Surah Nisa with Urdu & English Translation and Audio - سورۃ النساء

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسࣲ وَ ٰ⁠حِدَةࣲ وَخَلَقَ مِنۡهَا زَوۡجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنۡهُمَا رِجَالࣰا كَثِیرࣰا وَنِسَاۤءࣰۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِی تَسَاۤءَلُونَ بِهِۦ وَٱلۡأَرۡحَامَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ رَقِیبࣰا

اے لوگو اپنے رب سے ڈرو جس نے تمہیں ایک جان سے پیدا کیا اور اسی جان سے اس کا جوڑا بنایا اور ان دونوں سے بہت سے مرد اور عورتیں پھیلائیں اس اللہ سے ڈرو جس کا واسطہ دے کر تم ایک دوسرے اپنا حق مانگتے ہو اور رشتہ داری کے تعلقات کو بگاڑنے سے بچو بے شک الله تم پر نگرانی کر رہا ہے

O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.

Yaaa aiyuhan naasut taqoo Rabbakumul lazee khalaqakum min nafsinw waahidatinw wa khalaqa minhaa zawjahaa wa bas sa minhumaa rijaalan kaseeranw wa nisaaa'aa; wattaqul laahallazee tasaaa 'aloona bihee wal arhaam; innal laaha kaana 'alaikum Raqeeba

وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰۤ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَهُمۡۖ وَلَا تَتَبَدَّلُوا۟ ٱلۡخَبِیثَ بِٱلطَّیِّبِۖ وَلَا تَأۡكُلُوۤا۟ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَهُمۡ إِلَىٰۤ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِكُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حُوبࣰا كَبِیرࣰا

اوریتیموں کوان کے مال دے دو اور ناپاک کو پاک سے نہ بدلو اور ان کے مال اپنے مال کے ساتھ ملا کر نہ کھا جاؤ یہ بڑا گناہ ہے

And give to the orphans their properties and do not substitute the defective [of your own] for the good [of theirs]. And do not consume their properties into your own. Indeed, that is ever a great sin.

Wa aatul yataamaaa amwaalahum wa laa tatabad dalul khabeesa bittaiyibi wa laa taakulooo amwaalahum ilaaa amwaalikum; innahoo kaana hooban kabeeraa

وَإِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ أَلَّا تُقۡسِطُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ فَٱنكِحُوا۟ مَا طَابَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَاۤءِ مَثۡنَىٰ وَثُلَـٰثَ وَرُبَـٰعَۖ فَإِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ أَلَّا تَعۡدِلُوا۟ فَوَ ٰ⁠حِدَةً أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُكُمۡۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ أَدۡنَىٰۤ أَلَّا تَعُولُوا۟

اور اگر تم یتیم لڑکیوں سے بے انصافی کرنے سے ڈرتے ہوتوجوعورتیں تمہیں پسند آئیں ان میں سے دو دو تین تین چار چار سے نکاح کر لو اگر تمہیں خطرہ ہو کہ انصاف نہ کر سکو گے تو پھر ایک ہی سے نکاح کرو جو لونڈی تمہارے ملک میں ہو وہی سہی یہ طریقہ بے انصافی سے بچنے کے لیے زیادہ قریب ہے

And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].

Wa in khiftum allaa tuqsitoo fil yataamaa fankihoo maa taaba lakum minan nisaaa'i masnaa wa sulaasa wa rubaa'a fa'in khiftum allaa ta'diloo fawaahidatan aw maa malakat aimaanukum; zaalika adnaaa allaa ta'ooloo

وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلنِّسَاۤءَ صَدُقَـٰتِهِنَّ نِحۡلَةࣰۚ فَإِن طِبۡنَ لَكُمۡ عَن شَیۡءࣲ مِّنۡهُ نَفۡسࣰا فَكُلُوهُ هَنِیۤـࣰٔا مَّرِیۤـࣰٔا

اور عورتوں کو ان کے مہر خوشی سے دے دو پھر اگر وہ اس میں سے اپنی خوشی سے تمہیں کچھ معاف کر دیں تو تم اسے مزہ دار خوشگوار سمجھ کر کھاؤ

And give the women [upon marriage] their [bridal] gifts graciously. But if they give up willingly to you anything of it, then take it in satisfaction and ease.

Wa aatun nisaaa'a sadu qaatihinna nihlah; fa in tibna lakum 'an shai'im minhu nafsan fakuloohu hanee'am mareee'aa

وَلَا تُؤۡتُوا۟ ٱلسُّفَهَاۤءَ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَكُمُ ٱلَّتِی جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ قِیَـٰمࣰا وَٱرۡزُقُوهُمۡ فِیهَا وَٱكۡسُوهُمۡ وَقُولُوا۟ لَهُمۡ قَوۡلࣰا مَّعۡرُوفࣰا

اور اپنے وہ مال جنہیں الله نے تمہاری زندگی کے قیام کا ذریعہ بنایا ہے بے سمجھو کے حوالے نہ کرو البتہ انہیں ان مالوں سے کھلاتے او رپہناتے رہو اور انہیں نصیحت کی بات کہتے رہو

And do not give the weak-minded your property, which Allah has made a means of sustenance for you, but provide for them with it and clothe them and speak to them words of appropriate kindness.

Wa laa tu'tus sufahaaa'a amwaalakumul latee ja'alal laahu lakum qiyaamanw-warzuqoohum feehaa waksoohum wa qooloo lahum qawlam ma'roofaa

وَٱبۡتَلُوا۟ ٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا بَلَغُوا۟ ٱلنِّكَاحَ فَإِنۡ ءَانَسۡتُم مِّنۡهُمۡ رُشۡدࣰا فَٱدۡفَعُوۤا۟ إِلَیۡهِمۡ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَهُمۡۖ وَلَا تَأۡكُلُوهَاۤ إِسۡرَافࣰا وَبِدَارًا أَن یَكۡبَرُوا۟ۚ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِیࣰّا فَلۡیَسۡتَعۡفِفۡۖ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِیرࣰا فَلۡیَأۡكُلۡ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۚ فَإِذَا دَفَعۡتُمۡ إِلَیۡهِمۡ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَهُمۡ فَأَشۡهِدُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِمۡۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ حَسِیبࣰا

اور یتیموں کی آزمائش کرتے رہو یہاں تک کہ وہ نکاح کی عمر کو پہنچ جائیں پھر اگر ان میں ہوشیاری دیکھو تو ان کے مال ان کے حوالے کر دو اور انصاف کی حد سے تجاوز کر کے یتیموں کا مال نہ کھا جاؤ اور ان کے بڑے ہونے کے ڈر سے ان کا مال جلدی نہ کھاؤ اور جسے ضرورت نہ ہو تو وہ یتیم کے مال سے بچے او رجو حاجت مند ہو تو مناسب مقدار کھالے پھر جب ان کے مال ان کے حوالے کر و تو اس پر گواہ بنا لو اور حساب لینے کے لیے الله کافی ہے

And test the orphans [in their abilities] until they reach marriageable age. Then if you perceive in them sound judgement, release their property to them. And do not consume it excessively and quickly, [anticipating] that they will grow up. And whoever, [when acting as guardian], is self-sufficient should refrain [from taking a fee]; and whoever is poor - let him take according to what is acceptable. Then when you release their property to them, bring witnesses upon them. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.

Wabtalul yataamaa hattaaa izaa balaghun nikaaha fa in aanastum minhum rushdan fad fa'ooo ilaihim amwaalahum wa laa taa kuloohaaa israafanw wa bidaaran ai yakbaroo; wa mai kaana ghaniyyan falyasta' fif wa mai kaana faqeeran falyaakul bilma'roof; fa izaa dafa'tum ilaihim amwaalahum fa'ashhidoo 'alaihim; wa kafaa billaahi Haseeba

لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصِیبࣱ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ ٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠لِدَانِ وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبُونَ وَلِلنِّسَاۤءِ نَصِیبࣱ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ ٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠لِدَانِ وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبُونَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنۡهُ أَوۡ كَثُرَۚ نَصِیبࣰا مَّفۡرُوضࣰا

مردوں کا اس مال میں حصہ ہے جو ماں باپ اور رشتہ داروں نے چھوڑا ہو اور عورتوں کا بھی اس مال میں حصہ ہے جو ماں باپ اور رشتہ دارو ں نے چھوڑا ہو تھوڑا ہو یہ بہت یہ حصہ مقرر ہے

For men is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, and for women is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, be it little or much - an obligatory share.

Lirrijaali naseebum mimmaa tarakal waalidaani wal aqraboona wa lin nisaaa'i naseebum mimmaa tarakal waalidaani wal aqraboona mimmaa qalla minhu aw kasur; naseebam mafroodaa

وَإِذَا حَضَرَ ٱلۡقِسۡمَةَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَـٰكِینُ فَٱرۡزُقُوهُم مِّنۡهُ وَقُولُوا۟ لَهُمۡ قَوۡلࣰا مَّعۡرُوفࣰا

اور جب تقسیم کے وقت رشتہ دار اور یتیم اور مسکین آئيں تو اس مال میں سے کچھ انہیں بھی دے دو اور ان کو معقول بات کہہ دو

And when [other] relatives and orphans and the needy are present at the [time of] division, then provide for them [something] out of the estate and speak to them words of appropriate kindness.

Wa izaa hadaral qismata ulul qurbaa walyataamaa walmasaakeenu farzuqoohum minhu wa qooloo lahum qawlam ma'roofaa

وَلۡیَخۡشَ ٱلَّذِینَ لَوۡ تَرَكُوا۟ مِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ ذُرِّیَّةࣰ ضِعَـٰفًا خَافُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِمۡ فَلۡیَتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلۡیَقُولُوا۟ قَوۡلࣰا سَدِیدًا

اور ایسے لوگو ں کو ڈرنا چاہيے اگر اپنے بعد چھوٹے چھوٹے بچے چھوڑ جائیں جن کی انہیں فکر ہو ان لوگو ں کو چاہیئے کہ خدا سے ڈریں اور سیدھی بات کہیں

And let those [executors and guardians] fear [injustice] as if they [themselves] had left weak offspring behind and feared for them. So let them fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice.

Walyakhshal lazeena law tarakoo min khalfihim zurriyyatan di'aafan khaafoo 'alaihim falyattaqul laaha walyaqooloo qawlan sadeedaa

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَأۡكُلُونَ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَ ٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ ظُلۡمًا إِنَّمَا یَأۡكُلُونَ فِی بُطُونِهِمۡ نَارࣰاۖ وَسَیَصۡلَوۡنَ سَعِیرࣰا

بے شک جو لوگ یتیموں کا مال ناحق کھاتے ہیں وہ اپنے پیٹ آگ سے بھرتے ہیں اور عنقریب آگ میں داخل ہوں گے

Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze.

Innal lazeena yaakuloona amwaalal yataamaa zulman innamaa yaakuloona fee butoonihim Naaranw-wa sayaslawna sa'eeraa

یُوصِیكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِیۤ أَوۡلَـٰدِكُمۡۖ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثۡلُ حَظِّ ٱلۡأُنثَیَیۡنِۚ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَاۤءࣰ فَوۡقَ ٱثۡنَتَیۡنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَۖ وَإِن كَانَتۡ وَ ٰ⁠حِدَةࣰ فَلَهَا ٱلنِّصۡفُۚ وَلِأَبَوَیۡهِ لِكُلِّ وَ ٰ⁠حِدࣲ مِّنۡهُمَا ٱلسُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُۥ وَلَدࣱۚ فَإِن لَّمۡ یَكُن لَّهُۥ وَلَدࣱ وَوَرِثَهُۥۤ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ ٱلثُّلُثُۚ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُۥۤ إِخۡوَةࣱ فَلِأُمِّهِ ٱلسُّدُسُۚ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ وَصِیَّةࣲ یُوصِی بِهَاۤ أَوۡ دَیۡنٍۗ ءَابَاۤؤُكُمۡ وَأَبۡنَاۤؤُكُمۡ لَا تَدۡرُونَ أَیُّهُمۡ أَقۡرَبُ لَكُمۡ نَفۡعࣰاۚ فَرِیضَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمࣰا

الله تعالیٰ تمہاری اولاد کے حق میں تمہیں حکم دیتا ہے کہ ایک مرد کا حصہ دوعورتوں کے برابر ہے پھر اگر دو سے زاید لڑکیاں ہوں تو ا ن کے لیے دو تہائی اس مال میں سے ہے جو میت نے چھوڑا اور اگر ایک ہی لڑکی ہو تو اس کے لیے آدھا ہے اور اگر میت کی اولاد ہے تو اس کے والدین میں سے ہر ایک کو کل مال کا چھٹا حصہ ملنا چاہیئے اور اگر اس کی کوئی اولاد نہیں اور ماں باپ ہی اس کے وارث ہیں تو اس کی ماں کا ایک تہائی حصہ ہے پھر اگر میت کے بھائی بہن بھی ہوں تو اس کی ماں کا چھٹا حصہ ہے (یہ حصہ اس) وصیت کے بعد ہوگا جو وہ کر گیا تھا اور بعد ادا کرنے قرض کے تم نہیں جانتے تمہارے باپوں اور تمہارے بیٹوں میں سے کون تمہیں زیادہ نفع پہنچانے والا ہے الله کی طرف سے یہ حصہ مقرر کیا ہوا ہے بے شک الله خبردار حکمت والا ہے

Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females. But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of one's estate. And if there is only one, for her is half. And for one's parents, to each one of them is a sixth of his estate if he left children. But if he had no children and the parents [alone] inherit from him, then for his mother is one third. And if he had brothers [or sisters], for his mother is a sixth, after any bequest he [may have] made or debt. Your parents or your children - you know not which of them are nearest to you in benefit. [These shares are] an obligation [imposed] by Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

Yooseekumul laahu feee awlaadikum liz zakari mislu hazzil unsayayn; fa in kunna nisaaa'an fawqas nataini falahunna suhusaa maa taraka wa in kaanat waahidatan falahan nisf; wa li abawaihi likulli waahidim minhumas sudusu mimmma taraka in kaana lahoo walad; fa il lam yakul lahowaladunw wa warisahooo abawaahu fali ummihis sulus; fa in kaana lahoo ikhwatun fali ummihis sudus; mim ba'di wasiyyatiny yoosee bihaaa aw dayn; aabaaa'ukum wa abnaaa'ukum laa tadroona aiyuhum aqrabu lakum naf'aa; fareedatam minallaah; innal laaha kaana 'Aleeman Hakeemaa

۞ وَلَكُمۡ نِصۡفُ مَا تَرَكَ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جُكُمۡ إِن لَّمۡ یَكُن لَّهُنَّ وَلَدࣱۚ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدࣱ فَلَكُمُ ٱلرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكۡنَۚ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ وَصِیَّةࣲ یُوصِینَ بِهَاۤ أَوۡ دَیۡنࣲۚ وَلَهُنَّ ٱلرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكۡتُمۡ إِن لَّمۡ یَكُن لَّكُمۡ وَلَدࣱۚ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ وَلَدࣱ فَلَهُنَّ ٱلثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكۡتُمۚ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ وَصِیَّةࣲ تُوصُونَ بِهَاۤ أَوۡ دَیۡنࣲۗ وَإِن كَانَ رَجُلࣱ یُورَثُ كَلَـٰلَةً أَوِ ٱمۡرَأَةࣱ وَلَهُۥۤ أَخٌ أَوۡ أُخۡتࣱ فَلِكُلِّ وَ ٰ⁠حِدࣲ مِّنۡهُمَا ٱلسُّدُسُۚ فَإِن كَانُوۤا۟ أَكۡثَرَ مِن ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ فَهُمۡ شُرَكَاۤءُ فِی ٱلثُّلُثِۚ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ وَصِیَّةࣲ یُوصَىٰ بِهَاۤ أَوۡ دَیۡنٍ غَیۡرَ مُضَاۤرࣲّۚ وَصِیَّةࣰ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمٌ حَلِیمࣱ

جو مال تمہارحی عورتیں چھوڑ مریں اس میں تمہارا آدھا حصہ ہے بشرطیکہ ان کی اولاد نہ ہو او راگر ان کی اولاد ہو تو اس میں سےجو چھوڑ جائیں ایک چوتھائي تمہاری ہے اس وصیت کے بعد جو وہ کر جائیں یا قرض کے بعد اور عورتوں کے لیے چوتھائی مال ہے جو تم چھوڑ کر مرو بشرطیکہ تمہاری اولاد نہ ہوپس اگر تمہاری اولاد ہو تو جو تم نے چھوڑا اس میں ان کا آٹھواں حصہ ہے اس وصیت کے بعد جو تم کر جاؤ یا قرض کے بعد اوراگر وہ مرد یا عورت جس کی یہ میراث ہے باپ بیٹا کچھ نہیں رکھتا اور اس میت کا ایک بھائي یا بہن ہے تو دونوں میں سے ہر ایک کا چھٹا حصہ ہے پس اگر اس سے زیادہ ہوں تو ایک تہائی میں سب شریک ہیں وصیت کی بات جوہو چکی ہو یا قرض کے بعد بشرطیکہ اورروں کا نقصان نہ ہو یہ الله کا حکم ہے اور الله جاننے والا تحمل کرنے والا ہے

And for you is half of what your wives leave if they have no child. But if they have a child, for you is one fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they [may have] made or debt. And for the wives is one fourth if you leave no child. But if you leave a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt. And if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a sixth. But if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment [caused]. [This is] an ordinance from Allah, and Allah is Knowing and Forbearing.

Wa lakum nisfu maa taraka azwaajukum il lam yakul lahunna walad; fa in kaana lahunna waladun falakumur rub'u mimmaa tarakna mim ba'di wasiyyatiny yooseena bihaaa aw dayn; wa lahunnar rubu'u mimmaa tarakum il lam yakul lakum walad; fa in kaana lakum waladun falahunnas sumunu mimmaa taraktum; mim ba'di wasiyyatin toosoona bihaaa aw dayn; wa in kaana rajuluny yoorasu kalaalatan awim ra atunw wa lahooo akhun aw ukhtun falikulli waahidim minhumas sudus; fa in kaanooo aksara min zaalika fahum shurakaaa'u fissulusi mim ba'di wasiyyatiny yoosaa bihaaa aw dainin ghaira mudaaarr; wasiyyatam minal laah; wallaahu 'Aleemun Haleem

تِلۡكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن یُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ یُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۚ وَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ

یہ الله کی باندھی ہوئی حدیں ہیں اور جو شخص الله اور اس کے رسول کے حکم پر چلے اسے بہشتوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور یہی ہے بڑی کامیابی

These are the limits [set by] Allah, and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will be admitted by Him to gardens [in Paradise] under which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein; and that is the great attainment.

Tilka hudoodul laah; wa mai yuti'il laaha wa Rasoolahoo yudkhilhu Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa; wa zaalikal fawzul 'azeem

وَمَن یَعۡصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَیَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَهُۥ یُدۡخِلۡهُ نَارًا خَـٰلِدࣰا فِیهَا وَلَهُۥ عَذَابࣱ مُّهِینࣱ

اور جو شخص الله اور اس کے رسول کی نافرمانی کرے اوراس کی حدوں سے نکل جائے اسے آگ میں ڈالے گا اس میں ہمیشہ رہے گا اور اس کے لیے ذلت کا عذاب ہے

And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and transgresses His limits - He will put him into the Fire to abide eternally therein, and he will have a humiliating punishment.

Wa mai ya'sil laaha wa Rasoolahoo wa yata'adda hudoodahoo yudkhilhu Naaran khaalidan feehaa wa lahoo 'azaabum muheen

وَٱلَّـٰتِی یَأۡتِینَ ٱلۡفَـٰحِشَةَ مِن نِّسَاۤىِٕكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَشۡهِدُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِنَّ أَرۡبَعَةࣰ مِّنكُمۡۖ فَإِن شَهِدُوا۟ فَأَمۡسِكُوهُنَّ فِی ٱلۡبُیُوتِ حَتَّىٰ یَتَوَفَّىٰهُنَّ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ أَوۡ یَجۡعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِیلࣰا

اور تمہاری عورتوں میں سے جوکوئی بدکاری کرے ان پر اپنوں میں سے چار مرد گواہ لاؤ پھر اگر وہ گواہی دے دیں تو ان عورتوں کو ان گھروں میں بند رکھو یہاں تک کہ انہیں موت آ جائے یا الله ان کے لیے کوئی راستہ نکال دے

Those who commit unlawful sexual intercourse of your women - bring against them four [witnesses] from among you. And if they testify, confine the guilty women to houses until death takes them or Allah ordains for them [another] way.

