Surah Anaam with Urdu & English Translation and Audio - سورۃ الانعام

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَۖ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمۡ یَعۡدِلُونَ

سب تعریف الله ہی کے لیے ہے جس نے آسمان اور زمین بنائے اور اندھیرا اوراجالا بنایا پھر بھی یہ کافر اوروں کو اپنے رب کے ساتھ برابر ٹھیراتے ہیں

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.

Alhamdu lillaahil lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa ja'alaz zulumaati wannoor; summal lazeena kafaroo bi Rabbihim ya'diloon

هُوَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِینࣲ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰۤ أَجَلࣰاۖ وَأَجَلࣱ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ تَمۡتَرُونَ

الله وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں مٹی سے پیدا کیا پھر ایک وقت مقرر کر دیا اور اس کےہاں ایک مدت مقرر ہے تم پھر بھی شک کرتے ہو

It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term and a specified time [known] to Him; then [still] you are in dispute.

Huwal lazee khalaqakum min teenin summa qadaaa ajalanw wa ajalum musamman 'indahoo summa antum tamtaroon

وَهُوَ ٱللَّهُ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَفِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ یَعۡلَمُ سِرَّكُمۡ وَجَهۡرَكُمۡ وَیَعۡلَمُ مَا تَكۡسِبُونَ

اور وہی ایک الله آسمانوں میں بھی ہے اور زمین میں بھی تمہارے ظاہر اور چھپے سب حال جانتا ہے او رجانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو

And He is Allah, [the only deity] in the heavens and the earth. He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows that which you earn.

Wa Huwal laahu fissamaawaati wa fil ardi ya'lamu sirrakum wa jahrakum wa ya'lamu maa taksiboon

وَمَا تَأۡتِیهِم مِّنۡ ءَایَةࣲ مِّنۡ ءَایَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِینَ

ان کے رب کی نشانیوں میں سے کوئی نشانی ایسی نہیں جو ان کے سامنے آئی ہو اور انہوں نے منہ نہ موڑا ہو

And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away therefrom.

Wa maa taateehim min Aayatim min Aayaati Rabbihim illaa kaanoo 'anhaa mu'rideen

فَقَدۡ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ یَأۡتِیهِمۡ أَنۢبَـٰۤؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

اب جو حق ان کے پاس آیا تو اسے بھی انہوں نے جھٹلا دیا جس چیز کا اب تک وہ مذاق اڑاتے رہے ہیں عنقریب اس کے متعلق کچھ خبریں ان کو پہنچیں گی

For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule.

Faqad kazzaboo bilhaqqi lammaa jaaa'ahum fasawfa yaateehim ambaaa'u maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon

أَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنࣲ مَّكَّنَّـٰهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَا لَمۡ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمۡ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلسَّمَاۤءَ عَلَیۡهِم مِّدۡرَارࣰا وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرَ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهِمۡ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَـٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَأَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِینَ

کیا وہ دیکھتے نہیں کہ ہم ان سے پہلے بھی کتنی امتیں ہلاک کر دیں ہم نے انہیں زمین میں وہ اقتدار بخشا تھا جو تمہیں نہیں بخشا اور ہم نے ان پر آسمان سے خوب بارشیں برسائیں اوران کے نیچے نہریں بہا دیں پھر ہم نے انہیں ان کے گناہوں کی پاداش میں ہلاک کر دیا اور ہم نے ان کے بعد اور امتوں کو پیدا کیا

Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them which We had established upon the earth as We have not established you? And We sent [rain from] the sky upon them in showers and made rivers flow beneath them; then We destroyed them for their sins and brought forth after them a generation of others.

Alam yaraw kam ahlaknaa min qablihim min qarnim makkannaahum fil ardi maa lam numakkil lakum wa arsalnas samaaa'a 'alaihim midraaranw wa ja'alnal anhaara tajree min tahtihim fa ahlak naahum bizunoobihim wa anshaanaa mim ba'dihim qarnan aakhareen

وَلَوۡ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَیۡكَ كِتَـٰبࣰا فِی قِرۡطَاسࣲ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَیۡدِیهِمۡ لَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّا سِحۡرࣱ مُّبِینࣱ

اور اگر ہم تم پر کوئی کاغذ پر لکھی ہوئی کتاب اتار دیتے اور لوگوں سے اپنے ہاتھوں سے چھو کر بھی دیکھ لیتے تب بھی کافر یہی کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تو صریح جادو ہے

And even if We had sent down to you, [O Muhammad], a written scripture on a page and they touched it with their hands, the disbelievers would say, "This is not but obvious magic."

Wa law nazzalnaa 'alaika Kitaaban fee qirtaasin falamasoohu bi aideehim laqaalal lazeena kafarooo in haazaaa illaa sihrum mubeen

وَقَالُوا۟ لَوۡلَاۤ أُنزِلَ عَلَیۡهِ مَلَكࣱۖ وَلَوۡ أَنزَلۡنَا مَلَكࣰا لَّقُضِیَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ ثُمَّ لَا یُنظَرُونَ

اور کہتے ہیں اس پر کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہیں اتارا گیا اور اگر ہم فرشتہ اتارے تو اب تک فیصلہ ہو چکا ہوتا پھر انہیں مہلت نہ دی جاتی

And they say, "Why was there not sent down to him an angel?" But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided; then they would not be reprieved.

Wa qaaloo law laaa unzila alaihi malakunw wa law anzalna malakal laqudiyal amru summa laa yunzaroon

وَلَوۡ جَعَلۡنَـٰهُ مَلَكࣰا لَّجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ رَجُلࣰا وَلَلَبَسۡنَا عَلَیۡهِم مَّا یَلۡبِسُونَ

اور اگر ہم کسی کو فرشتہ کو رسول بنا کر بھیجتے تو وہ بھی آدمی ہی کی صورت میں ہوتا اور انہیں اسی میں شبہ میں ڈالے جس میں اب مبتلا ہیں

And if We had made him an angel, We would have made him [appear as] a man, and We would have covered them with that in which they cover themselves.

Wa law ja'alnaahu malakal laja'alnaahu rajulanw wa lalabasnaa 'alaihim maa yalbisoon

وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِینَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنۡهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

اور تم سے پہلے بھی بہت سے رسولوں کا مذاق اڑایا جا چکا ہے پھر جن لوگوں نے ان سے مذاق کیا تھا انہیں اسی عذاب نے آ گھیرا جس کا مذاق اڑاتے تھے

And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule.

Wa laqadis tuhzi'a bi-Rusulim min qablika fahaaqa billazeena sakhiroo minhum maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon

قُلۡ سِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ

کہہ دو کہ ملک میں سیر کرو پھر دیکھو جھٹلانے والوں کا کیا انجام ہوا

Say, "Travel through the land; then observe how was the end of the deniers."

Qul seeroo fil ardi summan zuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul mukazzibeen

قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ قُل لِّلَّهِۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَةَۚ لَیَجۡمَعَنَّكُمۡ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیهِۚ ٱلَّذِینَ خَسِرُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ

ان سے پوچھو آسمان اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے وہ کس کا ہے کہہ دو سب کچھ الله ہی کا ہے اس نے اپنے اوپر رحم لازم کر لیا ہے وہ قیامت کے دن تم سب کو ضرور اکھٹا کرے گا جس میں کچھ شک نہیں جو لوگ اپنی جانوں کا نقصان میں ڈال چکے وہ ایمان نہیں لاتے

Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To Allah." He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves [that Day] do not believe.

Qul limam maa fis samaawaati wal ardi qul lillaah; kataba 'alaa nafsihir rahmah; la yajma 'annakum ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati laa raiba feeh; allazeena khasirooo anfusahum fahum laa yu'minoon

۞ وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِی ٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِیعُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ

اور الله ہی کا ہے جو کچھ رات اور دن میں پایا جاتا ہے اور وہی سننے والا جاننے والا ہے

And to Him belongs that which reposes by night and by day, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

Wa lahoo maa sakana fillaili wannahaar; wa Huwas Samee'ul Aleem

قُلۡ أَغَیۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِیࣰّا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُوَ یُطۡعِمُ وَلَا یُطۡعَمُۗ قُلۡ إِنِّیۤ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنۡ أَسۡلَمَۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ

کہہ دو جو الله آُسمانوں اور زمین کا بنانے والا ہے کیا اس کے سوا کسی اور کو اپنا مددگار بناؤں اور وہ سب کو کھلاتا ہے اور اسے کوئی نہیں کھلاتا کہہ دو مجھے تو حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے اس کا فرمانبردار ہو جاؤں اور تو ہرگز مشرکوں میں شامل نہ ہو

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' "

Qul aghairal laahi attakhizu waliyyan faatiris samaawaati wal ardi wa Huwa yut'imu wa laa yut'am; qul inneee umirtu an akoona awwala man salama wa laa takoonanna minal mushrikeen

قُلۡ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَیۡتُ رَبِّی عَذَابَ یَوۡمٍ عَظِیمࣲ

کہہ دو اگر میں اپنے رب کی نافرمانی کروں تو ایک بڑے دن کےعذاب سے ڈرتا ہوں

Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."

Qul inneee akhaafu in 'asaitu Rabbee 'azaaba Yawmin 'Azeem

مَّن یُصۡرَفۡ عَنۡهُ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ فَقَدۡ رَحِمَهُۥۚ وَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ

جس سے اس دن عذاب ٹل گیا تو اس پر الله نے رحم کر دیا اور یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے

He from whom it is averted that Day - [Allah] has granted him mercy. And that is the clear attainment.

Mai yusraf 'anhu Yawma'izin faqad rahimah; wa zaalikal fawzul mubeen

وَإِن یَمۡسَسۡكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرࣲّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥۤ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَإِن یَمۡسَسۡكَ بِخَیۡرࣲ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ

اور اگر الله تجھے کوئی تکلیف پہنچائے تواس کے سوا اور کوئی دور کرنے والا نہیں اور اگر تجھے کوئی بھلائی پہنچائے تو وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent.

Wa iny-yamsaskal laahu bidurrin falaaa kaashifa lahoo illaa Huwa wa iny-yamsaska bikhairin fa Huwa 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer

وَهُوَ ٱلۡقَاهِرُ فَوۡقَ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ٱلۡخَبِیرُ

اوراپنے بندوں پر اسی کا زور ہے اور وہی حکمت والا خبردار ہے

And He is the subjugator over His servants. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted [with all].

Wa Huwal gaahiru fawqa 'ibaadih; wa Huwal Hakeemul Khabeer

قُلۡ أَیُّ شَیۡءٍ أَكۡبَرُ شَهَـٰدَةࣰۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ شَهِیدُۢ بَیۡنِی وَبَیۡنَكُمۡۚ وَأُوحِیَ إِلَیَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِۦ وَمَنۢ بَلَغَۚ أَىِٕنَّكُمۡ لَتَشۡهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً أُخۡرَىٰۚ قُل لَّاۤ أَشۡهَدُۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهࣱ وَ ٰ⁠حِدࣱ وَإِنَّنِی بَرِیۤءࣱ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

تو پوچھ سب سے بڑا گواہ کون ہے کہہ دو الله میرے اور تمہارے درمیان گواہ ہے اور مجھ پر یہ قرآن اتارا گیا ہے تاکہ تمہیں اس کے ذریعہ سے ڈراؤں اور جس جس کو یہ قرآن پہنچے کیا تم گواہی دیتے ہو کہ الله کے ساتھ اور بھی کوئی معبود ہیں کہہ دو میں تو گواہی نہیں دیتا کہہ دو وہی ایک معبود ہے اور میں تمہارے شرک سے بیزار ہوں

Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" Say, "Allah is witness between me and you. And this Qur'an was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you [truly] testify that with Allah there are other deities?" Say, "I will not testify [with you]." Say, "Indeed, He is but one God, and indeed, I am free of what you associate [with Him]."

Qul ayyu shai'in akbaru shahaadatan qulil laahu shaheedum bainee wa bainakum; wa oohiya ilaiya haazal Qur'aanu li unzirakum bihee wa mam balagh; a'innakum latashhadoona anna ma'al laahi aalihatan ukhraa; qul laaa ashhad; qul innamaa Huwa Ilaahunw Waahidunw wa innanee baree'um mimmaa tushrikoon

ٱلَّذِینَ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ یَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا یَعۡرِفُونَ أَبۡنَاۤءَهُمُۘ ٱلَّذِینَ خَسِرُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ

جنہیں ہم نے کتاب دی ہے وہ اسے پہچانتے ہیں جیسے اپنے بیٹوں کو پہچانتے ہیں اور جو لوگ اپنی جانوں کو نقصان میں ڈال چکے ہیں وہی ایمان نہیں لاتے

Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe.

Allazeena aatainaa humul Kitaaba ya'rifoonahoo kamaa ya'rifoona abnaaa'ahum; allazeena khasirooo anfusahum fahum laa yu'minoon

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا یُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

جو شخص الله پر بہتان باندھے یا اس کی آیتوں کو جھٹلائے اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون ہے بے شک ظالم نجات نہیں پائیں گے

And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.

Wa man azlamu mim manif tara 'alal laahi kaziban aw kazzaba bi Aayaatih; innahoo laa yuflihuz zaalimoon

وَیَوۡمَ نَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِیعࣰا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِینَ أَشۡرَكُوۤا۟ أَیۡنَ شُرَكَاۤؤُكُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ

اور جس دن ہم ان سب کو جمع کریں گے پھر ان لوگوں سے کہیں گے جنہوں نے شرک کیا تھا تمہارے شریک کہاں ہیں جن کاتمہیں دعویٰ تھا

And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will gather them all together; then We will say to those who associated others with Allah, "Where are your 'partners' that you used to claim [with Him]?"

Wa yawma nahshuruhum jamee'an summa naqoolu lillazeena ashrakooo ayna shurakaaa' ukumul lazeena kuntum taz'umoon

ثُمَّ لَمۡ تَكُن فِتۡنَتُهُمۡ إِلَّاۤ أَن قَالُوا۟ وَٱللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشۡرِكِینَ

پھر سوائے اس کے ان کا اورکوئی بہانہ نہ ہوگا کہیں گے ہمیں الله اپنے پرودگار کی قسم ہے کہ ہم تو مشرک نہیں تھے

Then there will be no [excuse upon] examination except they will say, "By Allah, our Lord, we were not those who associated."

Summa lam takun fitnatuhum illaaa an qaaloo wallaahi Rabbinaa maa kunnaa mushrikeen

ٱنظُرۡ كَیۡفَ كَذَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡۚ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یَفۡتَرُونَ

دیکھو اپنے اوپر انہوں نے کیسا جھوٹ بولا اور جو باتیں وہ بنایا کرتا تھے وہ سب غائب ہو گئیں

See how they will lie about themselves. And lost from them will be what they used to invent.

Unzur kaifa kazaboo 'alaaa anfusihim, wa dalla 'anhum maa kaanoo yaftaroon

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن یَسۡتَمِعُ إِلَیۡكَۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ أَكِنَّةً أَن یَفۡقَهُوهُ وَفِیۤ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرࣰاۚ وَإِن یَرَوۡا۟ كُلَّ ءَایَةࣲ لَّا یُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِهَاۖ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا جَاۤءُوكَ یُجَـٰدِلُونَكَ یَقُولُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّاۤ أَسَـٰطِیرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ

اور بعض ان میں سے تیری طرف کان لگائے رہتے ہیں اور ہم نے ان کے دلوں پر پردے ڈال رکھے ہیں جس کی وجہ سے وہ کچھ نہیں سمجھتے اور ان کے کانو ں میں گرانی ہے اور اگر یہ تمام نشانیاں بھی دیکھ لیں تو بھی ان پر ایمان نہ لادیں گے جب وہ تمہارے پاس آ کر تم سے جھگڑتے ہیں تو کافر کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تو پہلے لوگو ں کی کہانیاں ہی ہیں

And among them are those who listen to you, but We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. Even when they come to you arguing with you, those who disbelieve say, "This is not but legends of the former peoples."

