Surah Dhariyat with Urdu & English Translation and Audio - سورۃ الذاریات

وَٱلذَّ ٰ⁠رِیَـٰتِ ذَرۡوࣰا

قسم ہے ان ہواؤں کی جو (غبار وغیرہ) اڑانے والی ہیں

By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing

Waz-zaariyaati zarwaa

فَٱلۡحَـٰمِلَـٰتِ وِقۡرࣰا

پھر ا ن بادلوں کی جو بوجھ (بارش کا) اٹھانے والے ہیں

And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water]

Falhaamilaati wiqraa

فَٱلۡجَـٰرِیَـٰتِ یُسۡرࣰا

پھر ان کشتیوں کی جو نرمی سے چلنے والی ہیں

And those [ships] sailing with ease

Faljaariyaati yusraa

فَٱلۡمُقَسِّمَـٰتِ أَمۡرًا

پھر ان فرشتوں کی جو حکم کے موافق چیزیں تقسیم کرنے واے ہیں

And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter,

Falmuqassimaati amraa

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقࣱ

بے شک جس قیامت کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہےوہ سچ ہے

Indeed, what you are promised is true.

Innamaa too'adoona la-saadiq

وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّینَ لَوَ ٰ⁠قِعࣱ

اور بے شک اعمال کی جزا ضرور ہونے والی ہے

And indeed, the recompense is to occur.

Wa innad deena la waaqi'

وَٱلسَّمَاۤءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡحُبُكِ

آسمان جالی دار کی قسم ہے

By the heaven containing pathways,

Wassamaaa'i zaatil hubuk

إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِی قَوۡلࣲ مُّخۡتَلِفࣲ

البتہ تم پیچیدہ بات میں پڑے ہوئے ہو

Indeed, you are in differing speech.

Innakum lafee qawlim mukhtalif

یُؤۡفَكُ عَنۡهُ مَنۡ أُفِكَ

قرآن سے وہی روکا جاتا ہےجوازل سے گمراہ ہے

Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded.

Yu'faku 'anhu man ufik

قُتِلَ ٱلۡخَرَّ ٰ⁠صُونَ

اٹکل پچو باتیں بنانے والے غارت ہوں

Destroyed are the falsifiers

Qutilal kharraasoon

ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ فِی غَمۡرَةࣲ سَاهُونَ

وہ جو غفلت میں بھولے ہوئے ہیں

Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.

Allazeena hum fee ghamratin saahoon

یَسۡـَٔلُونَ أَیَّانَ یَوۡمُ ٱلدِّینِ

پوچھتے ہیں فیصلے کا دن کب ہوگا

They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"

Yas'aloona ayyaana yawmud Deen

یَوۡمَ هُمۡ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ یُفۡتَنُونَ

جس دن وہ آگ پر عذاب دیے جائیں گے

[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire

Yawma hum 'alan naari yuftanoon

ذُوقُوا۟ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِی كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ

اپنی شرارت کا مزہ چکہو یہی ہے وہ (عذاب) جس کی تم جلدی کرتے تھے

[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."

Zooqoo fitnatakum haa zal lazee kuntum bihee tas ta'jiloon

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ فِی جَنَّـٰتࣲ وَعُیُونٍ

بے شک پرہیزگار باغات اور چشموں میں ہوں گے

Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs,

Innal muttaqeena fee jannaatinw wa 'uyoon

ءَاخِذِینَ مَاۤ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ قَبۡلَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ مُحۡسِنِینَ

لے رہے ہوں گے جو کچھ انہیں ان کا رب عطا کرے گا بے شک وہ اس سے پہلے نیکو کار تھے

Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.

Aakhizeena maaa aataahum Rabbuhum; innahum kaanoo qabla zaalika muhsineen

كَانُوا۟ قَلِیلࣰا مِّنَ ٱلَّیۡلِ مَا یَهۡجَعُونَ

وہ رات کے وقت تھوڑا عرصہ سویا کرتے تھے

They used to sleep but little of the night,

kaanoo qaleelam minal laili maa yahja'oon

وَبِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ هُمۡ یَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ

اور آخر رات میں مغفرت مانگا کرتے تھے

And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,

Wa bilashaari hum yastaghfiroon

وَفِیۤ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِهِمۡ حَقࣱّ لِّلسَّاۤىِٕلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ

اور ان کے مالوں میں سوال کرنے والے اور محتاج کا حق ہوتا تھا

And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.