Wallaatee yaateenal faahishata min nisaaa'ikum fastashhidoo 'alaihinna arba'atam minkum fa in shahidoo fa amsikoohunna fil buyooti hatta yatawaffaa hunnal mawtu aw yaj'alal laahu lahunna sabeelaa

وَٱلَّذَانِ یَأۡتِیَـٰنِهَا مِنكُمۡ فَـَٔاذُوهُمَاۖ فَإِن تَابَا وَأَصۡلَحَا فَأَعۡرِضُوا۟ عَنۡهُمَاۤۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ تَوَّابࣰا رَّحِیمًا

اور تم میں سے جو دو مرد وہی بدکاری کریں تو ان کو تکلیف دو پھر اگر وہ توبہ کریں اور اپنی اصلاح کرلیں تو انہیں چھوڑ دو بےشک الله توبہ قبول کرنے والا مہربان ہے

And the two who commit it among you, dishonor them both. But if they repent and correct themselves, leave them alone. Indeed, Allah is ever Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

Wallazaani yaatiyaanihaa minkum fa aazoohumaa fa in taabaa wa aslahaa fa a'ridoo 'anhumaaa; innal laaha kaana Tawwaabar Raheema

إِنَّمَا ٱلتَّوۡبَةُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ لِلَّذِینَ یَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلسُّوۤءَ بِجَهَـٰلَةࣲ ثُمَّ یَتُوبُونَ مِن قَرِیبࣲ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ یَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهِمۡۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمࣰا

الله پر توبہ قبول کرنے کا حق انہیں لوگو ں کے لیے ہے جو جہالت کی وجہ سے برا کام کرتے ہیں اس کے بعد جلد ہی توبہ کر لیتے ہیں ان لوگو ں کو الله معاف کر دیتا ہے اور الله سب کچھ جاننے والا دانا ہے

The repentance accepted by Allah is only for those who do wrong in ignorance [or carelessness] and then repent soon after. It is those to whom Allah will turn in forgiveness, and Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

Innamat tawbatu 'alallaahi lillazeena ya'maloonas sooo'a bijahaalatin summa yatooboona min qareebin faulaaika yatoobul laahu 'alaihim; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman Hakeemaa

وَلَیۡسَتِ ٱلتَّوۡبَةُ لِلَّذِینَ یَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلسَّیِّـَٔاتِ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ قَالَ إِنِّی تُبۡتُ ٱلۡـَٔـٰنَ وَلَا ٱلَّذِینَ یَمُوتُونَ وَهُمۡ كُفَّارٌۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لَهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِیمࣰا

اور ان لوگوں کی توبہ قبول نہیں ہے جو برے کام کرتےرہتے ہیں یہاں تک کہ جب ان میں سے کسی کی موت کا وقت آ جاتا ہے اس وقت کہتا ہے کہ اب میں توبہ کرتا ہوں اوراسی طرح ان لوگو ں کی توبہ قبول نہیں ہے جو کفر کی حالت میں مرتے ہیں ان کے لیے ہم نے دردناک عذاب تیار کیا ہے

But repentance is not [accepted] of those who [continue to] do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "Indeed, I have repented now," or of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.

Wa laisatit tawbatu lillazeena ya'maloonas saiyiaati hattaaa izaa hadara ahadahumul mawtu qaala innee tubtul 'aana wa lallazeena yamootoona wa hum kuffaar; ulaaa'ika a'tadnaa lahum 'azaaban aleemaa

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا یَحِلُّ لَكُمۡ أَن تَرِثُوا۟ ٱلنِّسَاۤءَ كَرۡهࣰاۖ وَلَا تَعۡضُلُوهُنَّ لِتَذۡهَبُوا۟ بِبَعۡضِ مَاۤ ءَاتَیۡتُمُوهُنَّ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَأۡتِینَ بِفَـٰحِشَةࣲ مُّبَیِّنَةࣲۚ وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۚ فَإِن كَرِهۡتُمُوهُنَّ فَعَسَىٰۤ أَن تَكۡرَهُوا۟ شَیۡـࣰٔا وَیَجۡعَلَ ٱللَّهُ فِیهِ خَیۡرࣰا كَثِیرࣰا

اے ایمان والو! تمہیں یہ حلال نہیں کہ زبردستی عورتوں کو میراث میں لے لو اور ان کو اس واسطے نہ روکے رکھو کہ ان سے کچھ اپنا دیا ہوا مال واپس لے لو ہاں اگر وہ کسی صریح بدچلنی کا ارتکاب کریں اور عورتوں کے ساتھ اچھی طرح سے زندگی بسر کرو اگر وہ تمہیں نا پسند ہوں تو ممکن ہے کہ تمہیں ایک چیز پسند نہ آئے مگر الله نے اس میں بہت کچھ بھلائی رکھی ہو

O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa yahillu lakum an tarisun nisaaa'a karhan wa laa ta'duloohunna litazhaboo biba'di maaa aataitumoohunna illaaa ai yaateena bifaahishatim bubaiyinah; wa 'aashiroo hunna bilma'roof; fa in karihtumoohunna fa'asaaa an takrahoo shai'anw wa yaj'alal laahu feehi khairan kaseeraa

وَإِنۡ أَرَدتُّمُ ٱسۡتِبۡدَالَ زَوۡجࣲ مَّكَانَ زَوۡجࣲ وَءَاتَیۡتُمۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُنَّ قِنطَارࣰا فَلَا تَأۡخُذُوا۟ مِنۡهُ شَیۡـًٔاۚ أَتَأۡخُذُونَهُۥ بُهۡتَـٰنࣰا وَإِثۡمࣰا مُّبِینࣰا

اور اگر تم ایک عورت کی جگہ دوسری عورت کو بدلنا چاہو اور ایک کو بہت سا مال دے چکے ہو تو اس میں سے کچھ بھی واپس نہ لو کیا تم اسے بہتان لگا کر اور صریح ظلم کر کے واپس لو گے

But if you want to replace one wife with another and you have given one of them a great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would you take it in injustice and manifest sin?

Wa in arattumustib daala zawjim makaana zawjin wa aataitum ihdaahunna qintaaran falaa taakhuzoo minhu shai'aa; ataakhuzoonahoo buhtaannanw wa ismam mubeenaa

وَكَیۡفَ تَأۡخُذُونَهُۥ وَقَدۡ أَفۡضَىٰ بَعۡضُكُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ وَأَخَذۡنَ مِنكُم مِّیثَـٰقًا غَلِیظࣰا

تم اسے کیوں کر لے سکتے ہو جب کہ تم میں سے ہر ایک دوسرے سے لطف اندوز ہو چکا ہے اور وہ عورتیں تم سے پختہ عہد لے چکی ہیں

And how could you take it while you have gone in unto each other and they have taken from you a solemn covenant?

Wa kaifa taakhuzoonahoo wa qad afdaa ba'dukum ilaa ba'dinw wa akhazna minkum meesaaqan ghaleezaa

وَلَا تَنكِحُوا۟ مَا نَكَحَ ءَابَاۤؤُكُم مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَاۤءِ إِلَّا مَا قَدۡ سَلَفَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَـٰحِشَةࣰ وَمَقۡتࣰا وَسَاۤءَ سَبِیلًا

ان عورتوں سے نکاح نہ کرو جن سے تمہارے ماں باپ نکاح کر چکے ہیں مگر جو پہلے ہو چکا بے حیائی ہے اور غضب کا کام ہے اور برا چلن ہے

And do not marry those [women] whom your fathers married, except what has already occurred. Indeed, it was an immorality and hateful [to Allah] and was evil as a way.

Wa laa tankihoo maa nakaha aabaaa'ukum minan nisaaa'i illaa maa qad salaf; inahoo kaana faahishatanw wa maqtanw wa saaa'a sabeelaa

حُرِّمَتۡ عَلَیۡكُمۡ أُمَّهَـٰتُكُمۡ وَبَنَاتُكُمۡ وَأَخَوَ ٰ⁠تُكُمۡ وَعَمَّـٰتُكُمۡ وَخَـٰلَـٰتُكُمۡ وَبَنَاتُ ٱلۡأَخِ وَبَنَاتُ ٱلۡأُخۡتِ وَأُمَّهَـٰتُكُمُ ٱلَّـٰتِیۤ أَرۡضَعۡنَكُمۡ وَأَخَوَ ٰ⁠تُكُم مِّنَ ٱلرَّضَـٰعَةِ وَأُمَّهَـٰتُ نِسَاۤىِٕكُمۡ وَرَبَـٰۤىِٕبُكُمُ ٱلَّـٰتِی فِی حُجُورِكُم مِّن نِّسَاۤىِٕكُمُ ٱلَّـٰتِی دَخَلۡتُم بِهِنَّ فَإِن لَّمۡ تَكُونُوا۟ دَخَلۡتُم بِهِنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَحَلَـٰۤىِٕلُ أَبۡنَاۤىِٕكُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ مِنۡ أَصۡلَـٰبِكُمۡ وَأَن تَجۡمَعُوا۟ بَیۡنَ ٱلۡأُخۡتَیۡنِ إِلَّا مَا قَدۡ سَلَفَۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا

تم پر تمہاری مائیں اور بیٹیاں اور بہنیں اور پھوپھیاں اور خالائیں اور بھتیجیاں اور بھانجیاں اور جن ماؤں نے تمہیں دودھ پلایا اور تمہاری دودھ شریک بہنیں اور تمہاری عورتوں کی مائیں اور ان کی بیٹیاں جنہوں نے تمہاری گود میں پرورش پائی ہے ان بیویو ں کی لڑکیاں جن سے تمہار تعلق زن و شو ہو چکاہے اور اگر تعلق زن و شو نہ ہوا ہو تو تم پر اس نکاح میں کچھ گناہ نہیں اور تمہارے بیٹو ں کی عورتیں جو تمہاری پشت سے ہیں یہ سب عورتیں تم پر حرام ہیں اور دو بہنوں کو (ایک نکاح میں) اکھٹا کرنا حرام ہے مگر جو پہلے ہو چکا بے شک الله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

Prohibited to you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take [in marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

Hurrimat 'alaikum umma haatukum wa bannaatukum wa akhawaatukum wa 'ammaatukum wa khaalaatukum wa banaatul akhi wa banaatul ukhti wa ummahaatu kumul laateee arda' nakum wa akhawaatukum minarradaa'ati wa ummahaatu nisaaa'ikum wa rabaaa'i bukumul laatee fee hujoorikum min nisaaa'ikumul laatee dakhaltum bihinna Fa il lam takoonoo dakhaltum bihina falaa junaaha 'alaikum wa halaaa'ilu abnaaa'ikumul lazeena min aslaabikum wa an tajma'oo bainal ukhtaini illaa maa qad salaf; innallaaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheema

۞ وَٱلۡمُحۡصَنَـٰتُ مِنَ ٱلنِّسَاۤءِ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُكُمۡۖ كِتَـٰبَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكُمۡۚ وَأُحِلَّ لَكُم مَّا وَرَاۤءَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمۡ أَن تَبۡتَغُوا۟ بِأَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِكُم مُّحۡصِنِینَ غَیۡرَ مُسَـٰفِحِینَۚ فَمَا ٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم بِهِۦ مِنۡهُنَّ فَـَٔاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ فَرِیضَةࣰۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فِیمَا تَرَ ٰ⁠ضَیۡتُم بِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱلۡفَرِیضَةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمࣰا

اور خاوند والی عورتیں مگر تمہارے ہاتھ جن کے مالک ہو جائیں یہ الله کا قانون تم پر لازم ہے اور ان کے سوا تم پرسب عورتیں حلال ہیں بشرطیکہ انہیں اپنے مال کے بدلے میں طلب کرو ایسے حال میں کہ نکاح کرنے والے ہو نہ یہ کہ آزاد شہوت رانی کرنے لگو پھر ان عورتوں میں سے جسے تم کام میں لائے ہو تو ان کے حق جو مقرر ہوئے ہیں وہ انہیں دے دو البتہ مہر کے مقرر ہو جانے کے بعد آپس کی رضا مندی سے باہمی کوئی سمجھوتہ ہو جائے تو اس میں کوئی گناہ نہیں بے شک الله خبردار حکمت والا ہے

And [also prohibited to you are all] married women except those your right hands possess. [This is] the decree of Allah upon you. And lawful to you are [all others] beyond these, [provided] that you seek them [in marriage] with [gifts from] your property, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse. So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, give them their due compensation as an obligation. And there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

Walmuhsanaatu minan nisaaa'i illaa maa malakat aimaanukum kitaabal laahi 'alaikum; wa uhilla lakum maa waraaa'a zaalikum an tabtaghoo bi amwaali kum muhsineena ghaira musaa fiheen; famastamta'tum bihee minhunna fa aatoohunna ujoorahunna fareedah; wa laa junaaha 'alaikum feemaa taraadaitum bihee mim ba'dil fareedah; innal laaha kaana 'Aleeman Hakeemaa

وَمَن لَّمۡ یَسۡتَطِعۡ مِنكُمۡ طَوۡلًا أَن یَنكِحَ ٱلۡمُحۡصَنَـٰتِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِ فَمِن مَّا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُكُم مِّن فَتَیَـٰتِكُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِۚ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِإِیمَـٰنِكُمۚ بَعۡضُكُم مِّنۢ بَعۡضࣲۚ فَٱنكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذۡنِ أَهۡلِهِنَّ وَءَاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ مُحۡصَنَـٰتٍ غَیۡرَ مُسَـٰفِحَـٰتࣲ وَلَا مُتَّخِذَ ٰ⁠تِ أَخۡدَانࣲۚ فَإِذَاۤ أُحۡصِنَّ فَإِنۡ أَتَیۡنَ بِفَـٰحِشَةࣲ فَعَلَیۡهِنَّ نِصۡفُ مَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُحۡصَنَـٰتِ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِیَ ٱلۡعَنَتَ مِنكُمۡۚ وَأَن تَصۡبِرُوا۟ خَیۡرࣱ لَّكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ

اور جو کوئی تم میں سے اس بات کی طاقت نہ رکھے کہ خاندانی مسلمان عورتیں نکاح میں لائے تو تمہاری ان لونڈیو ں میں سے کسی سے نکاح کر لے جو تمہارے قبضے میں ہوں اور ایماندار بھی ہوں اور الله تمہارے ایمانو ں کا حال خوب جانتا ہے تم آپس میں ایک ہو لہذا ان کے مالکوں کی اجازت سے ان سے نکاح کر لو اور دستور کے موافق ان کے مہر دے دو در آنحالیکہ نکاح میں آنے والیاں ہو ں آزاد شہوت رانیاں کرنے والیاں نہ ہوں اور نہ چھپی یاری کرنے والیاں پھر جب وہ قید نکاح میں آجائیں پھر اگر بے حیائی کا کام کریں تو ان پرآدھی سزاہے جو خاندانی عورتوں پر مقرر کی گئی ہے یہ سہولت اس کیلئے ہے جوکوئی تم سے تکلیف میں پڑنے سے دڑےاور صبر کروتو تمہارےحق میں بہتر ہے اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And whoever among you cannot [find] the means to marry free, believing women, then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of believing slave girls. And Allah is most knowing about your faith. You [believers] are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due compensation according to what is acceptable. [They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers. But once they are sheltered in marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment for free [unmarried] women. This [allowance] is for him among you who fears sin, but to be patient is better for you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Wa mal lam yastati' minkum tawlan ai yankihal muhsanaatil mu'minaati famimmaa malakat aimaanukum min fatayaatikumul mu'minaat; wallaahu a'lamu bi eemaanikum; ba'dukum mim ba'd; fankihoohunna bi izni ahlihinna wa aatoohunna ujoorahunna bilma'roofi muhsanaatin ghaira musaa fihaatinw wa laa muttakhizaati akhdaan; fa izaaa uhsinna fa in ataina bifaahi shatin fa'alaihinnna nisfu maa 'alal muhsanaati minal 'azaab; zaalika liman khashiyal 'anata minkum; wa an tasbiroo khairul lakum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem

یُرِیدُ ٱللَّهُ لِیُبَیِّنَ لَكُمۡ وَیَهۡدِیَكُمۡ سُنَنَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَیَتُوبَ عَلَیۡكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمٌ حَكِیمࣱ

الله چاہتا ہے کہ تمہارے واسطے بیان کرے اور تمہیں پہلوں کی راہ پر چلائے اور تمہاری توبہ قبول کرے اور الله جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے

Allah wants to make clear to you [the lawful from the unlawful] and guide you to the [good] practices of those before you and to accept your repentance. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

Yureedul laahu liyubai yina lakum wa yahdiyakum sunanal lazeena min qablikum wa yatooba 'alaikum; wallaahu 'Aleemun Hakeem

وَٱللَّهُ یُرِیدُ أَن یَتُوبَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَیُرِیدُ ٱلَّذِینَ یَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلشَّهَوَ ٰ⁠تِ أَن تَمِیلُوا۟ مَیۡلًا عَظِیمࣰا

اور الله چاہتا ہے کہ تم پر اپنی رحمت سے متوجہ ہو اور جو لوگ اپنے مزوں کے پیچھے لگے ہوئے ہیں وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ تم راہ راست سے بہت دور ہٹ جاؤ

Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation.

Wallaahu yureedu ai yatooba 'alaikum wa yureedul lazeena yattabi 'oonash shahawaati an tameeloo mailan 'azeemaa

یُرِیدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن یُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمۡۚ وَخُلِقَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ ضَعِیفࣰا

اللہ چاہتا ہے کہ تم سے بوجھ ہلکا کر دے کیوں کہ انسان کمزور پیدا کیا گیا ہے

And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.

Yureedul laahu ai yukhaffifa 'ankum; wa khuliqal insaanu da'eefaa

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَأۡكُلُوۤا۟ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَكُم بَیۡنَكُم بِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ إِلَّاۤ أَن تَكُونَ تِجَـٰرَةً عَن تَرَاضࣲ مِّنكُمۡۚ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُمۡ رَحِیمࣰا

اے ایمان والو! آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے مال نا حق نہ کھاؤ مگر یہ کہ آپس کی خوشی سے تجارت ہو اور آپس میں کسی کو قتل نہ کرو بے شک اللہ تم پر مہربان ہے

O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa taakulooo amwaalakum bainakum bilbaatili 'illaaa an takoona tijaaratan 'an taraadim minkum; wa laa taqtulooo anfusakum; innal laaha kaana bikum Raheemaa

وَمَن یَفۡعَلۡ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ عُدۡوَ ٰ⁠نࣰا وَظُلۡمࣰا فَسَوۡفَ نُصۡلِیهِ نَارࣰاۚ وَكَانَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ یَسِیرًا

اور جو شخص تعدّی اور ظلم سے یہ کام کرے گا تو ہم اسے آگ میں ڈالیں گے اور یہ اللہ پر آسان ہے

And whoever does that in aggression and injustice - then We will drive him into a Fire. And that, for Allah, is [always] easy.

Wa mai yaf'al zaalika 'udwaananw wa zulman fasawfa nusleehi Naaraa; wa kaana zaalika 'alal laahi yaseeraa

إِن تَجۡتَنِبُوا۟ كَبَاۤىِٕرَ مَا تُنۡهَوۡنَ عَنۡهُ نُكَفِّرۡ عَنكُمۡ سَیِّـَٔاتِكُمۡ وَنُدۡخِلۡكُم مُّدۡخَلࣰا كَرِیمࣰا

اگر تم ان بڑے گناہوں سے بچو گے جن سے تمہیں منع کیا گیا تو ہم تم سے تمہارے چھوٹے گناہ معاف کردیں گے اور تمہیں عزت کے مقام میں داخل کریں گے

If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins and admit you to a noble entrance [into Paradise].

In tajtaniboo kabaaa'ira maa tunhawna 'anhu nukaffir 'ankum saiyiaatikum wa nudkhilkum mudkhalan kareemaa

وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوۡا۟ مَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦ بَعۡضَكُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲۚ لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصِیبࣱ مِّمَّا ٱكۡتَسَبُوا۟ۖ وَلِلنِّسَاۤءِ نَصِیبࣱ مِّمَّا ٱكۡتَسَبۡنَۚ وَسۡـَٔلُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمࣰا

اور مت ہوس کرو اس فضیلت میں جو الله نے بعض کو بعض پر دی ہے مردوں کو اپنی کمائی سے حصہ ہے اور عورتوں کو اپنی کمائی سے حصہ ہے اور اللہ سے اس کا فضل مانگو بے شک اللہ کو ہر چیز کا علم ہے

And do not wish for that by which Allah has made some of you exceed others. For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned. And ask Allah of his bounty. Indeed Allah is ever, of all things, Knowing.

Wa laa tatamannaw maa faddalal laahu bihee ba'dakum 'alaa ba'd; lirrijaali naseebum mimak tasaboo wa linnisaaa'i naseebum mimmak tasabna; was'alullaaha min fadlih; innal laaha kaana bikulli shai'in 'Aleemaa

وَلِكُلࣲّ جَعَلۡنَا مَوَ ٰ⁠لِیَ مِمَّا تَرَكَ ٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠لِدَانِ وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبُونَۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ عَقَدَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُكُمۡ فَـَٔاتُوهُمۡ نَصِیبَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ شَهِیدًا

اور ہر شخص کے ہم نے وارث مقرر کر دیئے ہیں اس مال کے جو ماں باپ یا رشتہ دار چھوڑ کر مریں اور وہ لوگ جن سے تمہارے عہد و پیمان ہوں تو انہیں ان کا حصہ دے دو بے شک الله ہر چیز پر گواہ ہے

And for all, We have made heirs to what is left by parents and relatives. And to those whom your oaths have bound [to you] - give them their share. Indeed Allah is ever, over all things, a Witness.

Wa likullin ja'alnaa ma waaliya mimmaa tarakal waalidaani wal aqraboon; wallazeena 'aqadat aimaanukum fa aatoohum naseebahum; innal laaha kaana 'alaa kulli shai'in Shaheedaa

ٱلرِّجَالُ قَوَّ ٰ⁠مُونَ عَلَى ٱلنِّسَاۤءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بَعۡضَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ وَبِمَاۤ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنۡ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِهِمۡۚ فَٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتُ قَـٰنِتَـٰتٌ حَـٰفِظَـٰتࣱ لِّلۡغَیۡبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ ٱللَّهُۚ وَٱلَّـٰتِی تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَٱهۡجُرُوهُنَّ فِی ٱلۡمَضَاجِعِ وَٱضۡرِبُوهُنَّۖ فَإِنۡ أَطَعۡنَكُمۡ فَلَا تَبۡغُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِنَّ سَبِیلًاۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِیࣰّا كَبِیرࣰا

مرد عورتوں پر حاکم ہیں اس واسطے کہ الله نے ایک کو ایک پر فضیلت دی ہے اور اس واسطے کہ انہوں نے اپنے مال خرچ کیے ہیں پھر جو عورتیں نیک ہیں وہ تابعدار ہیں مردوں کے پیٹھ پیچھے الله کی نگرانی میں (ان کے حقوق کی) حفاظت کرتی ہیں اور جن عورتو ں سےتمہیں سرکشی کا خطرہ ہو تو انہیں سمجھاؤ اور سونے میں جدا کر دو اور مارو پھر اگر تمہارا کہا مان جائیں تو ان پر الزام لگانے کے لیے بہانے مت تلاش کرو بے شک الله سب سے اوپر بڑا ہے

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.