Wa minhum mai yastami'u ilaika wa ja'alnaa 'alaa quloobihim akinnatan ai yafqahoohu wa feee aazaanihim waqraa; wa ai yaraw kulla Aayatil laa yu'minoo bihaa; hattaaa izaa jaaa'oka yujaadiloonaka yaqoolul lazeena kafaroo in haazaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen

وَهُمۡ یَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنۡهُ وَیَنۡـَٔوۡنَ عَنۡهُۖ وَإِن یُهۡلِكُونَ إِلَّاۤ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَمَا یَشۡعُرُونَ

اور یہ لوگ اس سے روکتے ہیں اور خود بھی اس سے دور بھاگتے ہیں اور انہیں ہلاک کر تے مگر اپنے آپ کو اور سمجھتے نہیں

And they prevent [others] from him and are [themselves] remote from him. And they do not destroy except themselves, but they perceive [it] not.

Wa hum yanhawna 'anhu wa yan'awna 'anhu wa iny yuhlikoona illaa anfusahum wa maa yash'uroon

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰۤ إِذۡ وُقِفُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَقَالُوا۟ یَـٰلَیۡتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ

کاش تم اس وقت کی حالت دیکھ سکتے جب وہ دوزخ کے کنارے کھڑے کیے جائیں گے اس وقت کہیں گے کاش کوئی صورت ایسی ہو کہ ہم واپس بھیج دیے جائیں اور اپنے رب کی نشانیوں کو نہ جھٹلائیں اور ایمان والوں میں ہوجائیں

If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, "Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth] and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers."

Wa law taraaa iz wauqifoo 'alan Naari faqaaloo yaa laitanaa nuraddu wa laa nukaz ziba bi Aayaati Rabbinaa wa nakoona minal mu'mineen

بَلۡ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یُخۡفُونَ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَلَوۡ رُدُّوا۟ لَعَادُوا۟ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنۡهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ

بلکہ جس چیز کو اس سے پہلے چھپاتے تھے وہ ظاہر ہو گئی اور اگر یہ واپس بھیج دیے جائیں تب بھی وہی کام کریں گے جن سے انہیں منع کیا گیا تھا اور یقیناً یہ جھوٹے ہیں

But what they concealed before has [now] appeared to them. And even if they were returned, they would return to that which they were forbidden; and indeed, they are liars.

Bal badaa lahum maa kaanoo yukhfoona min qablu wa law ruddoo la'aadoo limaa nuhoo 'anhu wa innahum lakaaziboon

وَقَالُوۤا۟ إِنۡ هِیَ إِلَّا حَیَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَبۡعُوثِینَ

اور کہتےہیں اس دنیا کی زندگی کے سوا ہمارے لیے اور کوئی زندگی نہیں اور ہم اٹھائے نہیں جائیں گے

And they say, "There is none but our worldly life, and we will not be resurrected."

Wa qaalooo in hiya illaa hayaatunad dunyaa wa maa nahnu bimab'ooseen

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰۤ إِذۡ وُقِفُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡۚ قَالَ أَلَیۡسَ هَـٰذَا بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَاۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ

اور کاش کہ تو دیکھے جس وقت وہ اپنے رب کے سامنے کھڑے کیے جائیں گے وہ فرمائے گا کیا یہ سچ نہیں کہیں گے ہاں ہمیں رب کی قسم ہے فرمائے گا تو اپنے کفر کے بدلے عذاب چکھو

If you could but see when they will be made to stand before their Lord. He will say, "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will [then] say, "So taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve."

Wa law taraa iz wuqifoo 'alaa Rabbihim; qaala alaisa haazaa bilhaqq; qaaloo balaa wa Rabbinaa; qaala fazooqul 'azaaba bimaa kuntum takfuroon

قَدۡ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَاۤءِ ٱللَّهِۖ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا جَاۤءَتۡهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغۡتَةࣰ قَالُوا۟ یَـٰحَسۡرَتَنَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطۡنَا فِیهَا وَهُمۡ یَحۡمِلُونَ أَوۡزَارَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِمۡۚ أَلَا سَاۤءَ مَا یَزِرُونَ

وہ لوگ تباہ ہوئے جنہوں نے اپنے رب کی ملاقات کو جھٹلایا یہاں تک کہ جب ان پر قیامت اچانک آ پہنچے گی تو کہیں گے اے افسوس ہم نے اس میں کیسی کوتاہی کی اور وہ اپنے بوجھ اپنے پیٹوں پر اٹھائیں گےخبرداروہ برا بوجھ ہے جسے وہ اٹھائیں گے

Those will have lost who deny the meeting with Allah, until when the Hour [of resurrection] comes upon them unexpectedly, they will say, "Oh, [how great is] our regret over what we neglected concerning it," while they bear their burdens on their backs. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.

Qad khasiral lazeena kazzaboo biliqaaa'il laahi hattaaa izaa jaaa'at humus Saa'atu baghtan qaaloo yaa hasratanaa 'alaa maa farratnaa feehaa wa hum yahmiloona awzaarahum 'alaa zuhoorihim; alaa saaa'a ma yaziroon

وَمَا ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۤ إِلَّا لَعِبࣱ وَلَهۡوࣱۖ وَلَلدَّارُ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةُ خَیۡرࣱ لِّلَّذِینَ یَتَّقُونَۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

اور دنیا کی زندگی تو ایک کھیل اور تماشہ ہے اور البتہ آخرت کا گھر ان لوگوں کے لیے بہتر ہے جو پرہیزگار ہوئے کیا تم نہیں سمجھتے

And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?

Wa mal hayaatud dunyaaa illaa la'ibunw wa lahwunw wa lad Daarul Aakhiratu kahyrul lillazeena yattaqoon; afalaa ta'qiloon

قَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ إِنَّهُۥ لَیَحۡزُنُكَ ٱلَّذِی یَقُولُونَۖ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَا یُكَذِّبُونَكَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ یَجۡحَدُونَ

ہمیں معلوم ہے کہ ان کی باتیں تمہیں غم میں ڈالتی ہیں سو وہ تجھے نہیں جھٹلاتے بلکہ یہ ظالم الله کی آیتوں کا انکار کرتے ہیں

We know that you, [O Muhammad], are saddened by what they say. And indeed, they do not call you untruthful, but it is the verses of Allah that the wrongdoers reject.

Qad na'lamu innahoo layahzunukal lazee yaqooloona fa innahum laa yukazziboonaka wa laakinnaz zaalimeena bi Aayaatil laahi yajhadoon

وَلَقَدۡ كُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلࣱ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَصَبَرُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا كُذِّبُوا۟ وَأُوذُوا۟ حَتَّىٰۤ أَتَىٰهُمۡ نَصۡرُنَاۚ وَلَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَلَقَدۡ جَاۤءَكَ مِن نَّبَإِی۟ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ

اور بہت سے رسول تم سے پہلے جھٹلائے گئے پھر انہوں نےجھٹلائے جانے پر صبر کیا اور ایذا دیے گئے یہاں تک کہ ان کو ہماری مدد پہنچی اور الله کے فیصلے کوئی بدل نہیں سکتا اور تمہیں پیغمبروں کے حالات کچھ پہنچ چکے ہیں

And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah. And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.

Wa laqad kuzzibat Rusulum min qablika fasabaroo 'alaa maa kuzziboo wa oozoo hattaaa ataahum nasrunaa; wa laa mubaddila li Kalimaatil laah; wa laqad jaaa'aka min naba'il mursaleen

وَإِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَیۡكَ إِعۡرَاضُهُمۡ فَإِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتَ أَن تَبۡتَغِیَ نَفَقࣰا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَوۡ سُلَّمࣰا فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ فَتَأۡتِیَهُم بِـَٔایَةࣲۚ وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰۚ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡجَـٰهِلِینَ

اور اگر ان کا منہ پھیرنا تم پر گراں ہو رہا ہے پھر اگر تم سے ہو سکے تو کوئی سرنگ زمین میں تلاش کر یا آسمان سے سیڑھی لگا پھر ان کے پاس کوئی معجزہ لا اور اگر الله چاہتا تو سب کو سیدھی راہ پر جمع کر دیتا سو تو نادانوں میں سے نہ ہو

And if their evasion is difficult for you, then if you are able to seek a tunnel into the earth or a stairway into the sky to bring them a sign, [then do so]. But if Allah had willed, He would have united them upon guidance. So never be of the ignorant.

Wa in kaana kabura 'alaika i'raaduhum fa inistata'ta an tabtaghiya nafaqan fil ardi aw sullaman fis samaaa'i fataa tiyahum bi Aayah; wa law shaaa'al laahu lajama'ahum 'alal hudaa; falaa takoonanna minal jaahileen

۞ إِنَّمَا یَسۡتَجِیبُ ٱلَّذِینَ یَسۡمَعُونَۘ وَٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ یَبۡعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ إِلَیۡهِ یُرۡجَعُونَ

وہی مانتے ہیں جو سنتے ہیں اور الله مردوں کو زندہ کرے گا پھر اس کی طرف لوٹائے جائیں گے

Only those who hear will respond. But the dead - Allah will resurrect them; then to Him they will be returned.

Innamaa yastajeebul lazeena yasma'oon; walmawtaa yab'asuhumul laahu summa ilaihi yurja'oon

وَقَالُوا۟ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَیۡهِ ءَایَةࣱ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰۤ أَن یُنَزِّلَ ءَایَةࣰ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ

اور کہتے ہیں اس کے رب کی طرف سے اس پر کوئی نشانی کیوں نہیں اتری کہہ دو الله اس پر قادر ہے کہ نشانی اتارے اور لیکن ان میں سے اکثر نہیں جانتے

And they say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, "Indeed, Allah is Able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know."

Wa qaaloo law laa nuzzila 'alaihi Aayatum mir Rabbih; qul innal laaha qaadirun 'alaaa ai yunazzila Aayatanw wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya'lamoon

وَمَا مِن دَاۤبَّةࣲ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا طَـٰۤىِٕرࣲ یَطِیرُ بِجَنَاحَیۡهِ إِلَّاۤ أُمَمٌ أَمۡثَالُكُمۚ مَّا فَرَّطۡنَا فِی ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ مِن شَیۡءࣲۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ یُحۡشَرُونَ

اور کوئی چلنے والا زمین میں نہیں اور نہ کوئی پرندہ کہ اپنے دوبازؤں سے اڑ تا ہے مگر یہ تمہاری ہی طرح کی جماعتیں ہیں ہم نے ان کی تقدیر کےلکھنے میں کوئی کسرنہیں چھوڑی پھر سب اپنے رب کے سامنے جمع کیے جائیں گے

And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.

Wa maa min daaabbatin fil ardi wa laa taaa'iriny yateeru bijanaahaihi illaaa umamun amsaalukum; maa farratnaa fil Kitaabi min shai'in summa ilaa Rabbihim yuhsharoon

وَٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا صُمࣱّ وَبُكۡمࣱ فِی ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِۗ مَن یَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ یُضۡلِلۡهُ وَمَن یَشَأۡ یَجۡعَلۡهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰ⁠طࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ

اور جو لوگ ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلاتے ہیں وہ بہرےاور گونگے ہیں اندھیروں میں ہیں الله جسے چاہے گمراہ کر دے اور جسے چاہے سیدھی راہ پر ڈال دے

But those who deny Our verses are deaf and dumb within darknesses. Whomever Allah wills - He leaves astray; and whomever He wills - He puts him on a straight path.

Wallazeena kazzaboo bi Aayaatinaa summunw wa bukmun fiz zulumaat; mai yasha il laahu yudlilh; wa mai yashaa yaj'alhu 'alaa Siraatim Mustaqeem

قُلۡ أَرَءَیۡتَكُمۡ إِنۡ أَتَىٰكُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡ أَتَتۡكُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَغَیۡرَ ٱللَّهِ تَدۡعُونَ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ

کہہ دو دیکھو تو سہی اگر تم پرخدا کا عذاب آئے یا تم پر قیامت ہی آ جائے تو کیا خدا کے سوا کسی اور کو پکارو گے اگر تم سچے ہو

Say, "Have you considered: if there came to you the punishment of Allah or there came to you the Hour - is it other than Allah you would invoke, if you should be truthful?"

Qaul ara'aytakum in ataakum 'azaabul laahi aw atatkumus Saa'atu a-ghairal laahi tad'oona in kuntum saadiqeen

بَلۡ إِیَّاهُ تَدۡعُونَ فَیَكۡشِفُ مَا تَدۡعُونَ إِلَیۡهِ إِن شَاۤءَ وَتَنسَوۡنَ مَا تُشۡرِكُونَ

بلکہ اسی کو پکارتے ہو پھر اگر وہ چاہتا ہے تو اس مصیبت کو دور کر دیتا ہے جس کے لیے اسے پکارتے ہو اور جنہیں تم الله کا شریک بناتے ہو انہیں بھول جاتے ہو

No, it is Him [alone] you would invoke, and He would remove that for which you invoked Him if He willed, and you would forget what you associate [with Him].

Bal iyyaahu tad'oona fa yakshifu maa tad'oona ilaihi in shaaa'a wa tansawna maa tushrikoon

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰۤ أُمَمࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَخَذۡنَـٰهُم بِٱلۡبَأۡسَاۤءِ وَٱلضَّرَّاۤءِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَتَضَرَّعُونَ

اور ہم نے تجھ سے پہلے بہت سی امتوں کے ہاں رسول بھیجےتھے پھر ہم نے انہیں سختی اور تکلیف میں پکڑا تاکہ وہ عاجزی کریں

And We have already sent [messengers] to nations before you, [O Muhammad]; then We seized them with poverty and hardship that perhaps they might humble themselves [to Us].

Wa laqad arsalnaaa ilaaa umamim min qablika fa akhaznaahum bilbaasaaa'i waddarraaa'i la'allahum yata darra'oon

فَلَوۡلَاۤ إِذۡ جَاۤءَهُم بَأۡسُنَا تَضَرَّعُوا۟ وَلَـٰكِن قَسَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَزَیَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ

پھر کیوں نہ ہوا کہ جب ان پر ہمارا عذاب آیا تو عاجزی کرتے لیکن ان کے دل سخت ہو گئے اور شیطان نے انہیں وہ کام آراستہ کر دکھائے جو وہ کرتے تھے

Then why, when Our punishment came to them, did they not humble themselves? But their hearts became hardened, and Satan made attractive to them that which they were doing.

Falaw laaa iz jaaa'ahum baasunaa tadarra'oo wa laakin qasat quloobuhum wa zaiyana lahumush Shaitaanu maa kaanoo ya'maloon

فَلَمَّا نَسُوا۟ مَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ أَبۡوَ ٰ⁠بَ كُلِّ شَیۡءٍ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا فَرِحُوا۟ بِمَاۤ أُوتُوۤا۟ أَخَذۡنَـٰهُم بَغۡتَةࣰ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبۡلِسُونَ

پھر جب وہ اس نصیحت کو بھول گئے جو ان کو کی گئی تھی تو ہم نے ان پر ہر چیز کے دروازے کھول دیئے یہاں تک کہ جب وہ ان چیزوں پر خوش ہو گئےجو انہیں دی گئیں تھیں ہم نے انہیں اچانک پکڑ لیا وہ اس وقت نا امید ہوکر کر رہ گئے

So when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, We opened to them the doors of every [good] thing until, when they rejoiced in that which they were given, We seized them suddenly, and they were [then] in despair.

