Surah Fatir with Urdu & English Translation and Audio - سورۃ فاطر

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَاعِلِ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةِ رُسُلًا أُو۟لِیۤ أَجۡنِحَةࣲ مَّثۡنَىٰ وَثُلَـٰثَ وَرُبَـٰعَۚ یَزِیدُ فِی ٱلۡخَلۡقِ مَا یَشَاۤءُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ

سب تعریف الله کے لیے ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین کا بنانے والا ہے فرشتوں کو رسول بنانے والا ہے جن کے دو دو تین تین چار چار پر ہیں وہ پیدائش میں جو چاہے زیادہ کر دیتا ہے بے شک الله ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

Alhamdu lillaahi faatiris samaawaati wal ardi jaa'ilil malaaa'ikati rusulan uleee ajnihatim masnaa wa sulaasa wa rubaa'; yazeedu fil khalqi maa yashaaa'; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer

مَّا یَفۡتَحِ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحۡمَةࣲ فَلَا مُمۡسِكَ لَهَاۖ وَمَا یُمۡسِكۡ فَلَا مُرۡسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ

الله بندوں کے لیے جو رحمت کھولتا ہے اسے کوئی بند نہیں کر سکتا اور جسے وہ بند کر دے تو اس کے بعد کوئی کھولنے والا نہیں اور وہ زبردست حکمت والا ہے

Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Maa yaftahil laahu linnaaasi mir rahmatin falaa mumsika lahaa wa maa yumsik falaa mursila lahoo mimb'dih; wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذۡكُرُوا۟ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكُمۡۚ هَلۡ مِنۡ خَـٰلِقٍ غَیۡرُ ٱللَّهِ یَرۡزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ

اے لوگو الله کے اس احسان کو یاد کرو جو تم پر ہے بھلا الله کے سوا کوئی اور بھی خالق ہے جو تمہیں آسمان اور زمین سے روزی دیتا ہو اس کے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں پھر کہاں الٹے جا رہے ہو

O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?

Yaaa ayyuhan naasuzkuroo ni'matal laahi 'alaikum; hal min khaaliqin ghairul laahi yarzuqukum minas samaaa'i wal ard; laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa fa annaa tu'fakoon

وَإِن یُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلࣱ مِّن قَبۡلِكَۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ

اور اگر وہ آپ کو جھٹلائیں تو آپ سے پہلے بھی کئی رسول جھٹلائے گئے اور الله ہی کی طرف سب کام لوٹائے جاتے ہیں

And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - already were messengers denied before you. And to Allah are returned [all] matters.

Wa iny yukazzibooka faqad kuzzibat Rusulum min qablik; wa ilal laahi turja'ul umoor

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَلَا یَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ

اے لوگو بے شک الله کا وعدہ سچا ہے پھر تمہیں دنیا کی زندگی دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے اور تمہیں الله کے بارے میں دھوکہ باز دھوکا نہ دے

O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.

Yaaa ayyuhan naasu inna wa'dal laahi haqqun falaa taghurrannakumul hayaatud dunyaa; wa laa yaghurran nakum billaahil gharoor

إِنَّ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣱّ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّاۚ إِنَّمَا یَدۡعُوا۟ حِزۡبَهُۥ لِیَكُونُوا۟ مِنۡ أَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِیرِ

بے شک شیطان تو تمہارا دشمن ہے سو تم بھی اسے دشمن سمجھو وہ تو اپنی جماعت کو بلاتا ہے تاکہ وہ دوزخیوں میں سے ہو جائیں

Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.

Innash shaitaana lakum 'aduwwun fattakhizoohu 'aduwwaa; innamaa yad'oo hizbahoo liyakoonoo min ashaabis sa'eer

ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ شَدِیدࣱۖ وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةࣱ وَأَجۡرࣱ كَبِیرٌ

جن لوگوں نے انکار کیا ان کے لیے سخت عذاب ہے اور جو ایمان لائے اورنیک عمل کیے انہیں کے لیے بخشش اور بڑا اجر ہے

Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward.