Arrijaalu qawwaamoona 'alan nisaaa'i bimaa fad dalallaahu ba'dahum 'alaa ba'dinw wa bimaaa anfoqoo min amwaalihim; fassaalihaatu qaanitaatun haafizaatul lil ghaibi bimaa hafizal laah; wallaatee takhaafoona nushoo zahunna fa 'izoohunna wahjuroohunna fil madaaji'i wadriboohunna fa in ata'nakum falaa tabghoo 'alaihinna sabeelaa; innallaaha kaana 'Aliyyan Kabeeraa

وَإِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ شِقَاقَ بَیۡنِهِمَا فَٱبۡعَثُوا۟ حَكَمࣰا مِّنۡ أَهۡلِهِۦ وَحَكَمࣰا مِّنۡ أَهۡلِهَاۤ إِن یُرِیدَاۤ إِصۡلَـٰحࣰا یُوَفِّقِ ٱللَّهُ بَیۡنَهُمَاۤۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِیمًا خَبِیرࣰا

اور اگر تمہیں کہیں میاں بیوی کے تعلقات بگڑ جانے کا خطرہ ہو تو ایک منصف مرد کے خاندان میں سے اور ایک منصف عورت کے خاندان میں سے مقرر کرو اگر یہ دونوں صلح کرنا چاہیں گے تو الله ان دونو ں میں موافقت کر دے گا بے شک الله سب کچھ جاننے والا خبردار ہے

And if you fear dissension between the two, send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause it between them. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Acquainted [with all things].

Wa in khiftum shiqaaqa baini himaa fab'asoo haka mam min ahlihee wa hakamam min ahlihaa; iny-yureedaaa islaah ai-yuwaffiqil laahu bainahumaa; innal laaha kaana 'Aleeman Khabeeraa

۞ وَٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُشۡرِكُوا۟ بِهِۦ شَیۡـࣰٔاۖ وَبِٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠لِدَیۡنِ إِحۡسَـٰنࣰا وَبِذِی ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَـٰكِینِ وَٱلۡجَارِ ذِی ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡجَارِ ٱلۡجُنُبِ وَٱلصَّاحِبِ بِٱلۡجَنۢبِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِیلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخۡتَالࣰا فَخُورًا

اور الله کی بندگی کرو اورکسی کو اس کا شریک نہ کرو اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ نیکی کرو اور رشتہ داروں اور یتیموں اور مسکینوں اور قریبی ہمسایہ اور اجنبی ہمسایہ اورپاس بیٹھنے والے او رمسافر او راپنے غلاموں کے ساتھ بھی نیکی کرو بے شک الله اترانے والے بڑائی کرنے والے کو پسند نہیں کرتا

Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.

Wa'budul laaha wa laa tushrikoo bihee shai'anw wa bilwaalidaini ihsaananw wa bizil qurbaa walyataamaa walmasaakeeni waljaari zilqurbaa waljaaril junubi wassaahibi biljambi wabnis sabeeli wa maa malakat aimaanukum; innal laaha laa yuhibbu man kaana mukhtaalan fakhooraa

ٱلَّذِینَ یَبۡخَلُونَ وَیَأۡمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلۡبُخۡلِ وَیَكۡتُمُونَ مَاۤ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۗ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ عَذَابࣰا مُّهِینࣰا

جو لوگ بخل کرتے ہیں اور لوگو ں کو بخل سکھاتے ہیں اور الله نے انہیں اپنے فضل سے جو دیا ہے اسے چھپاتے ہیں اور ہم نے کافروں کے لیے ذلت کا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

Who are stingy and enjoin upon [other] people stinginess and conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty - and We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment -

Allazeena yabkhaloona wa yaamuroonan naasa bilbukhli wa yaktumoona maaa aataahu mullaahu min fadlih; wa a'tadnaa lilkaafireena 'azaabam muheenaa

وَٱلَّذِینَ یُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَهُمۡ رِئَاۤءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِۗ وَمَن یَكُنِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ لَهُۥ قَرِینࣰا فَسَاۤءَ قَرِینࣰا

اور جو لوگ اپنے مالوں کو لوگوں کے دکھانے میں خرچ کرتے ہیں اور اللہ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور جس کا شیطان ساتھی ہوا تو وہ بہت برا ساتھی ہے

And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.

Wallazeena yunfiqoona amwaalahum ri'aaa'an naasi wa laa yu'minoona billaahi wa laa bil Yawmil Aakhir; wa mai yakunish shaitaanu lahoo qareenan fasaaa'a qareenaa

وَمَاذَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ لَوۡ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِمۡ عَلِیمًا

اور اگر یہ الله اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان لے آتے اور الله کے دیے ہوئے مال میں سے خرچ کرتے تو ان کا کیا نقصان تھا اور الله انہیں خوب جانتا ہے

And what [harm would come] upon them if they believed in Allah and the Last Day and spent out of what Allah provided for them? And Allah is ever, about them, Knowing.

Wa maazaa 'alaihim law aamanoo billaahi wal Yawmil Aakhiri wa anfaqoo mimmaa razaqahumul laah; wa kaanallaahu bihim Aaleemaa

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَظۡلِمُ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةࣲۖ وَإِن تَكُ حَسَنَةࣰ یُضَـٰعِفۡهَا وَیُؤۡتِ مِن لَّدُنۡهُ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمࣰا

بے شک الله کسی کا ایک ذرہ برابر بھی حق نہیں رکھتا اور اگر نیکی ہو تو اس کو دگنا کر دیتا ہے اور اپنے ہاں سے بڑا ثواب دیتا ہے

Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom's weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.

Innal laaha laa yazlimu misqaala zarratinw wa in taku hasanatany yudaa'ifhaa wa yu'ti mil ladunhu ajran 'azeemaa

فَكَیۡفَ إِذَا جِئۡنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةِۭ بِشَهِیدࣲ وَجِئۡنَا بِكَ عَلَىٰ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ شَهِیدࣰا

پھر کیا حال ہوگا جب ہم ہر امت میں سے گواہ بلائینگے اور تمیں ان پر گواہ کر کے لائیں گے

So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you, [O Muhammad] against these [people] as a witness?

Fakaifa izaa ji'naa min kulli ummatim bishaheedinw wa ji'naabika 'alaa haaa'ulaaa 'i Shaheedan

یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَعَصَوُا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ لَوۡ تُسَوَّىٰ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَلَا یَكۡتُمُونَ ٱللَّهَ حَدِیثࣰا

جن لوگو ں نے کفر کیا تھا اور رسول کی نافرمانی کی تھی وہ اس دن کی آرزو کریں گے کہ زمین کے برابر ہو جائیں اور الله سے کوئی بات نہ چھپا سکیں گے

That Day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish they could be covered by the earth. And they will not conceal from Allah a [single] statement.

Yawma'iziny yawad dullazeena kafaroo wa'asawur Rasoola law tusawwaa bihimul ardu wa laa yaktumoonal laaha hadeesaa

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَقۡرَبُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنتُمۡ سُكَـٰرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَعۡلَمُوا۟ مَا تَقُولُونَ وَلَا جُنُبًا إِلَّا عَابِرِی سَبِیلٍ حَتَّىٰ تَغۡتَسِلُوا۟ۚ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرۡضَىٰۤ أَوۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوۡ جَاۤءَ أَحَدࣱ مِّنكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡغَاۤىِٕطِ أَوۡ لَـٰمَسۡتُمُ ٱلنِّسَاۤءَ فَلَمۡ تَجِدُوا۟ مَاۤءࣰ فَتَیَمَّمُوا۟ صَعِیدࣰا طَیِّبࣰا فَٱمۡسَحُوا۟ بِوُجُوهِكُمۡ وَأَیۡدِیكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّا غَفُورًا

اے ایمان والو! جس وقت کہ تم نشہ میں ہو نماز کے نزدیک نہ جاؤ یہاں تک کہ تم سمجھو سکوکہ تم کیا کہہ رہے ہو اور جنبی ہونے کی حالت میں مگر راستہ گزرتے ہوئے یہاں تک کہ غسل کر لو اور اگر تم بیمار ہو یا سفر میں ہو یا کوئی شخص تم میں سے رفع حاجت کر کے آئے یا عورتوں کے پاس گئے ہو پھر تمہیں پانی نہ ملے تو پاک مٹی سے کام لو اور اسے اپنے مونہوں پر اور ہاتھوں پر ملو بے شک الله معاف کرنے والا بخشنے والا ہے

O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.

yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa taqrabus Salaata wa antum sukaaraa hatta ta'lamoo ma taqooloona wa la junuban illaa 'aabiree sabeelin hatta taghtasiloo; wa in kuntum mardaaa aw 'alaa safarin aw jaaa'a ahadum minkum minal ghaaa'iti aw laamastumun nisaaa'a falam tajidoo maaa'an fatayam mamoo sa'eedan taiyiban famsahoo biwujoohikum wa aideekum; innal laaha kaana 'Afuwwan Ghafooraa

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ نَصِیبࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ یَشۡتَرُونَ ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةَ وَیُرِیدُونَ أَن تَضِلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِیلَ

کیا تم نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا جنہیں کچھ حصہ کتاب سے ملا ہے وہ گمراہی خریدتے ہیں اور چاہتے ہیں کہ تم بھی راستہ گم کر دو

Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, purchasing error [in exchange for it] and wishing you would lose the way?

Alam tara ilal lazeena ootoo naseebam minal Kitaabi yashtaroonad dalaalata wa yureedoona an tadillus sabeel

وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِأَعۡدَاۤىِٕكُمۡۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَلِیࣰّا وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ نَصِیرࣰا

اور الله تمہارے دشمنوں کو خوب جانتا ہے اور تمہاری حمایت اور مدد کے لیے الله ہی کافی ہے

And Allah is most knowing of your enemies; and sufficient is Allah as an ally, and sufficient is Allah as a helper.

Wallaahu a'lamu bi a'daaa'i-kum; wa kafaa billaahi waliyyanw wa kafaa billaahi naseera

مِّنَ ٱلَّذِینَ هَادُوا۟ یُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلۡكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ وَیَقُولُونَ سَمِعۡنَا وَعَصَیۡنَا وَٱسۡمَعۡ غَیۡرَ مُسۡمَعࣲ وَرَ ٰ⁠عِنَا لَیَّۢا بِأَلۡسِنَتِهِمۡ وَطَعۡنࣰا فِی ٱلدِّینِۚ وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ قَالُوا۟ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَا وَٱسۡمَعۡ وَٱنظُرۡنَا لَكَانَ خَیۡرࣰا لَّهُمۡ وَأَقۡوَمَ وَلَـٰكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ فَلَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا

یہودیوں میں بعض ایسے ہیں جو الفاظ کو ان کے محل سے پھیر دیتے ہیں او ر کہتے ہیں ہم نے سنا اور نہ مانا او رکہتے ہیں کہ سن نہ سنایا جائے تو اور کہتے ہیں راعِنا اپنی زبان کو مروڑ کر اور دین میں طعن کرنے کے خیال سےاور اگر وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے سنا اور ہمنے مانا اور سن تو اور ہم پر نظر کو تو ان کے حق میں بہتر اور درست ہوتا لیکن ان کے کفر کے سبب سے الله نے ا ن پر لعنت کی سو ان میں سے بہت کم لوگ ایمان لائیں گے

Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] usages and say, "We hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard" and "Ra'ina," twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], "We hear and obey" and "Wait for us [to understand]," it would have been better for them and more suitable. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.

Minal lazeena haadoo yuharrifoonal Kalima 'am mawaadi'ihee wa yaqooloona sami'naa wa 'asainaa wasma' ghaira musma'inw wa raa'inaa laiyam bi alsinatihim wa ta'nan fiddeen; wa law annahum qaaloo sami'naa wa ata'naa wasma' wanzurnaa lakaana khairal lahum wa aqwama wa laakil la ''anahumul laahu bikufrihim falaa yu'minoona illaa qaleela

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِمَا نَزَّلۡنَا مُصَدِّقࣰا لِّمَا مَعَكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن نَّطۡمِسَ وُجُوهࣰا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَىٰۤ أَدۡبَارِهَاۤ أَوۡ نَلۡعَنَهُمۡ كَمَا لَعَنَّاۤ أَصۡحَـٰبَ ٱلسَّبۡتِۚ وَكَانَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ مَفۡعُولًا

اے کتاب والو اس پر ایمان لے آؤ جو ہم نے نازل کیا ہے اس کتاب کی تصدیق کرتا ہے جو تمہارے پاس ہے اس سے پہلے کہ ہم بہت سے چہرو ں کو مٹا ڈالیں پھر انہیں پیٹھ کیطرف الٹ دیں یا ان پر لعنت کریں جسطرح ہم نے ہفتے کے دن والوں پر لعنت کی تھی اور الله کا حکم تو نافذ ہو کر ہی رہتا ہے

O you who were given the Scripture, believe in what We have sent down [to Muhammad], confirming that which is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them toward their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And ever is the decree of Allah accomplished.

yaaa aiyuha lazeena ootu Kitaaba aaminoo bimaa nazzalnaa musadiqallimaa ma'akum min qabli an natmisa wujoohan fanaruddahaa 'alaaa adbaarihaaa aw nal'anahum kamaa la'annaaa Ashaabas Sabt; wa kaana amrul laahi maf'oolaa

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَغۡفِرُ أَن یُشۡرَكَ بِهِۦ وَیَغۡفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَمَن یُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰۤ إِثۡمًا عَظِیمًا

بے شک الله اسے نہیں بخشتا جو اس کا شریک کرے اور شرک کے ماسوا دوسرےگناہ جسے چاہے بخشتا ہے اور جس نے الله کا شریک ٹھیرایا اس نے بڑا ہی گناہ کیا

Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.

Innal laaha laa yaghfiru ai yushraka bihee wa yaghfiru maa doona zaalika limai yashaaa'; wa mai yushrik billaahi faqadif taraaa isman 'azeemaa

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ یُزَكُّونَ أَنفُسَهُمۚ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ یُزَكِّی مَن یَشَاۤءُ وَلَا یُظۡلَمُونَ فَتِیلًا

کیا تم نے ان لوگو ں کو نہیں دیکھا جو اپنی پاکیزگی کا دم بھرتے ہیں بلکہ الله جسے چاہے پاک کرتا ہے اور ان پر تاگے کے برابر بھی ظلم نہ ہوگا

Have you not seen those who claim themselves to be pure? Rather, Allah purifies whom He wills, and injustice is not done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed].

Alam tara ilal lazeena yuzakkoona anfusahum; balil laahu yuzakkee mai yashaaa'u wa laa yuzlamoona fateelaa

ٱنظُرۡ كَیۡفَ یَفۡتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَۖ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦۤ إِثۡمࣰا مُّبِینًا

دیکھو یہ لوگ الله پر کیسا جھوٹ باندھتے ہیں یہی ایک صریح گنا ہ کافی ہے

Look how they invent about Allah untruth, and sufficient is that as a manifest sin.

Unzur kaifa yaftaroona 'alal laahil kazib, wakafaa biheee ismamm mubeenaa

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ نَصِیبࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡجِبۡتِ وَٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ سَبِیلًا

کیا تم نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا جنہیں کتاب کا کچھ حصہ دیا گیا وہ بتوں اور شیطانوں کو مانتے ہیں اور کافروں سے یہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ لوگ مسلمانوں سے زیادہ راہِ راست پر ہیں

Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, who believe in superstition and false objects of worship and say about the disbelievers, "These are better guided than the believers as to the way"?

Alam tara ilal lazeena 'ootoo naseebam minal kitaabi yu'minoona bil Jibti wat Taaghooti wa yaqooloona lillazeena kafaroo haaa ulaaa'i ahdaa minal lazeena aamanoo sabeelaa

أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَن یَلۡعَنِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ نَصِیرًا

یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن پر الله کی لعنت ہے اور جس پر الله لعنت کرے تو اس کا کوئي مددگار نہیں پائے گا

Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed; and he whom Allah curses - never will you find for him a helper.

Ulaaa'ikal lazeena la'ana humul laahu wa mai yal'anil laahu falan tajida lahoo naseeraa

أَمۡ لَهُمۡ نَصِیبࣱ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُلۡكِ فَإِذࣰا لَّا یُؤۡتُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ نَقِیرًا

کیا سلطنت میں ان کا بھی کچھ حصہ ہے پھر تو یہ لوگوں کو ایک تِل بھر بھی نہیں دیں گے

Or have they a share of dominion? Then [if that were so], they would not give the people [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.

Am lahum naseebum minal mulki fa izal laa yu'toonan naasa naqeeraa

أَمۡ یَحۡسُدُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَىٰ مَاۤ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۖ فَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَاۤ ءَالَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُم مُّلۡكًا عَظِیمࣰا

یا لوگو ں پر حسد کرتے ہیں جو الله نے ان کو اپنے فضل سے دیا ہے ہم نے تو ابراھیم کی اولاد کو کتاب اور حکمت ادا کی ہے اور ان کوہم نے بڑی بادشاہی دی ہے

Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? But we had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom.

Am yahsudoonan naasa 'alaa maaa aataahumul laahu min fadlihee faqad aatainaaa Aala Ibraaheemal Kitaaba wal Hikmata wa aatainaahum mulkan 'azeemaa

فَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ ءَامَنَ بِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن صَدَّ عَنۡهُۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِجَهَنَّمَ سَعِیرًا

پھران میں سے کوئی اس پر ایمان لایا اورکوئی اس سے ہٹ گیا اور دوزخ کی بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ کافی ہے

And some among them believed in it, and some among them were averse to it. And sufficient is Hell as a blaze.

Faminhum man aamana bihee wa minhum man sadda 'anh; wa kafaa bi Jahannama sa'eeraa

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا سَوۡفَ نُصۡلِیهِمۡ نَارࣰا كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتۡ جُلُودُهُم بَدَّلۡنَـٰهُمۡ جُلُودًا غَیۡرَهَا لِیَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلۡعَذَابَۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَزِیزًا حَكِیمࣰا

بے شک جن لوگو ں نے ہماری آیتوں کا انکار کیا انہیں ہم آگ میں ڈال دیں گے جس وقت ان کی کھالیں جل جائیں گی تو ہم انکو اور کھالیں بدل دیں گے تاکہ عذاب چکھتے رہیں بے شک الله زبردست حکمت والا ہے

Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses - We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.

Innal lazeena kafaroo bi Aayaatinaa sawfa nusleehim Naaran kullamaa nadijat julooduhum baddalnaahum juloodan ghairahaa liyazooqul 'azaab; innallaaha kaana 'Azeezan Hakeemaa

وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ سَنُدۡخِلُهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدࣰاۖ لَّهُمۡ فِیهَاۤ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جࣱ مُّطَهَّرَةࣱۖ وَنُدۡخِلُهُمۡ ظِلࣰّا ظَلِیلًا

او رجو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک کام کیے انہیں ہم ایسے باغوں میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہوں گے ان کے لیے وہاں ستھری عورتیں ہوں گی اور ہم انہیں گھنی چھاؤں میں رکھیں گے

But those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade.

Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati sanud khiluum jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaaa abadaa, lahum feehaaa azwaajum mutahharatun wa nudkhiluhum zillan zaleelaa

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَأۡمُرُكُمۡ أَن تُؤَدُّوا۟ ٱلۡأَمَـٰنَـٰتِ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمۡتُم بَیۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ أَن تَحۡكُمُوا۟ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ نِعِمَّا یَعِظُكُم بِهِۦۤۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ سَمِیعَۢا بَصِیرࣰا

بے شک الله تمہیں حکم دیتا ہے کہ امانتیں امانت والوں کو پہنچا دو اور جب لوگوں کے درمیان فیصلہ کرو تو انصاف سے فیصلہ کرو بے شک تمہیں نہایت اچھی نصیحت کرتا ہے بے شک الله سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے

Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.

Innal laaha yaamurukum an tu'addul amaanaati ilaaa ahlihaa wa izaa hakamtum bainan naasi an tahkumoo bil 'adl; innal laaha yaamurukum an tu'addul amaanaati ilaaa ahlihaa wa izaa hakamtum bainan naasi an tahkumoo bil 'adl; innal laaha ni'immaa ya'izukum bih; innal laaha kaana Samee'am Baseera

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ أَطِیعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِیعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُو۟لِی ٱلۡأَمۡرِ مِنكُمۡۖ فَإِن تَنَـٰزَعۡتُمۡ فِی شَیۡءࣲ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ خَیۡرࣱ وَأَحۡسَنُ تَأۡوِیلًا

اے ایمان والو الله کی فرمانبرداری کرو اور رسول کی فرمانبرداری کرو اور ان لوگوں کی جو تم میں سے حاکم ہوں پھر اگر آپس میں کوئی چیز میں جھگڑا کرو تو اسے الله اور اس کے رسول کی طرف پھیرو اگر تم الله اور قیامت کے دن پر یقین رکھتے ہو یہی بات اچھی ہے اور انجام کے لحاظ سے بہت بہتر ہے

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo atee'ul laaha wa atee'ur Rasoola wa ulil amri minkum fa in tanaaza'tum fee shai'in faruddoohu ilal laahi war Rasooli in kuntum tu'minoona billaahi wal yawmil Aakhir; zaalika khairunw wa ahsanu taaweelaa

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ یَزۡعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِمَاۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡكَ وَمَاۤ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلِكَ یُرِیدُونَ أَن یَتَحَاكَمُوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَقَدۡ أُمِرُوۤا۟ أَن یَكۡفُرُوا۟ بِهِۦۖ وَیُرِیدُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ أَن یُضِلَّهُمۡ ضَلَـٰلَۢا بَعِیدࣰا

کیا تم لوگوں نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا جواس چیز پر ایمان لانے کا دعویٰ کرتے ہیں جو تجھ پر نازل کی گئی ہے اور جو چیز تم سےپہلے نازل کی گئی ہے وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ اپنا فیصلہ شیطان سے کرائیں حالانکہ انہیں حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ اسے نہ مانیں اور شیطان تو چاہتا ہے کہ انہیں بہکا کر دو رجا ڈالے

Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.