Falammaa nasoo maa zukkiroo bihee fatahnaa 'alaihim abwaaba kulli shai'in hattaaa izaa farihoo bimaaa ootooo akhaznaahum baghtatan fa izaa hum mmublisoon

فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ۚ وَٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ

پھر ان ظالموں کی جڑ کاٹ دی گئی اور الله ہی کے لیے سب تعریف ہے جو سارے جہان کا پالنے والا ہے

So the people that committed wrong were eliminated. And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

Faquti'a daabirul qawmil lazeena zalamoo; walhamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen

قُلۡ أَرَءَیۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ سَمۡعَكُمۡ وَأَبۡصَـٰرَكُمۡ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُم مَّنۡ إِلَـٰهٌ غَیۡرُ ٱللَّهِ یَأۡتِیكُم بِهِۗ ٱنظُرۡ كَیۡفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ ثُمَّ هُمۡ یَصۡدِفُونَ

ان سے کہہ دو دیکھو تو سہی اگر الله ہی کے لیے سب تعریف ہے جو سارے جہان کا پالنے والا ہےاگر الله تمہارے کان اور آنکھیں چھین لے اور تمہارے دلوں پر مہر لگا دے تو الله کے سوا کوئی ایسا رب ہے جو تمہیں یہ چیزیں لادے دیکھ ہم کیوں کر طرح طرح کی نشانیاں بیان کرتے ہیں پھر بھی یہ منہ موڑتے ہیں

Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should take away your hearing and your sight and set a seal upon your hearts, which deity other than Allah could bring them [back] to you?" Look how we diversify the verses; then they [still] turn away.

Qul ara'aitum in akhazal laahu sam'akum wa absaarakum wa khatama 'alaa quloobikum man ilaahun ghairul laahi yaateekum bih; unzur kaifa nusarriful Aayaati summa hum yasdifoon

قُلۡ أَرَءَیۡتَكُمۡ إِنۡ أَتَىٰكُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ بَغۡتَةً أَوۡ جَهۡرَةً هَلۡ یُهۡلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

کہہ دو اگرتم پر الله کا عذاب اچانک یا ظاہر آ جائے تو ظالموں کے سوا اور کون ہلاک ہو گا

Say, "Have you considered: if the punishment of Allah should come to you unexpectedly or manifestly, will any be destroyed but the wrongdoing people?"

Qul ara'aitakum in ataakum 'azaabul laahi baghtatan aw jahratan hal yuhlaku illal qawmuz zaalimoon

وَمَا نُرۡسِلُ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِینَ وَمُنذِرِینَۖ فَمَنۡ ءَامَنَ وَأَصۡلَحَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یَحۡزَنُونَ

اور ہم پیغبروں کو صرف اس لیے بھیجا کرتے ہیں کہ وہ بشارت دیں اور ڈرائیں پھر جو شخص ایمان لے آوے اور اپنی اصلاح کر لے سو ان پر کوئی ڈر نہ ہوگا اور نہ وہ غم کھائيں گے

And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. So whoever believes and reforms - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Wa maa nursilul mursaleena illaa mubashshireena wa munzireena faman aamana wa aslaha falaa khawfun 'alaihim wa laa hum yahzanoon

وَٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا یَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَفۡسُقُونَ

اور جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا انہیں عذاب پہنچے گا اس لیے کہ وہ نافرمانی کرتے تھے

But those who deny Our verses - the punishment will touch them for their defiant disobedience.

Wallazeena kazzaboo bi Aayaatinaa yamassuhumul 'azaabu bimaa kaanoo yafsuqoon

قُل لَّاۤ أَقُولُ لَكُمۡ عِندِی خَزَاۤىِٕنُ ٱللَّهِ وَلَاۤ أَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبَ وَلَاۤ أَقُولُ لَكُمۡ إِنِّی مَلَكٌۖ إِنۡ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا یُوحَىٰۤ إِلَیَّۚ قُلۡ هَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِیرُۚ أَفَلَا تَتَفَكَّرُونَ

کہہ دو میں تم سے یہ نہیں کہتا کہ میرے پاس الله کے خزانے ہیں اور نہ میں غیب کا علم رکھتا ہوں اور نہ یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں فرشتہ ہوں میں تو صرف اس وحی کی پیروی کرتا ہوں جو مجھ پر نازل کی جاتی ہے کہہ دو کیا اندھا اور آنکھوں والا دونوں برابر ہو سکتے ہیں کیا تم غور نہیں کرتے

Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not tell you that I have the depositories [containing the provision] of Allah or that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me." Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Then will you not give thought?"

Qul laaa aqoolu lakum 'indee khazaaa'inul laahi wa laaa a'lamul ghaiba wa laaa aqoolu lakum innee malakun in attabi'u illaa maa yoohaaa ilaiy; qul hal yastawil a'maa walbaseer; afalaa tatafakkaroon

وَأَنذِرۡ بِهِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَخَافُونَ أَن یُحۡشَرُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ لَیۡسَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ وَلِیࣱّ وَلَا شَفِیعࣱ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ یَتَّقُونَ

اور اس قرآن کے ذریعے سے ان لوگو ں کو ڈرا جنہیں اس کا ڈر ہے کہ وہ اپنے رب کے سامنے جمع کیے جائیں گے اس طرح پر کہ الله کے سوا ان کوئی مددگار اور سفارش کرنے والا نہ ہو گا تاکہ وہ پرہیزگار ہوجائیں

And warn by the Qur'an those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord - for them besides Him will be no protector and no intercessor - that they might become righteous.

Wa anzir bihil lazeena yakhaafoona ai yuhsharooo ilaa Rabbihim laisa lahum min doonihee waliyyunw wa laa shafee'ul la'allahum yattaqoon

وَلَا تَطۡرُدِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَدۡعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلۡعَشِیِّ یُرِیدُونَ وَجۡهَهُۥۖ مَا عَلَیۡكَ مِنۡ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَیۡءࣲ وَمَا مِنۡ حِسَابِكَ عَلَیۡهِم مِّن شَیۡءࣲ فَتَطۡرُدَهُمۡ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ

اور جو لوگ اپنے رب کو صبح و شام پکارتے ہیں انہیں اپنے سے دور نہ کر جو الله کی رضا چاہتے ہیں تیرے ذمہ ان کا کوئی حساب نہیں ہے اور نہ تیرا کوئی حساب ان کے ذمہ اگر تو نے انہیں دو ہٹا یا پس تو بے انصافوں میں سے ہوگا

And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His countenance. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.

Wa laa tatrudil lazeena yad'oona Rabbahum bilghadaati wal 'ashiyyi yureedoona Wajhahoo ma 'alaika min hisaabihim min shai'inw wa maa min hisaabika 'alaihim min shai'in fatatrudahum fatakoona minaz zaalimeen

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعۡضَهُم بِبَعۡضࣲ لِّیَقُولُوۤا۟ أَهَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهِم مِّنۢ بَیۡنِنَاۤۗ أَلَیۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعۡلَمَ بِٱلشَّـٰكِرِینَ

اور اسی طرح ہم نے بعض کو بعض کے ذریعہ سے آزمایا ہے تاکہ یہ لوگ کہیں کیا یہی ہیں ہم میں سے جن پر الله نے فضل کیا ہے کیا الله شکر گزارو ں کو جاننے والا نہیں ہے

And thus We have tried some of them through others that the disbelievers might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful?

Wa kazaalika fatannaa ba'dahum biba'dil liyaqoolooo ahaaa'ulaaa'i mannal laahu 'alaihim mim baininaa; alaisal laahu bi-a'lama bish shaakireen

وَإِذَا جَاۤءَكَ ٱلَّذِینَ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا فَقُلۡ سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَیۡكُمۡۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَةَ أَنَّهُۥ مَنۡ عَمِلَ مِنكُمۡ سُوۤءَۢا بِجَهَـٰلَةࣲ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ وَأَصۡلَحَ فَأَنَّهُۥ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ

اور ہماری آیتوں کو ماننے والے جب تیرے پاس آئیں تو کہہ دو کہ تم پر سلام ہے تمہارے رب نے اپنے ذمہ رحمت لازم کی ہےجو تم میں سے ناواقفیت سے برائی کرے پھر اس کے بعد توبہ کرے اور نیک ہو جائے تو بےشک وہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself - indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."

Wa izaa jaaa'akal lazeena yu'minoona bi Aayaatinaa faqul salaamun 'alaikum kataba Rabbukum 'alaa nafsihir rahmata annahoo man 'amila minkum sooo'am bijahaalatin summa taaba mim ba'dihee wa aslaha fa annahoo Ghafoorur Raheem

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ وَلِتَسۡتَبِینَ سَبِیلُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ

اور اسی طرح ہم آیتوں کو تفصیل سے بیان کرتے ہیں اور تاکہ گنہگاروں کا راستہ واضح ہو جائے

And thus do We detail the verses, and [thus] the way of the criminals will become evident.

Wa kazaalika nufassilul Aayaati wa litastabeena sabeelul mujrimeen

قُلۡ إِنِّی نُهِیتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱلَّذِینَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۚ قُل لَّاۤ أَتَّبِعُ أَهۡوَاۤءَكُمۡ قَدۡ ضَلَلۡتُ إِذࣰا وَمَاۤ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِینَ

کہہ دو مجھے منع کیا گیا ہے اس سے کہ میں بندگی کروں ان کی جنہیں تم الله کے سوا پکارتے ہو کہہ دو میں تمہاری خواہشات کے پیچھے نہیں چلتا کیوں کہ میں اس وقت گمراہ ہو جاؤں گا اور ہدایت پانے والوں میں سے نہ رہوں گا

Say, "Indeed, I have been forbidden to worship those you invoke besides Allah." Say, "I will not follow your desires, for I would then have gone astray, and I would not be of the [rightly] guided."

Qul innee nuheetu an a'budal lazeena tad'oona min doonil laah; qul laaa attabi'u ahwaaa'akum qad dalaltu izanw wa maaa ana minal muhtadeen

قُلۡ إِنِّی عَلَىٰ بَیِّنَةࣲ مِّن رَّبِّی وَكَذَّبۡتُم بِهِۦۚ مَا عِندِی مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ بِهِۦۤۚ إِنِ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِۖ یَقُصُّ ٱلۡحَقَّۖ وَهُوَ خَیۡرُ ٱلۡفَـٰصِلِینَ

کہہ دو میرے پاس تو میرے رب کی طرف سے ایک دلیل ہے اور تم اس کو جھٹلاتے ہو جس چیز کو تم جلدی چاہتے ہو وہ میرے پاس نہیں ہے الله کے سوا اور کسی کا حکم نہیں ہے وہ حق بیان کرتا ہے اور وہ بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے

Say, "Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you have denied it. I do not have that for which you are impatient. The decision is only for Allah. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders."

Qul innee 'alaa baiyinatim mir Rabbee wa kazzabtum bih; maa 'indee maa tasta'jiloona bih; inil hukmu illaa lillaahi yaqussul haqqa wa Huwa khairul faasileen

قُل لَّوۡ أَنَّ عِندِی مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ بِهِۦ لَقُضِیَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ بَیۡنِی وَبَیۡنَكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ

کہہ دو اگر میرے پاس وہ چیز ہوتی جس کی تم جلدی کر رہے ہو تو اس معاملہ میں فیصلہ ہوگیا ہو تا جو میرے اور تمہارے درمیان ہے اور الله ظالموں کو خوب جانتا ہے

Say, "If I had that for which you are impatient, the matter would have been decided between me and you, but Allah is most knowing of the wrongdoers."

Qul law anna 'indee maa tasta'jiloona bihee laqudiyal amru bainee wa bainakum; wallaahu a'lamu bizzaalimeen

۞ وَعِندَهُۥ مَفَاتِحُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ لَا یَعۡلَمُهَاۤ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَیَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۚ وَمَا تَسۡقُطُ مِن وَرَقَةٍ إِلَّا یَعۡلَمُهَا وَلَا حَبَّةࣲ فِی ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا رَطۡبࣲ وَلَا یَابِسٍ إِلَّا فِی كِتَـٰبࣲ مُّبِینࣲ

اور اسی کے پاس غیب کی کنجیاں ہیں جنہیں اس کےسوا کوئی نہیں جانتا جو کچھ جنگل اور دریا میں ہے وہ سب جانتا ہے اور کوئی پتہ نہیں گرتا مگر وہ اسے بھی جانتاہے اور کوئی دانہ زمین کے تاریک حصوں میں نہیں پڑتا اور نہ کوئی تر اور خشک چیز ہے مگر یہ سب کچھ کتاب روشن میں ہیں

And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.

Wa 'indahoo mafaatihul ghaibi laa ya'lamuhaaa illaa Hoo; wa ya'lamu maa fil barri walbahr; wa maa tasqutu minw waraqatin illaa ya'lamuhaa wa laa habbatin fee zulumaatil ardi wa laa ratbinw wa laa yaabisin illaa fee Kitaabim Mubeen

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی یَتَوَفَّىٰكُم بِٱلَّیۡلِ وَیَعۡلَمُ مَا جَرَحۡتُم بِٱلنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ یَبۡعَثُكُمۡ فِیهِ لِیُقۡضَىٰۤ أَجَلࣱ مُّسَمࣰّىۖ ثُمَّ إِلَیۡهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ ثُمَّ یُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

اور وہ وہی ہے جو تمہیں رات کو اپنے قبضے میں لے لیتا ہے اور جو کچھ تم دن میں کر چکے ہو وہ جانتا ہے پھر تمہیں دن میں اٹھا دیتا ہے تاکہ وہ وعدہ پورا ہو جو مقرر ہو چکا ہے پھر اسی کی طرف تم لوٹائے جاؤ گے پھر تمہیں خبر دے گا اس کی جو کچھ تم کرتے تھے

And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do.

Wa Huwal lazee yatawaf faakum billaili wa ya'lamu maa jarahtum binnahaari summa yab'asukum fee liyuqdaaa ajalum musamman summa ilaihi marji'ukum summa yunabbi 'ukum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon

وَهُوَ ٱلۡقَاهِرُ فَوۡقَ عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَیُرۡسِلُ عَلَیۡكُمۡ حَفَظَةً حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا جَاۤءَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ تَوَفَّتۡهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمۡ لَا یُفَرِّطُونَ

اور وہی اپنے بندوں پر غالب ہے اور تم پر نگہبان بھیجتا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب تم میں سے کسی کو موت آ پہنچتی ہے تو ہمارے بھیجے ہوئے فرشتے اسے قبضہ میں لے لیتے اور وہ ذرا کوتاہی نہیں کرتے

And He is the subjugator over His servants, and He sends over you guardian-angels until, when death comes to one of you, Our messengers take him, and they do not fail [in their duties].

Wa huwal qaahiru fawqa 'ibaadihee wa yursilu 'alaikum hafazatan hattaaa izaa jaaa'a ahadakumul mawtu tawaffathu rusulunaa wa hum laa yufarritoon

ثُمَّ رُدُّوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَوۡلَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡحَقِّۚ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ وَهُوَ أَسۡرَعُ ٱلۡحَـٰسِبِینَ

پھر الله کی طرف پہنچائیں جائیں گے جو ا نکا سچا مالک ہے خوب سن لو کہ فیصلہ الله ہی کا ہوگا اور بہت جلدی حساب لینے والا ہے

Then they His servants are returned to Allah, their true Lord. Unquestionably, His is the judgement, and He is the swiftest of accountants.

