Surah Buruj with Urdu & English Translation and Audio - سورۃ البروج

وَٱلسَّمَاۤءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ

آسمان کی قسم ہے جس میں برج ہیں

By the sky containing great stars

Wassamaaa'i zaatil burooj

وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ

اوراس دن کی جس کا وعدہ کیا گیا ہے

And [by] the promised Day

Wal yawmil maw'ood

وَشَاهِدࣲ وَمَشۡهُودࣲ

اور اس دن کی جو حاضر ہوتا ہے اور اس کی جس کے پاس حاضر ہوتے ہیں

And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,

Wa shaahidinw wa mashhood

قُتِلَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ

خندقوں والے ہلاک ہوئے

Cursed were the companions of the trench

Qutila as haabul ukhdood

ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ

جس میں آگ تھی بہت ایندھن والی

[Containing] the fire full of fuel,

Annaari zaatil waqood

إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَیۡهَا قُعُودࣱ

جب کہ وہ اس کے کنارو ں پر بیٹھے ہوئے تھے

When they were sitting near it

Iz hum 'alaihaa qu'ood

وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا یَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ شُهُودࣱ

اور وہ ایمانداروں سے جو کچھ کر رہے تھے اس کو دیکھ رہے تھے

And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.

Wa hum 'alaa maa yaf'aloona bilmu 'mineena shuhood

وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّاۤ أَن یُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡحَمِیدِ

اور ان سے اسی کا توبدلہ لے رہے تھے کہ وہ الله زبردست خوبیوں والے پر ایمان لائے تھے

And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,

Wa maa naqamoo minhum illaaa aiyu'minoo billaahil 'azeezil Hameed

ٱلَّذِی لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ شَهِیدٌ

وہ کہ جس کے قبضہ میں آسمان اور زمین ہیں اور الله ہر چیز پر شاہد ہے

To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness.

Allazee lahoo mulkus samaawaati wal ard; wallaahu 'alaa kulli shai 'in Shaheed

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ یَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِیقِ

بے شک جنہوں نے ایمان دار مردوں اور ایمان دار عورتوں کو ستایا پھر توبہ نہ کی تو ان کے لیے جہنم کا عذاب ہے اور ان کے لیے جلانے والا عذاب ہے

Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.

Innal lazeena fatanul mu'mineena wal mu'minaati summa lam yatooboo falahum 'azaabu Jahannama wa lahum 'azaabul hareeq

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣱ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِیرُ

بے شک جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک کام بھی کیے ان کے لیے باغ ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.

Innal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lahum Jannaatun tajree min tahtihal anhaar; zaalikal fawzul kabeer

إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِیدٌ

بے شک تیرے رب کی پکڑ بھی سخت ہے

Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.

Inna batsha Rabbika lashadeed

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ یُبۡدِئُ وَیُعِیدُ

بے شک وہی پہلے پیدا کرتا ہے اور دوبارہ پیدا کرے گا

Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.

Innahoo Huwa yubdi'u wa yu'eed

وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ

اور وہی ہے بخشنے والا محبت کرنے والا

And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,

Wa Huwal Ghafoorul Wadood

ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِیدُ

عرش کا مالک بڑی شان والا

Honorable Owner of the Throne,

Zul 'Arshil Majeed

فَعَّالࣱ لِّمَا یُرِیدُ

جو چاہے کرنے والا

Effecter of what He intends.

Fa' 'aalul limaa yureed

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِیثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ

کیا آپ کے پاس لشکروں کا حال پہنچا

Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -

Hal ataaka hadeesul junood

فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ

فرعون اور ثمود کے

[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?

Fir'awna wa Samood

بَلِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِی تَكۡذِیبࣲ

بلکہ منکر تو جھٹلانے میں لگے ہوئے ہیں

But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,

Balil lazeena kafaroo fee takzeeb

وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَاۤىِٕهِم مُّحِیطُۢ

اور الله ہر طرف سے ان کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے

While Allah encompasses them from behind.

Wallaahu minw waraaa'ihim muheet

بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانࣱ مَّجِیدࣱ

بلکہ وہ قرآن ہے بڑی شان والا

But this is an honored Qur'an

Bal huwa Quraanum Majeed

فِی لَوۡحࣲ مَّحۡفُوظِۭ

لوح محفوظ میں (لکھا ہوا ہے)

[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.