Wa feee amwaalihim haqqul lissaaa'ili walmahroom

وَفِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ءَایَـٰتࣱ لِّلۡمُوقِنِینَ

اور زمین میں یقین کرنے والوں کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں

And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]

Wa fil ardi aayaatul lilmooqineen

وَفِیۤ أَنفُسِكُمۡۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

اور خود تمہاری نفسوں میں بھی پس کیا تم غور سے نہیں دیکھتے

And in yourselves. Then will you not see?

Wa feee anfusikum; afalaa tubsiroon

وَفِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ رِزۡقُكُمۡ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ

اور تمہاری روزی آسمان میں ہے اور جو تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے

And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.

Wa fissamaaa'i rizqukum wa maa too'adoon

فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقࣱّ مِّثۡلَ مَاۤ أَنَّكُمۡ تَنطِقُونَ

پس آسمان اور زمین کے مالک کی قسم ہے بے شک یہ (قرآن) برحق ہے جیسا تم باتیں کرتے ہو

Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking.

Fawa Rabbis samaaa'i wal ardi innahoo lahaqqum misla maa annakum tantiqoon

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِیثُ ضَیۡفِ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِینَ

کیا آپ کو ابراھیم کے معزز مہمانوں کی بات پہنچی ہے

Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -

Hal ataaka hadeesu daifi Ibraaheemal mukrameen

إِذۡ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمࣰاۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمࣱ قَوۡمࣱ مُّنكَرُونَ

جب کہ وہ اس پر داخل ہوئے پھر انہوں نے سلام کیا ابراھیم نے سوال کا جواب دیا (خیال کیا) کچھ اجنبی سے لوگ ہیں

When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown.

Iz dakhaloo 'alaihi faqaaloo salaaman qaala salaamun qawmum munkaroon

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِهِۦ فَجَاۤءَ بِعِجۡلࣲ سَمِینࣲ

پس چپکے سے اپنے گھر والوں کے پاس گیا اور ایک موٹا بچھڑا (تلا ہوا) لایا

Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf

Faraagha ilaaa ahlihee fajaaa'a bi'ijlin sameen

فَقَرَّبَهُۥۤ إِلَیۡهِمۡ قَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

پھر ان کے سامنے لا رکھا فرمایا کیا تم کھاتے نہیں

And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?"

Faqarrabahooo ilaihim qaala alaa taakuloon

فَأَوۡجَسَ مِنۡهُمۡ خِیفَةࣰۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفۡۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِیمࣲ

پھر ان سے خوف محسوس کیا انہوں نے کہا تم ڈرو نہیں اور انہوں نے اسے ایک دانشمند لڑکے کی خوشخبری دی

And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.

Fa awjasa minhm khee fatan qaaloo laa takhaf wa bashsharoohu bighulaamin 'aleem

فَأَقۡبَلَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ فِی صَرَّةࣲ فَصَكَّتۡ وَجۡهَهَا وَقَالَتۡ عَجُوزٌ عَقِیمࣱ

پھر ان کی بیوی شور مچاتی ہوئی آگے بڑھی اور اپنا ماتھا پیٹ کر کہنے لگی کیا بڑھیا بانجھ جنے گی

And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"

Fa aqbalatim ra-atuhoo fee sarratin fasakkat wajhahaa wa qaalat 'ajoozun 'aqeem

قَالُوا۟ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ

انہوں نے کہا تیرے رب نے یونہی فرمایا ہے بے شک وہ حکمت والا دانا ہے

They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing."

Qaaloo kazaaliki qaala Rabbuki innahoo huwal hakeemul 'aleem

۞ قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَیُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

فرمایا اے رسولو! تمہارا کیا مطلب ہے

[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"

Qaala famaa khatbukum ayyuhal mursaloon

قَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّاۤ أُرۡسِلۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمࣲ مُّجۡرِمِینَ

انہوں نے کہا ہم ایک مجرم قوم کی طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں

They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals

Qaalooo innaaa ursilnaaa ilaa qawmim mujrimeen

لِنُرۡسِلَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةࣰ مِّن طِینࣲ

تاکہ ہم ان پر مٹی کے پتھر برسائیں

To send down upon them stones of clay,

Linursila 'alaihim hijaa ratam min teen

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلۡمُسۡرِفِینَ

وہ آپ کے رب کی طرف حدسے بڑھنے والوں کے لیے مقرر ہو چکے ہیں

Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors."