Summa ruddooo ilallaahi mawlaahumul haqq; alaa lahul hukmu wa Huwa asra'ul haasibeen

قُلۡ مَن یُنَجِّیكُم مِّن ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ تَدۡعُونَهُۥ تَضَرُّعࣰا وَخُفۡیَةࣰ لَّىِٕنۡ أَنجَىٰنَا مِنۡ هَـٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِینَ

کہہ دو تمہیں جنگل اور دریا کے اندھیروں سے کون بچا تا ہے جب اسے عاجزی سے اور چھپا کر پکارتے ہوکہ اگر ہمیں اس آفت سے بچا لے تو البتہ ہم ضرور شکر گزار کرنے والوں میں سے ہوں گے

Say, "Who rescues you from the darknesses of the land and sea [when] you call upon Him imploring [aloud] and privately, 'If He should save us from this [crisis], we will surely be among the thankful.' "

Qul mai yunajjeekum min zulumaatil barri walbahri tad'oonahoo tadarru'anw wa khufyatann la'in anjaanaa min haazihee lanakoonana minash shaakireen

قُلِ ٱللَّهُ یُنَجِّیكُم مِّنۡهَا وَمِن كُلِّ كَرۡبࣲ ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ تُشۡرِكُونَ

کہہ دو الله تمہیں اس سے اور ہر سختی سے بچا تا ہے تم پھر بھی شرک کرتے ہو

Say, "It is Allah who saves you from it and from every distress; then you [still] associate others with Him."

Qulil laahu yunajjjeekum minhaa wa min kulli karbin summa antum tushrikoon

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلۡقَادِرُ عَلَىٰۤ أَن یَبۡعَثَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ عَذَابࣰا مِّن فَوۡقِكُمۡ أَوۡ مِن تَحۡتِ أَرۡجُلِكُمۡ أَوۡ یَلۡبِسَكُمۡ شِیَعࣰا وَیُذِیقَ بَعۡضَكُم بَأۡسَ بَعۡضٍۗ ٱنظُرۡ كَیۡفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَفۡقَهُونَ

کہہ دو وہ اس پر قادر ہے کہ تم پر عذاب اوپر سے بھیجے یا تمہارے پاؤں کے نیچے سے یا تمہیں مختلف فرقے کر کے ٹکرا دے اور ایک کودوسرے کی لڑائی کا مزہ چکھا دے دیکھو ہم کس طرح مختلف طریقوں سے دلائل بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ سمجھ جائیں

Say, "He is the [one] Able to send upon you affliction from above you or from beneath your feet or to confuse you [so you become] sects and make you taste the violence of one another." Look how We diversify the signs that they might understand.

Qul huwal Qaadiru 'alaaa ai yab'asa 'alaikum 'azaabam min fawqikum aw min tahti arjulikum aw yalbisakum shiya'anw wa yuzeeqa ba'dakum baasa ba'd; unzur kaifa nusarriful Aayaati la'allahum yafqahoon

وَكَذَّبَ بِهِۦ قَوۡمُكَ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّۚ قُل لَّسۡتُ عَلَیۡكُم بِوَكِیلࣲ

اور تیری قوم نے اسے جھٹلایا ہے حالانکہ وہ حق ہے کہہ دو میں تمہارا ذمہ دار نہیں بنایا گیا

But your people have denied it while it is the truth. Say, "I am not over you a manager."

Wa kaz zaba bihee qawmuka wa huwal haqq; qul lastu'alaikum biwakeel

لِّكُلِّ نَبَإࣲ مُّسۡتَقَرࣱّۚ وَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

ہر خبر کے ظاہر ہونے کا ایک وقت مقرر ہے اور عنقریب جان لو گے

For every happening is a finality; and you are going to know.

Likulli naba im mustaqar runw wa sawfa ta'lamoon

وَإِذَا رَأَیۡتَ ٱلَّذِینَ یَخُوضُونَ فِیۤ ءَایَـٰتِنَا فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ یَخُوضُوا۟ فِی حَدِیثٍ غَیۡرِهِۦۚ وَإِمَّا یُنسِیَنَّكَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ فَلَا تَقۡعُدۡ بَعۡدَ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ

اور جب تو ان لوگو ں کو دیکھے جو ہماری آیتو ں میں جھگڑتے ہیں تو ان سے الگ ہو جا یہاں تک کہ کسی اور بات میں بحث کرنے لگیں اور اگر تجھے شیطان بھلا دے تو یاد آجانے کے بعد ظالموں کے پاس نہ بیٹھ

And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversation. And if Satan should cause you to forget, then do not remain after the reminder with the wrongdoing people.

Wa izaa ra aital lazeena yakhoodoona feee Aayaatinaa fa a'rid 'anhum hattaa yakkhoodoo fee hadeesin ghairih; wa immaa yunsiyannakash Shaitaanu falaa taq'ud ba'dazzikraa ma'al qawmiz zaalimeen

وَمَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ یَتَّقُونَ مِنۡ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَیۡءࣲ وَلَـٰكِن ذِكۡرَىٰ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَتَّقُونَ

اور جھگڑنے والوں کے حساب میں سے پرہیزگاروں کے ذمہ کوئی چیز نہیں لیکن نصیحت کرنی ہے شاید کہ وہ ڈر جائیں

And those who fear Allah are not held accountable for the disbelievers at all, but [only for] a reminder - that perhaps they will fear Him.

Wa maa 'alal lazeena yattaqoona min hisaabihim min shai'inw wa laakin zikraa la'allahum yattaqoon

وَذَرِ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ دِینَهُمۡ لَعِبࣰا وَلَهۡوࣰا وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۚ وَذَكِّرۡ بِهِۦۤ أَن تُبۡسَلَ نَفۡسُۢ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ لَیۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِیࣱّ وَلَا شَفِیعࣱ وَإِن تَعۡدِلۡ كُلَّ عَدۡلࣲ لَّا یُؤۡخَذۡ مِنۡهَاۤۗ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُبۡسِلُوا۟ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ۖ لَهُمۡ شَرَابࣱ مِّنۡ حَمِیمࣲ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِیمُۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَكۡفُرُونَ

اور انہیں چھوڑ دو جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو کھیل اور تماشا بنا رکھا ہے اور دنیاکی زندگی نے انہیں دھوکہ دیا ہے اور انہیں قرآن سے نصیحت کرتا تاکہ کوئی اپنے کیے میں گرفتار نہ ہو جائے کہ اس کے لیے الله کے سوا کوئی دوست اور سفارش کرنے والا نہ ہوگا اور اگر دنیا بھر کا معاوضہ بھی دے گا تب بھی اس سے نہ لیا جائے گا یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے کیے میں گرفتار ہوئے ان کے پینے کے لیے گرم پانی ہوگا اور ان کے کفر کے بدلہ میں دردناک عذاب ہو گا

And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Qur'an, lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allah no protector and no intercessor. And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve.

Wa zaril lazeenat takhazoo deenahum la'ibanwwa lahwanw wa gharrat humul ha yaatud dunyaa; wa zakkir biheee an tubsala nafsum bimaa kasabat laisa lahaa min doonil laahi waliyyunw wa laa shafee'unw wa in ta'dil kulla 'adlil laa yu'khaz minhaa; ulaaa 'ikal lazeena ubsiloo bimaa kasaboo lahum sharaabum min hameeminw wa 'azaabun aleemum bimaa kaanoo yakkfuroon

قُلۡ أَنَدۡعُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا یَنفَعُنَا وَلَا یَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَىٰۤ أَعۡقَابِنَا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ كَٱلَّذِی ٱسۡتَهۡوَتۡهُ ٱلشَّیَـٰطِینُ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ حَیۡرَانَ لَهُۥۤ أَصۡحَـٰبࣱ یَدۡعُونَهُۥۤ إِلَى ٱلۡهُدَى ٱئۡتِنَاۗ قُلۡ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰۖ وَأُمِرۡنَا لِنُسۡلِمَ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ

انہیں کہہ دوکہ کیا ہم الله کے سوا انہیں پکاریں جو ہمیں نہ نفع پہنچا سکیں اور نہ نقصان دے سکیں اور کیا ہم الٹے پاؤں پھر جائیں اس کے بعد کہ الله نے ہمیں سیدھی راہ دکھائی ہے اس شخص کی طرح جسےجنگل میں جنوں نے راستہ بھلا دیا ہو جب کہ وہ حیران ہو اس کے ساتھی اسے راستے کی طرف بلاتے ہوں کہ ہمارے پاس چلا آ کہہ دو الله نے جو راہ بتلائی وہی سیدھی ہے اور ہمیں حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ ہم پروردگار عالم کے تابع رہیں

Say, "Shall we invoke instead of Allah that which neither benefits us nor harms us and be turned back on our heels after Allah has guided us? [We would then be] like one whom the devils enticed [to wander] upon the earth confused, [while] he has companions inviting him to guidance, [calling], 'Come to us.' " Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance; and we have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds.

Qul anad'oo min doonil laahi maa laa yanfa'unaa wa laa yadurrunaa wa nuraddu 'alaaa a'qaabina ba'da iz hadaanal laahu kallazis tahwat hush Shayaateenu fil ardi hairaana lahooo ashaabuny yad'oo nahooo ilal huda' tinaa; qul inna hudal laahi huwal hudaa wa umirnaa linuslima li Rabbil 'aalameen

وَأَنۡ أَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّقُوهُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ إِلَیۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ

اور یہ کہ نماز قائم رکھو اور الله سے ڈرتے رہو وہی ہے جس کے سامنے اکھٹے کیے جاؤ گے

And to establish prayer and fear Him." And it is He to whom you will be gathered.

Wa an aqeemus Salaata wattaqooh; wa Hual lazeee ilaihi tuhsharoon

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ وَیَوۡمَ یَقُولُ كُن فَیَكُونُۚ قَوۡلُهُ ٱلۡحَقُّۚ وَلَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ یَوۡمَ یُنفَخُ فِی ٱلصُّورِۚ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ٱلۡخَبِیرُ

اور وہی ہے جس نے آسمانوں اورزمین کو ٹھیک طور پر بنایا ہے اور جس دن کہے گا کہ ہو جا تو وہ ہو جائے گا اس کی بات سچی ہے جس دن صورمیں پھونکا جائے گاتو اسی کی بادشاہی ہو گی چھپی اور ظاہر باتوں کا جاننے والا ہے اور وہی حکمت والا خبردار ہے

And it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day He says, "Be," and it is, His word is the truth. And His is the dominion [on] the Day the Horn is blown. [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed; and He is the Wise, the Acquainted.

Wa an Huwal lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda bilhaqq; wa Yawma yaqoolu kun fa yakoon; Qawluhul haqq; wa lahul mulku Yawma yunfakhu fis Soor; 'Aalimul Ghaibi wash shahaadah; wa Huwal Hakeemul Khabeer

۞ وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمُ لِأَبِیهِ ءَازَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصۡنَامًا ءَالِهَةً إِنِّیۤ أَرَىٰكَ وَقَوۡمَكَ فِی ضَلَـٰلࣲ مُّبِینࣲ

اور یاد کر جب ابراہیم نے اپنے باپ آزر سے کہا کیا بتوں کو خدا جانتاہے میں تجھے اور تیرے قوم کو صریح گمراہی میں دیکھتا ہوں

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father Azar, "Do you take idols as deities? Indeed, I see you and your people to be in manifest error."

Wa iz qaala Ibraaheemu li abeehi Aazara a-tattakhizu asnaaman aalihatan inneee araaka wa qawmaka fee dalaalim mmubeen

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نُرِیۤ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلِیَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُوقِنِینَ

اور ہم نے اسی طرح ابراھیم کو آسمانوں اور زمین کے عجائبات دکھائے ابور تاکہ وہ یقین کرنے والوں میں سے ہو جائے

And thus did We show Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth that he would be among the certain [in faith]

Wa kazaalika nureee Ibraaheema malakootas samaawaati wal ardi wa liyakoona minal mooqineen

فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَیۡهِ ٱلَّیۡلُ رَءَا كَوۡكَبࣰاۖ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّیۖ فَلَمَّاۤ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَاۤ أُحِبُّ ٱلۡـَٔافِلِینَ

پھر جب رات نے اس ہر اندھیرا کیا اس نے ایک ستارہ دیکھا کہا یہ میرا رب ہے پھر جب وہ غائب ہو گیا تو کہا میں غائب ہونے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا

So when the night covered him [with darkness], he saw a star. He said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "I like not those that disappear."

Falammaa janna 'alaihil lailu ra aa kawkabaan qaala haaza Rabbee falammaaa afala qaala laaa uhibbul aafileen

فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلۡقَمَرَ بَازِغࣰا قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّیۖ فَلَمَّاۤ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَىِٕن لَّمۡ یَهۡدِنِی رَبِّی لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلضَّاۤلِّینَ

پھر جب چاند کو چمکتا ہوا دیکھا کہا یہ میرا رب ہے پھر جب وہ غائب ہو گیا تو کہا اگر مجھے میرا رب ہدایت نہ کرے گا تو میں ضرور گمراہوں میں سے ہوجاؤں گا

And when he saw the moon rising, he said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among the people gone astray."

Falammmaa ra al qamara baazighan qaala haazaa Rabbee falammmmaaa afala qaala la'il lam yahdinee Rabbee la akoonanna minal qawmid daaalleen

فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ بَازِغَةࣰ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّی هَـٰذَاۤ أَكۡبَرُۖ فَلَمَّاۤ أَفَلَتۡ قَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّی بَرِیۤءࣱ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

پھر جب آفتاب کو چمکتاہوا دیکھا کہا یہی میرا رب ہے یہ سب سے بڑا ہے پھر جب وہ غائب ہو گیا کہا اے میری قوم میں ان سے بیزار ہوں جنہیں تم الله کا شریک بناتے ہو

And when he saw the sun rising, he said, "This is my lord; this is greater." But when it set, he said, "O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate with Allah.

Falammmaa ra ashshamsa baazighatan qaala haazaa Rabbee haazaaa akbaru falammaaa afalat qaala yaa qawmi innee bareee'um mimmaa tushrikoon

إِنِّی وَجَّهۡتُ وَجۡهِیَ لِلَّذِی فَطَرَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ حَنِیفࣰاۖ وَمَاۤ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ

سب سے یک سو ہو کر میں نے اپنے منہ کو اسی کی طرف متوجہ کیا جس نے آسمان اور زمین بنائی اور میں شرک کرنے والوں میں سے نہیں ہوں

Indeed, I have turned my face toward He who created the heavens and the earth, inclining toward truth, and I am not of those who associate others with Allah."

Innnee wajjahtu wajhiya lillazee fataras samaawaati wal arda haneefanw wa maaa ana minal mushrikeen

وَحَاۤجَّهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥۚ قَالَ أَتُحَـٰۤجُّوۤنِّی فِی ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنِۚ وَلَاۤ أَخَافُ مَا تُشۡرِكُونَ بِهِۦۤ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَشَاۤءَ رَبِّی شَیۡـࣰٔاۚ وَسِعَ رَبِّی كُلَّ شَیۡءٍ عِلۡمًاۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

اور اس کی قوم نے اس سے جھگڑا کیا اس نے کہا کیا تم مجھ سے الله کے ایک ہونے میں جھگڑتے ہو اور اس نے میری رہنمائی کی ہے اور جنہیں تم شریک کرتے ہو میں ان سے نہیں ڈرتا مگر یہ کہ میرا رب مجھے کوئی تکلیف پہنچانا چاہے میرے رب نے علم کے لحاظ سے سب چیزوں پر احاطہ کیا ہوا ہے کیا تم سوچتے نہیں

And his people argued with him. He said, "Do you argue with me concerning Allah while He has guided me? And I fear not what you associate with Him [and will not be harmed] unless my Lord should will something. My Lord encompasses all things in knowledge; then will you not remember?

