Ha, Meem.

Haa-Meeem

تَنزِیلُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡعَلِیمِ

یہ کتاب الله کی طرف سے نازل ہوئی ہے جو غالب ہر چیز کا جاننے والا ہے

The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

Tanzeelul Kitaabi minal laahil Azeezil 'Aleem

غَافِرِ ٱلذَّنۢبِ وَقَابِلِ ٱلتَّوۡبِ شَدِیدِ ٱلۡعِقَابِ ذِی ٱلطَّوۡلِۖ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ إِلَیۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ

گناہ بخشنے والا اور توبہ قبول کرنے والا سخت عذاب دینے والا قدرت والا ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے

The forgiver of sin, acceptor of repentance, severe in punishment, owner of abundance. There is no deity except Him; to Him is the destination.

Ghaafiriz zambi wa qaabilit tawbi shadeedil 'iqaabi zit tawli laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa ilaihil maseer

مَا یُجَـٰدِلُ فِیۤ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَلَا یَغۡرُرۡكَ تَقَلُّبُهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ

الله کی آیتوں میں نہیں جھگڑتے مگر وہ لوگ جو کافر ہیں پس ان کا شہرو ں میں چلنا پھرنا آپ کو دھوکا نہ دے

No one disputes concerning the signs of Allah except those who disbelieve, so be not deceived by their [uninhibited] movement throughout the land.

Maa yujaadilu feee Aayaatil laahi illal lazeena kafaroo falaa yaghrurka taqallubuhum fil bilaad

كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحࣲ وَٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۖ وَهَمَّتۡ كُلُّ أُمَّةِۭ بِرَسُولِهِمۡ لِیَأۡخُذُوهُۖ وَجَـٰدَلُوا۟ بِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ لِیُدۡحِضُوا۟ بِهِ ٱلۡحَقَّ فَأَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ فَكَیۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ

ان سے پہلے قوم نوح اور ان کے بعد اور فرقے بھی جھٹلا چکے ہیں اور ہر ایک امت نے اپنے رسول کو پکڑنے کا ارادہ کیا اور غلط باتوں کے ساتھ بحث کرتے رہے تاکہ اس سے دین حق کو مٹا دیں پھر ہم نے انھیں پکڑ لیا پھر کیسی سزا ہوئی

The people of Noah denied before them and the [disbelieving] factions after them, and every nation intended [a plot] for their messenger to seize him, and they disputed by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth. So I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty.

Kazzabat qablahum qawmu Noohinw wal Ahzaabu mim ba'dihim wa hammat kullu ummatim bi Rasoolihim liyaa khuzoobhu wa jaadaloo bilbaatili liyudhidoo bihil haqqa fa akhaztuhum fakifa kaana 'iqaab

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ حَقَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ أَنَّهُمۡ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ

اور اسی طرح منکروں پر الله کا کلام پورا ہوا کہ وہ دوزخی ہیں

And thus has the word of your Lord come into effect upon those who disbelieved that they are companions of the Fire.

Wa kazaalika haqqat Kalimatu Rabbika 'alal lazeena kafarooo annahum Ashaabun Naar

ٱلَّذِینَ یَحۡمِلُونَ ٱلۡعَرۡشَ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهُۥ یُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَیُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَیَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ لِلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ۖ رَبَّنَا وَسِعۡتَ كُلَّ شَیۡءࣲ رَّحۡمَةࣰ وَعِلۡمࣰا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لِلَّذِینَ تَابُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ سَبِیلَكَ وَقِهِمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ

جو (فرشتے) عرش کو اٹھائے ہوئے ہیں اور جو اس کے گرد ہیں وہ اپنے رب کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح کرتے رہتے ہیں اور اس پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور ایمانداروں کے لیے بخشش مانگتے ہیں کہ اے ہمارے رب تیری رحمت اور تیرا علم سب پر حاوی ہے پھر جن لوگو ں نے توبہ کی ہے اور تیرے راستے پر چلتے ہیں انہیں بخش دے اور انہیں دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچا لے

Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.

Allazeena yahmiloonal 'Arsha wa man hawlahoo yusabbihoona bihamdi Rabbihim wa yu'minoona bihee wa yastaghfiroona lillazeena aamanoo Rabbanaa wasi'ta kulla shai'ir rahmantanw wa 'ilman faghfir lillazeena taaboo wattaba'oo sabeelaka wa qihim 'azaabal Jaheem

رَبَّنَا وَأَدۡخِلۡهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٍ ٱلَّتِی وَعَدتَّهُمۡ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنۡ ءَابَاۤىِٕهِمۡ وَأَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جِهِمۡ وَذُرِّیَّـٰتِهِمۡۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ

اے ہمارے رب اور انہیں بہشتوں میں داخل کر جو ہمیشہ رہیں گی جن کا تو نے ان سے وعدہ کیا ہے اور ان کو جو ان کے باپ دادوں اوران کی بیویوں اوران کی اولاد میں سے نیک ہیں بے شک تو غالب حکمت والا ہے

Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Rabbannaa wa adkhilhum Jannaati 'adninil latee wa'attahum wa man salaha min aabaaa'ihim wa azwaajihim wa zurriyyaatihim; innaka Antal 'Azeezul Hakeem

وَقِهِمُ ٱلسَّیِّـَٔاتِۚ وَمَن تَقِ ٱلسَّیِّـَٔاتِ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ فَقَدۡ رَحِمۡتَهُۥۚ وَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ

اور انہیں برائیوں سے بچا اور جس کو تو اس دن برائیوں سے بچائے گا سو اس پر تو نے رحم کر دیا اور یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے

And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day - You will have given him mercy. And that is the great attainment."

Wa qihimus saiyi-aat; wa man taqis saiyi-aati Yawma'izin faqad rahimtah; wa zaalika huwal fawzul 'azeem

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ یُنَادَوۡنَ لَمَقۡتُ ٱللَّهِ أَكۡبَرُ مِن مَّقۡتِكُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡ إِذۡ تُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِیمَـٰنِ فَتَكۡفُرُونَ

بے شک جو لوگ کافر ہیں انہیں پکار کر کہا جائے گا جیسی تمہیں (اس وقت) اپنے سے نفرت ہے اس سے بڑھ کر الله کو (تم سے) نفرت تھی جبکہ تم ایمان کی طرف بلائے جاتے تھے پھر نہیں مانا کرتے تھے

Indeed, those who disbelieve will be addressed, "The hatred of Allah for you was [even] greater than your hatred of yourselves [this Day in Hell] when you were invited to faith, but you refused."

Innal lazeena kafaroo yunaadawna lamaqtul laahi akbaru mim maqtikum anfusakum iz tud'awna ilal eemaani fatakfuroon

قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَاۤ أَمَتَّنَا ٱثۡنَتَیۡنِ وَأَحۡیَیۡتَنَا ٱثۡنَتَیۡنِ فَٱعۡتَرَفۡنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا فَهَلۡ إِلَىٰ خُرُوجࣲ مِّن سَبِیلࣲ

وہ کہیں گے اے ہمارے رب تو نے ہمیں دو بار موت دی اورتو نے ہمیں دوبارہ زندہ کیا پس ہم نے اپنے گناہوں کا اقرار کر لیا پس کیا نکلنے کی بھی کوئی راہ ہے

They will say, "Our Lord, You made us lifeless twice and gave us life twice, and we have confessed our sins. So is there to an exit any way?"