Allazeena kafaroo lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lahum maghfiratunw wa ajrun kabeer

أَفَمَن زُیِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوۤءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنࣰاۖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُضِلُّ مَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُۖ فَلَا تَذۡهَبۡ نَفۡسُكَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ حَسَرَ ٰ⁠تٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِیمُۢ بِمَا یَصۡنَعُونَ

بھلا جس کے برے کام بھلے کر دکھائے ہوں پھر وہ ان کو اچھا بھی جانتا ہو (نیک کے برابر ہو سکتا ہے) پھرالله جس کو چاہتا ہے گمراہ کر تا ہے اور جسے چاہتاہے ہدایت کرتا ہے پھر آپ ان پر افسوس کھا کھا کر ہلاک نہ ہوجائیں کیوں کہ الله خوب جانتا ہے جو وہ کر رہے ہیں

Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.

Afaman zuyyina lahoo sooo'u 'amalihee fara aahu hasanaa; fa innal laaha yudillu mai yashaaa'u wa yahdee mai yahaaa'u falaa tazhab nafsuka 'alaihim hasaraat; innal laaha 'aleemun bimaa yasna'oon

وَٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَرۡسَلَ ٱلرِّیَـٰحَ فَتُثِیرُ سَحَابࣰا فَسُقۡنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدࣲ مَّیِّتࣲ فَأَحۡیَیۡنَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلنُّشُورُ

اور الله ہی وہ ہے جوہوائیں چلاتا ہے پھروہ بادل اٹھاتی ہیں پھر ہم اسے مرے ہوئے شہروں کی طرف چلاتے ہیں پھر ہم اس سے زمین کو مرنے کے بعد زندہ کرتے ہیں اسی طرح دوبارہ اٹھایا جانا ہے

And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection.

Wallaahul lazeee arsalar riyaaha fatuseeru shaaban fasuqnaahu ilaa baladim maiyitin fa ahyaynaa bihil arda ba'da mawtihaa; kazaalikan nushoor

مَن كَانَ یُرِیدُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ جَمِیعًاۚ إِلَیۡهِ یَصۡعَدُ ٱلۡكَلِمُ ٱلطَّیِّبُ وَٱلۡعَمَلُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُ یَرۡفَعُهُۥۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ یَمۡكُرُونَ ٱلسَّیِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ شَدِیدࣱۖ وَمَكۡرُ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُوَ یَبُورُ

جو شخص عزت چاہتا ہو سو الله ہی کے لیے سب عزت ہے اسی کی طرف سب پاکیزہ باتیں چڑھتی ہیں اور نیک عمل اس کو بلند کرتا ہے اور جو لوگ بری تدبیریں کرتے ہیں انہی کے لیے سخت عذاب ہے اوران کی بری تدبیر ہی برباد ہو گی

Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish.

Man kaana yureedul 'izzata falillaahil 'izzatu jamee'aa; ilaihi yas'adul kalimut taiyibu wal'amalus saalihu yarfa'uh; wallazeena yamkuroonas sayyiaati lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wa makru ulaaa'ika huwa yaboor

وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابࣲ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطۡفَةࣲ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمۡ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جࣰاۚ وَمَا تَحۡمِلُ مِنۡ أُنثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلۡمِهِۦۚ وَمَا یُعَمَّرُ مِن مُّعَمَّرࣲ وَلَا یُنقَصُ مِنۡ عُمُرِهِۦۤ إِلَّا فِی كِتَـٰبٍۚ إِنَّ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ یَسِیرࣱ

اور الله ہی نے تمہیں مٹی سے پیدا کیا پھر نطفہ سے پھر تمہیں جوڑے بنایا اور کوئی مادہ حاملہ نہیں ہو تی اور نہ وہ جنتی ہے مگر اس کے علم سے اور نہ کوئی بڑی عمر والا عمر دیا جاتا ہے اور نہ اس کی عمر کم کی جاتی ہے مگر وہ کتاب میں درج ہے بے شک یہ بات الله پر آسان ہے

And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allah is easy.