Wa haaajjahoo qawmuh; qaala a-tuh aaajjooonnnee fillaahi wa qad hadaan; wa laaa akhaafu mmaa tushrikoona bihee illaaa ai yashaaa'a Rabbee shai'anw wasi'a Rabbee kulla shai'in 'ilman afalaa tatazakkaroon

وَكَیۡفَ أَخَافُ مَاۤ أَشۡرَكۡتُمۡ وَلَا تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمۡ أَشۡرَكۡتُم بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ یُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ عَلَیۡكُمۡ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰاۚ فَأَیُّ ٱلۡفَرِیقَیۡنِ أَحَقُّ بِٱلۡأَمۡنِۖ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

اور تمہارے شریکوں سے کیوں ڈروں حالانکہ تم اس بات سے نہیں ڑرتے کہ الله کا شریک ٹھیراتے ہو اس چیز کو جس کی الله نے تم پر کوئی دلیل نہیں اتاری اگر تم کو کچھ سمجھ ہے تو (بتاؤ) دونوں جماعتوں میں سے امن کا زیادہ مستحق کون ہے

And how should I fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with Allah that for which He has not sent down to you any authority? So which of the two parties has more right to security, if you should know?

Wa kaifa akhaafu maaa ashraktum wa laa takhaafoona annakum ashraktum billaahi maa lam yunazzil bihee 'alaikum sultaanaa; fa aiyul fareeqaini ahaqqu bil amni in kuntum ta'lamoon

ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَمۡ یَلۡبِسُوۤا۟ إِیمَـٰنَهُم بِظُلۡمٍ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡنُ وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ

جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے اپنے ایمان میں شرک نہیں ملایا امن انہیں کے لیے ہے اور وہی راہ راست پر ہیں

They who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice - those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided.

Allazeena aamanoo wa lam yalbisooo eemaanahum bizulmin ulaaa'ika lahumul amnu wa hum muhtadoon

وَتِلۡكَ حُجَّتُنَاۤ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهَاۤ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦۚ نَرۡفَعُ دَرَجَـٰتࣲ مَّن نَّشَاۤءُۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِیمٌ عَلِیمࣱ

اور یہ ہماری دلیل ہے کہ ہم نے ابراہیم کو اس کی قوم کے مقابلہ میں دی تھی ہم جس کے چاہیں درجے بلند کرتے ہیں بے شک تیرا رب حکمت والا جاننے والا ہے

And that was Our [conclusive] argument which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.

Wa tilka hujjatunaaa aatainaahaaa Ibraaheema 'alaa qawmih; narfa'u darajaatim man nashaaa'; inna Rabbaka Hakeemun 'Aleem

وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥۤ إِسۡحَـٰقَ وَیَعۡقُوبَۚ كُلًّا هَدَیۡنَاۚ وَنُوحًا هَدَیۡنَا مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَمِن ذُرِّیَّتِهِۦ دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَیۡمَـٰنَ وَأَیُّوبَ وَیُوسُفَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَۚ وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نَجۡزِی ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ

اور ہم نے ابراھیم کو اسحاق اور یعقوب بخشا ہم نے سب کو ہدایت دی اور اس سے پہلے ہم نے نوح کو ہدایت دی اور اس کی اولاد میں سے داؤد اور سلیمان اور ایوب اور یوسف اور موسیٰ اور ہارون ہیں اور اسی طرح ہم نیکو کاروں کو بدلہ دیتے ہیں

And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.

Wa wahabnaa lahoo ishaaqa wa ya'qoob; kullan hadainaa; wa Noohan hadainaa min qablu wa min zurriyyatihee Daawooda wa Sulaimaana wa Ayyooba wa Yoosufa wa Moosaa wa haaroon; wa kazaalika najzil muhsineen

وَزَكَرِیَّا وَیَحۡیَىٰ وَعِیسَىٰ وَإِلۡیَاسَۖ كُلࣱّ مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَ

اور زکریا اور یحییٰ اور عیسیٰ اور الیاس سب نیکو کاروں سے ہیں

And Zechariah and John and Jesus and Elias - and all were of the righteous.

Wa Zakariyyaa wa Yahyaa wa 'Eesaa wa Illyaasa kullum minas saaliheen

وَإِسۡمَـٰعِیلَ وَٱلۡیَسَعَ وَیُونُسَ وَلُوطࣰاۚ وَكُلࣰّا فَضَّلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ

اور اسماعیل اورالیسع اوریونس اور لوط او رہم نے سب کو سارے جہان والوں پر بزرگی دی

And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot - and all [of them] We preferred over the worlds.

Wa Ismaa'eela wal Yasa'a wa Yoonusa wa Lootaa; wa kullan faddalnaa 'alal 'aalameen

وَمِنۡ ءَابَاۤىِٕهِمۡ وَذُرِّیَّـٰتِهِمۡ وَإِخۡوَ ٰ⁠نِهِمۡۖ وَٱجۡتَبَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ وَهَدَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰ⁠طࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ

اور ان کے باپ دادوں اور ان کی اولاد اور ان کے بھائیوں میں سے بعضوں کو ہم نے ہدایت دی اور ہم نے انہیں پسند کیا اور سیدھی راہ پر چلایا

And [some] among their fathers and their descendants and their brothers - and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path.

Wa min aabaaa'ihim wa zurriyyaatihim wa ikhwaanihim wajtabainaahum wa hadainaahum ilaa Siraatim Mustaqeem

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ یَهۡدِی بِهِۦ مَن یَشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَلَوۡ أَشۡرَكُوا۟ لَحَبِطَ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ

یہ الله کی ہدایت ہے اپنے بندوں کو جسے چاہے اس پر چلاتا ہے اور اگر یہ لوگ شرک کرتے تو البتہ جو کچھ انہوں نے کیا تھا سب کچھ ضائع ہو جاتا

That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whomever He wills of His servants. But if they had associated others with Allah, then worthless for them would be whatever they were doing.

Zaalika hudal laahi yahdee bihee mai yashaaa'u min 'ibaadih; wa law ashrakoo lahabita 'anhum maa kaanoo ya'maloon

أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَۚ فَإِن یَكۡفُرۡ بِهَا هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ فَقَدۡ وَكَّلۡنَا بِهَا قَوۡمࣰا لَّیۡسُوا۟ بِهَا بِكَـٰفِرِینَ

یہی لوگ تھے جنہیں ہم نے کتاب اور شریعت اور نبوت دی تھی پھر اگر مکہ والے ان باتو ں کو نہ مانیں تو ہم نے ان باتو ں کے ماننے کے لیے ایسے لوگ مقرر کر دیے جوان کے منکر نہیں ہیں

Those are the ones to whom We gave the Scripture and authority and prophethood. But if the disbelievers deny it, then We have entrusted it to a people who are not therein disbelievers.

Ulaaa'ikal lazeena aatainaahumul Kitaaba wal hukma wan Nubuwwah; fa iny yakfur bihaa haaa'ulaaa'i faqad wakkalnaa bihaa qawmal laisoo bihaa bikaafireen

أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُۖ فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ ٱقۡتَدِهۡۗ قُل لَّاۤ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَیۡهِ أَجۡرًاۖ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ

یہ وہ لوگ تھے جنہیں الله نے ہدایت دی سو تو ان کے طریقہ پر چل کہہ دو میں تم سے اس پر کوئی مزدوری نہیں مانگتا یہ تو جہان والوں کے لیے محض نصیحت ہے

Those are the ones whom Allah has guided, so from their guidance take an example. Say, "I ask of you for this message no payment. It is not but a reminder for the worlds."

Ulaaa'ikal lazeena hadal laahu fabihudaahumuq tadih; qul laaa as'alukum 'alaihi ajran in huwa illaa zikraa lil 'aalameen

وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِهِۦۤ إِذۡ قَالُوا۟ مَاۤ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرࣲ مِّن شَیۡءࣲۗ قُلۡ مَنۡ أَنزَلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ ٱلَّذِی جَاۤءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورࣰا وَهُدࣰى لِّلنَّاسِۖ تَجۡعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِیسَ تُبۡدُونَهَا وَتُخۡفُونَ كَثِیرࣰاۖ وَعُلِّمۡتُم مَّا لَمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنتُمۡ وَلَاۤ ءَابَاۤؤُكُمۡۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ ثُمَّ ذَرۡهُمۡ فِی خَوۡضِهِمۡ یَلۡعَبُونَ

اور انہوں نے الله کو صحیح طور پر نہیں پہچانا جب انہوں نے کہا الله نے کسی انسان پر کوئی چیز نہیں اتاری تھی جو لوگو ں کے واسطے روشنی اور ہدایت تھی جسے تم نے ورق ورق کر کےد کھلا یا اوربہت سی باتو ں کو چھپا رکھا اور تمہیں وہ چیزیں سکھائیں جنہیں تم اور تمہارے باپ دااد نہیں جانتے تھے تو کہہ دو الله ہی نے اتاری تھی پھرانہیں چھوڑ دو کہ اپنی بحث میں کھیلتے رہیں

And they did not appraise Allah with true appraisal when they said, "Allah did not reveal to a human being anything." Say, "Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you were taught that which you knew not - neither you nor your fathers." Say, "Allah [revealed it]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves.

Wa maa qadarul laaha haqqa qadriheee iz qaaloo maaa anzalal laahu 'alaa basharim min shai'; qul man anzalal Kitaabal lazee jaaa'a bihee Moosaa nooranw wa hudal linnaasi taj'aloonahoo qaraateesa tubdoonahaa wa tukhfoona kaseeranw wa 'ullimtum maa lam ta'lamooo antum wa laaa aabaaa'ukum qulil laahu summa zarhum fee khawdihim yal'aboon

وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ مُبَارَكࣱ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِی بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَاۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۖ وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ یُحَافِظُونَ

اور یہ کتاب جسے ہم نے اتارا ہےبرکت والی ہے ان کی تصدیق کرنے والی ہے جو اس سے پہلے تھیں اور تاکہ تو مکہ والوں کو اور اس کے آس پاس والوں کو ڈرائے اور جو لوگ آخرت پر یقین رکھتے ہیں وہی اس پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور وہی اپنی نماز کی حفاظت کرتے ہیں

And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers.

Wa haazaa Kitaabun anzalnaahu Mubaarakum musaddiqul lazee bainaa yadaihi wa litunzira ummal Quraa wa man hawlahaa; wallazeena yu'minoona bil Aakhirati yu'minoona bihee wa hum'alaa Salaatihim yuhaafizoon

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ قَالَ أُوحِیَ إِلَیَّ وَلَمۡ یُوحَ إِلَیۡهِ شَیۡءࣱ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثۡلَ مَاۤ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُۗ وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰۤ إِذِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ فِی غَمَرَ ٰ⁠تِ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ بَاسِطُوۤا۟ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ أَخۡرِجُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَكُمُۖ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ عَذَابَ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ غَیۡرَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَكُنتُمۡ عَنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

اور اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون ہو گا جو الله پربہتان باندھے یا یہ کہے کہ مجھ پر وحی نازل ہوئی ہے حالانکہ اس پر وحی نہ اتری ہو اور جو کہے میں بھی ایسی چیز اتار سکتا ہوں جیسی کہ الله نے اتاری ہے اور اگر تو دیکھے جس وقت ظالم موت کی سختیوں میں ہوں گے اور فرشتے اپنے ہاتھ بڑھانے والےہوں گے کہ اپنی جانوں کو نکالو آج تمہیں ذلت کا عذاب ملے گا اس سبب سے کہ تم الله پر جھوٹی باتیں کہتے تھے اور اس کی آیتوں کے ماننے سے تکبر کرتے تھے

And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant."

Wa man azlamu mimmanif taraa 'alal laahi kaziban aw qaala oohiya ilaiya wa lam yooha ilaihi shai'un wa man qaala sa unzilu misla maaa anzalal laah; wa law taraaa iziz zaalimoona fee ghamaraatil mawti walmalaaa'ikatu baasitooo aideehim akhrijooo anfusakum; al yawma tujzawna 'azaabal hooni bimaa kuntum taqooloona 'alal laahi ghairal haqqi wa kuntum 'an aayaatihee tastakbiroon

وَلَقَدۡ جِئۡتُمُونَا فُرَ ٰ⁠دَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقۡنَـٰكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةࣲ وَتَرَكۡتُم مَّا خَوَّلۡنَـٰكُمۡ وَرَاۤءَ ظُهُورِكُمۡۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمۡ شُفَعَاۤءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ فِیكُمۡ شُرَكَـٰۤؤُا۟ۚ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَیۡنَكُمۡ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ

اور البتہ تم ہمارے پاس ایک ایک ہو کر آ گئے ہو جس طرح ہم نے تمہیں پہلی دفعہ پیدا کیا تھا اور جو کچھ ہم نے تمہیں دیا تھا وہ اپنے پیچھے ہی چھوڑ آئے ہو اور تمہارے ساتھ ان کی سفارش کرنے والوں کو نہیں دیکھتے جنہیں تم خیال کرتے تھے کہ وہ تمہارے معاملےمیں شریک ہیں تمہارا آپس میں قطع تعلق ہو گیا ہے اور جو تم خیال کرتے تھے وہ سب جاتا رہا

[It will be said to them], "And you have certainly come to Us alone as We created you the first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed upon you behind you. And We do not see with you your 'intercessors' which you claimed that they were among you associates [of Allah]. It has [all] been severed between you, and lost from you is what you used to claim."

Wa laqad ji'tumoonaa furaadaa kamaa khalaqnaakum awwala marratinw wa taraktum maa khawwalnaakum waraaa'a zuhoorikum wa maa naraa ma'akum shufa'aaa' akumul lazeena za'amtum annahum feekum shurakaaa'; laqat taqatta'a bainakum wa dalla 'annkum maa kuntum taz'umoon

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَالِقُ ٱلۡحَبِّ وَٱلنَّوَىٰۖ یُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَیَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَیِّتِ وَمُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَیِّتِ مِنَ ٱلۡحَیِّۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ

بے شک الله دانے اور گٹھلی کا پھاڑنے والا ہے مردہ سے زندہ کو نکالتا ہے اور زندہ سے مردہ نکالنے والا ہے الله یہی ہے پھر کدھر الٹے پھرے جا رہے ہو

Indeed, Allah is the cleaver of grain and date seeds. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allah; so how are you deluded?

Innal laaha faaliqul habbi wannawaa yukhrijul haiya minal maiyiti wa mukhrijul maiyiti minal haiy; zaalikumul laahu fa annaa tu'fakoon

فَالِقُ ٱلۡإِصۡبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّیۡلَ سَكَنࣰا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ حُسۡبَانࣰاۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ تَقۡدِیرُ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡعَلِیمِ

وہ صبح کا نکالنے والا ہے اور اس نے آرام کے لیے رات بنائی اسی نے چاند اور سورج کا حساب مقرر کیا ہے یہ غالب جاننے والے کا اندازہ ہے

[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

Faaliqul isbaahi wa ja'alal laila sakananw washh shamsa walqamara husbaanaa; zaalika taqdeerul 'Azeezil 'Aleem

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهۡتَدُوا۟ بِهَا فِی ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ لِقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡلَمُونَ

اور اسی نے تمہارے لیے ستارے بنائے ہیں تاکہ ان کے ذریعے سے جنگل اوردریا کےاندھیروں میں راستہ معلوم کر سکو تحقیق ہم نے کھول کر نشانیاں بیان کر دی ہیں ان لوگو ں کے لیے جو جانتے ہیں

And it is He who placed for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darknesses of the land and sea. We have detailed the signs for a people who know.