Qaaloo Rabbanaaa amat tanasnataini wa ahyaitanas nataini fa'tarafnaa bizunoo binaa fahal ilaa khuroojim min sabeel

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُم بِأَنَّهُۥۤ إِذَا دُعِیَ ٱللَّهُ وَحۡدَهُۥ كَفَرۡتُمۡ وَإِن یُشۡرَكۡ بِهِۦ تُؤۡمِنُوا۟ۚ فَٱلۡحُكۡمُ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡعَلِیِّ ٱلۡكَبِیرِ

یہ عذاب اس لیے ہے کہ جب تم اکیلے الله کی طرف بلایا جاتا تھا تو انکار کرتے تھے اورجب اس کے ساتھ شریک کیا جاتا تھا تو مان لیتے تھے سو یہ فیصلہ الله کا ہے جو عالیشان بڑے رتبے والا ہے

[They will be told], "That is because, when Allah was called upon alone, you disbelieved; but if others were associated with Him, you believed. So the judgement is with Allah, the Most High, the Grand."

Zaalikum bi annahooo izaa du'iyal laahu wahdahoo kafartum wa iny yushrak bihee tu'minoo; falhukmu lillaahil 'Aliyyil Kabeer

هُوَ ٱلَّذِی یُرِیكُمۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ وَیُنَزِّلُ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ رِزۡقࣰاۚ وَمَا یَتَذَكَّرُ إِلَّا مَن یُنِیبُ

وہی ہے جو تمہیں اپنی نشانیاں دکھاتا ہے اور تمہارے لیے آسمان سے رزق نازل کرتا ہے اور سمجھتا وہی ہے جو (الله کی طرف) رجوع کرتا ہے

It is He who shows you His signs and sends down to you from the sky, provision. But none will remember except he who turns back [in repentance].

Huwal lazee yureekum Aayaatihee wa yunazzilu lakum minas samaaa'i rizqaa; wa maa tatazakkaru illaa mai yuneeb

فَٱدۡعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِینَ لَهُ ٱلدِّینَ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ

پس الله کو پکارو اس کے لیے عبادت کو خالص کرتے ہوئے اگرچہ کافر برا منائیں

So invoke Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, although the disbelievers dislike it.

Fad'ul laaha mukhliseena lahud deena wa law karihal kaafiroon

رَفِیعُ ٱلدَّرَجَـٰتِ ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ یُلۡقِی ٱلرُّوحَ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن یَشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ لِیُنذِرَ یَوۡمَ ٱلتَّلَاقِ

وہ اونچے درجوں والا عرش کا مالک ہے اپنے حکم سے اپنےبندوں میں سے جس کے پاس چاہتا ہے وحی بھیجتا ہے تاکہ وہ ملاقات (قیامت) کے دن سے ڈرائے

[He is] the Exalted above [all] degrees, Owner of the Throne; He places the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His servants to warn of the Day of Meeting.

Rafee'ud darajaati zul 'Arshi yulqir rooha min amrihee 'alaa mai yashaaa'u min 'ibaadihee liyunzira yawmat talaaq

یَوۡمَ هُم بَـٰرِزُونَۖ لَا یَخۡفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِنۡهُمۡ شَیۡءࣱۚ لِّمَنِ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَۖ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠حِدِ ٱلۡقَهَّارِ

جس دن وہ سب نکل کھڑے ہوں گے الله پر ان کی کوئی بات چھپی نہ رہے گی آج کس کی حکومت ہے الله ہی کی جو ایک ہے بڑا غالب

The Day they come forth nothing concerning them will be concealed from Allah. To whom belongs [all] sovereignty this Day? To Allah, the One, the Prevailing.

Yawma hum baarizoona laa yakhfaa 'alal laahi minhum shai; limanil mulkul Yawma lillaahil Waahidil Qahaar

ٱلۡیَوۡمَ تُجۡزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡۚ لَا ظُلۡمَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِیعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

آج کے دن ہر شخص اپنے کیے کا بدلہ پائے گا آج کچھ ظلم نہ ہوگا بے شک الله جلد حساب لینے والا ہے

This Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today! Indeed, Allah is swift in account.

Al-Yawma tujzaa kullu nafsim bimaa kasabat; laa zulmal Yawm; innal laaha saree'ul hisaab

وَأَنذِرۡهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡـَٔازِفَةِ إِذِ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ لَدَى ٱلۡحَنَاجِرِ كَـٰظِمِینَۚ مَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِینَ مِنۡ حَمِیمࣲ وَلَا شَفِیعࣲ یُطَاعُ

اور انہیں قریب آنے والی (مصیبت) کے دن سے ڈرا جب کہ غم کے مارے کلیجے منہ کو آ رہے ہوں گے ظالموں کا کوئی حمایتی نہیں ہوگا اور نہ کوئی سفارشی جس کی بات مانی جائے

And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Approaching Day, when hearts are at the throats, filled [with distress]. For the wrongdoers there will be no devoted friend and no intercessor [who is] obeyed.

Wa anzirhum yawmal aazifati izil quloobu ladal hanaajiri kaazimeen; maa lizzaalimeena min hameeminw wa laa shafee'iny-yutaa'

یَعۡلَمُ خَاۤىِٕنَةَ ٱلۡأَعۡیُنِ وَمَا تُخۡفِی ٱلصُّدُورُ

وہ آنکھوں کی خیانت اور دل کے بھید جانتا ہے

He knows that which deceives the eyes and what the breasts conceal.

Ya'lamu khaaa'inatal a'yuni wa maa tukhfis sudoor

وَٱللَّهُ یَقۡضِی بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ وَٱلَّذِینَ یَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا یَقۡضُونَ بِشَیۡءٍۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِیعُ ٱلۡبَصِیرُ

اور الله ہی انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلہ کرے گا اور جنہیں وہ اس کے سوا پکارتے ہیں وہ کچھ بھی فیصلہ نہیں کر سکتے بیشک الله ہی سب کچھ سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے

And Allah judges with truth, while those they invoke besides Him judge not with anything. Indeed, Allah - He is the Hearing, the Seeing.

Wallaahu yaqdee bilhaqq, wallazeena yad'oona min doonihee laa yaqdoona bishai'; innal laaha Huwas Samee'ul Baseer

۞ أَوَلَمۡ یَسِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَیَنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوا۟ هُمۡ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةࣰ وَءَاثَارࣰا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقࣲ

کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی کہ وہ دیکھتے ان لوگو ں کا انجام کیسا تھا جو ان سے پہلے ہو گزرے ہیں وہ قوت میں ان سے بڑھ کر تھے اور زمین میں آثار کے اعتبار سے بھی پھر الله نے انہیں ان کے گناہوں کے سبب سے پکڑ لیا اوران کے لیے الله سے کوئی بچانے والا نہ تھا

Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those who were before them? They were greater than them in strength and in impression on the land, but Allah seized them for their sins. And they had not from Allah any protector.