Wallaahu khalaqakum min turaabin summa min nutfatin summa ja'alakum azwaajaa; wa maa tahmilu min unsaa wa laa tada'u illaa bi'ilmih; wa maa yu'ammaru mim mu'ammarinw wa laa yunqasu min 'umuriheee illaa fee kitaab; inna zaalika 'alal laahi yaseer

وَمَا یَسۡتَوِی ٱلۡبَحۡرَانِ هَـٰذَا عَذۡبࣱ فُرَاتࣱ سَاۤىِٕغࣱ شَرَابُهُۥ وَهَـٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجࣱۖ وَمِن كُلࣲّ تَأۡكُلُونَ لَحۡمࣰا طَرِیࣰّا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَ حِلۡیَةࣰ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ فِیهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبۡتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

اور دو سمندر برا بر نہیں ہوتے یہ ایک میٹھا پیاس بجھانے والا ہے کہ ا سکا پینا خوشگوار ہے اور یہ دوسرا کھاری کڑوا ہے اور ہر ایک میں سے تم تازہ گوشت کھاتے ہو اور زیور نکالتے ہو جو تم پہنتے ہو اور تو جہازوں کو دیکھتا ہے کہ اس میں پانی کو پھاڑتے جاتے ہیں تاکہ تم اس کا فضل تلاش کرو اور تاکہ اس کا شکر کرو

And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through [them] that you might seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.

Wa maa yastawil bahraani haaza 'azbun furaatun saaa'ighun sharaabuhoo wa haazaa milhun ujaaj; wa min kullin taakuloona lahman tariyyanw wa tastakhrijoona hilyatan talbasoonahaa wa taral fulka feehi mawaakhira litabtaghoo min fadlihee wa la'allakm tashkuroon

یُولِجُ ٱلَّیۡلَ فِی ٱلنَّهَارِ وَیُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِی ٱلَّیۡلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلࣱّ یَجۡرِی لِأَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّىۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَا یَمۡلِكُونَ مِن قِطۡمِیرٍ

وہ رات کو دن میں داخل کرتا ہے اور دن کو رات میں داخل کرتا ہے اور اسی نے سورج اور چاند کو کام میں لگا رکھا ہے ہر ایک وقت مقرر تک چل رہا ہے یہی الله تمہارا رب ہے اسی کی بادشاہی ہے اور جنہیں تم اس کے سوا پکارتے ہو وہ ایک گھٹلی کے چھلکے کے مالک نہیں

He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon - each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed.

Yoolijul laila fin nahaari wa yoolijun nahaara fil laili wa sakhkharash shamsa wal qamara kulluny yajree li ajalim musammaa; zaalikumul lahuu Rabbukum lahul mulk; wallazeena tad'oona min doonihee maa yamlikoona min qitmeer

إِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ لَا یَسۡمَعُوا۟ دُعَاۤءَكُمۡ وَلَوۡ سَمِعُوا۟ مَا ٱسۡتَجَابُوا۟ لَكُمۡۖ وَیَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ یَكۡفُرُونَ بِشِرۡكِكُمۡۚ وَلَا یُنَبِّئُكَ مِثۡلُ خَبِیرࣲ

اگر تم انہیں پکارو تو وہ تمہاری پکار کو نہیں سنتے اور اگر وہ سن بھی لیں تو تمہیں جواب نہیں دیتے اور قیامت کے دن تمہارے شرک کا انکار کر دیں گے اور تمہیں خبر رکھنے والے کی طرح کوئی نہیں بتائے گا

If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters].

in tad'oohum laa yasma'oo du'aaa'akum wa law sami'oo mas tajaaboo lakum; wa Yawmal Qiyaamati Yakfuroona bishirkikum; wa laa yunabbi'uka mislu khabeer

۞ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَاۤءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلۡغَنِیُّ ٱلۡحَمِیدُ

اے لوگو تم الله کی طرف محتاج ہواور الله بے نیاز تعریف کیا ہوا ہے

O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

Yaaa ayyunhan naasu antumul fuqaraaa'u ilallaahi wallaahu Huwal Ghaniyyul Hameed

إِن یَشَأۡ یُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَیَأۡتِ بِخَلۡقࣲ جَدِیدࣲ

اگر وہ چاہے تو تمہیں لے جائے اور نئی مخلوق لے آئے

If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation.