Wa Huwal lazee ja'ala lakumun nujooma litahtadoo bihaa fee zulumaatil barri walbahr; qad fassalnal Aayaati liqawminy ya'lamoon

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسࣲ وَ ٰ⁠حِدَةࣲ فَمُسۡتَقَرࣱّ وَمُسۡتَوۡدَعࣱۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ لِقَوۡمࣲ یَفۡقَهُونَ

اور الله وہی ہے جس نے ایک شخص سے تم سب کو پیدا کیا پھر ایک تو تمہارا ٹھکانا ہے اور ایک امانت رکھے جانےکی جگہ تحقحق ہم نے کھول کر نشانیاں بیان کر دی ہیں ان کے لیے جو سوچتے ہیں

And it is He who produced you from one soul and [gave you] a place of dwelling and of storage. We have detailed the signs for a people who understand.

Wa hhuwal lazeee ansha akum min nasinw waahidatin famustaqarrunw wa mustawda'; qad fassalnal Aayaati liqaw miny-yafqahoon

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهُ خَضِرࣰا نُّخۡرِجُ مِنۡهُ حَبࣰّا مُّتَرَاكِبࣰا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخۡلِ مِن طَلۡعِهَا قِنۡوَانࣱ دَانِیَةࣱ وَجَنَّـٰتࣲ مِّنۡ أَعۡنَابࣲ وَٱلزَّیۡتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشۡتَبِهࣰا وَغَیۡرَ مُتَشَـٰبِهٍۗ ٱنظُرُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦۤ إِذَاۤ أَثۡمَرَ وَیَنۡعِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمۡ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یُؤۡمِنُونَ

اور اسی نے آسمان سے پانی اتارا پھر ہم نے اس سے ہر چیز اگنے والی نکالی پھر ہم نے اس سے سبز کھیتی نکالی جس سے ہم ایک دوسرے پرچڑھے ہوئے دانے نکالتے ہیں اور کھجور کے شگوفوں میں سے پھل کے جھکے ہوئے گچھے اور انگور اور زیتون اور انار کے باغ آپس میں ملتے جلتے اور جدا جدا بھی ہر ایک درخت کے پھل کو دیکھو جب وہ پھل لاتا ہے اور اس کے پکنے کو دیکھو ان چیزوں میں ایمان والوں کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں

And it is He who sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby the growth of all things. We produce from it greenery from which We produce grains arranged in layers. And from the palm trees - of its emerging fruit are clusters hanging low. And [We produce] gardens of grapevines and olives and pomegranates, similar yet varied. Look at [each of] its fruit when it yields and [at] its ripening. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.

Wa Huwal lazeee anzala minas samaaa'i maaa'an fa akhrajnaa bihee nabaata kulli shai'in fa akhrajnaa minhu khadiran nukhriju minhu habbam mutaraakibanw wa minan nakhli min tal'ihaa qinwaanun daaniyatunw wa jannaatim min a'naabinw wazzaitoona warrummaana mushhtabihanw wa ghaira mutashaabih; unzurooo ilaa samariheee izaaa asmars wa yan'ih; inna fee zaalikum la Aayaatil liqawminy yu'minoon

وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاۤءَ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمۡۖ وَخَرَقُوا۟ لَهُۥ بَنِینَ وَبَنَـٰتِۭ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا یَصِفُونَ

اور اللہ کے شریک جنوں کو ٹھیراتے ہیں حالانکہ اس نے انہیں پیدا کیا ہے اور جہالت سے اس کے لیے بیٹے اور بیٹیاں تجویز کرتے ہیں وہ پاک ہے اور ان باتوں سے بھی بلند ہے جو وہ بیان کرتے ہیں

But they have attributed to Allah partners - the jinn, while He has created them - and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters. Exalted is He and high above what they describe

Wa ja'aloo lillaahi shurakaaa'al jinna wa khalaqa hum wa kharaqoo lahoo baneena wa banaatim bighairi 'ilm Subhaanahoo wa Ta'aalaa 'amma yasifoon

بَدِیعُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ أَنَّىٰ یَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدࣱ وَلَمۡ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَـٰحِبَةࣱۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَیۡءࣲۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمࣱ

آسمانوں اور زمین کو از سر نو پیدا کرنے والا ہے اس کا بیٹا کیوں کر ہو سکتا ہے حالانکہ اس کی کوئی بیوی نہیں اور اس نے ہر چیز کو بنایاہے اور وہ ہر چیز کو جاننے والا ہے

[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.

Badee'us samaawaati wal ardi annnaa yakoonu lahoo waladunw wa lam takul lahoo saahibatunw wa khalaqa kulla shai'in 'Aleem

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡۖ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ خَـٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَكِیلࣱ

یہی اللہ تمہارا رب ہے اس کے سوائے اورکوئی معبود نہیں ہر چیز کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے پس اسی کی عبادت کرو اور وہ ہر چیز کا کا رساز ہے

That is Allah, your Lord; there is no deity except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is Disposer of all things.

Zaalikumul laahu Rabbukum laaa ilaaha illaa huwa khaaliqu kulli shai'in fa'budooh; wa huwa 'alaa kulli shai'inw Wakeel

لَّا تُدۡرِكُهُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرُ وَهُوَ یُدۡرِكُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرَۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِیفُ ٱلۡخَبِیرُ

اسے آنکھیں نہیں دیکھ سکتیں اور وہ آنکھوں کو دیکھ سکتا ہے اوثر وہ نہایت باریک بین خبردار ہے

Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives [all] vision; and He is the Subtle, the Acquainted.

Laa tudrikuhul absaaru wa Huwa yudrikul absaara wa huwal Lateeful Khabeer

قَدۡ جَاۤءَكُم بَصَاۤىِٕرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ فَمَنۡ أَبۡصَرَ فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِیَ فَعَلَیۡهَاۚ وَمَاۤ أَنَا۠ عَلَیۡكُم بِحَفِیظࣲ

تحقیق تمہارے ہاں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے نشانیاں آ چکی ہیں پھر جس نے دیکھ لیا تو خود ہی نفع اٹھایا اور جو اندھا رہا سو اپنا نقصان کیا اور میں تمہارا نگہبان نہیں ہوں

There has come to you enlightenment from your Lord. So whoever will see does so for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever is blind [does harm] against it. And [say], "I am not a guardian over you."

Qad jaaa'akum basaaa'iru mir Rabbikum faman absara falinafsihee wa man 'amiya fa'alaihaa; wa maaa ana 'alaikum bihafeez

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ وَلِیَقُولُوا۟ دَرَسۡتَ وَلِنُبَیِّنَهُۥ لِقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡلَمُونَ

اور اسی طرح ہم مختلف طریقوں سے دلائل بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ کہیں کہ تو نے کسی سے پڑھا ہے اور تاکہ ہم سمجھداروں کے لیے واضح کر دیں

And thus do We diversify the verses so the disbelievers will say, "You have studied," and so We may make the Qur'an clear for a people who know.

Wa kazaalika nusarriful Aayaati wa liyaqooloo darasta wa linubaiyinahoo liqawminy ya'lamoon

ٱتَّبِعۡ مَاۤ أُوحِیَ إِلَیۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَۖ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ

تو اس کی تابعداری کر جو تیرےرب کی طرف سے وحی کی گئی ہے اس کے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں اور مشرکوں سے منہ پھیرے

Follow, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you from your Lord - there is no deity except Him - and turn away from those who associate others with Allah.

ittabi' maaa oohiya ilaika mir Rabbika laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa wa a'rid 'anil mushrikeen

وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ مَاۤ أَشۡرَكُوا۟ۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَـٰكَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ حَفِیظࣰاۖ وَمَاۤ أَنتَ عَلَیۡهِم بِوَكِیلࣲ

اور اگر الله چاہتا تو وہ شرک نہ کرتے اور ہم نے تجھے ا ن پر نگہبان نہیں بنایا اور تو ان کا ذمہ دار نہیں ہے

But if Allah had willed, they would not have associated. And We have not appointed you over them as a guardian, nor are you a manager over them.

Wa law shaaa'al laahu maaa ashrakoo; wa maa ja'alnaaka 'alaihim hafeezanw wa maaa anta 'alaihim biwakeel

وَلَا تَسُبُّوا۟ ٱلَّذِینَ یَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَیَسُبُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَدۡوَۢا بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲۗ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ زَیَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمۡ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرۡجِعُهُمۡ فَیُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ

اور جن کی یہ الله کے سوا پرستش کر تےہیں انہیں برا نہ کہوورنہ وہ بے سمجھی سے زیادتی کرکے الله کو برا کہیں گے اس طرح ہر ایک جماعت کی نظر میں ان کے اعمال کوہم نے آراستہ کر دیا ہے پھر ان سب کو اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹ کر آنا ہے تب وہ انہیں بتلائے گا جو کچھ کیا کرتے تھے

And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.

Wa laa tasubbul lazeena yad'oona min doonil laahi fa yasubbul laaha 'adwam bighairi 'ilm; kazaalika zaiyannaa likulli ummatin 'amalahum summa ilaa Rabbihim marji'uhum fa yunabbi'uhum bimaa kaanooya'maloon

وَأَقۡسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَیۡمَـٰنِهِمۡ لَىِٕن جَاۤءَتۡهُمۡ ءَایَةࣱ لَّیُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِهَاۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَا یُشۡعِرُكُمۡ أَنَّهَاۤ إِذَا جَاۤءَتۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ

اور وہ الله کے نام کی پکی قسمیں کھاتے ہیں کہ اگر ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی آئے تو اس پر ضرور ایمان لاویں گے ان سے کہہ دو کہ نشانیاں تو اللہ کے ہاں ہیں اور تمہیں اے مسلمانو کیا خبر ہے کہ جب نشانیاں آہیں گی تو یہ لوگ ایمان لے ہی آئیں گے

And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that if a sign came to them, they would surely believe in it. Say, "The signs are only with Allah." And what will make you perceive that even if a sign came, they would not believe.

Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aimaanihim la'in jaaa'at hum Aayatul la yu'minunna bihaa; qul innamal Aayaatu 'indal laahi wa maa yush'irukum annahaaa izaa jaaa'at laa yu'minoon

وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفۡـِٔدَتَهُمۡ وَأَبۡصَـٰرَهُمۡ كَمَا لَمۡ یُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦۤ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةࣲ وَنَذَرُهُمۡ فِی طُغۡیَـٰنِهِمۡ یَعۡمَهُونَ

اور ہم بھی ان کے دلوں کو اور ان کی نگاہوں کو پھیر دیں گے جس طرح یہ اس پر پہلی دفعہ ایمان نہیں لاتے اور ہم انہیں ان کی سرکشی میں حیران رہنے دیں گے

And We will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first time. And We will leave them in their transgression, wandering blindly.

Wa nuqallibu af'idatahum wa absaarahum kamaa lam yu'minoo biheee awwala marratinw wa wa nazaruhum fee tughyaanihim ya'mahoon

۞ وَلَوۡ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَحَشَرۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ كُلَّ شَیۡءࣲ قُبُلࣰا مَّا كَانُوا۟ لِیُؤۡمِنُوۤا۟ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَشَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ یَجۡهَلُونَ

اور اگر ہم ان پر فرشتے بھی اتار دیں اور ان سے مردے باتیں بھی کریں اور ان کے سامنے ہم ہر چیز کو زندہ بھی کر دیں تو بھی یہ لوگ ایمان لانے والے نہیں مگر یہ کہ الله چاہے لیکن اکثر ان میں سے جاہل ہیں

And even if We had sent down to them the angels [with the message] and the dead spoke to them [of it] and We gathered together every [created] thing in front of them, they would not believe unless Allah should will. But most of them, [of that], are ignorant.

Wa law annanaa nazzal naaa ilaihimul malaaa'ikata wa kallamahumul mawtaa wa hasharnaa 'alaihim kulla shai'in qubulam maa kaanoo liyu'minooo illaaa ai yashaaa'al laahu wa laakinna aksarahum yajhaloon

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ جَعَلۡنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِیٍّ عَدُوࣰّا شَیَـٰطِینَ ٱلۡإِنسِ وَٱلۡجِنِّ یُوحِی بَعۡضُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ زُخۡرُفَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ غُرُورࣰاۚ وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُۖ فَذَرۡهُمۡ وَمَا یَفۡتَرُونَ

اور اسی طرح ہم نے ہر نبی کے لیے شریر آدمیوں اور جنوں کو دشمن بنایا جو کہ ایک دوسرے کو طمع کرہوئی باتیں فریب دینے کے لیے سکھاتے ہیں اور اگر تیرا رب چاہتا تو یہ کام نہ کرتے سو تو انہیں اور جوجھوٹ بناتے ہیں اسے چھوڑ دے

And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy - devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.

Wa kazaalika ja'alnaa likulli nabiyyin 'aduwwan Shayaateenal insi waljinni yoohee ba'duhum ilaa ba'din zukhrufal qawli ghurooraa; wa law shaaa'a Rabbuka maa fa'aloohu fazarhum wa maa yaftaroon

وَلِتَصۡغَىٰۤ إِلَیۡهِ أَفۡـِٔدَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ وَلِیَرۡضَوۡهُ وَلِیَقۡتَرِفُوا۟ مَا هُم مُّقۡتَرِفُونَ

اور تاکہ ان طمع کی ہوئی باتوں کی طرف ان لوگوں کے دل مائل ہوں جنہیں آخرت پر یقین نہیں اور تاکہ وہ لوگ ان باتو ں کو پسند کریں اور تاکہ وہ کریں جو برے کام وہ کر رہے ہیں

And [it is] so the hearts of those who disbelieve in the Hereafter will incline toward it and that they will be satisfied with it and that they will commit that which they are committing.

Wa litasghaaa ilaihi af'idatul lazeena laa yu'minoona bil Aakhirati wa liyardawhu wa liyaqtarifoo maa hum muqtarifoon

أَفَغَیۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡتَغِی حَكَمࣰا وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنزَلَ إِلَیۡكُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ مُفَصَّلࣰاۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ یَعۡلَمُونَ أَنَّهُۥ مُنَزَّلࣱ مِّن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُمۡتَرِینَ

کیا میں الله کےسوا اور کسی کو منصف بناؤں حالانکہ اس نے تمہاری طرف ایک واضح کتاب اتاری ہے اور جنہیں ہم نے کتاب دی ہے وہ جانتے ہیں کہ یہ ٹھیک تیرے رب کی طرف سے نازل ہوئی ہے پس تو شک کرنے والوں میں سے نہ ہو

[Say], "Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge while it is He who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail?" And those to whom We [previously] gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters.

