّمَّا یَمۡكُرُونَ

اورصبر کر اور تیرا صبر کرنا الله ہی کی توفیق سے ہے اور ان پر غم نہ کھا اور ان کے مکروں سے تنگ دل نہ ہو

And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.

Wasbir wa maa sabruka illaa billaah; wa laa tahzan 'alaihim wa laa taku fee daiqim mimmaa yamkuroon

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّٱلَّذِینَ هُم مُّحۡسِنُونَ

بے شک الله ان کے ساتھ ہے جو پرہیزگار ہیں اور جو نیکی کرتے ہیں

Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good.

Innal laaha ma'al lazeenat taqaw wal lazeena hum muhsinoon