Iny yashaa yuzhibkum wa yaati bikhalqin jadeed

وَمَا ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِیزࣲ

اور یہ بات الله تعالیٰ پر کچھ مشکل نہیں

And that is for Allah not difficult.

Wa maa zaalika 'alal laahi bi'azeez

وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ وَإِن تَدۡعُ مُثۡقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمۡلِهَا لَا یُحۡمَلۡ مِنۡهُ شَیۡءࣱ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۤۗ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ ٱلَّذِینَ یَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا یَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ

اور کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا دوسرے کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا اور اگر کوئی بوجھ والا اپنے بوجھ کی طرف بلائے گا تو اس کے بوجھ میں سے کچھ بھی اٹھایا نہ جائے گا اگرچہ قریبی رشتہ داری ہو بے شک آپ انہیں لوگوں کو ڈراتے ہیں جو بن دیکھے اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہیں اور نماز قائم کرتے ہیں اور جو پاک ہوتا ہے سو وہ اپنے ہی لیے پا ک ہوتا ہے اور الله ہی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے

And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination.

Wa laa taziru waaziratun wizra ukhraa; wa in tad'u musqalatun ilaa himlihaa laa yuhmal minhu shai'unw wa law kaana zaa qurbaa; innamaa tunzirul lazeena yakhshawna Rabbahum bilghaibi wa aqaamus Sallah; wa man tazakkaa fa innamaa yatazakkaa linafsih; wa ilal laahil maseer

وَمَا یَسۡتَوِی ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِیرُ

اور اندھا اور دیکھنے والا برابر نہیں ہے

Not equal are the blind and the seeing,

Wa maa tastawil a'maa wal baseer

وَلَا ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتُ وَلَا ٱلنُّورُ

اور نہ اندھیرے اور نہ روشنی

Nor are the darknesses and the light,

Wa laz zulumaatu wa lannoon

وَلَا ٱلظِّلُّ وَلَا ٱلۡحَرُورُ

اور نہ سایہ اور نہ دھوپ

Nor are the shade and the heat,

Wa laz zillu wa lal haroor

وَمَا یَسۡتَوِی ٱلۡأَحۡیَاۤءُ وَلَا ٱلۡأَمۡوَ ٰ⁠تُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُسۡمِعُ مَن یَشَاۤءُۖ وَمَاۤ أَنتَ بِمُسۡمِعࣲ مَّن فِی ٱلۡقُبُورِ

اور زندے اور مردے برابر نہیں ہیں بے شک الله سناتا ہے جسے چاہے اور آپ انہیں سنانے والے نہیں جو قبروں میں ہیں

And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.

Wa maa yastawil ahyaaa'u wa lal amwaat; innal laaha yusmi'u mai yashaaa'u wa maaa anta bimusi'im man fil quboor

إِنۡ أَنتَ إِلَّا نَذِیرٌ

نہیں ہیں آپ مگر ڈرانے والے

You, [O Muhammad], are not but a warner.

In anta illaa nazeer

إِنَّاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ بَشِیرࣰا وَنَذِیرࣰاۚ وَإِن مِّنۡ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِیهَا نَذِیرࣱ

بے شک ہم نے آپ کو سچا دین دے کر خوشخبری اور ڈرانے والا بنا کر بھیجا ہے اور کوئی امت نہیں گزری مگر اس میں ایک ڈرانے والا گزر چکا ہے

Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner.

Innaa arsalnaak bil haqqi basheeranw wa nazeeraa; wa im min ummatin illaa khalaa feehaa nazeer

وَإِن یُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ جَاۤءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ وَبِٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ ٱلۡمُنِیرِ

اور اگر وہ آپ کو جھٹلائیں تو ان لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا ہے جو ان سے پہلے ہوئے ان کے پاس ان کے رسول واضح دلیلیں اور صحیفے اور کتاب روشن لے کر آئے

And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture.