Alam tara ilal lazeena yaz'umoona annahum aarmanoo bimaa unzilaa ilaika wa maaa unzila min qablika yureedoona ai yatahaakamooo ilat Taaghooti wa qad umirooo ai yakfuroo bih, wa yureedush Shaitaanu ai yudillahum dalaalam ba'eedaa

وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡا۟ إِلَىٰ مَاۤ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ رَأَیۡتَ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ یَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودࣰا

اور جب انہیں کہا جاتا ہے جو چیز الله نے نازل کی ہے اس کی طرف آؤ اور رسول کی طرف آؤ توتو منافقوں کو دیکھے گا کہ تجھ سے پہلو تہی کرتے ہیں

And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger," you see the hypocrites turning away from you in aversion.

Wa izaa qeela lahum ta'aalaw ilaa maaa anzalallaahu wa ilar Rasooli ra aital munaafiqeena yasuddoona 'anka sudoodaa

فَكَیۡفَ إِذَاۤ أَصَـٰبَتۡهُم مُّصِیبَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ ثُمَّ جَاۤءُوكَ یَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنۡ أَرَدۡنَاۤ إِلَّاۤ إِحۡسَـٰنࣰا وَتَوۡفِیقًا

پھر کیاہوتا ہے جب ان کے اپنے ہاتھوں سے لائی ہوئی مصیبت ان پر آتی ہے پھر تیرے پاس آ کر خدا کی قسمیں کھاتے ہیں کہ ہم کو تو سوائے بھلائیا ور باہمی موافقت کے اور کوئی غرض نہ تھی

So how [will it be] when disaster strikes them because of what their hands have put forth and then they come to you swearing by Allah, "We intended nothing but good conduct and accommodation."

Fakaifa izaaa asaabathum museebatum summa jaaa'ooka yahlifoona billaahi in aradnaaa illaaa ihsaananw wa tawfeeqaa

أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ یَعۡلَمُ ٱللَّهُ مَا فِی قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَعِظۡهُمۡ وَقُل لَّهُمۡ فِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ قَوۡلَۢا بَلِیغࣰا

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں کہ الله جانتا ہے جو ان کے دلوں میں ہے تو ان سے منہ پھیر لے اور انہیں نصیحت کرو ان سے ایسی بات کہو جو ان کے دلوں میں اتر جائے

Those are the ones of whom Allah knows what is in their hearts, so turn away from them but admonish them and speak to them a far-reaching word.

Ulaaa'ikal lazeena ya'la mullaahu maa fee quloobihim fa a'rid 'anhum wa 'izhum wa qul lahum feee anfusihim qawlam baleeghaa

وَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا لِیُطَاعَ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ إِذ ظَّلَمُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ جَاۤءُوكَ فَٱسۡتَغۡفَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱسۡتَغۡفَرَ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا

اورہم نے کبھی کوئی رسول نہیں بھیجا مگر اسی واسطے کہ الله کے حکم سے اس کی تابعداری کی جائے اور جب انہوں نے اپنے نفسوں پر ظلم کیا تھا تیرے پاس آتے پھر الله سے معافی مانگتے اور رسول بھی ان کی معافی کی درخواست کرتا تو یقیناًیہ الله کو بخشنے والا رحم کرنے والا پاتے

And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

Wa maa arsalnaa mir Rasoolin illaa liyutaa'a bi iznil laah; wa law annahum 'iz zalamooo anfusahum jaaa'ooka fastaghfarul laaha wastaghfara lahumur Rasoolu la wajadul laaha Tawwaabar Raheemaa

فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ یُحَكِّمُوكَ فِیمَا شَجَرَ بَیۡنَهُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا یَجِدُوا۟ فِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ حَرَجࣰا مِّمَّا قَضَیۡتَ وَیُسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسۡلِیمࣰا

سو تیرے رب کی قسم ہے یہ کبھی مومن نہیں ہوں گے جب تک کہ اپنے اختلافات میں تجھے منصف نہ مان لیں پھر تیرے فیصلہ پر اپنے دلوں میں کوئی تنگی نہ پائیں اور خوشی سے قبول کریں

But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.

Falaa wa Rabbika laa yu'minoona hattaa yuhakkimooka fe emaa shajara bainahum summa laa yajidoo fee anfusihim harajam mimmaa qadaita wa yusal limoo tasleemaa

وَلَوۡ أَنَّا كَتَبۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ أَنِ ٱقۡتُلُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَكُمۡ أَوِ ٱخۡرُجُوا۟ مِن دِیَـٰرِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ فَعَلُوا۟ مَا یُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦ لَكَانَ خَیۡرࣰا لَّهُمۡ وَأَشَدَّ تَثۡبِیتࣰا

اور اگر ہم ان پر حکم کرتے کہ اپنی جانوں کو ہلاک کر دو یا اپنے گھروں سے نکل جاؤ تو ان میں سے بہت ہی کم آدمی اس پر عمل کرتے اور اگر یہ لوگ کریں جو ان کو نصیحت کی جاتی ہے تو یہ ان کے لیے زیادہ بہتر ہوتا اور دین میں زیادہ ثابت رکھنے والا ہوتا

And if We had decreed upon them, "Kill yourselves" or "Leave your homes," they would not have done it, except for a few of them. But if they had done what they were instructed, it would have been better for them and a firmer position [for them in faith].

Wa law annaa katabnaa 'alaihim aniq tulooo anfusakum awikh rujoo min diyaarikum maa fa'aloohu illaa qaleelum minhum wa law annahum fa'aloo maa yoo'azoona bihee lakaana khairal lahum wa ashadda tasbeetaa

وَإِذࣰا لَّـَٔاتَیۡنَـٰهُم مِّن لَّدُنَّاۤ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمࣰا

اور اس وقت البتہ ہم ان کو اپنے ہاں سے بڑا ثواب دیتے

And then We would have given them from Us a great reward.

Wa izal la aatainaahum mil ladunnaaa ajran 'azeemaa

وَلَهَدَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ صِرَ ٰ⁠طࣰا مُّسۡتَقِیمࣰا

اور البتہ انھیں سیدھا راستہ دکھاتے

And We would have guided them to a straight path.

Wa lahadainaahum Siraatam mustaqeemaa

وَمَن یُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِینَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِیِّـۧنَ وَٱلصِّدِّیقِینَ وَٱلشُّهَدَاۤءِ وَٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَۚ وَحَسُنَ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ رَفِیقࣰا

اورجو شخص الله اور اس کے رسول کا فرمانبردار ہو تو وہ ان کے ساتھ ہوں گے جن پر الله نے انعام کیا وہ نبی اور صدیق اور شہید اور صالح ہیں اور یہ رفیق کیسے اچھے ہیں

And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.

Wa many-yuti'il laaha war Rasoola fa ulaaa'ika ma'al lazeena an'amal laahu 'alaihim minan nabiyyeena wassiddeeqeena washshuhadaaa'i wassaaliheen; wa hasuna ulaaa'ika rafeeqaa

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ عَلِیمࣰا

یہ الله کی طرف سے احسان ہے اور الله کافی ہے جاننے والا

That is the bounty from Allah, and sufficient is Allah as Knower.

Zaalikal fadlu minal laah; wa kafaa billaahi 'Aleemaa

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ خُذُوا۟ حِذۡرَكُمۡ فَٱنفِرُوا۟ ثُبَاتٍ أَوِ ٱنفِرُوا۟ جَمِیعࣰا

اے ایمان والو! اپنے ہتھیار لے لو پھر جدا جدا فوج ہو کر نکلویا سب اکھٹے ہوکر نکلو

O you who have believed, take your precaution and [either] go forth in companies or go forth all together.

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo khuzoo hizrakum fanfiroo subaain awin firoo jamee'aa

وَإِنَّ مِنكُمۡ لَمَن لَّیُبَطِّئَنَّ فَإِنۡ أَصَـٰبَتۡكُم مُّصِیبَةࣱ قَالَ قَدۡ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیَّ إِذۡ لَمۡ أَكُن مَّعَهُمۡ شَهِیدࣰا

اور بے شک تم میں بعض ایسا بھی ہے جو لڑائی سے جی چراتا ہے پھر اگر تم پر کوئی مصیبت آجائے تو کہتا ہے الله نے مجھ پر فضل کیا کہ میں ان لوگوں کے ساتھ نہ تھا

And indeed, there is among you he who lingers behind; and if disaster strikes you, he says, "Allah has favored me in that I was not present with them."

Wa inna minkum lamal la yubatti'anna fa in asaabatkum museebatun qaala qad an'amal laahu 'alaiya iz lam akum ma'ahum shaheeda

وَلَىِٕنۡ أَصَـٰبَكُمۡ فَضۡلࣱ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَیَقُولَنَّ كَأَن لَّمۡ تَكُنۢ بَیۡنَكُمۡ وَبَیۡنَهُۥ مَوَدَّةࣱ یَـٰلَیۡتَنِی كُنتُ مَعَهُمۡ فَأَفُوزَ فَوۡزًا عَظِیمࣰا

اور اگر الله کی طرف سے تم پر فضل ہو تو اس طرح کہنے لگتا ہے کہ گویا تمہارے اور اس کے درمیان دوستی کا کوئی تعلق ہی نہیں کہ کاش میں بھی ان کے ساتھ ہوتا تو بڑی مراد پاتا

But if bounty comes to you from Allah, he will surely say, as if there had never been between you and him any affection. "Oh, I wish I had been with them so I could have attained a great attainment."

Wa la'in asaabakum fadlum minal laahi la yaqoolanna ka al lam takum bainakum wa bainahoo mawaddatuny yaa laitanee kuntu ma'ahum fa afooza fawzan 'azeemaa

۞ فَلۡیُقَـٰتِلۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَشۡرُونَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا بِٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِۚ وَمَن یُقَـٰتِلۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ فَیُقۡتَلۡ أَوۡ یَغۡلِبۡ فَسَوۡفَ نُؤۡتِیهِ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمࣰا

سو چاہیئے کہ الله کی راہ میں وہ لوگ لڑیں جو دنیا کی زندگی کو آخرت کے بدلے بیچتے ہیں اور جو کوئی الله کی راہ میں لڑے پھر مارا جائے یا غالب رہے تو اسے ہم بڑا ثواب دیں گے

So let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward.

Falyuqaatil fee sabeelil laahil lazeena yashroonal hayaatad dunyaa bil Aakhirah; wa many-uqaatil fee sabeelil laahi fa yuqtal aw yaghlib fasawfa nu'teehi ajran 'azeemaa

وَمَا لَكُمۡ لَا تُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِینَ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَاۤءِ وَٱلۡوِلۡدَ ٰ⁠نِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَاۤ أَخۡرِجۡنَا مِنۡ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلۡقَرۡیَةِ ٱلظَّالِمِ أَهۡلُهَا وَٱجۡعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِیࣰّا وَٱجۡعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِیرًا

اور کیا وجہ ہے کہ تم الله کی راہ میں ان بے بس مردوں اور عورتوں اور بچوں کی خاطر نہ لڑو جو کہتے ہیں اے ہمارے رب ہمیں اس بستی سے نکال جس کے باشندے ظالم ہیں اور ہمارے واسطے اپنے ہاں سے کوئی حمایتی کر دے اور ہمارے واسطےاپنے ہاں سے کوئی مددگار بنا دے

And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, "Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?"

Wa maa lakum laa tuqaatiloona fee sabeelil laahi walmustad'afeena minar rijaali wannisaaa'i walwildaanil lazeena yaqooloona Rabbanaaa akhrijnaa min haazihil qaryatiz zaalimi ahluhaa waj'al lanaa mil ladunka waliyanw waj'al lanaa mil ladunka naseeraa

ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ یُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ یُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ فَقَـٰتِلُوۤا۟ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِۖ إِنَّ كَیۡدَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ كَانَ ضَعِیفًا

جو ایمان والے ہیں وہ الله کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں اور جو کافر ہیں وہ شیطان کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں سو تم شیطان کے ساتھیوں سے لڑو بے شک شیطان کا فریب کمزور ہے

Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of Taghut. So fight against the allies of Satan. Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak.

Allazeena aamanoo yuqaatiloona fee sabeelil laahi wallazeena kafaroo yuqaatiloona fee sabeelit Taaghoot faqaatiloo awliyaaa'ash Shaitaan; inna kaidash Shairaani kaana da'eefa

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ قِیلَ لَهُمۡ كُفُّوۤا۟ أَیۡدِیَكُمۡ وَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡقِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِیقࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ یَخۡشَوۡنَ ٱلنَّاسَ كَخَشۡیَةِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡ أَشَدَّ خَشۡیَةࣰۚ وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبۡتَ عَلَیۡنَا ٱلۡقِتَالَ لَوۡلَاۤ أَخَّرۡتَنَاۤ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ قَرِیبࣲۗ قُلۡ مَتَـٰعُ ٱلدُّنۡیَا قَلِیلࣱ وَٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةُ خَیۡرࣱ لِّمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ وَلَا تُظۡلَمُونَ فَتِیلًا

کیا تم نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا جنہیں کہا گیا تھا کہ اپنے ہاتھ روکے رکھو اور نماز قائم کرو اور زکواة دو پھر جب انہیں لڑنے کا حکم دیا گیا اس وقت ان میں سے ایک جماعت لوگوں سے ایسا ڈرنے لگی جیسا الله کا ڈر ہو یا اس سے بھی زیادہ ڈر اور کہنے لگے اے رب ہمارے تو نے ہم پر لڑنا یوں فرض کیا کیوں نہ ہمیں تھوڑی مدت اور مہلت دی ان سے کہ دو دنیا کا فائدہ تھوڑا ہے اور آخرت پرہیزگاروں کے لیے بہتر ہے اور ایک تاگے کے برابر بھی تم سے بے انصافی نہیں کی جائے گی

Have you not seen those who were told, "Restrain your hands [from fighting] and establish prayer and give zakah"? But then when fighting was ordained for them, at once a party of them feared men as they fear Allah or with [even] greater fear. They said, "Our Lord, why have You decreed upon us fighting? If only You had postponed [it for] us for a short time." Say, The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for he who fears Allah. And injustice will not be done to you, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed]."

Alam tara ilal lazeena qeela lahum kuffooo aidiyakum wa aqeemus Salaata w aaatuz Zakaata falammaa kutiba 'alaihimul qitaalu izaa fareequm minhum yakhshawnnan naasa kakhashyatil laahi aw ashadda khashyah; wa qaaloo Rabbanaa lima katabta 'alainal qitaala law laaa akhkhartanaa ilaaa ajalin qareeb; qul mataa'ud dunyaa qaleelunw wal Aakhiratu khairul limanit taqaa wa laa tuzlamoona fateelaa

أَیۡنَمَا تَكُونُوا۟ یُدۡرِككُّمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ وَلَوۡ كُنتُمۡ فِی بُرُوجࣲ مُّشَیَّدَةࣲۗ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ حَسَنَةࣱ یَقُولُوا۟ هَـٰذِهِۦ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَیِّئَةࣱ یَقُولُوا۟ هَـٰذِهِۦ مِنۡ عِندِكَۚ قُلۡ كُلࣱّ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَمَالِ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ لَا یَكَادُونَ یَفۡقَهُونَ حَدِیثࣰا

تم جہاں کہیں ہو گے موت تمہیں آ ہی پکڑے گی اگرچہ تم مضبوط قلعوں میں ہی ہو اور اگر انہیں کوئی فائدہ پہنچتا ہے تو لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ الله کی طرف سے ہے اور اگر کوئی نقصان پہنچتا ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تیری طرف سے ہے ان لوگوں کو کیا ہو گیا ہے کہ کوئی بات ان کی سمجھ میں نہیں آتی

Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction. But if good comes to them, they say, "This is from Allah "; and if evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you." Say, "All [things] are from Allah." So what is [the matter] with those people that they can hardly understand any statement?

Ainamaa takoonoo yudrikkumul mawtu wa law kuntum fee buroojim mushai yadah; wa in tusibhum hasanatuny yaqooloo haazihee min indil laahi wa in tusibhum saiyi'atuny yaqooloo haazihee min 'indik; qul kullum min 'indillaahi famaa lihaaa 'ulaaa'il qawmi laa yakkaadoona yafqahoona hadeesaa

مَّاۤ أَصَابَكَ مِنۡ حَسَنَةࣲ فَمِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَاۤ أَصَابَكَ مِن سَیِّئَةࣲ فَمِن نَّفۡسِكَۚ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولࣰاۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِیدࣰا

تجھے جو بھی بھلائی پہنچے وہ الله کی طرف سے ہے اور جو تجھے برائی پہنچے وہ تیرے نفس کی طرف سے ہے ہم نے تجھے لوگوں کو پیغام پہنچانے واا بنا کر بھیجا ہے اور الله کی گواہی کافی ہے

What comes to you of good is from Allah, but what comes to you of evil, [O man], is from yourself. And We have sent you, [O Muhammad], to the people as a messenger, and sufficient is Allah as Witness.

Maaa asaabaka min hasanatin faminal laahi wa maaa asaaabaka min saiyi'atin famin nafsik; wa arsalnaaka linnaasi Rasoolaa; wa kafaa billaahi Shaheedaa

مَّن یُطِعِ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَقَدۡ أَطَاعَ ٱللَّهَۖ وَمَن تَوَلَّىٰ فَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ حَفِیظࣰا

جس نے رسول کا حکم مانا اس نے الله کا حکم مانا اور جس نے منہ موڑا تو ہم نے تجھے ان پر نگہبان بنا کر نہیں بھیجا

He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian.

Man yuti'ir Rasoola faqad ataa'al laaha wa man tawallaa famaaa arsalnaaka 'alaihim hafeezaa

وَیَقُولُونَ طَاعَةࣱ فَإِذَا بَرَزُوا۟ مِنۡ عِندِكَ بَیَّتَ طَاۤىِٕفَةࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ غَیۡرَ ٱلَّذِی تَقُولُۖ وَٱللَّهُ یَكۡتُبُ مَا یُبَیِّتُونَۖ فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِیلًا

اور کہتے ہیں قبول کیا پھر جب تیرے ہاں سے باہر گئے تو ان میں سے ایک گروہ رات کو جمع ہو کر تمہاری باتو ں کے خلاف مشورہ کرتا ہے اور الله لکھتا ہے جو وہ مشورہ کرتے ہیں تو ان کی پرواہ نہ کر اور الله پر بھروسہ کر اور الله کارساز کافی ہے

And they say, "[We pledge] obedience." But when they leave you, a group of them spend the night determining to do other than what you say. But Allah records what they plan by night. So leave them alone and rely upon Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

Wa yaqooloona taa'antun fa izaa barazoo min 'indika baiyata taaa'ifatum minhum ghairal lazee taqoolu wallaahu yaktubu maa yubaiyitoona faa'rid 'anhum wa tawakkal 'alal laah; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa

أَفَلَا یَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَۚ وَلَوۡ كَانَ مِنۡ عِندِ غَیۡرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا۟ فِیهِ ٱخۡتِلَـٰفࣰا كَثِیرࣰا

کیا یہ لوگ قرآن میں غور نہیں کرتے اور اگر یہ قرآن سوائے الله کے کسی اور کی طرف سے ہوتا تو وہ اس میں بہت اختلاف پاتے

Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.

Afalaa yatadabbaroonal Qur'aan; wa law kaana min 'indi ghairil laahi la wajadoo fee hikh tilaafan kaseeraa

وَإِذَا جَاۤءَهُمۡ أَمۡرࣱ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡنِ أَوِ ٱلۡخَوۡفِ أَذَاعُوا۟ بِهِۦۖ وَلَوۡ رَدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ وَإِلَىٰۤ أُو۟لِی ٱلۡأَمۡرِ مِنۡهُمۡ لَعَلِمَهُ ٱلَّذِینَ یَسۡتَنۢبِطُونَهُۥ مِنۡهُمۡۗ وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ لَٱتَّبَعۡتُمُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا

اور جب ان کے پاس کوئی خبر امن یا ڈر کی پہنچتی ہے تو اسے مشہور کر دیتے ہیں اور اگر اسے رسول او راپنی جماعت کے ذمہ دار اصحاب تک پہنچاتے تو اس کی تحقیق کرتے جو ان میں تحقیق کرنے والے ہیں اوراگر تم پر الله کا فضل اوراس کی مہربانی نہ ہوتی تو البتہ تم شیطان کے پیچھے ہو لیتے سوائے چند لوگوں کے

And when there comes to them information about [public] security or fear, they spread it around. But if they had referred it back to the Messenger or to those of authority among them, then the ones who [can] draw correct conclusions from it would have known about it. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have followed Satan, except for a few.

