Surah Saff with Urdu & English Translation and Audio - سورۃ الصف

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ

جو مخلوقات آسمانو ں میں اور جو زمین میں ہے الله کی تسبیح کرتی ہے اور وہی غالب حکمت والا ہے

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Sabbaha lillaahi maa fisamaawaati wa maa fil ardi wa huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُونَ

اے ایمان والو کیو ں کہتے ہو جو تم کرتے نہیں

O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?

Yaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo lima taqooloona maa laa taf'aloon

كَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُونَ

الله کے نزدیک بڑی ناپسند بات ہے جو کہو اس کو کرو نہیں

Great is hatred in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.

Kabura maqtan 'indal laahi an taqooloo maa laa taf'aloon

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُحِبُّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِی سَبِیلِهِۦ صَفࣰّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنۡیَـٰنࣱ مَّرۡصُوصࣱ

بے شک الله تو ان کو پسند کرتا ہے جو اس کی راہ میں صف باندھ کر لڑتے ہیں گویا وہ سیسہ پلائی ہوئی دیوار ہے

Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly.

Innal laaha yuhibbul lazeena yuqaatiloona fee sabeelihee saffan kaannahum bunyaanum marsoos

وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِۦ یَـٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تُؤۡذُونَنِی وَقَد تَّعۡلَمُونَ أَنِّی رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَیۡكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوۤا۟ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا یَهۡدِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ

اور جب موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ اے میری قوم مجھےکیوں ستاتے ہو حالانکہ تم جانتے ہو کہ میں تمہاری طرف الله کا رسول ہوں پس جب وہ پھر گئے تو الله نے ان کے دل پھیر دیئے اور الله نافرمان لوگو ں کو ہدایت نہیں کرتا

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you harm me while you certainly know that I am the messenger of Allah to you?" And when they deviated, Allah caused their hearts to deviate. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.

Wa iz qaala Moosa liqawmihee yaa qawmi lima tu'zoonanee wa qat ta'lamoona annee Rasoolul laahi ilaikum falammaa zaaghooo azaaghal laahu quloobahum; wallaahu laa yahdil qawmal faasiqeen

وَإِذۡ قَالَ عِیسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ یَـٰبَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰ⁠ۤءِیلَ إِنِّی رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَیۡكُم مُّصَدِّقࣰا لِّمَا بَیۡنَ یَدَیَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَمُبَشِّرَۢا بِرَسُولࣲ یَأۡتِی مِنۢ بَعۡدِی ٱسۡمُهُۥۤ أَحۡمَدُۖ فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا سِحۡرࣱ مُّبِینࣱ

اور جب عیسیٰ بن مریم نے کہا اے بنی اسرائیل بے شک میں الله کا تمہاری طرف سے رسول ہوں تورات جو مجھ سے پہلے ہے اس کی تصدیق کرنے والا ہوں اور ایک رسول کی خوشخبری دینے والا ہوں جو میرے بعد آئے گا اس کا نام احمد ہو گا پس جب وہ واضح دلیلیں لے کر ان کے پاس آ گیا تو کہنے لگے یہ تو صریح جادو ہے

And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."

Wa iz qaala 'Eesab-nu-Mayama yaa Banee Israaa'eela innee Rasoolul laahi ilaikum musaddiqal limaa baina yadayya minat Tawraati wa mubashshiram bi Rasooliny yaatee mim ba'dis muhooo Ahmad; falammaa jaaa'ahum bil baiyinaati qaaloo haazaa sihrum mubeen

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ وَهُوَ یُدۡعَىٰۤ إِلَى ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمِۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا یَهۡدِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ

اور اس سے زیادہ کون ظالم ہے جو الله پر جھوٹ باندھے حالانکہ اسلام کی طرف اسے بلایا جارہا ہو اور ظالم لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں کرتا

And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah untruth while he is being invited to Islam. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

Wa man azlamu mimma nif taraa 'alal laahil kaziba wa huwa yad'aaa ilal Islaam; wallaahu laa yahdil qawmaz zaalimeen

یُرِیدُونَ لِیُطۡفِـُٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفۡوَ ٰ⁠هِهِمۡ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ

وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ الله کا نور اپنے مونہوں سے بجھا دیں اور الله اپنا نور پورا کر کے رہے گا اگرچہ کافر برا مانیں

They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.