Wa inyukazzibooka faqad kazzabal lazeena min qablihim jaaa'at hum Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati wa biz Zuburi wa bil Kitaabil Muneer

ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ۖ فَكَیۡفَ كَانَ نَكِیرِ

پھرمیں نے انہیں پکڑا جومنکر ہوئے پھر میرا عذاب کیسا ہوا

Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach.

Summa akhaztul lazeena kafaroo fakaifa kaana nakeer

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦ ثَمَرَ ٰ⁠تࣲ مُّخۡتَلِفًا أَلۡوَ ٰ⁠نُهَاۚ وَمِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ جُدَدُۢ بِیضࣱ وَحُمۡرࣱ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَ ٰ⁠نُهَا وَغَرَابِیبُ سُودࣱ

کیا تو نے نہیں دیکھا کہ الله ہی آسمان سے پانی اتارتا ہے پھر ہم اس کےذریعے سے پھل نکالتے ہیں جن کے رنگ مختلف ہوتے ہیں اور پہاڑو ں میں مختلف رنگتو ں کے کچھ تو سفید اور کچھ سرخ اور بہت سیاہ بھی ہیں

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black.

Alam tara annal laaha anzala minas samaaa'i maaa'an fa akhrajnaa bihee samaraatim mukhtalifan alwaanuhaa; wa minal jibaali judadum beedunw wa humrum mukhtalifun alwaanuhaa wa gharaabeebu sood

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱلدَّوَاۤبِّ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ مُخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَ ٰ⁠نُهُۥ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَۗ إِنَّمَا یَخۡشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡعُلَمَـٰۤؤُا۟ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِیزٌ غَفُورٌ

اور اسی طرح آدمیوں اور زمین پر چلنے والے جانوروں اور چوپایوں کے بھی مختلف رنگ ہیں بے شک الله سے اس کے بندوں میں سے عالم ہی ڈرتے ہیں بے شک الله غالب بخشنے والا ہے

And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving.

Wa minan naasi wadda waaabbi wal an'aami mukhtalifun alwaanuhoo kazalik; innamaa yakhshal laaha min 'ibaadihil 'ulamaaa'; innal laaha 'Azeezun Ghafoor

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَتۡلُونَ كِتَـٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ سِرࣰّا وَعَلَانِیَةࣰ یَرۡجُونَ تِجَـٰرَةࣰ لَّن تَبُورَ

بے شک جو لوگ الله کی کتاب پڑھتے ہیں اور نماز قائم کرتے ہیں اور پوشیدہ اور ظاہر اس میں سے خرچ کرتے ہیں جو ہم نے انہیں دیا ہے وہ ایسی تجارت کے امیدوار ہیں کہ اس میں خسارہ نہیں

Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish -

Innal lazeena yatloona Kitabbal laahi wa aqaamus Salaata wa anfaqoo mimmaa razaqnaahum sirranw wa 'alaa niyatany yarjoona tijaaratal lan taboor

لِیُوَفِّیَهُمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَیَزِیدَهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ غَفُورࣱ شَكُورࣱ

تاکہ الله انہیں ان کے اجر پورے دے اور انہیں اپنے فضل سے زیادہ دےبے شک وہ بخشنے والا قدردان ہے

That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.

Liyuwaffiyahum ujoorahum wa yazeedahum min fadlih; innahoo Ghafoorun Shakoor

وَٱلَّذِیۤ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مُصَدِّقࣰا لِّمَا بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ لَخَبِیرُۢ بَصِیرࣱ

اور وہ کتاب جو ہم نے آپ کی طرف وحی کی ہے وہ ٹھیک ہے ا س کتاب کی تصدیق کرنے والی ہے جو اس سے پہلے آ چکی بے شک الله اپنے بندو ں سے باخبر دیکھنے والا ہے

And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed, Allah, of His servants, is Acquainted and Seeing.