Wa izaa jaaa'ahum amrum minal amni awil kkhawfi azaa'oo bihee wa law raddoohu ilar Rasooli wa ilaaa ulil amri minhum la'alimahul lazeena yastambitoonahoo minhum; wa law laa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo lattaba'tumush Shaitaana illaa qaleelaa

فَقَـٰتِلۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُكَلَّفُ إِلَّا نَفۡسَكَۚ وَحَرِّضِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَۖ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن یَكُفَّ بَأۡسَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ۚ وَٱللَّهُ أَشَدُّ بَأۡسࣰا وَأَشَدُّ تَنكِیلࣰا

سو تو الله کی راہ میں لڑ تو سوائے اپنی جان کے کسی کا ذمہ دار نہیں اور مسلمانوں کو تاکید کر قریب ہے کہ الله کافرو ں کی لڑائی بند کر دے اور الله لڑائی میں بہت ہی سخت ہےاور سزا دینے میں بھی بہت سخت ہے

So fight, [O Muhammad], in the cause of Allah; you are not held responsible except for yourself. And encourage the believers [to join you] that perhaps Allah will restrain the [military] might of those who disbelieve. And Allah is greater in might and stronger in [exemplary] punishment.

Faqaatil fee sabeelil laahi laa tukallafu illa nafsaka wa harridil mu'mineena 'asallaahu ai yakuffa baasallazeena kafaroo; wallaahu ashaddu baasanw wa ashaaddu tanakeelaa

مَّن یَشۡفَعۡ شَفَـٰعَةً حَسَنَةࣰ یَكُن لَّهُۥ نَصِیبࣱ مِّنۡهَاۖ وَمَن یَشۡفَعۡ شَفَـٰعَةࣰ سَیِّئَةࣰ یَكُن لَّهُۥ كِفۡلࣱ مِّنۡهَاۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ مُّقِیتࣰا

جو کوئی اچھی بات میں سفارش کرے اسے بھی اس میں سے ایک حصہ ملے گا اور جو کوئی بری بات میں سفارش کرے اس میں سے ایک بوجھ اس پر بھی ہے اور الله ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے

Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper.

Mai yashfa' shafaa'atan hasanatay yakul lahoo naseebum minhaa wa mai yashfa' shafaa'tan saiyi'atanny-yakul lahoo kiflum minhaa; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'im Muqeetaa

وَإِذَا حُیِّیتُم بِتَحِیَّةࣲ فَحَیُّوا۟ بِأَحۡسَنَ مِنۡهَاۤ أَوۡ رُدُّوهَاۤۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءٍ حَسِیبًا

اور جب تمہیں کوئی دعا دے تو تم اس سے بہتر دعا دو یا الٹ کر ویسی ہی کہو بے شک الله ہر چیز کا حساب لینے والا ہے

And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet [in return] with one better than it or [at least] return it [in a like manner]. Indeed, Allah is ever, over all things, an Accountant.

Wa izaa huyyeetum bitahiy yatin fahaiyoo bi ahsana minhaaa aw ruddoohaa; innal laaha kaana 'alaa kulli shai'in Haseeba

ٱللَّهُ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ لَیَجۡمَعَنَّكُمۡ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیهِۗ وَمَنۡ أَصۡدَقُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ حَدِیثࣰا

الله وہ ہے جس کے سوا کوئی بندگی نہیں بے شک قیامت کے دن تم سب کو جمع کرے گا اس میں کوئی شک نہیں اور الله سے بڑھ کر کس کی بات سچی ہو سکتی ہے

Allah - there is no deity except Him. He will surely assemble you for [account on] the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. And who is more truthful than Allah in statement.

Allaahu laaa ilaaha illaa huwa la yajma'annakum ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati laa raiba feeh; wa man asdaqu mminallaahi hadeesaa

۞ فَمَا لَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ فِئَتَیۡنِ وَٱللَّهُ أَرۡكَسَهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوۤا۟ۚ أَتُرِیدُونَ أَن تَهۡدُوا۟ مَنۡ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَن یُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِیلࣰا

پھر تمہیں کیا ہو گیا ہے کہ منافقوں کے معاملہ میں دو گروہ ہو رہے ہیں اور الله نے ان کے اعمال کے سبب سےانہیں الٹ دیا ہے کیا تم چاہتے ہو جسے الله نے گمراہ کیا ہو اسے راہ پر لاؤ اور جسے الله گمراہ کرے تو اس کے لیے ہرگز کوئی راہ نہیں پائے گا

What is [the matter] with you [that you are] two groups concerning the hypocrites, while Allah has made them fall back [into error and disbelief] for what they earned. Do you wish to guide those whom Allah has sent astray? And he whom Allah sends astray - never will you find for him a way [of guidance].

Famaa lakum filmuna afiqeena fi'ataini wallaahu arkasahum bimaa kasaboo; atureedoona an tahdoo man adallal laahu wa mmai yudlilil laahu falan tajida lahoo sabeelaa

وَدُّوا۟ لَوۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُوا۟ فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاۤءࣰۖ فَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ مِنۡهُمۡ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَ حَتَّىٰ یُهَاجِرُوا۟ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡا۟ فَخُذُوهُمۡ وَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡ حَیۡثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمۡۖ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ مِنۡهُمۡ وَلِیࣰّا وَلَا نَصِیرًا

وہ تو چاہتے ہیں کہ جیسے وہ کافر ہوئے ہیں تم بھی کافر ہو جاؤ پھر تم سب برابر ہو جاؤ لہذا ان میں سے کسی کو اپنا دوست نہ بناؤ جب تک وہ الله کی راہ میں ہجرت کر کے نہ آ جائیں پھر اگر وہ اس بات کو قبول نہ کریں تو جہاں پاؤ انہیں پکڑو اور قتل کرو اور ان میں سے کسی کو اپنے دوست اور مددگار نہ بناؤ

They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.

Wadoo law takfuroona kamaa kafaroo fatakoonoona sawaaa'an falaa tattakhizoo minhum awliyaaa'a hattaa yuhaajiroo fee sabeelil laah; fa in tawallaw fa khuzoohum waqtuloohum haisu wajat tumoohum wa laa tattakhizoo minhum waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ یَصِلُونَ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِۭ بَیۡنَكُمۡ وَبَیۡنَهُم مِّیثَـٰقٌ أَوۡ جَاۤءُوكُمۡ حَصِرَتۡ صُدُورُهُمۡ أَن یُقَـٰتِلُوكُمۡ أَوۡ یُقَـٰتِلُوا۟ قَوۡمَهُمۡۚ وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمۡ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فَلَقَـٰتَلُوكُمۡۚ فَإِنِ ٱعۡتَزَلُوكُمۡ فَلَمۡ یُقَـٰتِلُوكُمۡ وَأَلۡقَوۡا۟ إِلَیۡكُمُ ٱلسَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ عَلَیۡهِمۡ سَبِیلࣰا

البتہ وہ منافق اس حکم سے مستثنیٰ ہیں جو کسی ایسی قوم سے جا ملیں جس کے ساتھ تمہارا معاہدہ ہو یا وہ جو تمہارے پاس آتے ہیں اور لڑائی سے دل برداشتہ ہیں نہ تم سے لڑتے ہیں اور نہ اپنی قوم سے اور اگر الله چاہتا تو انہیں تم پر مسلط کر دیتا ہے پھر وہ تم سے لڑتے ہیں سو اگر وہ تم سے یک سو رہیں اور تم سے نہ لڑیں او رتمہاری طرف صلح کا ہاتھ بڑھائیں تو الله نے تمہیں ان پر کوئی راہ نہیں دی

Except for those who take refuge with a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty or those who come to you, their hearts strained at [the prospect of] fighting you or fighting their own people. And if Allah had willed, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. So if they remove themselves from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not made for you a cause [for fighting] against them.

Illal lazeena yasiloona ilaa qawmim binakum wa bainahum meesaaqun aw jaaa'ookum hasirat sudooruhum ai yuqaatilookum aw yuqaatiloo qawmahum, wa law shaaa'al laahu lasallatahum 'alaikum falaqaatalookum; fa ini' tazalookum falam yuqaatilookum wa alqaw ilaikumus salama famaa ja'alal laahu lakum 'alaihim sabeelaa

سَتَجِدُونَ ءَاخَرِینَ یُرِیدُونَ أَن یَأۡمَنُوكُمۡ وَیَأۡمَنُوا۟ قَوۡمَهُمۡ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱلۡفِتۡنَةِ أُرۡكِسُوا۟ فِیهَاۚ فَإِن لَّمۡ یَعۡتَزِلُوكُمۡ وَیُلۡقُوۤا۟ إِلَیۡكُمُ ٱلسَّلَمَ وَیَكُفُّوۤا۟ أَیۡدِیَهُمۡ فَخُذُوهُمۡ وَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡ حَیۡثُ ثَقِفۡتُمُوهُمۡۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكُمۡ جَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ عَلَیۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا مُّبِینࣰا

ایک اور قسم کے تم منافق دیکھو گے جو چاہتے ہیں تم سے بھی امن میں رہیں اور اپنی قوم سے بھی جب کبھی وہ فساد کی طرف لوٹائے جاتے ہیں تو اس میں کود پڑتے ہیں پھر اگر وہ تم سے یک سو نہ رہیں اور تہارے آگے صلح پیش نہ کریں اور اپنے ہاتھ نہ روکیں تو انہیں جہاں پا پکڑو او رمار ڈالو اور ان پر ہاتھ اٹھانے کے لیے ہم نے تمہیں کھلی حجت دے دی ہے

You will find others who wish to obtain security from you and [to] obtain security from their people. Every time they are returned to [the influence of] disbelief, they fall back into it. So if they do not withdraw from you or offer you peace or restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you overtake them. And those - We have made for you against them a clear authorization.

Satajidoona aakhareena yureedoona ai yaamanookum wa yaamanoo qawmahum kullamaa ruddooo ilal itnati urkisoo feehaa; fa il lam ya'tazilookum wa yulqooo ilai kumus salama wa yakuffooo aidiyahum fakhuzoohum waqtuloohum haisu saqif tumoohum; wa ulaaa'ikum ja'alnaa lakum 'alaihim sultaanam mubeenaa

وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤۡمِنٍ أَن یَقۡتُلَ مُؤۡمِنًا إِلَّا خَطَـࣰٔاۚ وَمَن قَتَلَ مُؤۡمِنًا خَطَـࣰٔا فَتَحۡرِیرُ رَقَبَةࣲ مُّؤۡمِنَةࣲ وَدِیَةࣱ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِهِۦۤ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَصَّدَّقُوا۟ۚ فَإِن كَانَ مِن قَوۡمٍ عَدُوࣲّ لَّكُمۡ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنࣱ فَتَحۡرِیرُ رَقَبَةࣲ مُّؤۡمِنَةࣲۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِن قَوۡمِۭ بَیۡنَكُمۡ وَبَیۡنَهُم مِّیثَـٰقࣱ فَدِیَةࣱ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِهِۦ وَتَحۡرِیرُ رَقَبَةࣲ مُّؤۡمِنَةࣲۖ فَمَن لَّمۡ یَجِدۡ فَصِیَامُ شَهۡرَیۡنِ مُتَتَابِعَیۡنِ تَوۡبَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمࣰا

اور مسلمانوں کا یہ کام نہیں کہ کسی مسلمان کو قتل کرے مگر غلطی سے اور جو مسلمان کو غلطی سے قتل کرے تو ایک مسلمان کی گردن آزاد کرے اور مقتول کے وارثوں کو خون بہا دے مگر یہ کہ وہ خون بہا معاف کر دیں پھر اگر وہ مسلمان مقتول کسی ایسی قوم میں تھا جس سے تمہاری دشمنی ہے تو ایک مومن غلام آزاد کرنا ہے اور اگر وہ مقتول مسلمان کسی ایسی قوم میں سے تھا جس سے تمہارا معاہدہ ہے تو اس کے وارثوں کو خون بہا دیا جائے گا اور ایک مومن غلام کو آزاد کرنا ہوگا پھر جو غلام نہ پائے وہ پے درپے دو مہینے کے روزے رکھے الله سےگناہ بخشوانے کے لیے اور الله جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے

And never is it for a believer to kill a believer except by mistake. And whoever kills a believer by mistake - then the freeing of a believing slave and a compensation payment presented to the deceased's family [is required] unless they give [up their right as] charity. But if the deceased was from a people at war with you and he was a believer - then [only] the freeing of a believing slave; and if he was from a people with whom you have a treaty - then a compensation payment presented to his family and the freeing of a believing slave. And whoever does not find [one or cannot afford to buy one] - then [instead], a fast for two months consecutively, [seeking] acceptance of repentance from Allah. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

Wa maa kaana limu'minin ai yaqtula mu'minan illaa khata'aa; waman qatala mu'minan khata'an fatabreeru raqabatim mu'minatinw wa diyatum mmusallamatun ilaaa ahliheee illaaa ai yassaddaqoo; fa in kaana min qawmin 'aduwwil lakum wa huwa mu'minun fatabreeru raqabatim mu'minah; wa in kaana min qawmim bainakum wa bainahum meesaaqun fadiyatum mmusallamatun ilaaa ahlihee wa tahreeru raqabatim mu'minatin famal lam yajid fa Siyaamu shahraini mutataabi'aini tawhatam minal laah; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman hakeemaa

وَمَن یَقۡتُلۡ مُؤۡمِنࣰا مُّتَعَمِّدࣰا فَجَزَاۤؤُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ خَـٰلِدࣰا فِیهَا وَغَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهِ وَلَعَنَهُۥ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُۥ عَذَابًا عَظِیمࣰا

اور جو کوئی کسی مسلمان کو جان کر قتل کرے اس کی سزا دوزخ ہے جس میں وہ ہمیشہ رہے گا اس پر الله کا غضب اور اس کی لعنت ہے اور الله نے اس کےلیے بڑا عذاب تیا رکیا ہے

But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment.

Wa mai yaqtul mu'minammuta 'ammidan fajazaaa'uhoo Jahannamu khaalidan feehaa wa ghadibal laahu' alaihi wa la'anahoo wa a'adda lahoo 'azaaban 'azeemaa

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِذَا ضَرَبۡتُمۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ فَتَبَیَّنُوا۟ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَنۡ أَلۡقَىٰۤ إِلَیۡكُمُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمَ لَسۡتَ مُؤۡمِنࣰا تَبۡتَغُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا فَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَغَانِمُ كَثِیرَةࣱۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ كُنتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فَتَبَیَّنُوۤا۟ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرࣰا

اے ایمان والو! جب الله کی راہ میں سفر کرو تو تحقیق کر لیا کرو او جو تم پر سلام کہے اس کو مت کہو کہ مسلمان نہیں ہے تم دنیا کی زندگی کا سامان چاہتے ہو سو الله کے ہاں بہت غنیمتیں ہیں تم بھی تو اس سے پہلے ایسے ہی تھے پھر الله نے تم پر احسان کیا لہذا تحقیق سے کام لیا کرو بے شک الله تمہارے کاموں سے باخبر ہے

O you who have believed, when you go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah, investigate; and do not say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace "You are not a believer," aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo izaa darabtum fee sabeelil laahi fatabaiyanoo wa laa taqooloo liman alqaaa ilaikumus salaama lasta mu'minan tabtaghoona 'aradal hayaatid dunyaa fa'indal laahi maghaanimu kaseerah; kazaalika kuntum min qablu famannnal laahu 'alaikum fatabaiyanoo; innallaaha kaana bimaa ta'maloona Khabeeraa

لَّا یَسۡتَوِی ٱلۡقَـٰعِدُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ غَیۡرُ أُو۟لِی ٱلضَّرَرِ وَٱلۡمُجَـٰهِدُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُجَـٰهِدِینَ بِأَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡقَـٰعِدِینَ دَرَجَةࣰۚ وَكُلࣰّا وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ وَفَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُجَـٰهِدِینَ عَلَى ٱلۡقَـٰعِدِینَ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمࣰا

مسلمانوں میں سے جو لوگ کسی عذر کے بغیر گھر بیٹھے رہتے ہیں اور وہ جو الله کی راہ میں جان و مال سے جہاد کرتے ہیں دونوں برابر نہیں ہیں الله نے بیٹھنے والوں پر جان و مال سے جہاد کرنے والوں کا درجہ بڑھایا دیا ہے اگرچہ ہر ایک سے الله نے بھلائي کا وعدہ کیا ہے اور الله نے لڑنے والوں کو بیٹھنے والوں سے اجر عظیم میں زیادہ کیا ہے

Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujahideen, [who strive and fight] in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred the mujahideen through their wealth and their lives over those who remain [behind], by degrees. And to both Allah has promised the best [reward]. But Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward -

Laa yastawil qaa'idoona Minal mu'mineena ghairu ulid darari walmujaahidoona fee sabeelil laahi bi amwaalihim wa anfusihim; faddalal laahul mujaahideena bi amwaalihim wa anfusihim; faddalal laahul mujaahideena bi am waalihim wa anfusihim 'alalqaa'ideena darajab; wa kullanw wa'adal laahul husnaa; wa faddalal laahul mujaahideena 'alal qaa'ideena ajran 'azeemaa

دَرَجَـٰتࣲ مِّنۡهُ وَمَغۡفِرَةࣰ وَرَحۡمَةࣰۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمًا

ان کے لیے الله کی طرف سے بڑے درجے اور مغفرت اور رحمت ہے اور الله معاف کرنے والا رحم کرنے والا ہے

Degrees [of high position] from Him and forgiveness and mercy. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

Darajaatim minhu wa maghfiratanw wa rahmah; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ تَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ ظَالِمِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ قَالُوا۟ فِیمَ كُنتُمۡۖ قَالُوا۟ كُنَّا مُسۡتَضۡعَفِینَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ قَالُوۤا۟ أَلَمۡ تَكُنۡ أَرۡضُ ٱللَّهِ وَ ٰ⁠سِعَةࣰ فَتُهَاجِرُوا۟ فِیهَاۚ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَسَاۤءَتۡ مَصِیرًا

بے شک جو لوگ اپنے نفسوں پر ظلم کر رہے تھے ان کی روحیں جب فرشتوں نے قبض کیں توان سے پوچھا کہ تم کس حال میں تھے انہوں نے جواب دیا ہم اس ملک میں بے بس تھے فرتشوں نے کہا کیا الله کی زمین وسیع نہ تھی کہ تم اس میں ہجرت کر جاتےسو ایسوں کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے اور بہت ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے

Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination.

Innal lazeena tawaffaa humul malaaa'ikatu zaalimeee anfusihim qaaloo feema kuntum qaaloo kunnaa mustad'afeena fil-ard; qaalooo alam takun ardul laahi waasi'atan fatuhaajiroo feehaa; fa ulaaa'ika maawaahum Jahannamu wa saaa'at maseeraa

إِلَّا ٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِینَ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَاۤءِ وَٱلۡوِلۡدَ ٰ⁠نِ لَا یَسۡتَطِیعُونَ حِیلَةࣰ وَلَا یَهۡتَدُونَ سَبِیلࣰا

ہاں جو مرد اور عورتیں اور بچے کافی کمزور ہیں جو نکلنے کا کوئی ذریعہ اور راستہ نہیں پاتے

Except for the oppressed among men, women and children who cannot devise a plan nor are they directed to a way -

Illal mustad 'afeena minar rijaali wannisaaa'i walwildaani laa yastatee'oona heelatanw wa laa yahtadoona sabeela

فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن یَعۡفُوَ عَنۡهُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَفُوًّا غَفُورࣰا

پس امید ہے کہ ایسوں کو الله معاف کر دے اور الله معاف کرنے والا بخشنے والا ہے

For those it is expected that Allah will pardon them, and Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.

Fa ulaaa'ika 'asal laahu ai ya'fuwa 'anhum; wa kaanal laahu 'Afuwwan Ghafooraa

۞ وَمَن یُهَاجِرۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ یَجِدۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُرَ ٰ⁠غَمࣰا كَثِیرࣰا وَسَعَةࣰۚ وَمَن یَخۡرُجۡ مِنۢ بَیۡتِهِۦ مُهَاجِرًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ثُمَّ یُدۡرِكۡهُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَقَدۡ وَقَعَ أَجۡرُهُۥ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا

اور جو کوئی الله کی راہ میں وطن چھوڑے اس کے عوض جگہ بہت اور کشائش پائے گا اور جو کوئی اپنے گھر سے الله اور رسول کی طرف ہجرت کر کے نکلے پھر اس کو موت پالے تو الله کے ہاں اس کا ثواب ہو چکا اور الله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many [alternative] locations and abundance. And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him - his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

Wa mai yuhaajir fee sabeelil laahi yajid fil ardi mmuraaghaman kaseeranw wa sa'ah; wa mai yakhruj mim baitihee muhaajiran ilal laahi wa Rasoolihee summa yudrikhul mawtu faqad waqa'a ajruhoo 'alal laah; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheemaa

وَإِذَا ضَرَبۡتُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَلَیۡسَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَقۡصُرُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ إِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ أَن یَفۡتِنَكُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ كَانُوا۟ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣰّا مُّبِینࣰا

اور جب تم سفر کے لیے نکلو تو تم پر کوئی گناہ نہیں نماز میں سے کچھ کم کر دو اگر تمہیں یہ ڈر ہو کہ کافر تمہیں ستائیں گے بےشک کافر تمہارے صریح دشمن ہیں

And when you travel throughout the land, there is no blame upon you for shortening the prayer, [especially] if you fear that those who disbelieve may disrupt [or attack] you. Indeed, the disbelievers are ever to you a clear enemy.

