Surah Qiyamah with Urdu & English Translation and Audio - سورۃ القیامہ

لَاۤ أُقۡسِمُ بِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ

قیامت کے دن کی قسم ہے

I swear by the Day of Resurrection

Laaa uqsimu bi yawmil qiyaamah

وَلَاۤ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلنَّفۡسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ

اور پشیمان ہونے والے شخص کی قسم ہے

And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].

Wa laaa uqsimu bin nafsil lawwaamah

أَیَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجۡمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ

کیا انسان سمجھتا ہے کہ ہم اس کی ہڈیاں جمع نہ کریں گے

Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?

Ayahsabul insaanu al lan najm'a 'izaamah

بَلَىٰ قَـٰدِرِینَ عَلَىٰۤ أَن نُّسَوِّیَ بَنَانَهُۥ

ہاں ہم تو اس پر قادر ہیں کہ اس کی پور پور درست کر دیں

Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.

Balaa qaadireena 'alaaa an nusawwiya banaanah

بَلۡ یُرِیدُ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ لِیَفۡجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ

بلکہ انسان تو چاہتا ہے کہ آئندہ بھی نافرمانی کرتا رہے

But man desires to continue in sin.

Bal yureedul insaanu liyafjura amaamah

یَسۡـَٔلُ أَیَّانَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ

پوچھتا ہےکہ قیامت کا دن کب ہو گا

He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"

Yas'alu ayyyaana yawmul qiyaamah

فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ

پس جب آنکھیں چندھیا جائیں گی

So when vision is dazzled

Fa izaa bariqal basar

وَخَسَفَ ٱلۡقَمَرُ

اور چاند بے نور ہو جائے گا

And the moon darkens

We khasafal qamar

وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ

اور سورج اور چاند اکھٹے کیے جائیں گے

And the sun and the moon are joined,

Wa jumi'ash shamusu wal qamar

یَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ أَیۡنَ ٱلۡمَفَرُّ

اس دن انسان کہے گا کہ بھاگنے کی جگہ کہاں ہے

Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"

Yaqoolul insaanu yaw ma 'izin aynal mafarr

كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ

ہر گز نہیں کہیں پناہ نہیں

No! There is no refuge.

Kallaa laa wazar

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقَرُّ

اس دن آپ کے رب ہی کی طرف ٹھکانہ ہے

To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.

Ilaa rabbika yawma 'izinil mustaqarr

یُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ یَوۡمَىِٕذِۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ

اس دن انسان کو بتا دیا جائے گا کہ وہ کیا لایا اور کیا چھوڑ آیا

Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.

Yunabba 'ul insaanu yawma 'izim bimaa qaddama wa akhkhar

بَلِ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ بَصِیرَةࣱ

بلکہ انسان اپنے اوپر خود شاہد ہے

Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,

Balil insaanu 'alaa nafsihee baseerah

وَلَوۡ أَلۡقَىٰ مَعَاذِیرَهُۥ

گو وہ کتنے ہی بہانے پیش کرے

Even if he presents his excuses.

Wa law alqaa ma'aazeerah

لَا تُحَرِّكۡ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعۡجَلَ بِهِۦۤ

آپ (وحی ختم ہونے سے پہلے) قرآن پراپنی زبان نہ ہلایا کیجیئے تاکہ آپ اسے جلدی جلدی لیں

Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an.

Laa tuharrik bihee lisaa naka lita'jala bih

إِنَّ عَلَیۡنَا جَمۡعَهُۥ وَقُرۡءَانَهُۥ

بے شک اس کا جمع کرنا اور پڑھا دینا ہمارے ذمہ ہے

Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation.

Inna 'alainaa jam'ahoo wa qur aanah

فَإِذَا قَرَأۡنَـٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعۡ قُرۡءَانَهُۥ

پھر جب ہم ا سکی قرأت کر چکیں تو اس کی قرأت کا اتباع کیجیئے

So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.

Fa izaa qaraanaahu fattabi' qur aanah

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَیۡنَا بَیَانَهُۥ

پھر بے شک اس کا کھول کر بیان کرنا ہمارے ذمہ ہے

Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].