Wallaeee awhainaaa ilaika minal Kitaabi huwal haqqu musaddiqal limaa baina yadayh; innal laaha bi'ibaadihee la khabeerum Baseer

ثُمَّ أَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱصۡطَفَیۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۖ فَمِنۡهُمۡ ظَالِمࣱ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مُّقۡتَصِدࣱ وَمِنۡهُمۡ سَابِقُۢ بِٱلۡخَیۡرَ ٰ⁠تِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ ٱلۡكَبِیرُ

پھر ہم نے اپنی کتاب کا ان کو وارث بنایا جنہیں ہم نے اپنے بندوں میں سے چن لیا پس بعض ان میں سے اپنے نفس پرظلم کرنے والے ہیں اور بعض ان میں سے میانہ رو ہیں اور بعض ان میں سے الله کے حکم سے نیکیوں میں پیش قدمی کرنے والے ہیں یہی تو الله کا بڑا فضل ہے

Then we caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allah. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty.

Summa awrasnal Kitaaballazeenas tafainaa min 'ibaadinaa faminhum zaalimul linafsihee wa minhum muqtasid, wa minhum saabiqum bilkhairaati bi iznil laah; zaalika huwal fadlul kabeer

جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنࣲ یَدۡخُلُونَهَا یُحَلَّوۡنَ فِیهَا مِنۡ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبࣲ وَلُؤۡلُؤࣰاۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ فِیهَا حَرِیرࣱ

ہمیشہ رہنے کے باغ ہیں وہ ان میں داخل ہوں گے انہیں وہاں سونے کے کنگن اورموتی پہنائیں جائیں گے اور اس میں ان کا لباس ریشم کا ہوگا

[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.

jannaatu 'adniny yad khuloonahaa yuhallawna feeha min asaawira min zahabinw wa lu'lu'anw wa libaa suhum feehaa hareer

وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَذۡهَبَ عَنَّا ٱلۡحَزَنَۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورࣱ شَكُورٌ

اور وہ کہیں گے الله کا شکر ہے جس نے ہم سے غم دور کر دیا بے شک ہمارا رب بخشنے والا قدردان ہے

And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative -

Wa qaalul hamdu lillaahil lazeee azhaba 'annal hazan; inna Rabbanaa la Ghafoorun Shakoor

ٱلَّذِیۤ أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ ٱلۡمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ لَا یَمَسُّنَا فِیهَا نَصَبࣱ وَلَا یَمَسُّنَا فِیهَا لُغُوبࣱ

وہ جس نے اپنے فضل سے ہمیں سدا رہنے کی جگہ میں اتارا جہاں ہمیں نہ کوئی رنج پہنچتا ہے اور نہ کوئی تکلیف

He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."

Allazeee ahallanaa daaral muqaamati min fadlihee laa yamassunaa feehaa nasabunw wa laa yamassunaa feehaa lughoob

وَٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا یُقۡضَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡ فَیَمُوتُوا۟ وَلَا یُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِهَاۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نَجۡزِی كُلَّ كَفُورࣲ

اورجو منکر ہو گئے ان کے لیے دوزخ کی آگ ہے نہ ان پر قضا آئے گی کہ مرجائیں اور نہ ہی ان سے اس کا عذاب ہلکا کیا جائے گا اس طرح ہم ہر ناشکرے کو سزا دیا کرتے ہیں

And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we recompense every ungrateful one.

Wallazeena kafaroo lahum naaru Jahannama laa yuqdaa 'alaihim fa yamootoo wa laa yukhaffafu 'anhum min 'azaabihaa; kazaalika najzee kulla kafoor

وَهُمۡ یَصۡطَرِخُونَ فِیهَا رَبَّنَاۤ أَخۡرِجۡنَا نَعۡمَلۡ صَـٰلِحًا غَیۡرَ ٱلَّذِی كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُۚ أَوَلَمۡ نُعَمِّرۡكُم مَّا یَتَذَكَّرُ فِیهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاۤءَكُمُ ٱلنَّذِیرُۖ فَذُوقُوا۟ فَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِینَ مِن نَّصِیرٍ

اوروہ اس میں چلائیں گے کہ اے ہمارے رب ہمیں نکال ہم نیک کام کریں برخلاف ان کاموں کے جو کیا کرتے تھے کیا ہم نےتمہیں اتنی عمر نہیں دی تھی جس میں سمجھنے والا سمجھ سکتا تھا اور تمہارے پاس ڈرانے والا آیا تھا پس مزہ چکھو پس ظالموں کا کوئی مددگار نہیں

And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us; we will do righteousness - other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper.