Wa izaa darabtum fil ardi falaisa 'alaikum junaahun an taqsuroo minas Salaati in khiftum ai yaftinakumul lazeena kafarooo; innal kaafireena kaanoo lakum aduwwam mubeenaa

وَإِذَا كُنتَ فِیهِمۡ فَأَقَمۡتَ لَهُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَلۡتَقُمۡ طَاۤىِٕفَةࣱ مِّنۡهُم مَّعَكَ وَلۡیَأۡخُذُوۤا۟ أَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡۖ فَإِذَا سَجَدُوا۟ فَلۡیَكُونُوا۟ مِن وَرَاۤىِٕكُمۡ وَلۡتَأۡتِ طَاۤىِٕفَةٌ أُخۡرَىٰ لَمۡ یُصَلُّوا۟ فَلۡیُصَلُّوا۟ مَعَكَ وَلۡیَأۡخُذُوا۟ حِذۡرَهُمۡ وَأَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡۗ وَدَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوۡ تَغۡفُلُونَ عَنۡ أَسۡلِحَتِكُمۡ وَأَمۡتِعَتِكُمۡ فَیَمِیلُونَ عَلَیۡكُم مَّیۡلَةࣰ وَ ٰ⁠حِدَةࣰۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ إِن كَانَ بِكُمۡ أَذࣰى مِّن مَّطَرٍ أَوۡ كُنتُم مَّرۡضَىٰۤ أَن تَضَعُوۤا۟ أَسۡلِحَتَكُمۡۖ وَخُذُوا۟ حِذۡرَكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ عَذَابࣰا مُّهِینࣰا

اے نبی جب تم مسلمانو ں میں موجود ہو اور انہیں نماز پڑھانے کے لیے کھڑا ہو تو چاہیئے ان میں سے ایک جماعت تیرے ساتھ کھڑی ہو اور اپنے ہتھیار ساتھ لے لیں پھر جب یہ سجدہ کریں تو تیرے پیچھے سے ہٹ جائیں اور دوسری جماعت آئے جس نے نماز نہیں پڑھی وہ تیرے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے اور وہ بھی اپنے بچاؤ اور اپنے ہتھیار ساتھ رکھیں کافر چاہتے ہیں کہ کسی طرح تم اپنے ہتھیاروں اور اسباب سے بے خبر ہو جاؤ تاکہ تم پر یک بارگی ٹوٹ پڑیں اور اگر تم بارش کی وجہ سے تکلیف محسوس کرو یا بیمار ہو تو ہتھیار رکھ دینے میں کوئي مضائقہ نہیں اور (تب بھی) اپنا بچاؤ ساتھ رکھو بے شک الله نے کافروں کے لیے ذلت کا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

And when you are among them and lead them in prayer, let a group of them stand [in prayer] with you and let them carry their arms. And when they have prostrated, let them be [in position] behind you and have the other group come forward which has not [yet] prayed and let them pray with you, taking precaution and carrying their arms. Those who disbelieve wish that you would neglect your weapons and your baggage so they could come down upon you in one [single] attack. But there is no blame upon you, if you are troubled by rain or are ill, for putting down your arms, but take precaution. Indeed, Allah has prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment.

Wa izaa kunta feehim fa aqamta lahumus Salaata faltaqum taaa'ifatum minhum ma'aka walyaakhuzooo aslihatahum fa izaa sajadoo fal yakoonoo minw waraaa'ikum waltaati taaa'ifatun ukhraa lam yusalloo falyusallo ma'aka walyaakhuzoo hizrahum wa aslihatahum; waddal lazeena kafaroo law taghfuloona 'anaslihatikum wa amti'atikum fa yameeloona 'alaikum mailatanw waahidah; wa laa junaaha 'alaikum in kaana bikum azam mimmatarin aw kuntum mmardaaa an tada'ooo aslihatakum wa khuzoo hizrakum; innal laaha a'adda lilkaafireena 'azaabam muheenaa

فَإِذَا قَضَیۡتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱذۡكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قِیَـٰمࣰا وَقُعُودࣰا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمۡۚ فَإِذَا ٱطۡمَأۡنَنتُمۡ فَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ كَانَتۡ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ كِتَـٰبࣰا مَّوۡقُوتࣰا

پھر جب نماز سے فارغ ہو جاؤ تو الله کو کھڑے او ربیٹھے اور لیٹے ہونے کی حالت میں یاد کرو پھر جب تمہیں اطمینان ہو جائے تو پوری نماز پڑھو بے شک نماز اپنے مقرر وقتوں میں مسلمانوں پر فرض ہے

And when you have completed the prayer, remember Allah standing, sitting, or [lying] on your sides. But when you become secure, re-establish [regular] prayer. Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.

Fa izaa qadaitumus Salaata fazkurul laaha qiyaamanw wa qu'oodanw wa 'alaa junoobikum; fa izat maanantum fa aqeemus Salaah; innas Salaata kaanat 'alal mu'mineena kitaabam mawqootaa

وَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ فِی ٱبۡتِغَاۤءِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِۖ إِن تَكُونُوا۟ تَأۡلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمۡ یَأۡلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأۡلَمُونَۖ وَتَرۡجُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا یَرۡجُونَۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمًا

اور ان لوگوں کا پیچھا کرنے سے ہمت نہ ہارو اگر تم تکلیف اٹھاتے ہو تو وہ بھی تمہاری طرح تکلیف اٹھاتے ہیں حالانکہ تم الله سے جس چیز کے امیدوار ہو وہ نہیں ہیں اور الله سب کچھ جاننے والا حکمت ولا ہے

And do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy. If you should be suffering - so are they suffering as you are suffering, but you expect from Allah that which they expect not. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

Wa laa tahinoo fibtighaaa'il qawmi in takoonoo taalamoona fa innahum yaalamoona kamaa taalamoona wa tarjoona minal laahi maa laa yarjoon; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman Hakeemaa

إِنَّاۤ أَنزَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِتَحۡكُمَ بَیۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَاۤ أَرَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلۡخَاۤىِٕنِینَ خَصِیمࣰا

بے شک ہم نے تیری طرف سچی کتاب اتاری ہے تاکہ تو لوگوں میں انصاف کرے جو کچھ تمہیں الله سجھا دے اور تو بد دیانت لوگوں کی طرف سے جھگڑنے والا نہ ہو

Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate.

Innaaa anzalnaaa ilaikal Kitaaba bilhaqqi litahkuma bainan naasi bimaaa araakal laah; wa laa takul lilkhaaa'ineena khaseemaa

وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا

اور الله سے بخشش مانگ بے شک الله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

Wastaghfiril laaha innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheema

وَلَا تُجَـٰدِلۡ عَنِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَخۡتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِیمࣰا

اور ان لوگوں کی طرف سے مت جھگڑو جو اپنے دل میں دغا رکھتے ہیں جو شخص دغا باز گناہگار ہو بے شک الله اسے پسند نہیں کرتا

And do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Indeed, Allah loves not one who is a habitually sinful deceiver.

Wa laa tujaadil 'anil lazeena yakhtaanoona anfusahum; innal laaha laa yuhibbuman kaana khawwaanan aseemaa

یَسۡتَخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا یَسۡتَخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمۡ إِذۡ یُبَیِّتُونَ مَا لَا یَرۡضَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا یَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِیطًا

یہ لوگوں سے تو چھپتے ہیں اور خدا سے نہیں چھپتے حالانکہ جب وہ راتوں کو ایسی باتوں کے مشورے کیا کرتے ہیں جن کو وہ پسند نہیں کرتا ان کے ساتھ ہوا کرتا ہے اور خدا ان کے (تمام) کاموں پر احاطہ کئے ہوئے ہے

They conceal [their evil intentions and deeds] from the people, but they cannot conceal [them] from Allah, and He is with them [in His knowledge] when they spend the night in such as He does not accept of speech. And ever is Allah, of what they do, encompassing.

Yastakhfoona minannaasi wa laa yastakh foona minal laahi wa huwa ma'ahum iz yubaiyitoona maa laa yardaa minal qawl; wa kaanal laahu bimaa ya'maloona muheetaa

هَـٰۤأَنتُمۡ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ جَـٰدَلۡتُمۡ عَنۡهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا فَمَن یُجَـٰدِلُ ٱللَّهَ عَنۡهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ أَم مَّن یَكُونُ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَكِیلࣰا

ہاں تم لوگوں نے ان مجرمو ں کی طرف سے دنیا کی زندگی میں تو جھگڑا کر لیا پھر قیامت کے دن ان کی طرف سے الله سے کون جھگڑے گا یا ان کا وکیل کون ہوگا

Here you are - those who argue on their behalf in [this] worldly life - but who will argue with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will [then] be their representative?

haaa antum haaa'ulaaa'i jaadaltum 'anhum fil hayaatid dunyaa famai yujaadilul laaha 'anhum Yawmal Qiyaamati am mai yakoonu 'alaihim wakeelaa

وَمَن یَعۡمَلۡ سُوۤءًا أَوۡ یَظۡلِمۡ نَفۡسَهُۥ ثُمَّ یَسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَ یَجِدِ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا

اور جو کوئی برا فعل کرے یا اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرے پھراس کے بعد اللهسےبخشوائے تو الله کو بخشنے والا مہربان پائے

And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

Wa mai ya'mal sooo'an aw yazlim nafsahoo summa yastaghfiril laaha yajidil laaha Ghafoorar Raheemaa

وَمَن یَكۡسِبۡ إِثۡمࣰا فَإِنَّمَا یَكۡسِبُهُۥ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمࣰا

اور جو کوئی گناہ کرے سو اپنےہی حق میں کرتا ہے اور الله سب باتوں کا جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے

And whoever commits a sin only earns it against himself. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

Wa mai yaksib isman fa innamaa yaksibuhoo 'alaa nafsih; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman hakeemaa

وَمَن یَكۡسِبۡ خَطِیۤـَٔةً أَوۡ إِثۡمࣰا ثُمَّ یَرۡمِ بِهِۦ بَرِیۤـࣰٔا فَقَدِ ٱحۡتَمَلَ بُهۡتَـٰنࣰا وَإِثۡمࣰا مُّبِینࣰا

اور جو کوئی خطا یا گناہ کرے پھر کسی بے گنا پر تہمت لگادے تو اس نے بڑے بہتان اور صریح گناہ کا بار سمیٹ لیا

But whoever earns an offense or a sin and then blames it on an innocent [person] has taken upon himself a slander and manifest sin.

Wa mai yaksib khateee'atan aw isman summa yarmi bihee bareee'an faqadih tamala buhtaananw wa ismam mubeenaa

وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكَ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ لَهَمَّت طَّاۤىِٕفَةࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن یُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا یُضِلُّونَ إِلَّاۤ أَنفُسَهُمۡۖ وَمَا یَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَیۡءࣲۚ وَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمۡ تَكُن تَعۡلَمُۚ وَكَانَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكَ عَظِیمࣰا

اور اگر تجھ پر الله کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت نہ ہوتی تو ان میں سے ایک گروہ نے تمہیں غلط فہمی میں مبتلا کرنے کا فیصلہ کرہی لیا تھا حالا نکہ وہ اپنے سوا کسی کو غلط فہمی میں مبتلانہیں کر سکتے تھے اور وہ تمہارا کچھ نہیں بگاڑ سکتے تھے اور الله نے تجھ پر کتاب اور حکمت نازل کی ہے اور تجھے وہ باتیں سکھائی ہیں جو تو نہ جانتا تھا اور الله کا تجھ پر بہت بڑا فضل ہے

And if it was not for the favor of Allah upon you, [O Muhammad], and His mercy, a group of them would have determined to mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they will not harm you at all. And Allah has revealed to you the Book and wisdom and has taught you that which you did not know. And ever has the favor of Allah upon you been great.

Wa law laa fadlul laahi 'alaika wa rahmatuhoo lahammat taaa'ifatum minhum ai yudillooka wa maa yudilloona illaaa anfusahum wa maa yadurroonaka min shai'; wa anzalal laahu 'alaikal Kitaaba wal Hikmata wa 'allamaka maa lam takun ta'lam; wa kaana fadlul laahi 'alaika 'azeemaa

۞ لَّا خَیۡرَ فِی كَثِیرࣲ مِّن نَّجۡوَىٰهُمۡ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوۡ مَعۡرُوفٍ أَوۡ إِصۡلَـٰحِۭ بَیۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِۚ وَمَن یَفۡعَلۡ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱبۡتِغَاۤءَ مَرۡضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ فَسَوۡفَ نُؤۡتِیهِ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمࣰا

ان لوگو ں کی خفیہ سرگوشیوں میں اکثر کوئی بھلائی نہیں ہوتی ہاں مگر کوئی پوشیدہ طور پر صدقہ کرنے یا کسی نیک کام کرنے یا لوگو ں میں صلح کرانے میں کی جائے تو یہ بھلی بات ہے اور جو شخص یہ کام الله کی رضا جوئی کے لیے کرے تو ہم اسے بڑا ثواب دیں گے

No good is there in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or that which is right or conciliation between people. And whoever does that seeking means to the approval of Allah - then We are going to give him a great reward.

laa khaira fee kaseerim min najwaahum illaa man amara bisadaqatin aw ma'roofin aw islaahim bainan naas; wa mai yaf'al zaalikab tighaaa'a mardaatil laahi fa sawfa nu'teehi ajran 'azeemaa

وَمَن یُشَاقِقِ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَیَّنَ لَهُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَیَتَّبِعۡ غَیۡرَ سَبِیلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ نُوَلِّهِۦ مَا تَوَلَّىٰ وَنُصۡلِهِۦ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَسَاۤءَتۡ مَصِیرًا

اور جو کوئی رسول کی مخالفت کرے بعد اس کے کہ اس پر سیدھی راہ کھل چکی ہو اور سب مسلمانوں کے راستہ کے خلاف چلے تو ہم اسے اسی طرف چلائیں گے جدھر وہ خود پھر گیا ہے اور اسے دوزح میں ڈال دینگے اور وہ بہت برا ٹھکانا ہے

And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination.

Wa mai yushaaqiqir Rasoola mim ba'di maa tabaiyana lahul hudaa wa tattabi' ghaira sabeelil mu'mineena nuwallihee ma tawallaa wa nuslihee Jahannama wa saaa'at maseeraa

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَغۡفِرُ أَن یُشۡرَكَ بِهِۦ وَیَغۡفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَمَن یُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلَـٰلَۢا بَعِیدًا

بے شک الله اس کو نہیں بخشتا جو کسی کو اس کا شریک بنائے اس کے سوا جسے چاہے بخش دے اور جس نے الله کا شریک ٹھیرایا وہ بڑی دور کی گمراہی میں جا پڑا

Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray.

Innal laaha laa yaghfiru ai yushraka bihee wayaghfiru maa doona zaalika limai yashaaa'; wa mai yushrik billaahi faqad dalla dalaalam ba'eedaa

إِن یَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦۤ إِلَّاۤ إِنَـٰثࣰا وَإِن یَدۡعُونَ إِلَّا شَیۡطَـٰنࣰا مَّرِیدࣰا

یہ لوگ الله کے سوا عورتو ں کی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور صرف شیطان سرکش کی عبادت کرتے ہیں

They call upon instead of Him none but female [deities], and they [actually] call upon none but a rebellious Satan.

iny yad'oona min dooniheee illaaa inaasanw wa iny yad'oona illaa Shaitaanam mareedaa

لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّهُۘ وَقَالَ لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنۡ عِبَادِكَ نَصِیبࣰا مَّفۡرُوضࣰا

جس پر الله کی لعنت ہے اور شیطان نے کہا کہ اے الله میں تیرے بندوں میں سے حصہ مقرر لوں گا

Whom Allah has cursed. For he had said, "I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion.

La'anahul laah; wa qaala la attakhizanna min 'ibaadika naseebam mafroodaa

وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمۡ وَلَأُمَنِّیَنَّهُمۡ وَلَـَٔامُرَنَّهُمۡ فَلَیُبَتِّكُنَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ وَلَـَٔامُرَنَّهُمۡ فَلَیُغَیِّرُنَّ خَلۡقَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن یَتَّخِذِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ وَلِیࣰّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ خَسِرَ خُسۡرَانࣰا مُّبِینࣰا

اور البتہ انہیں ضرور گمراہ کروں گا اور البتہ ضرور انہیں امیدیں دلاؤں گا اور البتہ ضرور انہیں حکم کروں گا کہ جانوروں کے کان چریں اور البتہ ضرور انہیں حکم دوں گا کہ جانورں کے کان چیریں اور البتہ ضرور انہیں حکم دوں گاکہ الله کی بنائی ہوئی صورتیں بدلیں اور جو شخص الله کو چھوڑ کر شیطان کو دوست بنائے گا وہ صریح نقصان میں جا پڑا

And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss.

Wa la udillannahum wa la umanni yannnahum wa la aamurannahum fala yubat tikunna aazaanal lan'aami wa la aamurannahum fala yughai yirunna khalqal laah; wa mai yattakhizish Shaitaana waliyyam mmin doonil laahi faqad khasira khusraanam mubeena

یَعِدُهُمۡ وَیُمَنِّیهِمۡۖ وَمَا یَعِدُهُمُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا

شیطان ان سے وعدے کرتا ہےاور انہیں امیدیں دلاتا ہے اور شیطان ان سے صرف جھوٹے وعدے کرتا ہے

Satan promises them and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion.

Ya'iduhum wa yuman neehim wa maa ya'iduhumush Shaitaanu illaa ghurooraa

أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَا یَجِدُونَ عَنۡهَا مَحِیصࣰا

ایسے لوگو ں کا ٹھکانہ دورخ ہے ااور اس ے کہیں بچنے کے لیے جگہ نہ پائیں گے

The refuge of those will be Hell, and they will not find from it an escape.

Ulaaa'ika maawaahum Jahannamu wa laa yajidoona 'anhaa maheesaa

وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ سَنُدۡخِلُهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدࣰاۖ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣰّاۚ وَمَنۡ أَصۡدَقُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ قِیلࣰا

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے انہیں ہم باغوں میں داخل کر ینگے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے الله کا وعدہ سچا ہے اور الله سے زیادہ سچا کون ہے

But the ones who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. [It is] the promise of Allah, [which is] truth, and who is more truthful than Allah in statement.

Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati sanud khiluhum Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaaa abadaa; wa'dal laahi haqqaa; wa man asdaqu minal laahi qeelaa

لَّیۡسَ بِأَمَانِیِّكُمۡ وَلَاۤ أَمَانِیِّ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِۗ مَن یَعۡمَلۡ سُوۤءࣰا یُجۡزَ بِهِۦ وَلَا یَجِدۡ لَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِیࣰّا وَلَا نَصِیرࣰا

نہ تمہاری امیدوں پر مدار ہے اور نہ اہل کتاب کی امیدوں پر جو کوئی برائی کا کام کرے گا اس کی سزا دیا جائے گا اور الله کے سوا اپنا کوئی حمایتی اور مددگار نہیں پائے گا

Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper.

Laisa bi amaaniyyikum wa laaa amaaniyyi Ahlil Kitaab; mai ya'mal sooo'ai yujza bihee wa laa yajid lahoo min doonil laahi waliyanw wa laa naseeraa

وَمَن یَعۡمَلۡ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنࣱ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ یَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَلَا یُظۡلَمُونَ نَقِیرࣰا

اور جو کوئی اچھے کام کرے گا مرد ہے یا عورت درآنحالینکہ وہ ایما ندار ہو تو وہ لوگ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے اور کھجور کے شگاف برابر بھی ظلم نہیں کیے جائیں گے

And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.

Wa mai ya'mal minas saalihaati min zakarin aw unsaa wa huwa mu'minun fa ulaaa'ika yadkhuloonal Jannata wa laa yuzlamoona naqeeraa

وَمَنۡ أَحۡسَنُ دِینࣰا مِّمَّنۡ أَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنࣱ وَٱتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ حَنِیفࣰاۗ وَٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ خَلِیلࣰا

اس شخص سے بہتر دین میں کون ہے جس نے الله کے حکم پر پیشانی رکھی اور وہ نیکی کرنے والا ہو اور ابراھیم حنیف کے دین کی پیروی کرے اور الله نے ابراھیم کوخاص دوست بنا لیا ہے

And who is better in religion than one who submits himself to Allah while being a doer of good and follows the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth? And Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend.

Wa man ahsanu deenam mimmman aslama wajhahoo lillaahi wa huwa muhsinunw wattaba'a Millata Ibraaheema haneefaa; wattakhazal laahu Ibraaheema khaleelaa

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ مُّحِیطࣰا

اور الله ہی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے اور الله سب چیزو ں کا احاطہ کیے ہوئے ہے

And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah, of all things, encompassing.

Wa lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kaanal laahu bikulli shai'im muheetaa

وَیَسۡتَفۡتُونَكَ فِی ٱلنِّسَاۤءِۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ یُفۡتِیكُمۡ فِیهِنَّ وَمَا یُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ فِی یَتَـٰمَى ٱلنِّسَاۤءِ ٱلَّـٰتِی لَا تُؤۡتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرۡغَبُونَ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ وَٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِینَ مِنَ ٱلۡوِلۡدَ ٰ⁠نِ وَأَن تَقُومُوا۟ لِلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ وَمَا تَفۡعَلُوا۟ مِنۡ خَیۡرࣲ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِهِۦ عَلِیمࣰا

اور تجھ سے عورتو ں کے نکاح کی رخصت مانگتے ہیں کہہ دے الله تمہیں ان کی اجازت دیتا ہے اور وہ جو تمہیں قرآن سنایا جاتا ہے سو ان یتیم عورتوں کا حکم ہے جنہیں تم نہیں دیتے جو ان کے لیے مقرر کیا گیا ہے او رچاہتے ہو کہ ان سے نکاح کرو اور کمزور لڑکوں کے بارے میں ہے اور یہ کہ یتیموں کے حق میں انصاف پر قائم رہو اور جو تم نیکی کرو گے پس تحقیق الله اسے جاننے والا ہے

And they request from you, [O Muhammad], a [legal] ruling concerning women. Say, "Allah gives you a ruling about them and [about] what has been recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan girls to whom you do not give what is decreed for them - and [yet] you desire to marry them - and concerning the oppressed among children and that you maintain for orphans [their rights] in justice." And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is ever Knowing of it.