Afaghairal laahi abtaghee hakamanw wa Huwal lazee anzala ilaikumul Kitaaba mufassalaa; wallazeena atai naahumul Kitaaba ya'lamoona annahoo munazzalum mir Rabbika bilhaqqi falaa takoonanna minal mumtareen

وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدۡقࣰا وَعَدۡلࣰاۚ لَّا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِیعُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ

اور تیرے رب کی باتیں سچائی اور انصاف کی انتہائی حد تک پہنچی ہوئی ہیں اس کی باتو ں کو کوئی بدل نہیں سکتا اور وہ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے

And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

Wa tammat Kalimatu Rabbika sidqanw wa 'adlaa; laa mubaddila li Kalimaatih; wa Huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem

وَإِن تُطِعۡ أَكۡثَرَ مَن فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ یُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِن یَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا یَخۡرُصُونَ

اور اگر تو کہا مانے گا اکثر ان لوگو ں کا جو دنیا میں ہیں تو تجھے الله کی راہ سے ہٹا دیں گے وہ تو اپنے خیال پر چلتے اور قیاس آرائیاں کرتے ہیں

And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying.

Wa in tuti' aksara man fil ardi yudillooka 'an sabeelil laah; iny yattabi'oona illaz zanna wa in hum illaa yakhrusoon

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ مَن یَضِلُّ عَن سَبِیلِهِۦۖ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِینَ

تیرا رب خوب جانتا ہے اسے جو اس کے راہ سے ہٹ جاتا ہے اور سیدھے راستہ پر چلنے والوں کو بھی خوب جانتا ہے

Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.

Inna rabbaka Huwa a'lamu mai yadillu 'an sabeelihee wa Huwa a'lamu bilmuhtadeen

فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡهِ إِن كُنتُم بِـَٔایَـٰتِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنِینَ

سو تم اس جانوروں میں سے کھاؤ جس پر الله کا نام لیا گیا ہے اگر تم اس کے حکموں پر ایمان لانے والے ہو

So eat of that [meat] upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses.

Fakuloo mimmmaa zukirasmul laahi 'alaihi in kuntum bi Aayaatihee mu'mineen

وَمَا لَكُمۡ أَلَّا تَأۡكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡهِ وَقَدۡ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ إِلَّا مَا ٱضۡطُرِرۡتُمۡ إِلَیۡهِۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِیرࣰا لَّیُضِلُّونَ بِأَهۡوَاۤىِٕهِم بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُعۡتَدِینَ

کیا وجہ ہے کہ تم وہ چیز نہ کھاؤ جس پر الله کا نام لیا گیا ہو حالانکہ وہ واضح کر چکا ہے جو کچھ اس نے تم پر حرام کیا ہے ہاں مگر وہ چیز جس کی طرف تم مجبور ہو جاؤ اوربہت سے لوگ بےعلمی کے باعث اپنے خیالات کے باعث اپنے خیالات کی بناء پر لوگو ں کو بہکاتے ہیں تیرا رب حد سے بڑھنے والوں کو خوب جانتا ہے

And why should you not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned while He has explained in detail to you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled. And indeed do many lead [others] astray through their [own] inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord - He is most knowing of the transgressors.

Wa maa lakum allaa taakuloo mimmaa zukirasmul laahi 'alaihi wa qad fassala lakum maa harrama 'alaikum illaa mad turirtum ilaih; wa inna kaseeral la yudilloona bi ahwaaa'ihim bighairi 'ilm; inna Rabbaka Huwa a'lamu bilmu'tadeen

وَذَرُوا۟ ظَـٰهِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَبَاطِنَهُۥۤۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَكۡسِبُونَ ٱلۡإِثۡمَ سَیُجۡزَوۡنَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَقۡتَرِفُونَ

تم ظاہری اورباطنی سب گناہ چھوڑ دو بے شک جو لوگ گناہ کرتے ہیں عنقریب اپنے کیے کی سزا پائیں گے

And leave what is apparent of sin and what is concealed thereof. Indeed, those who earn [blame for] sin will be recompensed for that which they used to commit.

Wa zaroo zaahiral ismi wa baatinah; innal lazeena yaksiboonal ismaa sa yujzawna bimaa kaanoo yaqtarifoon

وَلَا تَأۡكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا لَمۡ یُذۡكَرِ ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡهِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِسۡقࣱۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلشَّیَـٰطِینَ لَیُوحُونَ إِلَىٰۤ أَوۡلِیَاۤىِٕهِمۡ لِیُجَـٰدِلُوكُمۡۖ وَإِنۡ أَطَعۡتُمُوهُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ لَمُشۡرِكُونَ

اور جس چیز پر الله کا نام نہیں لیا گیا اس میں سے نہ کھاؤ اور بے شک یہ کھانا گناہ ہے اور بے شک شیطان اپنے دوستوں کے دلو ں میں ڈالتے ہیں تاکہ وہ تم سے جھگڑیں اور اگر تم نے ان کا کہا مانا تو تم بھی مشرک ہو جاؤ گے

And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].

Wa laa taakuloo mimaa lam yuzkaris mullaahi 'alaihi wa innahoo lafisq; wa innash Shayaateena la yoohoona ilaaa awliyaaa'ihim liyujaadilookum wa in ata'tumoohum innnakum lamushrikoon

أَوَمَن كَانَ مَیۡتࣰا فَأَحۡیَیۡنَـٰهُ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُۥ نُورࣰا یَمۡشِی بِهِۦ فِی ٱلنَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُۥ فِی ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ لَیۡسَ بِخَارِجࣲ مِّنۡهَاۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ زُیِّنَ لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ

بھلا وہ شخص جو مردہ تھا پھر ہم نے اسے زندہ کر دیا اور ہم نے اسے روشنی دی کہ اسے لوگوں میں لیے پھرتا ہےوہ اس کے برابر ہو سکتا ہے جو اندھیروں میں پڑا ہو وہاں سے نکل نہیں سکتا اسی طرح کافروں کی نظر میں ان کے کام آراستہ کر دیئے گئے ہیں

And is one who was dead and We gave him life and made for him light by which to walk among the people like one who is in darkness, never to emerge therefrom? Thus it has been made pleasing to the disbelievers that which they were doing.

Awa man kaana maitan fa ahyainaahu wa ja'alnaa lahoo noorany yamshee bihee fin naasi kamamm masaluhoo fiz zulumaati laisa bikhaarijim minhaa; kazaalika zuyyina lilkaafireena maa kaanoo ya'maloon

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ جَعَلۡنَا فِی كُلِّ قَرۡیَةٍ أَكَـٰبِرَ مُجۡرِمِیهَا لِیَمۡكُرُوا۟ فِیهَاۖ وَمَا یَمۡكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ وَمَا یَشۡعُرُونَ

اور اسی طرح ہر بستی میں ہم نے گناہگاروں کے سردار بنا دیےہیں تاکہ وہاں اپنے مکرو فریب کا جال پھیلائیں حالانکہ وہ اپنے فریب کے جال میں آپ پھنستے ہیں مگر وہ سمجھتے نہیں

And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein. But they conspire not except against themselves, and they perceive [it] not.

Wa kazaalika ja'alnaa fee kulli qaryatin akaabira mujrimeehaa liyamkuroo feehaa wa maa yamkuroona illaa bi anfusihim wa maa yash'uroon

وَإِذَا جَاۤءَتۡهُمۡ ءَایَةࣱ قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤۡتَىٰ مِثۡلَ مَاۤ أُوتِیَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ حَیۡثُ یَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥۗ سَیُصِیبُ ٱلَّذِینَ أَجۡرَمُوا۟ صَغَارٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعَذَابࣱ شَدِیدُۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَمۡكُرُونَ

جب ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی آتی ہے تو کہتے ہیں ہم نہیں مانیں گے جب تک کہ وہ چیز خود ہمیں نہ دی جائے جو الله کے رسولوں کو دی گئی ہے اور الله بہتر جانتا ہے کہ پیغمبری کا کام کس سے لے وہ وقت قریب ہے جب یہ مجرم اپنی مکاریو ں کی پاداش میں الله کے ہاں ذلت اور سخت عذاب میں مبتلا ہوں گے

And when a sign comes to them, they say, "Never will we believe until we are given like that which was given to the messengers of Allah." Allah is most knowing of where He places His message. There will afflict those who committed crimes debasement before Allah and severe punishment for what they used to conspire.

Wa izaa jaaa'athum Aayatun qaaloo lan nu'mina hatta nu'taa misla maaa ootiya Rusulul laah; Allahu a'almu haisu yaj'alu Risaalatah; sa yuseebul lazeena ajramoo saghaarun 'indal laahi wa 'azaabun shadeedum bimaa kaanoo yamkuroon

فَمَن یُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن یَهۡدِیَهُۥ یَشۡرَحۡ صَدۡرَهُۥ لِلۡإِسۡلَـٰمِۖ وَمَن یُرِدۡ أَن یُضِلَّهُۥ یَجۡعَلۡ صَدۡرَهُۥ ضَیِّقًا حَرَجࣰا كَأَنَّمَا یَصَّعَّدُ فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَجۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ

سو جسے الله چاہتا ہے کہ ہدایت دے تو اس کے سینہ کو اسلام کے قبول کرنے کے لیے کھول دیتا ہے اور جس کے متعلق چاہتا ہے کہ گمراہ کرے اس کے سینہ کو بے حد تنگ کر دیتا ہے گو کہ وہ آسمان پر چڑھتا ہے اسی طرح الله تعالیٰ ایمان نہ لانے والوں پر پھٹکار ڈالتا ہے

So whoever Allah wants to guide - He expands his breast to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide - He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus does Allah place defilement upon those who do not believe.

Famai yuridil laahu ai yahdiyahoo yashrah sadrahoo lil islaami wa mai yurid ai yudillaho yaj'al sadrahoo daiyiqan harajan ka annamaa yassa' 'adu fis samaaa'; kazaalika yaj'alul laahur rijsa 'alal lazeena la yu'minoon

وَهَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰ⁠طُ رَبِّكَ مُسۡتَقِیمࣰاۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ لِقَوۡمࣲ یَذَّكَّرُونَ

اور یہ تیرے رب کا سیدھا راستہ ہے ہم نے نصیحت حاصل کرنے والوں کے لیے آیتوں کو صاف صاف کر کے بیان کر دیا ہے

And this is the path of your Lord, [leading] straight. We have detailed the verses for a people who remember.

Wa haazaa siraatu Rabbika Mustaqeemaa; qad fassalnal Aayaati liqawminy yazzakkaroon

۞ لَهُمۡ دَارُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۖ وَهُوَ وَلِیُّهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ

ان کے لیے اپنے رب کے ہاں سلامتی کا گھر ہے اور وہ ان کے اعمال کے سبب سے ان کا مددگار ہے

For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord. And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.

Lahum daarus salaami 'inda Rabbihim wa huwa waliyyuhum bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon

وَیَوۡمَ یَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِیعࣰا یَـٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ قَدِ ٱسۡتَكۡثَرۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡإِنسِۖ وَقَالَ أَوۡلِیَاۤؤُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡإِنسِ رَبَّنَا ٱسۡتَمۡتَعَ بَعۡضُنَا بِبَعۡضࣲ وَبَلَغۡنَاۤ أَجَلَنَا ٱلَّذِیۤ أَجَّلۡتَ لَنَاۚ قَالَ ٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوَىٰكُمۡ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ إِلَّا مَا شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِیمٌ عَلِیمࣱ

اور جس دن ان سب کو جمع کرے گا جنوں کی جماعت سے فرمائے گا تم نے آدمیوں سے بہت سے اپنے تابع کر لئے تھے اور آدمیوں میں سے جو جنوں کے دوست تھے کہیں گے اے رب ہمارے ہم میں سے ہر ایک نے دوسرے سے کام نکالا اور ہم اپنی اس معیاد کو آ پہنچے جو تو نے ہمارے واسطے مقرر کی تھی فرمائے گا تم سب کا ٹھکانا آگ ہے اس میں ہمیشہ رہو گے اس سے صرف وہی بچیں گے جنہیں الله بچائے گا بے شک تیرا رب حکمت والا جاننے والا ہے

And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term, which you appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what Allah wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing."

Wa yamwa yahshuruhum jamee'ai yaa ma'sharal jinni qadistaksartum minal insi wa qaala awliyaaa'uhy minal insi Rabbanas tamta'a ba'dunaa biba'dinw wa balaghnaaa ajalannal lazeee ajjalta lanaa; qaalan Naaru maswaakum khaalideena feehaaa illaa maa shaaa'allaah; inna Rabbaka Hakeemun 'Aleem

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نُوَلِّی بَعۡضَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ بَعۡضَۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَكۡسِبُونَ

اور اسی طرح ہم گنہگاروں کو ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ ان کے اعمال کے سبب سے ملا دیں گے

And thus will We make some of the wrongdoers allies of others for what they used to earn.

Wa kazaalika nuwallee ba'daz zaalimeena ba'dam bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon

یَـٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ أَلَمۡ یَأۡتِكُمۡ رُسُلࣱ مِّنكُمۡ یَقُصُّونَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ ءَایَـٰتِی وَیُنذِرُونَكُمۡ لِقَاۤءَ یَوۡمِكُمۡ هَـٰذَاۚ قَالُوا۟ شَهِدۡنَا عَلَىٰۤ أَنفُسِنَاۖ وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَشَهِدُوا۟ عَلَىٰۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ كَـٰفِرِینَ

اے جنو اور انسانو! کی جماعت کیا تمہارے پاس تم ہی میں سے رسول نہیں آئے تھے جو تمہیں میرے احکام سناتے تھے وہ اس دن کی ملاقات سے تمہیں ڈراتے تھے کہیں گے ہم اپنے گناہ کا راقرار کرتے ہیں اور انہیں دنیا کی زندگی نے دھوکہ دیا ہے او راپنے اوپر ہی گواہی دیں گے کہ وہ کافر تھے

"O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

Yaa ma'sharal jinni wal insi alam yaatikum Rusulum minkum yaqussoona 'alaikum Aayaatee wa yunziroonakum liqaaa'a Yawmikum haazaa; qaaloo shahidnaa 'alaaa anfusinaa wa gharrat humul hayaatud dunyaa wa shahidooo 'alaa anfusihim annahum kaanoo kaafireen

ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ أَن لَّمۡ یَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ بِظُلۡمࣲ وَأَهۡلُهَا غَـٰفِلُونَ

یہ اس لیے ہوا کہ تیار رب بستیوں کو ظلم کرنے کے باوجود ہلاک نہیں کیاکرتا اس حال میں کہ وہ بے خبر ہوں

That is because your Lord would not destroy the cities for wrongdoing while their people were unaware.

Zaalika al lam yakkur Rabbuka muhlikal quraa bizulminw wa ahluhaa ghaafiloon

وَلِكُلࣲّ دَرَجَـٰتࣱ مِّمَّا عَمِلُوا۟ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا یَعۡمَلُونَ

اور ہر ایک کے لیے ان کے عمل کے لحاظ سے درجے ہیں اور تیرا رب ان کے کاموں سے بے خبر نہیں

And for all are degrees from what they have done. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do.

Wa likullin darajaatum mimmaa 'amiloo; wa maa Rabbuka bighaafilin 'ammaa ya'maloon

وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡغَنِیُّ ذُو ٱلرَّحۡمَةِۚ إِن یَشَأۡ یُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَیَسۡتَخۡلِفۡ مِنۢ بَعۡدِكُم مَّا یَشَاۤءُ كَمَاۤ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن ذُرِّیَّةِ قَوۡمٍ ءَاخَرِینَ

اور تیرا رب بے پرواہ رحمت والا ہے اگر وہ چاہے تم سب کو اٹھالے اور تمہارے بعد جسے چاہے تمہاری جگہ آباد کردے جس طرح تمہیں ایک دوسری قوم کی نسل سے پیدا کیا ہے

And your Lord is the Free of need, the possessor of mercy. If He wills, he can do away with you and give succession after you to whomever He wills, just as He produced you from the descendants of another people.