Musawwamatan 'inda rabbika lilmusrifeen

فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مَن كَانَ فِیهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ

پھر ہم نے نکال لیا جو بھی وہا ں ایمان دار تھا

So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers.

Fa akhrajnaa man kaana feehaa minal mu'mineen

فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِیهَا غَیۡرَ بَیۡتࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ

پھر ہم نے وہاں سوائے مسلمانوں کے ایک گھر کے نہ پایا

And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims.

Famaa wajadnaa feehaa ghaira baitim minal muslimeen

وَتَرَكۡنَا فِیهَاۤ ءَایَةࣰ لِّلَّذِینَ یَخَافُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِیمَ

اورہم نے اس واقعہ میں ایسے لوگو ں کے لیے ایک عبرت رہنے دی جو دردناک عذاب سے ڈرتے ہیں

And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.

Wa taraknaa feehaaa aayatal lillazeena yakhaafoonal 'azaabal aleem

وَفِی مُوسَىٰۤ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ بِسُلۡطَـٰنࣲ مُّبِینࣲ

اور موسیٰ کے قصہ میں بھی عبرت ہے جب کہ ہم نے فرعون کے پا س ایک کھلی دلیل دے کر بھیجا

And in Moses [was a sign], when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority.

Wa fee Moosaaa iz arsalnaahu ilaa Fir'wna bisultaa nim mubeen

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكۡنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَـٰحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونࣱ

سو اس نے مع اپنے ارکانِ سلطنت کے سرتابی کی اور کہا یہ جادوگر یا دیوانہ ہے

But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman."

Fatawalla biruknihee wa qaala saahirun aw majnoon

فَأَخَذۡنَـٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذۡنَـٰهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡیَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِیمࣱ

پھر ہم نے اسے اور اس کے لشکروں کو پکڑ لیا پھر ہم نے انہیں سمند رمیں پھینک دیا اور اس نے کام ہی ملامت کا کیا تھا

So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy.

Fa akhaznaahu wa junoo dahoo fanabaznaahum fil yammi wa huwa muleem

وَفِی عَادٍ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلرِّیحَ ٱلۡعَقِیمَ

اور قوم عاد میں بھی (عبرت ہے) جب ہم نے ان پر سخت آندھی بھیجی

And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind.

Wa fee 'Aadin iz arsalnaa 'alaihimur reehal'aqeem

مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَیۡءٍ أَتَتۡ عَلَیۡهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتۡهُ كَٱلرَّمِیمِ

جو کسی چیز کو نہ چھوڑتی جس پر سے وہ گزرتی مگر اسے بوسیدہ ہڈیوں کی طرح کر دیتی

It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins.

Maa tazaru min shai'in atat 'alaihi illaa ja'alat hu karrameem

وَفِی ثَمُودَ إِذۡ قِیلَ لَهُمۡ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِینࣲ

اور قوم ثمود میں بھی (عبرت ہے) جب ہ ان سے کہا گیا ایک وقت معین تک کا فائدہ اٹھاؤ

And in Thamud, when it was said to them, "Enjoy yourselves for a time."

Wa fee Samooda iz qeela lahum tamatta''oo hattaa heen

فَعَتَوۡا۟ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمۡ یَنظُرُونَ

پھر انہوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرتابی کی تو ان کو بجلی نے آ پکڑا اوروہ دیکھ رہے تھے

But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on.

Fa'ataw 'an amri Rabbihim fa akhazal humus saa'iqatu wa hum yanzuroon

فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مِن قِیَامࣲ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِینَ

پھر نہ تو وہ اٹھ ہی سکے اور نہ وہ بدلہ ہی لے سکے

And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves.

Famas tataa'oo min qiyaaminw wa maa kaanoo muntasireen

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحࣲ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ قَوۡمࣰا فَـٰسِقِینَ

اور قوم نوح کو اس سے پہلے (ہلاک کر دیا) بے شک وہ نافرمان لوگ تھے

And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.