Wa hum yastarikhoona feehaa Rabbanaa akhrijnaa na'mal saalihan ghairal lazee kunnaa na'mal; awa lamnu 'ammirkum maa yatazak karu feehi man tazakkara wa jaaa'akumun nazeeru fazooqoo famaa lizzaalimeena min naseer

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَـٰلِمُ غَیۡبِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِیمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

بے شک الله آسمانوں اور زمین کے غیب جانتا ہے بے شک وہ سینوں کے بھید خوب جانتا ہے

Indeed, Allah is Knower of the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

Innal laaha 'aalimu ghaibis samaawaati wal ard; innahoo 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor

هُوَ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَكُمۡ خَلَـٰۤىِٕفَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَیۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۥۖ وَلَا یَزِیدُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا مَقۡتࣰاۖ وَلَا یَزِیدُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ إِلَّا خَسَارࣰا

وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں زمین میں قائم مقام بنایا پس جو کفر کرے گا اس کے کفر کا وبال اسی پر ہوگا اور کافروں کا کفر ان کے رب کے ہاں ناراضگی کے سوا اور کچھ نہیں زیادہ کرتا

It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves - upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss.

Huwal lazee ja'alakum khalaaa'ifa fil ard; faman kafara fa'alaihi kufruhoo; wa laa yazeedul kaafireena kufruhum 'inda Rabbihim illaa maqtanw wa la yazeedul kaafireena kufruhum illaa khasaaraa

قُلۡ أَرَءَیۡتُمۡ شُرَكَاۤءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَرُونِی مَاذَا خَلَقُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ شِرۡكࣱ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ أَمۡ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ كِتَـٰبࣰا فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَیِّنَتࣲ مِّنۡهُۚ بَلۡ إِن یَعِدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ بَعۡضُهُم بَعۡضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا

کہہ دو کیا تم نے اپنے ان معبودو ں کو بھی دیکھا جنہیں تم الله کےسوا پکارتے ہو وہ مجھے دکھاؤ کہ انہوں نے زمین میں کیاپیداکیا ہے یا ان کا کچھ حصہ آسمانوں میں بھی ہے یا انہیں ہم نے کوئی کتاب دی ہے کہ وہ اس کی سند رکھتے ہیں (نہیں) بلکہ ظالم آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو دھوکہ دیتے ہیں

Say, "Have you considered your 'partners' whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership [with Him] in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so they are [standing] on evidence therefrom? [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion."

Qul ara'aytum shurakaaa'a kumul lazeena tad'oona min doonil laah; aroonee maazaa khalaqoo minal ardi am lahum shirkun fis samaawaati am aatainaahum Kitaaban fahum 'alaa baiyinatim minh; bal iny ya'iiduz zaalimoona ba 'duhum ba'dan illaa ghurooraa

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُمۡسِكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَن تَزُولَاۚ وَلَىِٕن زَالَتَاۤ إِنۡ أَمۡسَكَهُمَا مِنۡ أَحَدࣲ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حَلِیمًا غَفُورࣰا

بے شک الله ہی آسمانوں اور زمین کو تھامے ہوئے ہے اس سے کہ وہ اپنی جگہ سے ٹل جائیں اور اگر وہ دونوں اپنی جگہ سے ہٹ جائیں تو ان کو کوئی بھی اس کے بعد روک نہیں سکتا بے شک وہ بردبار بخشنے والا ہے

Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him. Indeed, He is Forbearing and Forgiving.