Wa yastaftoonaka finnisaaa'i qulil laahu yufteekum feehinna wa maa yutlaa 'alaikum fil Kitaabi fee yataaman nisaaa'il laatee laa tu'toonahunna mmaa kutiba lahunnna wa targhaboona an tankihoohunna wal mustad'a feena minal wildaani wa an taqoomoo lilyataamaa bilqist; wa maa taf'aloo min khairin fa innal laaha kaana bihee 'Aleemaa

وَإِنِ ٱمۡرَأَةٌ خَافَتۡ مِنۢ بَعۡلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوۡ إِعۡرَاضࣰا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَیۡهِمَاۤ أَن یُصۡلِحَا بَیۡنَهُمَا صُلۡحࣰاۚ وَٱلصُّلۡحُ خَیۡرࣱۗ وَأُحۡضِرَتِ ٱلۡأَنفُسُ ٱلشُّحَّۚ وَإِن تُحۡسِنُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرࣰا

اور اگر کوئی عورت اپنے خاوند کے لڑنے یا منہ پھیرنے سے ڈرے تو دونوں پر کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ آپس میں کسی طرح صلح کر لیں اور یہ صلح بہتر ہے اور دلوں میں حرص موجود ہے اور اگر تم نیکی کرو او رپرہیزگاری کرو تو الله کو تمہارے اعمال کی پوری خبر ہے

And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion, there is no sin upon them if they make terms of settlement between them - and settlement is best. And present in [human] souls is stinginess. But if you do good and fear Allah - then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

Wa inimra atun khaafat mim ba'lihaa nushoozan aw i'raadan falaa junaaha 'alaihi maaa ai yuslihaa bainahumaa sulhaa; wassulhu khair; wa uhdiratil anfusush shuhh; wa in tuhsinoo wa tattaqoo fa innal laaha kaana bimaa ta'maloona Khabeeraa

وَلَن تَسۡتَطِیعُوۤا۟ أَن تَعۡدِلُوا۟ بَیۡنَ ٱلنِّسَاۤءِ وَلَوۡ حَرَصۡتُمۡۖ فَلَا تَمِیلُوا۟ كُلَّ ٱلۡمَیۡلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَٱلۡمُعَلَّقَةِۚ وَإِن تُصۡلِحُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا

اور تم عورتوں کو ہرگز برابر نہیں رکھ سکو گے اگرچہ اس کی حرص کرو سوتم بالکل ہی ایک طرف نہ جھک جاؤ کہ دوسری عورت کو لٹکی ہوئی چھوڑ دو اور اگر اصلاح کرتے رہو اور پرہیزگاری کرتے رہو تو الله بحشنے والا مہربان ہے

And you will never be able to be equal [in feeling] between wives, even if you should strive [to do so]. So do not incline completely [toward one] and leave another hanging. And if you amend [your affairs] and fear Allah - then indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

Wa lan tastatee'ooo an ta'diloo bainan nisaaa'i wa law harastum falaa tameeloo kullal maili fatazaroohaa kalmu'al laqah; wa in tuslihoo wa tattaqoo fa innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheema

وَإِن یَتَفَرَّقَا یُغۡنِ ٱللَّهُ كُلࣰّا مِّن سَعَتِهِۦۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ وَ ٰ⁠سِعًا حَكِیمࣰا

اور اگر دونوں میاں بیوی جدا ہو جائیں تو الله اپنی و سعت سے ہر ایک کو بے پروا کردے گا اور الله وسعت کرنے والا حکمت والا ہے

But if they separate [by divorce], Allah will enrich each [of them] from His abundance. And ever is Allah Encompassing and Wise.

Wa iny-yatafarraqaa yughnil laahu kullam min sa'atih; wa kaanal laahu Waasi'an Hakeemaa

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَلَقَدۡ وَصَّیۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَإِیَّاكُمۡ أَنِ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۚ وَإِن تَكۡفُرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَنِیًّا حَمِیدࣰا

اور جو کچھ اسمانوں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے وہ الله ہی کا ہے اور ہم نے پہلی کتاب والوں کو اور تمہیں حکم دیا ہے کہ الله سے ڈرو اور اگر ناشکری کرو گے تو جو کچھ آسمانو ں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے سب الله ہی کا ہے اور الله بے پرواہ تعریف کیا ہواہے

And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear Allah. But if you disbelieve - then to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Free of need and Praiseworthy.

Wa lillaahi maafis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa laqad wassainal lazeena ootul Kitaaba min qablikum wa iyyaakum anit taqul laah; wa intakfuroo fa inna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kaanal laahu Ghaniyyan hameedaa

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِیلًا

اور جو کچھ آسمانو ں اور زمین میں سب الله ہی کا ہے اور الله کارسازکافی ہے

And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

Wa lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa

إِن یَشَأۡ یُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ أَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَیَأۡتِ بِـَٔاخَرِینَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ قَدِیرࣰا

اگر چاہے تو اے لوگو تمہیں لے جائے اوراوروں کو لے آئے اور الله اس پر قادر ہے

If He wills, He can do away with you, O people, and bring others [in your place]. And ever is Allah competent to do that.

Iny-yashaa yuzhibkum aiyuhan naasu wa yaati bi aakhareen; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa zaalika Qadeeraa

مَّن كَانَ یُرِیدُ ثَوَابَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا فَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ ثَوَابُ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ سَمِیعَۢا بَصِیرࣰا

جو شخص دنیا کا ثواب چاہتا ہے تو الله کے ہاں دنیا اور آخرت کا ثواب ہے اور الله سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے

Whoever desires the reward of this world - then with Allah is the reward of this world and the Hereafter. And ever is Allah Hearing and Seeing.

man kaana yureedu sawaabad dunyaa fa'indallaahi sawaabud dunyaa wal Aakhirah; wa kaanal laahu Samee'am Baseeraa

۞ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ قَوَّ ٰ⁠مِینَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ شُهَدَاۤءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوۡ عَلَىٰۤ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَوِ ٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠لِدَیۡنِ وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبِینَۚ إِن یَكُنۡ غَنِیًّا أَوۡ فَقِیرࣰا فَٱللَّهُ أَوۡلَىٰ بِهِمَاۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلۡهَوَىٰۤ أَن تَعۡدِلُوا۟ۚ وَإِن تَلۡوُۥۤا۟ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرࣰا

اے ایمان والو! انصاف پر قائم رہو الله کی طرف گواہی دو اگرچہ اپنی جانوں پر ہو یا اپنے ماں باپ اور رشہ داروں پر اگر کوئی مالدار ہے یا فقیر ہے تو الله ان کا تم سے زیادہ خیر خوا ہ ہے سو تم انصاف کرنے میں دل کی خواہش کی پیروی نہ کرو اور اگر تم کج بیانی کرو گے یا پہلو تہی کرو گے تو بلاشبہ الله تمہارے سب اعمال سے با خبر ہے

O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

Yaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo koonoo qawwa ameena bilqisti shuhadaaa'a lillaahi wa law 'alaa anfusikum awil waalidaini wal aqrabeen iny yakun ghaniyyan aw faqeeran fallaahu awlaa bihimaa falaaa tattabi'ul hawaaa an ta'diloo; wa in talwooo aw tu'ridoo fa innal laaha kaana bimaa ta'maloona Khabeera

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ ٱلَّذِی نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبۡلُۚ وَمَن یَكۡفُرۡ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلَـٰلَۢا بَعِیدًا

اے ایمان والو! الله اور اس کے رسول پر یقین لاؤ اور اس کتاب پر جو اس نے اپنے رسول پر نازل کی ہےاور اس کتاب پر جو پہلے نازل کی تھی اور جو کوئی الله کا انکار کرے اور اس کے فرشتوں کا اور اس کے رسولوں کا اور قیامت کے دن کا تو وہ شخص بڑی دور کی گمراہی میں جا پڑا

O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo aaminoo billaahi wa Rasoolihee wal Kitaabil lazee nazzala 'alaa Rasoolihee wal Kitaabil lazeee anzala min qabl; wa mai yakfur billaahi wa Malaaa'ikatihee wa Kutubihee wa Rusulihee wal Yawmil Aakhiri faqad dalla dalaalam ba'eedaa

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ ثُمَّ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ ثُمَّ ٱزۡدَادُوا۟ كُفۡرࣰا لَّمۡ یَكُنِ ٱللَّهُ لِیَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا لِیَهۡدِیَهُمۡ سَبِیلَۢا

بے شک وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے پھر کفر کیا پھر ایمان لائے پھر کفر کیا پھر کفر میں بڑھتے رہے تو الله ان کو ہرگز نہیں بخشے گا اور نہ انہیں راہ دکھائے گا

Indeed, those who have believed then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, and then increased in disbelief - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a way.

Innal lazeena aamanoo summa kafaroo summa aamanoo summa kafaroo summaz daado kufral lam yakunil laahu liyaghfira lahum wa laa liyahdiyahum sabeelaa

بَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِیمًا

منافقوں کو خوشخبری سنا دے کہ ان کے واسطے دردناک عذاب ہے

Give tidings to the hypocrites that there is for them a painful punishment -

Bashshiril munaafiqeena bi anna lahum 'azaaban aleemaa

ٱلَّذِینَ یَتَّخِذُونَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَۚ أَیَبۡتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِیعࣰا

وہ جو مسلمانوں کو چھوڑ کر کافروں کو اپنا دوست بناتے ہیں کیا ان کے ہاں سے عزت چاہتے ہیں سو ساری عزت الله ہی کے قبضہ میں ہے

Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor [through power]? But indeed, honor belongs to Allah entirely.

Allazeena yattakhizoo nal kaafireena awliyaaa'a min doonil mu'mineen; a-yabta ghoona 'indahumul 'izzata fainnnal 'izzata lillaahi jamee'aa

وَقَدۡ نَزَّلَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ أَنۡ إِذَا سَمِعۡتُمۡ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ یُكۡفَرُ بِهَا وَیُسۡتَهۡزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقۡعُدُوا۟ مَعَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ یَخُوضُوا۟ فِی حَدِیثٍ غَیۡرِهِۦۤ إِنَّكُمۡ إِذࣰا مِّثۡلُهُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ جَامِعُ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ وَٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ فِی جَهَنَّمَ جَمِیعًا

اور الله نے تم پر قرآن میں حکم اتارا ہے کہ جب تم الله کی آیتوں پر انکار اور مذاق ہوتا سنو تو ان کے ساتھ نہ بیٹھو یہاں تک کہ کسی بات میں مشغول ہوں ورنہ تم بھی ان جیسے ہو جاؤ گے اور الله منافقوں اور کافروں کو دوزخ میں ایک ہی جگہ اکھٹا کرنے والا ہے

And it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together -

Wa qad nazzala 'alaikum fil Kitaabi an izaa sami'tum Aayaatil laahi yukfaru bihaa wa yustahza u bihaa falaa taq'udoo ma'ahum hattaa yakhoodoo fee hadeesin ghairih; innakum izam misluhum; innal laaha jaami'ul munaafiqeena wal kaafireena fee jahannama jamee'aa

ٱلَّذِینَ یَتَرَبَّصُونَ بِكُمۡ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ فَتۡحࣱ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ قَالُوۤا۟ أَلَمۡ نَكُن مَّعَكُمۡ وَإِن كَانَ لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ نَصِیبࣱ قَالُوۤا۟ أَلَمۡ نَسۡتَحۡوِذۡ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَنَمۡنَعۡكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَۚ فَٱللَّهُ یَحۡكُمُ بَیۡنَكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۗ وَلَن یَجۡعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ سَبِیلًا

وہ منافق جو تمہارے متعلق انتظار کرتے ہیں پھر اگر تمہیں الله کی طرف سے فتح ہو تو کہتے ہیں کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھےاور اگر کافرو ں کو کچھ حصہ مل جائے تو کہتے ہیں کیا ہم تم پر غالب نہ آنے لگے تھے اور کیا ہم نے تمہیں مسلمانوں سے بچا نہیں لیا سو الله تمہارا اور ان کا قیامت میں فیصلہ کرے گا اور (وہاں) الله کافروں کو مسلمانوں کے مقابلہ میں ہرگز غالب نہیں کرے گا

Those who wait [and watch] you. Then if you gain a victory from Allah, they say, "Were we not with you?" But if the disbelievers have a success, they say [to them], "Did we not gain the advantage over you, but we protected you from the believers?" Allah will judge between [all of] you on the Day of Resurrection, and never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to overcome them].

Allazeena yatarab basoona bikum fa in kaana lakum fathum minal laahi qaalooo alam nakum ma'akum wa in kaana lilkaafireena naseebun qaalooo alam nastah wiz 'alaikum wa nammna'kum minal mu'mineen; fallaahu yahkumu bainakum Yawmal Qiyaamah; wa lai yaj'alal laahu lilkaafireena 'alal mu'mineena sabeelaa

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ یُخَـٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَـٰدِعُهُمۡ وَإِذَا قَامُوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ قَامُوا۟ كُسَالَىٰ یُرَاۤءُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَلَا یَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا

منافق الله کو فریب دیتے ہیں اور وہی ان کو فریب دے گا اور جب وہ نماز میں کھڑے ہوتے ہیں تو سست بن کر کھڑے ہوتے ہیں لوگو ں کو دکھا تے ہیں اور الله کو بہت کم یاد کرتے ہیں

Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little,

Innal munaafiqeena yukhaadi'oonal laaha wa huwa khaadi'uhum wa izaa qaamooo ilas Salaati qaamoo kusaalaa yuraaa'oonan naasa wa laa yazkuroonal laaha illaa qaleelaa

مُّذَبۡذَبِینَ بَیۡنَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَاۤ إِلَىٰ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ وَلَاۤ إِلَىٰ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِۚ وَمَن یُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِیلࣰا

کفر اور ایمان کے درمیان ڈانوں ڈول ہیں نہ پورے اس طرف ہیں اور نہ پورے اس طرف اور جسے الله گمراہ کر دے تو اس کے واسطے ہرگزکہیں راہ نہ پائے گا

Wavering between them, [belonging] neither to the believers nor to the disbelievers. And whoever Allah leaves astray - never will you find for him a way.

Muzabzabeena baina zaalika laaa ilaa haaa' ulaaa'i wa laaa ilaa haaa'ulaaa'; wa mai yudlilil laahu falan tajida lahoo sabeela

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَۚ أَتُرِیدُونَ أَن تَجۡعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ عَلَیۡكُمۡ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا مُّبِینًا

اے ایمان والو مسلمانوں کو چھوڑ کر کافروں کو اپنا دوست نہ بناؤ کیا تم اپنے اوپر الله کا صریح الزام لینا چاہتے ہو

O you who have believed, do not take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do you wish to give Allah against yourselves a clear case?

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tattakhizul kaafireena awliyaaa'a min doonil mu'mineen; aturee doona an taj'aloo lillaahi 'alaikum sultaanam mubeenaa

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ فِی ٱلدَّرۡكِ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمۡ نَصِیرًا

بے شک منافق دوزخ کے سب سےنیچے درجہ میں ہوں گے تو ان کے واسطے کوئی مددگار ہرگز نہ پائے گا

Indeed, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire - and never will you find for them a helper -

Innal munaafiqeena fiddarkil asfali minan Naari wa lan tajjida lahum naseeraa

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ تَابُوا۟ وَأَصۡلَحُوا۟ وَٱعۡتَصَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَأَخۡلَصُوا۟ دِینَهُمۡ لِلَّهِ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ مَعَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَۖ وَسَوۡفَ یُؤۡتِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمࣰا

مگر جنہوں نے توبہ کی اور اپنی اصلاح کی اور الله کو مضبوط پکڑا اور اپنے دین کو خالص الله ہی کے لیے کیاتو وہ لوگ ایمان والوں کے ساتھ ہیں اور الله جلدی ایمان والوں کو بہت بڑا ثواب دے گا

Except for those who repent, correct themselves, hold fast to Allah, and are sincere in their religion for Allah, for those will be with the believers. And Allah is going to give the believers a great reward.

Illal lazeena taaboo wa aslahoo wa'tasamoo billaahi wa akhlasoo deenahum lillaahi faulaaa'ika ma'al mu'mineena wa sawfa yu'til laahul mu'mineena ajran 'azeemaa

مَّا یَفۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمۡ إِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ وَءَامَنتُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِیمࣰا

) اے منافقو) الله تمہیں سزادے کر کیا کرے گا اگر تم شکر گزار بنو اور ایمان لے آؤ اور الله قدردان جاننے والا ہے

What would Allah do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allah Appreciative and Knowing.

maa yafa'lul laahu bi 'azaabikum in shakartum wa aamantum; wa kaanal laahu Shaakiran 'Aleema

۞ لَّا یُحِبُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ بِٱلسُّوۤءِ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ إِلَّا مَن ظُلِمَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ سَمِیعًا عَلِیمًا

الله کو کسی کی بڑی بات کا ظاہر کرنا پسند نہیں مگر جس پر ظلم ہواہو اور الله سننے والا جاننے والا ہے

Allah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged. And ever is Allah Hearing and Knowing.

Laa yuhibbullaahul jahra bis sooo'i minal qawli illaa man zulim; wa kaanallaahu Samee'an 'Aleeman

إِن تُبۡدُوا۟ خَیۡرًا أَوۡ تُخۡفُوهُ أَوۡ تَعۡفُوا۟ عَن سُوۤءࣲ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَفُوࣰّا قَدِیرًا

اور اگرتم نیک کام اعلانیہ کر ویا اسے خفیہ کرو یا کسی برائی کو معاف کردو تو الله بڑا معاف کرنے والا قدرت والا ہے

If [instead] you show [some] good or conceal it or pardon an offense - indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Competent.

in tubdoo khairann aw tukhfoohu aw ta'foo 'an sooo'in fa innal laaha kaana 'afuwwan Qadeeraa

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَكۡفُرُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَیُرِیدُونَ أَن یُفَرِّقُوا۟ بَیۡنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَیَقُولُونَ نُؤۡمِنُ بِبَعۡضࣲ وَنَكۡفُرُ بِبَعۡضࣲ وَیُرِیدُونَ أَن یَتَّخِذُوا۟ بَیۡنَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ سَبِیلًا

بے شک جو لوگ الله اور اس کے رسولوں کے ساتھ کفر کرتے ہیں اور چاہتے ہیں کہ الله اوراس کے رسولوں کے درمیان فرق رکھیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہم بعضوں پر ایمان لائے ہیں اور بعضوں کے منکر ہیں اور چاہتے ہیں کہ کفر اور ایمان کے درمیان ایک راہ نکالیں

Indeed, those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers and wish to discriminate between Allah and His messengers and say, "We believe in some and disbelieve in others," and wish to adopt a way in between -

Innal lazeena yakkfuroona billaahi wa Rusulihee wa yureedoona ai yufarriqoo bainal laahi wa Rusulihee wa yaqooloona nu'minu biba'dinw wa nakfuru biba' dinw wa yureedoona ai yattakhizoo baina zaalika sabeelaa

أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ حَقࣰّاۚ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ عَذَابࣰا مُّهِینࣰا

ایسے لوگ یقیناً کافر ہیں اور ہم نے کافرو ں کے واسطے ذلت کا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

Those are the disbelievers, truly. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment.

Ulaaa'ika humul kaafiroona haqqaa; wa a'tadnaa lilkaafireena 'azaabam muheenaa

وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَلَمۡ یُفَرِّقُوا۟ بَیۡنَ أَحَدࣲ مِّنۡهُمۡ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ سَوۡفَ یُؤۡتِیهِمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا

اور جو لوگ الله پر ایمان لائے اور رسولوں پر ان میں سے کسی کو جدا نہ کیاان لوگوں کو الله جلدان کے ثواب دے گا اور الله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

But they who believe in Allah and His messengers and do not discriminate between any of them - to those He is going to give their rewards. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

Wallazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rusulihee wa lam yufarriqoo baina ahadim minhum ulaaa'ika sawfa yu'teehim ujoorahum; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema

یَسۡـَٔلُكَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ أَن تُنَزِّلَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ كِتَـٰبࣰا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِۚ فَقَدۡ سَأَلُوا۟ مُوسَىٰۤ أَكۡبَرَ مِن ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ فَقَالُوۤا۟ أَرِنَا ٱللَّهَ جَهۡرَةࣰ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ بِظُلۡمِهِمۡۚ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ ٱلۡعِجۡلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَاۤءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتُ فَعَفَوۡنَا عَن ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَۚ وَءَاتَیۡنَا مُوسَىٰ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا مُّبِینࣰا

اہلِ کتاب تجھ سےدرخواست کرتے ہیں کہ تو ان پر آسمان سے لکھی ہوئی کتب اتار لائے سو موسیٰ سے اس سے بڑی چیز مانگ چکے ہیں اور کہا ہمیں الله کو بالکل سامنے لا کر دکھا دے ان کے اس ظلم کے باعث ان پر بجلی ٹوٹ پڑی پھر بہت سی نشانیاں پہنچ چکنے کے بعد بچھڑے کو بنا لیا پھر ہم نے وہ بھی معاف کر دیا اور ہم نے موسیٰ کو بڑا رعب دیاتھا

The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses [even] greater than that and said, "Show us Allah outright," so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [for worship] after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.

yas'aluka Ahlul Kitaabi an tunazzila 'alaihim Kitaabam minas samaaa'i faqad sa aloo Moosaa akbara min zaalika faqaaloo arinal laaha jahratan fa akhazat humus saa'iqatu bizulmihim; summat takhazul 'ijla mim ba'di maa jaa'at humul baiyinaatu fa'afawnaa 'ann zaalik; wa aatainaa Moosaa sultaanam mubeenaa

وَرَفَعۡنَا فَوۡقَهُمُ ٱلطُّورَ بِمِیثَـٰقِهِمۡ وَقُلۡنَا لَهُمُ ٱدۡخُلُوا۟ ٱلۡبَابَ سُجَّدࣰا وَقُلۡنَا لَهُمۡ لَا تَعۡدُوا۟ فِی ٱلسَّبۡتِ وَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُم مِّیثَـٰقًا غَلِیظࣰا

اور لوگوں پر طور اٹھا کر ان سے عہد لیا اور ہم نے کہا کہ دروازہ میں سجدہ کرتے ہوئےداخل ہو اور ہم نے کہا کہ ہفتے کے بارے میں زیادتی نہ کرو اور ہم نے ان سے پختہ عہد لیا

And We raised over them the mount for [refusal of] their covenant; and We said to them, "Enter the gate bowing humbly", and We said to them, "Do not transgress on the sabbath", and We took from them a solemn covenant.