Yureedoona liyutfi'oo nooral laahi bi afwaahimim wallaahu mutimmu noorihee wa law karihal kaafiroon

هُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَرۡسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَدِینِ ٱلۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّینِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ

وہی تو ہے جس نے اپنا رسول ہدایت اور سچا دین دے کر بھیجا تاکہ اس کو سب دینوں پر غالب کرے اگرچہ مشرک نا پسند کریں

It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although those who associate others with Allah dislike it.

Huwal lazee arsala Rasoolahoo bilhudaa wa deenil haqqi liyuzhirahoo 'alad deeni kullihee wa law karihal mushrikoon

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ تِجَـٰرَةࣲ تُنجِیكُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِیمࣲ

اے ایمان والو کیا میں تمہیں ایسی تجارت بتاؤں جو تمہیں دردناک عذاب سے نجات دے

O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment?

Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aammano hal adullukum 'alaa tijaaratin tunjeekum min 'azaabin aleem

تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُجَـٰهِدُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِكُمۡ وَأَنفُسِكُمۡۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمۡ خَیۡرࣱ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

تم الله اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اور تم الله کی راہ میں اپنے مالوں اور اپنی جانوں سے جہاد کرو یہی تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے اگر تم جانتے ہو

[It is that] you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know.

Tu'minoona billaahi wa Rasoolihee wa tujaahidoona fee sabeelil laahi bi amwaalikum wa anfusikum; zaalikum khairul lakum in kuntum ta'lamoon

یَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ ذُنُوبَكُمۡ وَیُدۡخِلۡكُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ وَمَسَـٰكِنَ طَیِّبَةࣰ فِی جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنࣲۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ

وہ تمہارے لیے تمہارے گناہ بخش دے گا اور تمہیں بہشتوں میں داخل کر ے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی اور پاکیزہ مکانوں میں ہمیشہ رہنے کے باغو ں میں یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے

He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment.

Yaghfir lakum zunoobakum wa yudkhilkum Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru wa masaakina taiyibatan fee Jannaati 'Ad; zaalikal fawzul 'Azeem

وَأُخۡرَىٰ تُحِبُّونَهَاۖ نَصۡرࣱ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَفَتۡحࣱ قَرِیبࣱۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ

اور دوسری بات جو تم پسند کرتے ہو الله کی طرف سے مدد ہے اور جلدی فتح اور ایمان والوں کو خوشخبری دے دے

And [you will obtain] another [favor] that you love - victory from Allah and an imminent conquest; and give good tidings to the believers.

Wa ukhraa tuhibboonahaa nasrum minal laahi wa fat hun qaree; wa bashshiril mu 'mineen

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوۤا۟ أَنصَارَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِیسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ لِلۡحَوَارِیِّـۧنَ مَنۡ أَنصَارِیۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِیُّونَ نَحۡنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِۖ فَـَٔامَنَت طَّاۤىِٕفَةࣱ مِّنۢ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰ⁠ۤءِیلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّاۤىِٕفَةࣱۖ فَأَیَّدۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُوا۟ ظَـٰهِرِینَ

ایمان والو الله کے مددگار ہو جاؤ جیسا کہ ابن مریم نے حواریوں سے کہا تھا کہ الله کی راہ میں میرا مددگار کون ہے حواریو ں نے کہا ہم الله کے مددگار ہیں پھر ایک گروہ بنی اسرائیل کا ایمان لایا اور ایک گروہ کافر ہو گیا پھر ہم نے ایمان داروں کو ان کے دشمنوں پر غالب کر دیا پھر تو وہی غالب ہو کر رہے

O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah, as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.

Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamaanoo koonooo ansaaral laahi kamaa qaala 'Eesab-nu-Maryama lil Hawaariyyeena man ansaareee ilal laah; qaalal Hawaariyyoona nahnu ansaa rul laahi fa aamanat taaa'ifatum mim Bannee Israaa'eela wa kafarat taaa'ifatun fa ayyadnal lazeena aammanoo 'alaa 'aduwwihim fa asbahoo zaahireen