Awalam yaseeroo fil ardi fa yanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena kaanoo min qablihim; kaanoo hum ashadda minhum quwwatanw wa aasaaran fil ardi fa akhazahumul laahu bizunoobihim wa maa kaana lahum minal laahi minw waaq

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَانَت تَّأۡتِیهِمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ فَكَفَرُوا۟ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ قَوِیࣱّ شَدِیدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

یہ اس لیے کہ ان کے پاس ان کے رسول روشن دلیلیں لے کر آتے تھے تو وہ انکار کرتے تھے پس انہیں الله نے پکڑ لیا بے شک وہ بڑا قوت والا سخت عذاب دینے والا ہے

That was because their messengers were coming to them with clear proofs, but they disbelieved, so Allah seized them. Indeed, He is Powerful and severe in punishment.

Zaalika bi annahum kaanat taateehim Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati fakafaroo fa akhazahumul laah; innahoo qawiyyun shadeedul 'iqaab

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا وَسُلۡطَـٰنࣲ مُّبِینٍ

اور ہم نے موسیٰ کو اپنے معجزات اور واضح دلیل دے کر بھیجا تھا

And We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority

Wa laqad arsalnaa Moosaa bi Aayaatinaa wa sultaanim mubeen

إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ وَقَـٰرُونَ فَقَالُوا۟ سَـٰحِرࣱ كَذَّابࣱ

فرعون اور ہامان اور قارون کی طرف تو وہ کہنے لگے بڑا جھوٹا جادوگر ہے

To Pharaoh, Haman and Qarun; but they said, "[He is] a magician and a liar."

Ilaa Fir'awna wa Haamaana qa Qaaroona faqaaloo saahirun kazzaab

فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ مِنۡ عِندِنَا قَالُوا۟ ٱقۡتُلُوۤا۟ أَبۡنَاۤءَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ وَٱسۡتَحۡیُوا۟ نِسَاۤءَهُمۡۚ وَمَا كَیۡدُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ إِلَّا فِی ضَلَـٰلࣲ

پس جب وہ ان کے پاس ہماری طرف سے سچا دین لائے تو کہنے لگے ان لوگوں کے بیٹوں کو قتل کر دو جو موسیٰ پر ایمان لائے ہیں اور ان کی عورتوں کو زندہ رہنے دو اور کافروں کے داؤ تو محض غلط ہوا کرتے ہیں

And when he brought them the truth from Us, they said, "Kill the sons of those who have believed with him and keep their women alive." But the plan of the disbelievers is not except in error.

Falamuna jaaa'ahum bil haqqi min 'indinaa qaaluq tulooo abnaaa'al lazeena aamanoo ma'ahoo wastahyoo nisaaa'ahum; wa maa kaidul kaafireena illaa fee dalaal

وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ذَرُونِیۤ أَقۡتُلۡ مُوسَىٰ وَلۡیَدۡعُ رَبَّهُۥۤۖ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ أَن یُبَدِّلَ دِینَكُمۡ أَوۡ أَن یُظۡهِرَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡفَسَادَ

اور فرعون نے کہا مجھے چھوڑ دو میں موسیٰ کو قتل کر دوں اور وہ اپنے رب کو پکارے میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ وہ تمہارے دین کو بدل ڈالے گا یا یہ کہ زمین میں فساد پھیلائے گا

And Pharaoh said, "Let me kill Moses and let him call upon his Lord. Indeed, I fear that he will change your religion or that he will cause corruption in the land."

Wa qaala Fir'awnu zarooneee aqtul Moosaa walyad'u Rabbahoo inneee akhaafu ai yubaddila deenakum aw ai yuzhira fil ardil fasaad

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰۤ إِنِّی عُذۡتُ بِرَبِّی وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرࣲ لَّا یُؤۡمِنُ بِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

اور موسیٰ نے کہا میں تو اپنی اور تمہارے رب کی پناہ لے چکا ہوں ہر ایک متکبّر سے جو حساب کے دن پر یقین نہیں رکھتا

But Moses said, "Indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant one who does not believe in the Day of Account."

Wa qaala Moosaaaa innee 'uztu bi Rabbee wa Rabbikum min kulli mutakabbiril laayu'minu bi Yawmil Hisaab

وَقَالَ رَجُلࣱ مُّؤۡمِنࣱ مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ یَكۡتُمُ إِیمَـٰنَهُۥۤ أَتَقۡتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَن یَقُولَ رَبِّیَ ٱللَّهُ وَقَدۡ جَاۤءَكُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ وَإِن یَكُ كَـٰذِبࣰا فَعَلَیۡهِ كَذِبُهُۥۖ وَإِن یَكُ صَادِقࣰا یُصِبۡكُم بَعۡضُ ٱلَّذِی یَعِدُكُمۡۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَهۡدِی مَنۡ هُوَ مُسۡرِفࣱ كَذَّابࣱ

اور فرعون کی قوم میں سے ایک ایمان دار آدمی نے کہا جو اپنا ایمان چھپاتا تھا کیاتم ایسے آدمی کو قتل کرتے ہو جو یہ کہتا ہے کہ میرا رب الله ہے اوروہ تمہارے پاس وہ روشن دلیلیں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے لایا ہے اور اگر وہ جھوٹا ہے تو اسی پر ا س کے جھوٹ کا وبال ہے اور اگر وہ سچا ہے تو تمہیں کچھ نہ کچھ وہ (عذاب) جس کا وہ تم سے وعدہ کرتا ہے پہنچے گا اور الله اس کو راہ پر نہیں لاتا جو حد سے بڑھنے والا بڑا جھوٹا ہے

And a believing man from the family of Pharaoh who concealed his faith said, "Do you kill a man [merely] because he says, 'My Lord is Allah' while he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? And if he should be lying, then upon him is [the consequence of] his lie; but if he should be truthful, there will strike you some of what he promises you. Indeed, Allah does not guide one who is a transgressor and a liar.

Wa qaala rajulum mu'minummin Aali Fir'awna yaktumu eemaanahooo ataqtuloona rajulan ai yaqoola Rabbi yal laahu wa qad jaaa'akum bil haiyinaati mir Rabbikum wa iny yaku kaaziban fa'alaihi kazi buhoo wa iny yaku saadiqany yasibkum ba'dul lazee ya'idukum innal laaha laa yahdee man huwa musrifun kaazaab

یَـٰقَوۡمِ لَكُمُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ ظَـٰهِرِینَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَمَن یَنصُرُنَا مِنۢ بَأۡسِ ٱللَّهِ إِن جَاۤءَنَاۚ قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ مَاۤ أُرِیكُمۡ إِلَّا مَاۤ أَرَىٰ وَمَاۤ أَهۡدِیكُمۡ إِلَّا سَبِیلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ

اے میری قوم آج تو تمہاری حکومت ہے تم ملک میں غالب ہو ہماری کون مدد کرے گا اگر ہم پر الله کا عذاب آگیا فرعون نے کہا میں تو تمہیں وہی سوجھاتا ہوں جو مجھے سوجھی ہے اور میں تمہیں سیدھا ہی راستہ بتاتا ہوں

O my people, sovereignty is yours today, [your being] dominant in the land. But who would protect us from the punishment of Allah if it came to us?" Pharaoh said, "I do not show you except what I see, and I do not guide you except to the way of right conduct."