Wa rafa'naa fawqahumut Toora bimeesaaqihim wa qulnaa lahumud khulul baaba sujjadanw wa qulnaa lahum laa ta'doo fis Sabti wa akhaznaa minhum meesaaqan ghaleezaa

فَبِمَا نَقۡضِهِم مِّیثَـٰقَهُمۡ وَكُفۡرِهِم بِـَٔایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡأَنۢبِیَاۤءَ بِغَیۡرِ حَقࣲّ وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ قُلُوبُنَا غُلۡفُۢۚ بَلۡ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهَا بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ فَلَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا

پھر ان کی عہد شکنی پر اور الله کی آیتوں سے منکر ہونے پر اور پیغمبروں کا ناحق خون کرنے پر اور اس کہنے پرکہ ہمارے دلوں پرپر دے رہے ہیں انہیں سزا ملی پردے نہیں بلکہ الله نے ان کے دلوں پر کفر کے سبب سے مہر کر دی ہے سو ایمان نہیں لاتے مگر تھوڑے

And [We cursed them] for their breaking of the covenant and their disbelief in the signs of Allah and their killing of the prophets without right and their saying, "Our hearts are wrapped". Rather, Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.

Fabimaa naqdihim meesaaqahum wa kufrihim bi Aayaatil laahi wa qatlihimul Ambiyaaa'a bighairi haqqinw wa qawlihim quloobunna ghulf; bal taba'al laahu 'alaihaa bikufrihim falaa yu'minoona illaa qaleelaa

وَبِكُفۡرِهِمۡ وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ عَلَىٰ مَرۡیَمَ بُهۡتَـٰنًا عَظِیمࣰا

اور ان کے کفر او رمریم پر بڑا بہتان باندھنے کے سبب سے

And [We cursed them] for their disbelief and their saying against Mary a great slander,

Wa bikufrihim wa qawlihim 'alaa Maryama buh taanan 'azeema

وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ إِنَّا قَتَلۡنَا ٱلۡمَسِیحَ عِیسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَـٰكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱخۡتَلَفُوا۟ فِیهِ لَفِی شَكࣲّ مِّنۡهُۚ مَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ إِلَّا ٱتِّبَاعَ ٱلظَّنِّۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ یَقِینَۢا

اور ان کے اس کہنے پر کہ ہم نے مسیح عیسیٰ مریم کے بیٹے کو قتل کیا جو الله کا رسول تھا حالانکہ انہوں نے نہ اسے قتل کیا اور نہ سولی پر چڑھایا لیکن ان کو اشتباہ ہو گیا اورجن لوگوں نے اس کے بارے میں اختلاف کیا ہے وہ بھی دراصل شک میں مبتلا ہیں ان کے پا س بھی اس معاملہ میں کوئی یقین نہیں ہے محض گمان ہی کی پیروی ہے انہوں نے یقیناً مسیح کو قتل نہیں کیا

And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

Wa qawlihim innaa qatal nal maseeha 'Eesab-na-Maryama Rasoolal laahi wa maa qataloohu wa maa salaboohu wa laakin shubbiha lahum; wa innal lazeenakh talafoo fee lafee shakkim minh; maa lahum bihee min 'ilmin illat tibaa'az zann; wa maa qataloohu yaqeenaa

بَل رَّفَعَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَیۡهِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِیزًا حَكِیمࣰا

بلکہ اسے الله نے اپنی طرف اٹھا لیا اور الله زبردست حکمت والا ہے

Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

Bar rafa'ahul laahu ilayh; wa kaanal laahu 'Azeezan Hakeemaa

وَإِن مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ إِلَّا لَیُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِهِۦ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِهِۦۖ وَیَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ یَكُونُ عَلَیۡهِمۡ شَهِیدࣰا

اور اہلِ کتاب میں کوئی ایسانہ ہوگا جواسکی موت سے پہلے اس پر ایمان نہ لائے گا اور قیامت کے دن وہ ان پر گواہ ہو گا

And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness.

Wa im min Ahlil Kitaabi illaa layu'minanna bihee qabla mawtihee wa Yawmal Qiyaamati yakoonu 'alaihim shaheedaa

فَبِظُلۡمࣲ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِینَ هَادُوا۟ حَرَّمۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ طَیِّبَـٰتٍ أُحِلَّتۡ لَهُمۡ وَبِصَدِّهِمۡ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ كَثِیرࣰا

سویہود کے گناہوں کے سبب سے ہم نے ان پر بہت سی پاک چیزیں حرام کر دیں جو ان پر حلا ل تھیں اور اس سبب سے الله کی راہ سے بہت روکتے تھے

For wrongdoing on the part of the Jews, We made unlawful for them [certain] good foods which had been lawful to them, and for their averting from the way of Allah many [people],

Fabizulmin minal lazeena haadoo harramnaa 'alaihim taiyibaatin uhillat lahum wa bisadihim 'an sabeelil laahi kaseeraa

وَأَخۡذِهِمُ ٱلرِّبَوٰا۟ وَقَدۡ نُهُوا۟ عَنۡهُ وَأَكۡلِهِمۡ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِۚ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ مِنۡهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِیمࣰا

اور ان کو سود لینے کے سبب سے حالانکہ اس سے منع کیے گئے تھے اور اس سبب سے کہ لوگو ں کا مال ناحق کھاتے تھے اور ان میں سے جو کافر ہیں ہم نے ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

And [for] their taking of usury while they had been forbidden from it, and their consuming of the people's wealth unjustly. And we have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.

Wa akhzihimur ribaa wa qad nuhoo 'anhu wa aklihim amwaalan naasi bilbaatil; wa a'tadnaa lilkaafireena minhum 'azaaban aleema

لَّـٰكِنِ ٱلرَّ ٰ⁠سِخُونَ فِی ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مِنۡهُمۡ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِمَاۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡكَ وَمَاۤ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلِكَۚ وَٱلۡمُقِیمِینَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ سَنُؤۡتِیهِمۡ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمًا

لیکن ان میں سے جو علم میں پختہ ہیں اور مسلمان ہیں سومانتے ہیں اس کو جو تجھ پر نازل ہوا اور جو تجھ سے پہلے نازل ہو چکا ہے اور نماز قائم کرنے والے اور زکواة دینے والے اور اللهاور قیامت پر ایمان لانے والے ہیں یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہیں ہم بڑا ثواب عطا فرمائیں گے

But those firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you. And the establishers of prayer [especially] and the givers of zakah and the believers in Allah and the Last Day - those We will give a great reward.

Laakinir raasikhoona fil'ilmi minhum walmu'minoona yu'minoona bimaaa unzila ilaika wa maaa unzila min qablika walmuqeemeenas Salaata walmu'toonaz Zakaata walmu 'minoona billaahi wal yawmil Aakhir; ulaaa'ika sanu'teehim ajran 'azeemaa

۞ إِنَّاۤ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ كَمَاۤ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰ نُوحࣲ وَٱلنَّبِیِّـۧنَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۚ وَأَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰۤ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ وَإِسۡمَـٰعِیلَ وَإِسۡحَـٰقَ وَیَعۡقُوبَ وَٱلۡأَسۡبَاطِ وَعِیسَىٰ وَأَیُّوبَ وَیُونُسَ وَهَـٰرُونَ وَسُلَیۡمَـٰنَۚ وَءَاتَیۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ زَبُورࣰا

ہم نے تیری طرف وحی بھیجی جیسی نوح پر وحی بھیجی اور ان نبیوں پر جو اس کے بعد آئے اور ابراھیمؑ اور اسماعیلؑ اور اسحاقؑ اور یعقوبؑ اور اس کی اولاد اور عیسیٰؑ اور ایوبؑ اوریونسؑ اور ھارونؑ اور سلیمانؑ پر وحی بھیجی اور ہم نے داؤدؑ کو زبور دی

Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

innaaa awhainaaa ilaika kamaaa awhainaaa ilaa Noohinw wan nabiyyeena mim ba'dih; wa awhainaaa ilaaa ibraaheema wa Ismaaa'eela wa Ishaaqa wa Ya'qooba wal Asbaati wa 'Eesaa wa Ayyooba wa Yoonusa wa haaroona wa Sulaimaan; wa aatainaa Daawooda Zabooraa

وَرُسُلࣰا قَدۡ قَصَصۡنَـٰهُمۡ عَلَیۡكَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَرُسُلࣰا لَّمۡ نَقۡصُصۡهُمۡ عَلَیۡكَۚ وَكَلَّمَ ٱللَّهُ مُوسَىٰ تَكۡلِیمࣰا

اور ایسے رسول بھیجے جن کا حال اس سے پہلےہم تمہیں سنا چکیں ہیں اور ایسے رسول جن کا ہم نے تم سے بیان نہیں کیا اور الله نے موسیٰ سے خاص طور پر کلام فرمایا

And [We sent] messengers about whom We have related [their stories] to you before and messengers about whom We have not related to you. And Allah spoke to Moses with [direct] speech.

Wa Rusulan qad qasas naahum 'alaika min qablu wa Rusulal lam naqsushum 'alaik; wa kallamallaahu Moosaa takleemaa

رُّسُلࣰا مُّبَشِّرِینَ وَمُنذِرِینَ لِئَلَّا یَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ حُجَّةُۢ بَعۡدَ ٱلرُّسُلِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِیزًا حَكِیمࣰا

ہم نے پیغمبر بھیجے خوشخبری دینے والے اور ڈرانے والے تاکہ ان لوگوں کا الله پر پیغمبرو ں کے بعد الزا م نہ رہے اور الله غالب حکمت والا ہے

[We sent] messengers as bringers of good tidings and warners so that mankind will have no argument against Allah after the messengers. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

Rusulam mubashshireena wa munzireena li'allaa yakoona linnaasi 'alal laahi hujjatum ba'dar Rusul; wa kaanallaahu 'Azeezan Hakeema

لَّـٰكِنِ ٱللَّهُ یَشۡهَدُ بِمَاۤ أَنزَلَ إِلَیۡكَۖ أَنزَلَهُۥ بِعِلۡمِهِۦۖ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ یَشۡهَدُونَۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِیدًا

لیکن الله اس پر شاہد ہے جو تم پر نازل کیا کہ اسے اپنے علم سے نازل کیا اور فرشتے بھی گواہ ہیں اورالله گواہی دینے والا کافی ہے

But Allah bears witness to that which He has revealed to you. He has sent it down with His knowledge, and the angels bear witness [as well]. And sufficient is Allah as Witness.

Laakinil laahu yashhadu bimaaa anzala ilaika anzalahoo bi'ilmihee wal malaaa'ikatu yashhadoon; wa kafaa billaahi Shaheeda

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ قَدۡ ضَلُّوا۟ ضَلَـٰلَۢا بَعِیدًا

بے شک جو لوگ کافر ہوئے اور الله کی راہ سے روکا وہ بڑی دور کی گمراہی میں جا پڑے

Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah have certainly gone far astray.

Innal lazeena kafaroo wa saddoo 'an sabeelil laahi qad dalloo dalaalam ba'eedaa

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَظَلَمُوا۟ لَمۡ یَكُنِ ٱللَّهُ لِیَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا لِیَهۡدِیَهُمۡ طَرِیقًا

بے شک جو لوگ کافر ہوئے اور ظلم کیا الله انہیں کبھی نہیں بخشے گا اور نہ ان کو سیدھی راہ دکھائے گا

Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path.

Innal lazeenakafaroo wa zalamoo lam yakkunillaahu liyaghfira lahum wa laa liyahdiyahum tareeqaa

إِلَّا طَرِیقَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدࣰاۚ وَكَانَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ یَسِیرࣰا

مگر دوزخ کی راہ جس میں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور الله پر یہ آسان ہے

Except the path of Hell; they will abide therein forever. And that, for Allah, is [always] easy.

Illaa tareeqa jahannamma khaalideena feehaa abadaa; wa kaana zaalika 'alal laahi yaseeraa

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدۡ جَاۤءَكُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡ فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ خَیۡرࣰا لَّكُمۡۚ وَإِن تَكۡفُرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمࣰا

اے لوگو! تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے ٹھیک بات لے کر رسول آ چکا سو مان لو تاکہ تمہارا بھلا ہو اور اگر انکار کرو گے تو الله ہی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے اور الله سب کچھ جاننے والا حکمت والا ہے

O Mankind, the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve - then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise.

Yaaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa'akumur Rasoolu bilhaqqi mir Rabbikum fa ammminoo khairal lakum; wa in takfuroo fainnna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wal ard; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleemann hakeemaa

یَـٰۤأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُوا۟ فِی دِینِكُمۡ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَقَّۚ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمَسِیحُ عِیسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُۥۤ أَلۡقَىٰهَاۤ إِلَىٰ مَرۡیَمَ وَرُوحࣱ مِّنۡهُۖ فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦۖ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ ثَلَـٰثَةٌۚ ٱنتَهُوا۟ خَیۡرࣰا لَّكُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا ٱللَّهُ إِلَـٰهࣱ وَ ٰ⁠حِدࣱۖ سُبۡحَـٰنَهُۥۤ أَن یَكُونَ لَهُۥ وَلَدࣱۘ لَّهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِیلࣰا

اے اہِل کتاب تم اپنے دین میں حد سے نہ نکلو اور الله کی شان میں سوائے پکی بات کے نہ کہو بے شک مسیح عیسیٰ مریم کا بیٹا الله کا رسول ہے اور الله کا ایک کلمہ ہےجسے الله نے مریم تک پہنچایا اور الله کی طرف سے ایک جان ہے سو الله پر اور اس کے سب رسولوں پر ایمان لاؤ اور نہ کہو کہ خدا تین ہیں اس بات کو چھوڑ دو تمہارے لیے بہتر ہو گا بے شک الله اکیلا معبود ہے وہ اس سے پاک ہے اس کی اولاد ہو اسی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے اور الله کارساز کافی ہے

O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

Yaaa Ahlal Kitaabi laa taghloo fee deenikum wa laa taqooloo 'alal laahi illalhaqq; innamal Maseehu 'Eesab-nu-Maryamma Rasoolul laahi wa Kalimatuhooo alqaahaaa ilaa Maryamma wa roohum minhum fa aaminoo billaahi wa Rusulihee wa laa taqooloo salaasah; intahoo khairallakum; innamal laahu Ilaahunw Waahid, Subhaanahooo ani yakoona lahoo walad; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa

لَّن یَسۡتَنكِفَ ٱلۡمَسِیحُ أَن یَكُونَ عَبۡدࣰا لِّلَّهِ وَلَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَۚ وَمَن یَسۡتَنكِفۡ عَنۡ عِبَادَتِهِۦ وَیَسۡتَكۡبِرۡ فَسَیَحۡشُرُهُمۡ إِلَیۡهِ جَمِیعࣰا

مسیح خدا کا بندہ بننے سے ہرگز عار نہیں کرے گا اور نہ مقرب فرشتے اور جو کوئی اس کی بندگی سے انکار کرے گا اور تکبر کرے گا پھران سب کو اپنی طرف اکھٹاکرے گا

Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together.

Lanny yastankifal Maseehu ai yakoona 'abdal lillaahi wa lal malaaa'ikatul muqarraboon; wa mai yastankif 'an ibaadatihee wa yastakbir fasa yahshuruhum ilaihi jamee'aa

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَیُوَفِّیهِمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَیَزِیدُهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ٱسۡتَنكَفُوا۟ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ فَیُعَذِّبُهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِیمࣰا وَلَا یَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِیࣰّا وَلَا نَصِیرࣰا

پھر جو لوگ ایمان لائے ہوں گے اور اچھے کام کیے ہوں گے انہیں تو ان کا پورا ثواب دے گا اور انہیں اپنے فضل سے زیادہ دے گا اور جن لوگوں نے انکار کیا اورتکبر کیا انہیں درد دینے والا عذاب دے گا اور وہ الله کے سوا اپنے واسطے کوئی دوست اور مددگار نہیں پائیں گے

And as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards and grant them extra from His bounty. But as for those who disdained and were arrogant, He will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or helper.

Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati fa yuwaffeehim ujoorahum wa yazeeduhum min fadlihee wa ammal lazeenas tankafoo wastakbaroo fa yu'azzibuhum 'azaaban aleemanw wa laa yajidoona lahum min doonil laahi waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدۡ جَاۤءَكُم بُرۡهَـٰنࣱ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَأَنزَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكُمۡ نُورࣰا مُّبِینࣰا

اے لوگو! تمہارے پاس تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے ایک دلیل آ چکی ہے اور ہم نےتمہاری طرف ایک ظاہر روشنی اتاری ہے

O mankind, there has come to you a conclusive proof from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light.

yaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa'akum burhaanum mir Rabbikum wa anzalnaaa ilaikum Nooram Mubeena

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱعۡتَصَمُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَسَیُدۡخِلُهُمۡ فِی رَحۡمَةࣲ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلࣲ وَیَهۡدِیهِمۡ إِلَیۡهِ صِرَ ٰ⁠طࣰا مُّسۡتَقِیمࣰا

سو جو لوگ الله پر ایمان لائے اور انھوں نے الله کومظبوط پکڑا انہیں الله اپنی رحمت اور اپنے فضل میں داخل کرے گا اور اپنے تک ان کو سیدھا راستہ دکھائے گا

So those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him - He will admit them to mercy from Himself and bounty and guide them to Himself on a straight path.

Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo billaahi wa'tasamoo bihee fasa yudkhiluhum fee rah matim minhu wa fadlinw wa yahdeehim ilaihi Siraatam Mustaqeema

یَسۡتَفۡتُونَكَ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ یُفۡتِیكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡكَلَـٰلَةِۚ إِنِ ٱمۡرُؤٌا۟ هَلَكَ لَیۡسَ لَهُۥ وَلَدࣱ وَلَهُۥۤ أُخۡتࣱ فَلَهَا نِصۡفُ مَا تَرَكَۚ وَهُوَ یَرِثُهَاۤ إِن لَّمۡ یَكُن لَّهَا وَلَدࣱۚ فَإِن كَانَتَا ٱثۡنَتَیۡنِ فَلَهُمَا ٱلثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَۚ وَإِن كَانُوۤا۟ إِخۡوَةࣰ رِّجَالࣰا وَنِسَاۤءࣰ فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثۡلُ حَظِّ ٱلۡأُنثَیَیۡنِۗ یُبَیِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ أَن تَضِلُّوا۟ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمُۢ

تجھ سے حکم دریافت کرتے ہیں کہہ دو الله تمہیں کلالہ کے بارے میں حکم دیتا ہے اگر کوئی شخص مر جائے جس کی اولاد نہ ہو اور اس کی ایک بہن ہو تو اسے اس کے تمام ترکہ کانصف ملے گا اور وہ شخص اس بہن کا وارث ہو گا اگر اس کی کوئی اولاد نہ ہو اور اگر دو بہنیں ہوں تو انہیں کل ترکہ میں سے دو تہائی ملے گا اور اگر چند وارث بھائی بہن ہوں مرد اور عورت تو ایک مرد کو دو عورتوں کے حصہ کے برابر ملے گا الله تم سے اس لیے بیان کرتا ہے کہ تم گمراہ نہ ہو جاؤ اور الله ہر چیز کو جاننے والا ہے

They request from you a [legal] ruling. Say, "Allah gives you a ruling concerning one having neither descendants nor ascendants [as heirs]." If a man dies, leaving no child but [only] a sister, she will have half of what he left. And he inherits from her if she [dies and] has no child. But if there are two sisters [or more], they will have two-thirds of what he left. If there are both brothers and sisters, the male will have the share of two females. Allah makes clear to you [His law], lest you go astray. And Allah is Knowing of all things.

Yastaftoonaka qulillaahu yafteekum fil kalaalah; inimru'un halaka laisa lahoo waladunw wa lahoo ukhtun falahaa nisfu maa tarak; wa huwa yarisuhaaa il lam yakkul lahaa walad; fa in kaanatas nataini falahumas sulusaani mimmmaa tarak; wa in kaanooo ikhwatar rijaalanw wa nisaaa'an faliz zakari mislu hazzil unsayayn; yubaiyinullaahu lakum an tadilloo; wallaahu bikulli shai'in Aleem