Innal laaha yumsikus samaawaati wal arda an tazoolaaa; wa la'in zaalataaa in amsa kahumaa min ahadim mim ba'dih; innahoo kaana Haleeman Ghafooraa

وَأَقۡسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَیۡمَـٰنِهِمۡ لَىِٕن جَاۤءَهُمۡ نَذِیرࣱ لَّیَكُونُنَّ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡ إِحۡدَى ٱلۡأُمَمِۖ فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمۡ نَذِیرࣱ مَّا زَادَهُمۡ إِلَّا نُفُورًا

اوروہ الله کی پختہ قسمیں کھاتے تھے اگر ان کے پاس کوئی بھی ڈرانے والا آیا تو ہر ایک امت سے زیادہ ہدایت پر ہوں گے پھر جب ان کے پاس ڈرانے والا آیا تو اس سے ان کو اور بھی نفرت بڑھ گئی

And they swore by Allah their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than [any] one of the [previous] nations. But when a warner came to them, it did not increase them except in aversion.

Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aymaanihim la'in jaaa'ahum nazeerul layakoonunna ahdaa min ihdal umami falam maa jaaa'ahum nazeerum maa zaadahum illaa nufooraa

ٱسۡتِكۡبَارࣰا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَكۡرَ ٱلسَّیِّىِٕۚ وَلَا یَحِیقُ ٱلۡمَكۡرُ ٱلسَّیِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهۡلِهِۦۚ فَهَلۡ یَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَۚ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَبۡدِیلࣰاۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَحۡوِیلًا

کہ ملک میں سرکشی اور بری تدبیریں کرنے لگ گئے اور بری تدبیر تو تدبیرکرنے والے ہی پر لٹ پڑتی ہے پھر کیا وہ اسی برتاؤ کے منتظر ہیں جو پہلے لوگوں سے برتا گیا پس تو الله کے قانون میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں پائے گا اورتو الله کے قانوں میں کوئی تغیر نہیں پائے گا

[Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evil; but the evil plot does not encompass except its own people. Then do they await except the way of the former peoples? But you will never find in the way of Allah any change, and you will never find in the way of Allah any alteration.

Istakbaaran fil ardi wa makras sayyi'; wa laa yaheequl makrus sayyi'u illaa bi ahlih; fahal yanzuroona illaa sunnatal awwaleen; falan tajida lisunnatil laahi tabdeelanw wa lan tajida lisunnatil laahi tahweela

أَوَلَمۡ یَسِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَیَنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوۤا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةࣰۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِیُعۡجِزَهُۥ مِن شَیۡءࣲ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَلَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِیمࣰا قَدِیرࣰا

کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی کہ وہ دیکھتے ان لوگو ں کا کیسا برا انجام ہوا جو ان سے پہلے تھے اور وہ ان سے زیادہ طاقتور تھے اور الله ایسا نہیں ہے کہ اسے کوئی چیز آسمانوں میں اور نہ زمین میں عاجز کر دے بے شک وہ جاننے والا قدرت والا ہے

Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent.

Awalam yaseeroo fil ardi fa yanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena min qblihim wa kaanoo ashadda minhum quwwah; wa maa kaanal laahu liyu'jizahoo min shai'in fis samaawaati wa laa fil ard; innahoo kaana 'Aleeman Qadeeraa

وَلَوۡ یُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَاۤبَّةࣲ وَلَـٰكِن یُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّىۖ فَإِذَا جَاۤءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِیرَۢا

اور اگر الله لوگوں سے ان کے اعمال پر گرفت کرتا تو سطح زمین پر کوئی جاندار نہ چھوڑتا لیکن وہ انہیں ایک وقت مقرر تک ڈھیل دیتا ہے پس جب ا نکا وقت مقرر آجائے گا تو بے شک الله اپنے بندوں کو خوب دیکھ رہا ہے

And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.

Wa law yu'aakhizul laahun naasa bima kasaboo maa taraka 'alaa zahrihaa min daaabbatinw wa laakiny yu'akhkhiruhum ilaaa ajalim musamman fa izaa jaaa'a ajaluhum fa innal laaha kaana bi'ibaadihee Baseeraa