Yaa qawmi lakumul mulkul yawma zaahireena fil ardi famai yansurunaa mim baasil laahi in jaaa'anaa; qaala Fir'awnu maaa ureekum illaa maaa araa wa maaa ahdeekum illaa sabeelar Rashaad

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِیۤ ءَامَنَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ عَلَیۡكُم مِّثۡلَ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ

اور اس شخص نے کہا جو ایمان لایا تھا کہ اےمیری قوم مجھے تو تمہاری نسبت (پہلی) امتوں جیسے دن کا اندیشہ ہو رہا ہے

And he who believed said, "O my people, indeed I fear for you [a fate] like the day of the companies -

Wa qaalal lazee aamana yaa qawmi inneee akhaafu 'alaikum misla yawmil Ahzaab

مِثۡلَ دَأۡبِ قَوۡمِ نُوحࣲ وَعَادࣲ وَثَمُودَ وَٱلَّذِینَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۚ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ یُرِیدُ ظُلۡمࣰا لِّلۡعِبَادِ

جیسا کہ قوم نوح اور عاد اور ثمود اور ان سے پچھلوں کا حال ہوا اور الله تو بندوں پر کچھ بھی ظلم نہیں کرنا چاہتا

Like the custom of the people of Noah and of 'Aad and Thamud and those after them. And Allah wants no injustice for [His] servants.

Misla daabi qawmi Noohinw wa 'aadinw wa Samooda wallazeena mim ba'dihim; wa mal laahu yureedu zulmal lil'ibaad

وَیَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ عَلَیۡكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلتَّنَادِ

اور اے میری قوم مجھے تم پر چیخ و پکار (قیامت) کے دن کا اندیشہ ہے

And O my people, indeed I fear for you the Day of Calling -

Wa yaa qawmi inneee akhaafu 'alaikum yawmat tanaad

یَوۡمَ تُوَلُّونَ مُدۡبِرِینَ مَا لَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۡ عَاصِمࣲۗ وَمَن یُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادࣲ

جس دن تم پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگو گے الله سے تمہیں کوئی بچانے والا نہیں ہوگا اور جسے الله گمراہ کر دے پھر اسے کوئی راہ بتانے والا نہیں

The Day you will turn your backs fleeing; there is not for you from Allah any protector. And whoever Allah leaves astray - there is not for him any guide.

Yawma tuwalloona mud bireena maa lakum minal laahi min 'aasim; wa mai yudlilil laahu famaa lahoo min haad

وَلَقَدۡ جَاۤءَكُمۡ یُوسُفُ مِن قَبۡلُ بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ فَمَا زِلۡتُمۡ فِی شَكࣲّ مِّمَّا جَاۤءَكُم بِهِۦۖ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلۡتُمۡ لَن یَبۡعَثَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ رَسُولࣰاۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَنۡ هُوَ مُسۡرِفࣱ مُّرۡتَابٌ

اور تمہارے پاس یوسف بھی اس سے پہلے واضح دلیلیں لے کر آ چکا پس تم ہمیشہ اس سے شک میں رہے جو وہ تمہارے پاس لایا یہاں تک کہ جب وہ فوت ہو گیا تو تم نےکہا کہ الله اس کے بعد کوئی رسول ہر گز نہیں بھیجے گا اسی طرح الله گمراہ کرتا ہے اس کو جو حد سے بڑھنے والا شک کرنے والا ہے

And Joseph had already come to you before with clear proofs, but you remained in doubt of that which he brought to you, until when he died, you said, 'Never will Allah send a messenger after him.' Thus does Allah leave astray he who is a transgressor and skeptic."

Wa laqad jaaa'akum Yoosufu min qablu bil baiyinaati famaa ziltum fee shakkim mimaa jaaa'akum bihee hattaaa izaa halaka qultum lai yab asal laahu mim ba'dihee Rasoolaa; kazaalika yudillul laahu man huwa Musrifum murtaab

ٱلَّذِینَ یُجَـٰدِلُونَ فِیۤ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَیۡرِ سُلۡطَـٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمۡۖ كَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلۡبِ مُتَكَبِّرࣲ جَبَّارࣲ

جو لوگ الله کی آیتوں میں کسی دلیل کے سوا جو ان کے پاس پہنچی ہو جھگڑتے ہیں الله اور ایمان والوں کے نزدیک (یہ) بڑی نازیبا بات ہے الله ہر ایک متکبّر سرکش کے دل پر اسی طرح مہر کر دیا کرتا ہے

Those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without an authority having come to them - great is hatred [of them] in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who have believed. Thus does Allah seal over every heart [belonging to] an arrogant tyrant.

Allazeena yujaadiloona feee Aaayaatil laahi bighairi sultaanin ataahum kabura maqtan 'indal laahi wa 'indal lazeena aamanoo; kazaalika yatha'ul laahu 'alaa kulli qalbi mutakabbirin jabbaar

وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ یَـٰهَـٰمَـٰنُ ٱبۡنِ لِی صَرۡحࣰا لَّعَلِّیۤ أَبۡلُغُ ٱلۡأَسۡبَـٰبَ

اور فرعون نے کہا اے ہامان میرے لیے ایک محل بنا تاکہ میں راستوں پر پہنچوں

And Pharaoh said, "O Haman, construct for me a tower that I might reach the ways -

Wa qaala Fir'awnu yaa Haamaanub-ni lee sarhal la'alleee ablughul asbaab

أَسۡبَـٰبَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَىٰۤ إِلَـٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّی لَأَظُنُّهُۥ كَـٰذِبࣰاۚ وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ زُیِّنَ لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ سُوۤءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَصُدَّ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِیلِۚ وَمَا كَیۡدُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِلَّا فِی تَبَابࣲ

یعنی آسمان کے راستوں پر پھر موسیٰ کے خدا کی طرف جھانک کر دیکھوں اور میں تو اسے جھوٹا خیال کرتا ہوں اور اسی طرح فرعون کو اس کا برا عمل اچھا معلوم ہوا اور وہ راستہ سے روکا گیا تھا اور فرعون کی ہر تدبیر غارت ہی گئی

The ways into the heavens - so that I may look at the deity of Moses; but indeed, I think he is a liar." And thus was made attractive to Pharaoh the evil of his deed, and he was averted from the [right] way. And the plan of Pharaoh was not except in ruin.

Asbaabas samaawaati faattali'a ilaaa ilaahi Moosaa wa innee la azunnuhoo kaazibaa; wa kazaalika zuyyina li-Fir'awna sooo'u 'amalihee wa sudda 'anis sabeel; wa maa kaidu Fir'awna illaa fee tabaab

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِیۤ ءَامَنَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ ٱتَّبِعُونِ أَهۡدِكُمۡ سَبِیلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ

اوراس شخص نے کہا جو ایمان لایا تھا اے میری قوم تم میری پیروی کرو میں تمہیں نیکی کی راہ بتاؤں گا

And he who believed said, "O my people, follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct.