Summa inna 'alainaa bayaanah

كَلَّا بَلۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ

ہر گز نہیں بلکہ تم تو دنیا کو چاہتے ہو

No! But you love the immediate

Kallaa bal tuhibboonal 'aajilah

وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةَ

اور آخرت کو چھوڑتے ہو

And leave the Hereafter.

Wa tazaroonal Aakhirah

وُجُوهࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ نَّاضِرَةٌ

کئی چہرے اس دن تر و تازہ ہو ں گے

[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,

Wujoohuny yawma 'izin naadirah

إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةࣱ

اپنے رب کی طرف دیکھتے ہوں گے

Looking at their Lord.

Ilaa rabbihaa naazirah

وَوُجُوهࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذِۭ بَاسِرَةࣱ

اور کتنے چہرے اس دن اداس ہو ں گے

And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,

Wa wujoohuny yawma 'izim baasirah

تَظُنُّ أَن یُفۡعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةࣱ

خیال کر رہے ہوں گے کہ ان کے ساتھ کمر توڑ دینے والی سختی کی جائے گی

Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking.

Tazunnu any yuf'ala bihaa faaqirah

كَلَّاۤ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِیَ

نہیں نہیں جب کہ جان گلے تک پہنچ جائے گی

No! When the soul has reached the collar bones

Kallaaa izaa balaghatit taraaqee

وَقِیلَ مَنۡۜ رَاقࣲ

اورلوگ کہیں گے کوئی جھاڑنے والا ہے

And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?"

Wa qeela man raaq

وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡفِرَاقُ

اور وہ خیال کرے گا کہ یہ وقت جدائی کا ہے

And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation

Wa zanna annahul firaaq

وَٱلۡتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ

اور ایک پنڈلی دوسری پنڈلی سے لپٹ جائے گی

And the leg is wound about the leg,

Waltaffatis saaqu bissaaq

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ ٱلۡمَسَاقُ

تیرے رب کی طرف اس دن چلنا ہوگا

To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.

Ilaa rabbika yawma'izinil masaaq

فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ

پھر نہ تو اس نے تصدیق کی اور نہ نماز پڑھی

And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed.

Falaa saddaqa wa laa sallaa

وَلَـٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

بلکہ جھٹلایا اورمنہ موڑا

But [instead], he denied and turned away.

Wa laakin kazzaba wa tawalla

ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِهِۦ یَتَمَطَّىٰۤ

پھر اپنے گھر والوں کی طرف اکڑتا ہوا چلا گیا

And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].

Summa zahaba ilaaa ahlihee yatamatta

أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰ

(اے انسان) تیرے لیے افسوس پرافسوس ہے

Woe to you, and woe!

Awlaa laka fa awlaa

ثُمَّ أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰۤ

پھر تیرے لیے افسوس پر افسوس ہے

Then woe to you, and woe!

Summa awlaa laka fa awla

أَیَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ أَن یُتۡرَكَ سُدًى

کیاانسان یہ سمجھ رہا ہے کہ وہ یونہی چھوڑ دیا جائے گا

Does man think that he will be left neglected?

Ayahsabul insaanu anyytraka sudaa

أَلَمۡ یَكُ نُطۡفَةࣰ مِّن مَّنِیࣲّ یُمۡنَىٰ

کیا وہ ٹپکتی منی کی ایک بوند نہ تھا

Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?

Alam yaku nutfatam mim maniyyiny yumnaa

ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةࣰ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ

پھر وہ لوتھڑا بنا پھر الله نے اسے بنا کر ٹھیک کیا

Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

Summa kaana 'alaqata fakhalaq fasawwaa

فَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُ ٱلزَّوۡجَیۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰۤ

پھر اس نے مرد و عورت کا جوڑا بنایا

And made of him two mates, the male and the female.

Faja'ala minhuz zawjayniz zakara wal unsaa

أَلَیۡسَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰۤ أَن یُحۡـِۧیَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ

پھر کیا وہ الله مردے زندہ کردینے پر قادر نہیں

Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead?

Alaisa zaalika biqaadirin 'alaaa any yuhyiyal mawtaa