Wa qawma Noohim min qablu innahum kaano qawman faasiqeen

وَٱلسَّمَاۤءَ بَنَیۡنَـٰهَا بِأَیۡی۟دࣲ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ

اور ہم نے آسمان کو قدرت سے بنایا اور ہم وسیع قدرت رہنے والے ہیں

And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.

Wassamaaa'a banainaa haa bi aydinw wa innaa lamoosi'oon

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَرَشۡنَـٰهَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَـٰهِدُونَ

اورہم نے ہی زمین کو بچھایا پھر ہم کیا خوب بچھانے والے ہیں

And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer.

Wal arda farashnaahaa fani'mal maahidoon

وَمِن كُلِّ شَیۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَا زَوۡجَیۡنِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

اور ہم نے ہی ہر چیز کا جوڑا پیدا کیا تاکہ تم غور کرو

And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.

Wa min kulli shai'in khalaqnaa zawjaini la'allakum tazakkaroon

فَفِرُّوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّی لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِیرࣱ مُّبِینࣱ

پھر الله کی طرف دوڑو بے شک میں تمہارے لیے الله کی طرف سے کھلم کھلا ڈرانے والا ہوں

So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.

Fafirrooo ilal laahi innee lakum minhu nazeerum mubeen

وَلَا تَجۡعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَۖ إِنِّی لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِیرࣱ مُّبِینࣱ

اور اللہ کے ساتھ کوئی دوسرا معبود نہ ٹھراؤ بےشک میں تمہارے لئے اس کی طرف سے کھلم کھلا ڈرانے والا ہوں

And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.

Wa laa taj'aloo ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhara innee lakum minhu nazeerum mubeen

كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ مَاۤ أَتَى ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٌ

اسی طرح ان سے پہلوں کے پا س بھی جب کوئی رسول آیا تو انہوں نے یہی کہا کہ یہ جادوگر یا دیوانہ ہے

Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman."

Kazaalika maaa atal lazeena min qablihim mir Rasoolin illaa qaaloo saahirun aw majnoon

أَتَوَاصَوۡا۟ بِهِۦۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ طَاغُونَ

کیا ایک دوسرے سے یہی کہ مرے تھے نہیں بلکہ وہ خود ہی سرکش ہیں

Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.

Atawaasaw bih; bal hum qawmun taaghoon

فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ فَمَاۤ أَنتَ بِمَلُومࣲ

پس آپ ان کی پرواہ نہ کیجیئے آپ پر کوئی الزام نہیں

So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed.

Fatawalla 'anhum famaaa anta bimaloom

وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ

اور نصیحت کرتے رہیئے بے شک ایمان والوں کو نصیحت نفع دیتی ہے

And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.

Wa zakkir fa innaz zikraa tanfa'ul mu'mineen

وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُونِ

اور میں نے جن اور انسان کو بنایا ہے تو صرف اپنی بندگی کے لیے

And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

Wa maa khalaqtul jinna wal insa illaa liya'budoon

مَاۤ أُرِیدُ مِنۡهُم مِّن رِّزۡقࣲ وَمَاۤ أُرِیدُ أَن یُطۡعِمُونِ

میں ان سے کوئی روزی نہیں چاہتا ہوں اور نہ ہی چاہتا ہوں کہ وہ مجھے کھلائیں

I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.

Maaa ureedu minhum mir rizqinw wa maaa ureedu anyyut'imoon

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلۡقُوَّةِ ٱلۡمَتِینُ

بے شک الله ہی بڑا روزی دینے والا زبردست طاقت والا ہے

Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength.

Innal laaha Huwar Razzaaqu Zul Quwwatil Mateen

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبࣰا مِّثۡلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصۡحَـٰبِهِمۡ فَلَا یَسۡتَعۡجِلُونِ

پس بے شک ان کے لیے جو ظالم ہیں حصہ ہے جیسا کہ ان کے ساتھیوں کا حصہ تھا تو وہ مجھ سے جلدی کا مطالبہ نہ کریں

And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me.

Fa inna lillazeena zalamoo zanoobam misla zanoobi ashaabihim falaa yasta'jiloon

فَوَیۡلࣱ لِّلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن یَوۡمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِی یُوعَدُونَ

پس ہلاکت ہے ان کے لیے جو کافر ہیں اس دن جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے

And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised.

Fawailul lillazeena kafaroo miny yawmihimul lazee yoo'adoon