Wa qaalal lazeee aamana yaa qawmit tabi'ooni ahdikum sabeelar rashaad

یَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنَّمَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَا مَتَـٰعࣱ وَإِنَّ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةَ هِیَ دَارُ ٱلۡقَرَارِ

اے میری قوم دنیا کی زندگی بس (چند روزہ) فائدے ہیں اور آخرت کا گھر ہی ٹھہرنے کی جگہ ہے

O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement.

Yaa qawmi innamaa haazihil hayaatud dunyaa mataa'unw wa innal Aakhirata hiya daarul qaraar

مَنۡ عَمِلَ سَیِّئَةࣰ فَلَا یُجۡزَىٰۤ إِلَّا مِثۡلَهَاۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنࣱ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ یَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ یُرۡزَقُونَ فِیهَا بِغَیۡرِ حِسَابࣲ

جس نے برا کام کیا تو اتنی ہی سزا پائے گا اور جس نے نیک کام کیا خواہ وہ مرد ہو یا عورت اور وہ ایمانداربھی ہو سو وہ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے جہاں انہیں بے حساب روزی ملے گی

Whoever does an evil deed will not be recompensed except by the like thereof; but whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - those will enter Paradise, being given provision therein without account.

Man 'amila saiyi'atan falaa yujzaaa illaa mislahaa wa man 'amila saaliham min zakarin aw unsaa wa huwa mu'minun fa ulaaa'ika yadkhuloonal Jannata yurzaqoona feehaa bighairi hisaab

۞ وَیَـٰقَوۡمِ مَا لِیۤ أَدۡعُوكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلنَّجَوٰةِ وَتَدۡعُونَنِیۤ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ

اور اے میری قوم کیا بات ہے میں تو تمہیں نجات کی طرف بلاتا ہوں اور تم مجھے دوزخ کی طرف بلاتے ہو

And O my people, how is it that I invite you to salvation while you invite me to the Fire?

Wa yaa qawmi maa leee ad'ookum ilan najaati wa tad'oonaneee ilan Naar

تَدۡعُونَنِی لِأَكۡفُرَ بِٱللَّهِ وَأُشۡرِكَ بِهِۦ مَا لَیۡسَ لِی بِهِۦ عِلۡمࣱ وَأَنَا۠ أَدۡعُوكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرِ

تم مجھے اس بات کی طرف بلاتے ہو کہ میں الله کا منکر ہو جاؤں اور اس کے ساتھ اسے شریک کروں جسے میں جانتا بھی نہیں اور میں تمہیں غالب بخشنے والے کی طرف بلاتاہوں

You invite me to disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.

Tad'oonanee li-akfura billaahi wa ushrika bihee maa laisa lee bihee 'ilmunw wa ana ad'ookum ilal'Azeezil Ghaffaar

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدۡعُونَنِیۤ إِلَیۡهِ لَیۡسَ لَهُۥ دَعۡوَةࣱ فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَلَا فِی ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَاۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِینَ هُمۡ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ

بے شک تم مجھے جس کی طرف بلاتے ہو وہ نہ دنیا میں بلانے کے قابل ہے اور نہ آخرت میں اور بےشک ہمیں الله کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے اور بے شک حد سے بڑھنے والے ہی دوزخی ہیں

Assuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire.

Laa jarama annamaa tad'oonanee ilaihi laisa lahoo da'watun fid dunyaa wa laa fil Aakhirati wa anna maraddanaaa ilal laahi wa annal musrifeenahum Ashaabun Naar

فَسَتَذۡكُرُونَ مَاۤ أَقُولُ لَكُمۡۚ وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمۡرِیۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَصِیرُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ

پھر تم میری بات کو یاد کرو گے اور میں اپنا معاملہ الله کے سپرد کرتا ہوں بے شک الله بندوں کو دیکھ رہا ہے

And you will remember what I [now] say to you, and I entrust my affair to Allah. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of [His] servants."

Fasatazkuroona maaa aqoolu lakum; wa ufawwidu amreee ilal laah; innallaaha baseerum bil'ibaad

فَوَقَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ سَیِّـَٔاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا۟ۖ وَحَاقَ بِـَٔالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ سُوۤءُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ

پھر الله نے اسے تو ان کے فریبوں کی برائی سے بچایا اور خود فرعونیوں پر سخت عذاب آ پڑا

So Allah protected him from the evils they plotted, and the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst of punishment -

Fa waqaahul laahu saiyiaati maa makaroo wa haaqa bi Aali-Fir'awna sooo'ul 'azaab

ٱلنَّارُ یُعۡرَضُونَ عَلَیۡهَا غُدُوࣰّا وَعَشِیࣰّاۚ وَیَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدۡخِلُوۤا۟ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ أَشَدَّ ٱلۡعَذَابِ

وہ صبح او رشام آگ کے سامنے لائے جاتے ہیں اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہو گی (حکم ہوگا) فرعونیوں کو سخت عذاب میں لے جاؤ

The Fire, they are exposed to it morning and evening. And the Day the Hour appears [it will be said], "Make the people of Pharaoh enter the severest punishment."

An Naaru yu'radoona 'alaihaa ghuduwwanw wa 'ashiyyanw wa Yawma taqoomus Saa'aatu adkhilooo Aala Fir'awna ashaddal 'azaab

وَإِذۡ یَتَحَاۤجُّونَ فِی ٱلنَّارِ فَیَقُولُ ٱلضُّعَفَـٰۤؤُا۟ لِلَّذِینَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوۤا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمۡ تَبَعࣰا فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّغۡنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِیبࣰا مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ

اور جب دوزخی آپس میں جھگڑیں گےپھر کمزور سرکشوں سے کہیں گے کہ ہم تمہارے پیرو تھے پھر کیا تم ہم سے کچھ بھی آگ دور کر سکتے ہو

And [mention] when they will argue within the Fire, and the weak will say to those who had been arrogant, "Indeed, we were [only] your followers, so will you relieve us of a share of the Fire?"

Wa iz yatahaaajjoona fin Naari fa-yaqoolud du'afaaa'u lillazeenas takbarooo innaa kunnaa lakum taba'an fahal antum mughnoona annaa naseebam minan Naar

قَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوۤا۟ إِنَّا كُلࣱّ فِیهَاۤ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدۡ حَكَمَ بَیۡنَ ٱلۡعِبَادِ

سرکش کہیں گے ہم تم سبھی اس میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں بے شک الله اپنے بندوں میں فیصلہ کر چکا ہے

Those who had been arrogant will say, "Indeed, all [of us] are in it. Indeed, Allah has judged between the servants."

Qaalal lazeenas takbarooo innaa kullun feehaaa innal laaha qad hakama baynal'ibaad

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ فِی ٱلنَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ٱدۡعُوا۟ رَبَّكُمۡ یُخَفِّفۡ عَنَّا یَوۡمࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ

اور دوزخی جہنم کے داروغہ سے کہیں گے کہ تم اپنے رب سے عرض کرو کہ وہ ہم سے کسی روز تو عذاب ہلکا کر دیا کرے

And those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Hell, "Supplicate your Lord to lighten for us a day from the punishment."

Wa qaalal lazena fin Naari likhazanati Jahannamad-'oo Rabbakum yukhaffif 'annaa yawmam minal 'azaab

قَالُوۤا۟ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُ تَأۡتِیكُمۡ رُسُلُكُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِۖ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰۚ قَالُوا۟ فَٱدۡعُوا۟ۗ وَمَا دُعَـٰۤؤُا۟ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ إِلَّا فِی ضَلَـٰلٍ

وہ کہیں گے کیا تمہارے پاس تمہارے رسول نشانیاں لے کر نہ آئے تھے کہیں گے ہاں (آئے تھے) کہیں گے پس پکارو اور کافروں کا پکارنا محض بے سود ہو گا

They will say, "Did there not come to you your messengers with clear proofs?" They will say, "Yes." They will reply, "Then supplicate [yourselves], but the supplication of the disbelievers is not except in error."

Qaalooo awalam taku taateekum Rusulukum bilbaiyinaati qaaloo balaa' qaaloo fad'oo; wa maa du'aaa'ul kaafireena illaa fee dalaal

إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَیَوۡمَ یَقُومُ ٱلۡأَشۡهَـٰدُ

ہم اپنے رسولوں اور ایمانداروں کے دنیا کی زندگی میں بھی مددگار ہیں اور اس دن جب کہ گواہ کھڑے ہوں گے

Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand -

Innaa lanansuru Rusulanaa wallazeena aamanoo fil hayaatid dunyaa wa Yawma yaqoomul ashhaad

یَوۡمَ لَا یَنفَعُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡۖ وَلَهُمُ ٱللَّعۡنَةُ وَلَهُمۡ سُوۤءُ ٱلدَّارِ

جس دن ظالموں کو ان کا عذر کرنا کچھ بھی نفع نہ دے گا اور ان پر پھٹکار پڑے گی اور ان کے لیے برا گھر ہوگا

The Day their excuse will not benefit the wrongdoers, and they will have the curse, and they will have the worst home.

Yawma laa yanfa'uz zaalimeena ma'ziratuhum wa lahumul la'natu wa lahum soooud daar

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَأَوۡرَثۡنَا بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰ⁠ۤءِیلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ

اور ہم نے موسیٰ کو ہدایت دی تھی اور ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو کتاب کا وارث کر دیا تھا

And We had certainly given Moses guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture

Wa laqad aatainaa Moosal hudaa wa awrasnaa Baneee Israaa 'eelal Kitaab

هُدࣰى وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِی ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ

جو عقلمندوں کے لیے ہدایت اور نصیحت تھی

As guidance and a reminder for those of understanding.

Hudanw wa zikraa li ulil albaab

فَٱصۡبِرۡ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلۡعَشِیِّ وَٱلۡإِبۡكَـٰرِ

پس صبر کر بے شک الله کا وعدہ سچا ہے اور اپنے گناہ کی معافی مانگ اور شام اور صبح اپنے رب کی حمد کے ساتھ پاکی بیان کر

So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

Fasbir inna wa'dal laahi haqqunw wastaghfir lizambika wa sabbih bihamdi Rabbika bil'ashiyyi wal ibkaar

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُجَـٰدِلُونَ فِیۤ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَیۡرِ سُلۡطَـٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمۡ إِن فِی صُدُورِهِمۡ إِلَّا كِبۡرࣱ مَّا هُم بِبَـٰلِغِیهِۚ فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ بِٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِیعُ ٱلۡبَصِیرُ

بے شک جو لوگ الله کی آیتوں میں بغیر اس کے کہ ان کے پاس کوئی دلیل آئی ہو جھگڑتے ہیں اور کچھ نہیں بس ان کے دل میں بڑائی ہے کہ وہ اس تک کبھی پہنچنے والے نہیں سو الله سے پناہ مانگو کیوں کہ وہ سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے

Indeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without [any] authority having come to them - there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing.

Innal lazeena yujaadi loona feee Aayaatil laahi bighairi sultaanin ataahum in fee sudoorihim illaa kibrum maa hum bibaaligheeh; fasta'iz billaahi innahoo Huwas Samee'ul Baseer

لَخَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَكۡبَرُ مِنۡ خَلۡقِ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ

البتہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنا آدمیوں کے پیدا کرنے کی نسبت بڑا کام ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے

The creation of the heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of the people do not know.

Lakhalqus samaawaati wal ardi akbaru min khalqin naasi wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa ya'lamoon

وَمَا یَسۡتَوِی ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِیرُ وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَلَا ٱلۡمُسِیۤءُۚ قَلِیلࣰا مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

اور اندھا اور دیکھنے والا برابر نہیں اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک کام کئے وہ اور بدکار برابر نہیں تم بہت ہی کم سمجھتے ہو

And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. Little do you remember.

Wa maa yastawil a'maa walbaseeru wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa lal museee'; qaleelam maa tatazakkaroon

إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَـَٔاتِیَةࣱ لَّا رَیۡبَ فِیهَا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ

بے شک قیامت آنے والی ہے اس میں کوئی شک نہیں لیکن اکثر لوگ یقین نہیں کرتے

Indeed, the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - but most of the people do not believe.

Innas Saa'ata la aatiyatul laa raiba feehaa wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa yu'minoon

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ٱدۡعُونِیۤ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ عَنۡ عِبَادَتِی سَیَدۡخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِینَ

اور تمہارے رب نے فرمایا ہے مجھے پکارو میں تمہاری دعا قبول کروں گا بے شک جو لوگ میری عبادت سے سرکشی کرتے ہیں عنقریب وہ ذلیل ہو کر دوزخ میں داخل ہوں گے

And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.

Wa qaala Rabbukumud 'ooneee astajib lakum; innal lazeena yastakbiroona an 'ibaadatee sa yadkhuloona jahannama daakhireen

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّیۡلَ لِتَسۡكُنُوا۟ فِیهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبۡصِرًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَشۡكُرُونَ

الله ہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے رات بنائی تاکہ اس میں آرام کرو اور دن کو ہر چیز دکھانے والا بنایا بے شک الله لوگوں پر بڑے فضل والا ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ شکر نہیں کرتے

It is Allah who made for you the night that you may rest therein and the day giving sight. Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people are not grateful.

Allaahul lazee ja'ala lakumul laila litqaskunoo feehi wannahaara mubsiraa; innal laaha lazoo fadlin 'alan naasi wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa yashkuroon

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ خَـٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ لَّاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ

یہی الله تمہارا رب ہے ہر چیز کا پیدا کرنے والا اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں پھر کہاں الٹے جا رہے ہو

That is Allah, your Lord, Creator of all things; there is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?

Zaalikumul laahu Rabbukum khaaliqu kulli shai'; laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa fa annaa tu'fakoon

كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یُؤۡفَكُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ یَجۡحَدُونَ

اسی طرح وہ لوگ بھی الٹے چلا کرتے تھے جو الله کی نشانیوں کا انکار کیا کرتے تھے

Thus were those [before you] deluded who were rejecting the signs of Allah.

Kazaalika yu'fakul loazeena kaanoo bi Aayaatil laahi yajhadoon

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ قَرَارࣰا وَٱلسَّمَاۤءَ بِنَاۤءࣰ وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ فَأَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَكُمۡ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّیِّبَـٰتِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡۖ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ

الله ہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے زمین کو آرام گاہ بنایا اور آسمان کو چھت اور تمہاری صورتیں بنائیں اور پاکیزہ چیزوں سے تمہیں رزق دیا وہی الله تمہارا پالنے والا ہے پس سارے جہان کا پالنے والا الله با برکت ہے

It is Allah who made for you the earth a place of settlement and the sky a ceiling and formed you and perfected your forms and provided you with good things. That is Allah, your Lord; then blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds.

Allaahul lazee ja'ala lakumul arda qaraaranw wassa maaa'a binaaa'anw wa sawwarakum fa ahsana suwarakum wa razaqakum minat taiyibaat; zaalikumul laahu Rabbukum fatabaarakal laahu Rabbul 'aalameen

هُوَ ٱلۡحَیُّ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَٱدۡعُوهُ مُخۡلِصِینَ لَهُ ٱلدِّینَۗ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ

وہی ہمیشہ زندہ ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں پس اسی کو پکارو خاص اسی کی بندگی کرتے ہوئے سب تعریف الله کے لیے ہے جو سارے جہان کا پالنے والا ہے

He is the Ever-Living; there is no deity except Him, so call upon Him, [being] sincere to Him in religion. [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

Huwal Hayyu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa fad'oohu mukh liseena lahudeen; alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen

۞ قُلۡ إِنِّی نُهِیتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱلَّذِینَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَمَّا جَاۤءَنِیَ ٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتُ مِن رَّبِّی وَأُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أُسۡلِمَ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ

کہہ دو مجھے تو ان چیزوں کی عبادت سے منع کیا گیا ہے جن کو تم الله کے سوا پکارتے ہو جب کہ میرے رب کی طرف سے میرے پاس کھلی کھلی نشانیاں آچکی ہیں اور مجھے یہ حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں رب العالمین کے سامنے سر جھکاؤں

Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been forbidden to worship those you call upon besides Allah once the clear proofs have come to me from my Lord, and I have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds."

Qul innee nuheetu an a'budal lazeena tad'oona min doonil laahi lammaa jaaa'a niyal biyinaatu mir Rabbee wa umirtu an uslima li Rabbil 'aalameen

هُوَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابࣲ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطۡفَةࣲ ثُمَّ مِنۡ عَلَقَةࣲ ثُمَّ یُخۡرِجُكُمۡ طِفۡلࣰا ثُمَّ لِتَبۡلُغُوۤا۟ أَشُدَّكُمۡ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا۟ شُیُوخࣰاۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن یُتَوَفَّىٰ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَلِتَبۡلُغُوۤا۟ أَجَلࣰا مُّسَمࣰّى وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ

وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں مٹی سے پھر نطفے سے پھر خون بستہ سے پیدا کیا پھر وہ تمہیں بچہ بنا کر نکالتا ہے پھر باقی رکھتا ہے تاکہ تم اپنی جوانی کو پہنچو پھر یہاں تک کہ تم بوڑھے ہو جاتے ہو کچھ تم میں اس سے پہلے مر جاتے ہیں (بعض کو زندہ رکھتا ہےاور تاکہ تم وقت مقررہ تک پہنچو اور تاکہ تم سمجھو

It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason.

Huwal lazee khalaqakum min turaabin summa min nutfatin summa min 'alaqatin summa yukhrijukum tiflan summa litablughooo ashuddakum summa litakoonoo shuyookhaa; wa minkum mai yutawaffaa min qablu wa litablughooo ajalam musam manw-wa la'allakum ta'qiloon

هُوَ ٱلَّذِی یُحۡیِۦ وَیُمِیتُۖ فَإِذَا قَضَىٰۤ أَمۡرࣰا فَإِنَّمَا یَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَیَكُونُ

وہی ہے جو زندہ کرتا ہے اور مارتا ہے پس جب وہ کسی امر کیا فیصلہ کرلیتا ہے تو صرف اس سے یہی کہتا ہے کو ہو جا تو وہ ہو جاتا ہے

He it is who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, "Be," and it is.

Huwal lazee yuhyee wa yumeetu fa izaa qadaaa amran fa innamaa yaqoolu lahoo kun fa yakon

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ یُجَـٰدِلُونَ فِیۤ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أَنَّىٰ یُصۡرَفُونَ

کیا آپ نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا جو الله کی آیتوں میں جھگڑتے ہیں وہ کہاں پھرے چلے جا رہے ہیں

Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted?

Alam tara ilal lazeena yujaadiloona feee Aayaatil laahi annaa yusrafoon

ٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ وَبِمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا بِهِۦ رُسُلَنَاۖ فَسَوۡفَ یَعۡلَمُونَ

وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کتاب کو اور جو کچھ ہم نے رسولوں کو دے کر بھیجا تھا سب کو جھٹلا دیا پس انہیں معلوم ہو جائے گا

Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know,

Allazeena kazzaboo bil Kitaabi wa bimaa arsalnaa bihee Rusulanaa fasawfa ya'lamoon

إِذِ ٱلۡأَغۡلَـٰلُ فِیۤ أَعۡنَـٰقِهِمۡ وَٱلسَّلَـٰسِلُ یُسۡحَبُونَ

جب کہ طوق اور زنجیریں ان کے گلے میں ڈال کر گھسیٹے جائيں گے

When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged

Izil aghlaalu feee a'naaqi-him wassalaasilu yashaboon

فِی ٱلۡحَمِیمِ ثُمَّ فِی ٱلنَّارِ یُسۡجَرُونَ

کھولتے پانی میں پھر آگ میں جھونکے جائیں گے

In boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame].

Fil hameemi summa fin Naari Yasjaroon

ثُمَّ قِیلَ لَهُمۡ أَیۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تُشۡرِكُونَ

پھر ان سے کہا جائے گا کہاں ہیں جنھیں تم شریک بتاتے تھے

Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship]

Summaa qeela lahum ayna maa kuntum tushrikoon

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۖ قَالُوا۟ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنَّا بَل لَّمۡ نَكُن نَّدۡعُوا۟ مِن قَبۡلُ شَیۡـࣰٔاۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ

الله کے سوا وہ کہیں گے ہم سے وہ کھوئے گئے بلکہ ہم تو اس سے پہلے کسی چیز کو بھی نہیں پکارتے تھے اسی طرح الله کافروں کو گمراہ کرتا ہے

Other than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers.

Min doonil laahi qaaloo dalloo 'annaa bal lam nakun nad'oo min qablu shai'aa; kazaalika yudillul laahul kaafireen

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَفۡرَحُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَیۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَمۡرَحُونَ

یہ عذاب تمہیں اس لیے ہوا کہ تم ملک میں ناحق خوشیاں مناتے تھے اور اس لیے بھی کہ تم اترایا کرتے تھے

[The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently.

Zaalikum bimaa kuntum tafrahoona fil ardi bighairil haqqi wa bimaa kuntum tamrahoon

ٱدۡخُلُوۤا۟ أَبۡوَ ٰ⁠بَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَى ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِینَ

جہنم کے دروازوں میں ہمیشہ رہنے کے لیے داخل ہو جاؤ پھر تکبر کرنے والوں کا کیا ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے

Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant."

Udkhulooo abwaaba Jahannama khaalideena feehaa fabi'sa maswal mutakabbireen

فَٱصۡبِرۡ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّۚ فَإِمَّا نُرِیَنَّكَ بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِی نَعِدُهُمۡ أَوۡ نَتَوَفَّیَنَّكَ فَإِلَیۡنَا یُرۡجَعُونَ

پھر صبر کر بے شک الله کا وعدہ سچا ہے پھر جس (عذاب) کا ہم ان سے وعدہ کر رہے ہیں کچھ تھوڑا سا اگر ہم آپ کو دکھا دیں یا ہم آپ کو وفات دے د یں تو ہماری طرف ہی سب لوٹائے جائیں گے

So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned.

Fasbir inna wa'dal laahi haqq; fa immaa nuriyannak ba'dal lazee na'i duhum aw natawaffayannaka fa ilainaa yurja'oon

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلࣰا مِّن قَبۡلِكَ مِنۡهُم مَّن قَصَصۡنَا عَلَیۡكَ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن لَّمۡ نَقۡصُصۡ عَلَیۡكَۗ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن یَأۡتِیَ بِـَٔایَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِذَا جَاۤءَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ قُضِیَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ

اورہم نے آپ سے پہلے کئی رسول بھیجے تھے بعض ان میں سے وہ ہیں جن کا حال ہم نے آپ پر بیان کر دیا اور بعض وہ ہیں کہ ہم نے آپ پر انکا حال بیان نہیں کیا اور کسی رسول سے یہ نہ ہو سکا کہ کوئی معجزہ اذنِ الہیٰ کے سوا ظاہر کر سکے پھر جس وقت الله کا حکم آئے گا ٹھیک فیصلہ ہو جائے گا اوراس وقت باطل پرست نقصان اٹھائیں گے

And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all].

Wa laqad arsalnaa Rusulam min qablika minhum man qasasnaa 'alaika wa minhum mal lam naqsus 'alaik; wa maa kaana li Rasoolin any yaatiya bi Aayatin illaa bi iznil laah; fa izaa jaaa'a amrul laahi qudiya bilhaqqi wa khasira hunaalikal mubtiloon

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمَ لِتَرۡكَبُوا۟ مِنۡهَا وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

الله ہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے چوپائے بنائے تاکہ تم ان میں سے بعض پر سوار ہو اور بعض کو تم کھاتے ہو

It is Allah who made for you the grazing animals upon which you ride, and some of them you eat.

Allaahul lazee ja'ala lakumul an'aama litarkaboo minhaa wa minhaa taakuloon

وَلَكُمۡ فِیهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَلِتَبۡلُغُوا۟ عَلَیۡهَا حَاجَةࣰ فِی صُدُورِكُمۡ وَعَلَیۡهَا وَعَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ تُحۡمَلُونَ

اور تمہارے لیے ان میں بہت سے فوائد ہیں اور تاکہ تم ان پر سوار ہو کر اپنی حاجت کو پہنچو جو تمہارے سینوں میں ہے اور ان پر اور نیز کشتیوں پر تم سوارکیے جاتے ہو

And for you therein are [other] benefits and that you may realize upon them a need which is in your breasts; and upon them and upon ships you are carried.

Wa lakum feehaa manaafi'u wa litablughoo 'alaihaa haajatan fee sudoorikum wa 'alaihaa wa 'alal fulki tuhmaloon

وَیُرِیكُمۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ فَأَیَّ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُنكِرُونَ

اور وہ تمہیں اپنی نشانیاں دکھاتا ہے پس تم الله کی کون کون سی نشانیوں کا انکار کرو گے

And He shows you His signs. So which of the signs of Allah do you deny?

Wa yureekum Aayaatihee fa ayya Aayaatil laahi tunkiroon

أَفَلَمۡ یَسِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَیَنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوۤا۟ أَكۡثَرَ مِنۡهُمۡ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةࣰ وَءَاثَارࣰا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَمَاۤ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یَكۡسِبُونَ

پس کیا انہوں نے ملک میں چل پھر کر نہیں دیکھا کہ جو لوگ ان سے پہلے ہو گزرے ہیں ان کا کیا انجام ہوا وہ لوگ ان سے زیادہ تھے اور قوت اور نشانوں میں (بھی) جو کہ زمین پر چھوڑگئے ہیں بڑھے ہوئے تھے پس ان کے نہ کام آیا جو کچھ وہ کماتے تھے

Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than themselves and greater in strength and in impression on the land, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.

Afalam yaseeroo fil ardi fa yanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena min qablihim; kaanoo aksara minhum wa ashadda quwwatanw wa aasaaran fil ardi famaaa aghnaa 'anhum maa kaanoo yaksiboon

فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ فَرِحُوا۟ بِمَا عِندَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

پس جب ان کے رسول ان کے پا س کھلی دلیلیں لائے تووہ اپنے علم و دانش پر اترانے لگے اور جس پر وہ ہنسی کرتےتھے وہ ان پر الٹ پڑا

And when their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they [merely] rejoiced in what they had of knowledge, but they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

Falammaa jaaa'at hum Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati farihoo bimaa 'indahum minal 'ilmi wa haaqa bihim maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon

فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡا۟ بَأۡسَنَا قَالُوۤا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَحۡدَهُۥ وَكَفَرۡنَا بِمَا كُنَّا بِهِۦ مُشۡرِكِینَ

پھر جب انہوں نے ہمارا عذاب آتے دیکھا تو کہنے لگے کہ ہم الله پر ایمان لائےجو ایک ہے اور ہم نے ان چیزوں کا انکار کیا جنہیں ہم اس کا شریک ٹھیراتے تھے

And when they saw Our punishment, they said," We believe in Allah alone and disbelieve in that which we used to associate with Him."

Falammaa ra aw baasanaa qaalooo aamannaa billaahi wahdahoo wa kafarnaa bimaa kunnaa bihee mushrikeen

فَلَمۡ یَكُ یَنفَعُهُمۡ إِیمَـٰنُهُمۡ لَمَّا رَأَوۡا۟ بَأۡسَنَاۖ سُنَّتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِی قَدۡ خَلَتۡ فِی عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ

پس انہیں ان کے ایمان نے نفع نہ دیا جب انہوں نے ہمارا عذاب دیکھ لیا یہ سنت الہیٰ ہے جو اس کے بندو ں میں گزر چکی ہے اور اس وقت کافر خسارہ میں رہ گئے

But never did their faith benefit them once they saw Our punishment. [It is] the established way of Allah which has preceded among His servants. And the disbelievers thereupon lost [all].

Falam yaku tanfa 'uhum eemaanuhum lammaa ra-aw baasana sunnatal laahil latee qad khalat fee 'ibaadihee wa khasira hunaalikal kaafiroon