Wa Rabbukal ghaniyyu zur rahmah; iny yashaaa yuz hibkum wa yastakhlif mim ba'dikum wa yastakhlif mim ba'dikum maa yashaaa'u kamaaa ansha akum min zurriyyati qawmin aakhareen

إِنَّ مَا تُوعَدُونَ لَـَٔاتࣲۖ وَمَاۤ أَنتُم بِمُعۡجِزِینَ

جس چیز کا تمہیں وعدہ دیا جاتا ہے وہ ضرور آنے والی ہے اور تم عاجز نہیں کر سکتے

Indeed, what you are promised is coming, and you will not cause failure [to Allah].

Inna maa too'adoona la aatinw wa maaa antum bimu'jizeen

قُلۡ یَـٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنِّی عَامِلࣱۖ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا یُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

کہہ دو اے لوگو تم اپنی جگہ پر کام کرتے رہو اور میں بھی کرتا ہوں عنقریب معلوم کر لو گے آخرت کا گھر کس کے لیے ہوتا ہے بے شک ظالم نجات نہیں پاتے

Say, "O my people, work according to your position; [for] indeed, I am working. And you are going to know who will have succession in the home. Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.

Qul yaa qawmi' maloo 'alaa makaanatikum innee 'aamilun fasawfa ta'lamoona man takoonu lahoo 'aaqibatud daar; innahoo laa yuflihuz zaalimoon

وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَرۡثِ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ نَصِیبࣰا فَقَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعۡمِهِمۡ وَهَـٰذَا لِشُرَكَاۤىِٕنَاۖ فَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَاۤىِٕهِمۡ فَلَا یَصِلُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ یَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَاۤىِٕهِمۡۗ سَاۤءَ مَا یَحۡكُمُونَ

اور الله کی پیدا کی ہوئی کھیتی اور مویشیوں میں سے ایک حصہ اس کے لیے مقرر کرتے ہیں اور اپنے خیال کے مطابق کہتے ہیں کہ یہ الله کا حصہ ہے اور یہ ہمارے شریکوں کا ہے سو جو حصہ ان کے شریکوں کا ہے وہ الله کی طرف نہیں جا سکتا اور جو الله کا ہے وہ ان کے شریکوں کی طرف جا سکتا ہے کیسا برا فیصلہ کرتے ہیں

And the polytheists assign to Allah from that which He created of crops and livestock a share and say, "This is for Allah," by their claim, "and this is for our partners [associated with Him]." But what is for their "partners" does not reach Allah, while what is for Allah - this reaches their "partners." Evil is that which they rule.

Wa ja'aloo lillaahi mimmaa zara-a minal harsi walan'aami naseeban faqaaloo haazaa lillaahi biza'mihim wa haaza lishurakaa'inaa famaa kaana lishurakaaa'ihim falaa yasilu ilal laahi wa maa kaana lillaahi fahuwa yasilu ilaa shurakaaa'ihim; saaa'a maa yahkumoon

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ زَیَّنَ لِكَثِیرࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ قَتۡلَ أَوۡلَـٰدِهِمۡ شُرَكَاۤؤُهُمۡ لِیُرۡدُوهُمۡ وَلِیَلۡبِسُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِمۡ دِینَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُۖ فَذَرۡهُمۡ وَمَا یَفۡتَرُونَ

اور اسی طرح بہت سے مشرکوں کے خیال میں ان کے شریکوں نے اپنی اولاد کے قتل کرنے کو خوشنما بنا دیا ہے تاکہ انہیں ہلاکت میں مبتلا کر دیں اور ان پر ان کے دین کو مشتبہ بنا دیں اگر الله تعالیٰ چاہتا تو ایسا نہ کرتے سو انہیں چھوڑ دو اور جو وہ افتراء کر تے ہیں

And likewise, to many of the polytheists their partners have made [to seem] pleasing the killing of their children in order to bring about their destruction and to cover them with confusion in their religion. And if Allah had willed, they would not have done so. So leave them and that which they invent.

Wa kazaalika zaiyana likaseerim minal mushrikeena qatla awlaadihim shurakaaa'uhum liyurdoohum wa liyalbisoo 'alaihim deenahum wa law shaaa'al laahu maa fa'aloohu fazarhum wa maa yaftaroon

وَقَالُوا۟ هَـٰذِهِۦۤ أَنۡعَـٰمࣱ وَحَرۡثٌ حِجۡرࣱ لَّا یَطۡعَمُهَاۤ إِلَّا مَن نَّشَاۤءُ بِزَعۡمِهِمۡ وَأَنۡعَـٰمٌ حُرِّمَتۡ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنۡعَـٰمࣱ لَّا یَذۡكُرُونَ ٱسۡمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡهَا ٱفۡتِرَاۤءً عَلَیۡهِۚ سَیَجۡزِیهِم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَفۡتَرُونَ

اور کہتے ہیں یہ جانور اور کھیت محفوظ ہیں انہیں صرف وہی لوگ کھا سکتے ہیں جنہیں ہم چاہیں اورکچھ جانور ہیں جن پر سواری حرام کر دی گئی ہے اور کچھ جانور ہیں جن پر الله کا نام نہیں لیتے یہ سب الله پر افتراء ہے عنقریب الله انہیں اس افترا کی سزا دے گا

And they say, "These animals and crops are forbidden; no one may eat from them except whom we will," by their claim. And there are those [camels] whose backs are forbidden [by them] and those upon which the name of Allah is not mentioned - [all of this] an invention of untruth about Him. He will punish them for what they were inventing.

Wa qaaloo haaziheee an'aamunw wa harsun hijrun laa yat'amuhaaa illaa man nashaaa'u biza'mihim wa an'aamun hurrimat zuhooruhaa wa an'aamul laa yazkuroonas mal laahi 'alaihaf tiraaa'an 'alaih; sa yajzeehim bimaa kaanoo yaftaroon

وَقَالُوا۟ مَا فِی بُطُونِ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ خَالِصَةࣱ لِّذُكُورِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلَىٰۤ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جِنَاۖ وَإِن یَكُن مَّیۡتَةࣰ فَهُمۡ فِیهِ شُرَكَاۤءُۚ سَیَجۡزِیهِمۡ وَصۡفَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِیمٌ عَلِیمࣱ

اور کہتے ہیں جو کچھ ان جانوروں کے پیٹ میں ہے یہ ہمارے مردوں کے لیے خاص ہے اور ہماری عورتو ں پر حرام ہے اور جو بچہ مردہ ہو تو دونوں اس کے کھانے میں برابر ہیں الله انہیں ان باتو ں کی سزا دے گا بے شک وہ حکمت والا جاننے والا ہے

And they say, "What is in the bellies of these animals is exclusively for our males and forbidden to our females. But if it is [born] dead, then all of them have shares therein." He will punish them for their description. Indeed, He is Wise and Knowing.

Wa qaaloo maa fee butooni haazihil an'aami khaalisatul lizukoorinaa wa muharramun 'alaaa azwaajinaa wa iny yakum maitatan fahum feehi shurakaaa'; sa yajzeehim wasfahum; innahoo Hakeemun 'Aleem

قَدۡ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِینَ قَتَلُوۤا۟ أَوۡلَـٰدَهُمۡ سَفَهَۢا بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲ وَحَرَّمُوا۟ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱفۡتِرَاۤءً عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ قَدۡ ضَلُّوا۟ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهۡتَدِینَ

تحقیق خسارے میں پڑے وہ لوگ جنہوں نے اپنی اولاد کو جہالت اور نادانی کی بنا پر قتل کیا اور الله پر بہتان باندھ کر اس رزق کو حرام کر لیا جو الله نے انہیں دیا تھا بے شک وہ گمراہ ہوئے اور سیدھی راہ پر نہ آئے

Those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what Allah had provided for them, inventing untruth about Allah. They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided.

Qad khasiral lazeena qatalooo awlaadahum safaham bighairi 'ilminw wa harramoo maa razaqahumul laahuf tiraaa'an 'alal laah; qad dalloo wa maa kaanoo muhtadeen

۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنشَأَ جَنَّـٰتࣲ مَّعۡرُوشَـٰتࣲ وَغَیۡرَ مَعۡرُوشَـٰتࣲ وَٱلنَّخۡلَ وَٱلزَّرۡعَ مُخۡتَلِفًا أُكُلُهُۥ وَٱلزَّیۡتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُتَشَـٰبِهࣰا وَغَیۡرَ مُتَشَـٰبِهࣲۚ كُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦۤ إِذَاۤ أَثۡمَرَ وَءَاتُوا۟ حَقَّهُۥ یَوۡمَ حَصَادِهِۦۖ وَلَا تُسۡرِفُوۤا۟ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِینَ

اور اسی نے وہ باغ پیدا کیے جو چھتو ں پر چڑھائے جاتے ہیں او رجو نہیں چڑھائے جاتے اور کھجور کے درخت او رکھیتی جن کے پھل مختلف ہیں اور زیتون اور انار پیدا کیے جو ایک دوسرے سے مشابہاور جدا جدا بھی ہیں ان کے پھل کھاؤ جب وہ پھل لائیں اور جس دن اسے کاٹو اس کا حق ادا کرو اور بے جا خرچ نہ کرو بے شک وہ بے جا خرچ کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا

And He it is who causes gardens to grow, [both] trellised and untrellised, and palm trees and crops of different [kinds of] food and olives and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar. Eat of [each of] its fruit when it yields and give its due [zakah] on the day of its harvest. And be not excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess.

Wa Huwal lazee ansha-a jannaatim ma'rooshaatinw wa ghaira ma'rooshaatinw wan nakhla wazzar'a mukhtalifan ukuluhoo wazzaitoona warrum maana mutashaabihanw wa ghaira mutashaabih; kuloo min samariheee izaaa asmara wa aatoo haqqahoo yawma hasaadihee wa laa tusrifoo; innahoo laa yuhibbul musrifeen

وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ حَمُولَةࣰ وَفَرۡشࣰاۚ كُلُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَ ٰ⁠تِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣱّ مُّبِینࣱ

اور بوجھ اٹھانے والے مویشی پیدا کیے اور زمین سے لگے ہوئے اور الله کے رزق میں سے کھاؤ اور شیطان کے قدموں پر نہ چلو وہ تمہارا صریح دشمن ہے

And of the grazing livestock are carriers [of burdens] and those [too] small. Eat of what Allah has provided for you and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

Wa minal an'aami hamoolatanw wa farshaa; kuloo mimmaa razaqakumul laahu wa laa tattabi'oo khutuwaatish Shaitaan; innahoo lakum 'aduwwum mubeen

ثَمَـٰنِیَةَ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جࣲۖ مِّنَ ٱلضَّأۡنِ ٱثۡنَیۡنِ وَمِنَ ٱلۡمَعۡزِ ٱثۡنَیۡنِۗ قُلۡ ءَاۤلذَّكَرَیۡنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلۡأُنثَیَیۡنِ أَمَّا ٱشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَیۡهِ أَرۡحَامُ ٱلۡأُنثَیَیۡنِۖ نَبِّـُٔونِی بِعِلۡمٍ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ

آٹھ قسمیں پیدا کیں بھیڑ میں سے دو اور بکری میں سے دو تو پوچھ کہ دونوں نر الله نے حرام کیے ہیں یا دونوں مادہ یا وہ بچہ جو دونوں مادہ کے رحم میں ہے مجھے اس کی سند بتلاؤ اگر سچے ہو

[They are] eight mates - of the sheep, two and of the goats, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Inform me with knowledge, if you should be truthful."

Samaaniyata azwaaj minad daanis naini wa minal ma'zis nain; qul 'aazzaka raini harrama amil unsaiyayni ammash tamalat 'alaihi arhaamul unsayaini nabbi 'oonee bi'ilmin in kuntum saadiqeen

وَمِنَ ٱلۡإِبِلِ ٱثۡنَیۡنِ وَمِنَ ٱلۡبَقَرِ ٱثۡنَیۡنِۗ قُلۡ ءَاۤلذَّكَرَیۡنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلۡأُنثَیَیۡنِ أَمَّا ٱشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَیۡهِ أَرۡحَامُ ٱلۡأُنثَیَیۡنِۖ أَمۡ كُنتُمۡ شُهَدَاۤءَ إِذۡ وَصَّىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهَـٰذَاۚ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبࣰا لِّیُضِلَّ ٱلنَّاسَ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَهۡدِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ

اور اونٹ اور گائے سے دو دو قسمیں پیدا کیں تو پوچھ دونوں نر حرا م کیے ہیں یا دونوں مادہ یا وہ بچہ جو دونوں مادہ کے رحم میں ہے کیا تم موجود تھے جس وقت الله نے تمہیں حکم دیا تھا پھر اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون ہے جو الله پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھے تاکہ لوگو ں کو بلا تحقیق گمراہ کرے بے شک الله ظالموں کو ہدایت نہیں کرتا

And of the camels, two and of the cattle, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Or were you witnesses when Allah charged you with this? Then who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah to mislead the people by [something] other than knowledge? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."

Wa minal ibilis naini wa minal baqaris nain; qul 'aaazzakaraini harrama amil unsayaini ammash tamalat 'alaihi arhaamul unsayaini am kuntum shuhadaaa'a iz wassaakumul laahu bihaazaa; faman azlamu mimmanif taraa 'alal laahi kazibal liyuddillan naasa bighari 'ilm; innal laaha laa yahdil qawmaz zaalimeen

قُل لَّاۤ أَجِدُ فِی مَاۤ أُوحِیَ إِلَیَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَىٰ طَاعِمࣲ یَطۡعَمُهُۥۤ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَكُونَ مَیۡتَةً أَوۡ دَمࣰا مَّسۡفُوحًا أَوۡ لَحۡمَ خِنزِیرࣲ فَإِنَّهُۥ رِجۡسٌ أَوۡ فِسۡقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَیۡرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦۚ فَمَنِ ٱضۡطُرَّ غَیۡرَ بَاغࣲ وَلَا عَادࣲ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ

کہہ دو کہ میں اس وحی میں جو مجھے پہنچی ہے کسی چیز کو کھانے والے پر حرام نہیں پاتا جو اسے کھائے مگر یہ کہ وہ مردار ہو یا بہتا ہوا خون یا سور کا گوشت کہ وہ ناپاک ہے یا وہ ناجائز ذبیحہ جس پر الله کے سوا کسی اور کا نام پکارا جائے پھر جو تمہیں بھوک سے بے اختیار ہوجائے ایسی حال میں کہ نہ بغاوت کرنے والا اور نہ حد سے گزرنے والا ہو تیرا رب بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impure - or it be [that slaughtered in] disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

Qul laaa ajidu fee maaa oohiya ilaiya muharraman 'alaa taa'iminy yat'amuhooo illaaa ai yakoona maitatan aw damam masfoohan aw lahma khinzeerin fa innahoo rijsun aw fisqan uhilla lighairil laahi bih; famanid turra ghaira baa ghinw wa laa 'aadin fa inna Rabbaka Ghafoorur Raheem

وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ هَادُوا۟ حَرَّمۡنَا كُلَّ ذِی ظُفُرࣲۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡبَقَرِ وَٱلۡغَنَمِ حَرَّمۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ شُحُومَهُمَاۤ إِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتۡ ظُهُورُهُمَاۤ أَوِ ٱلۡحَوَایَاۤ أَوۡ مَا ٱخۡتَلَطَ بِعَظۡمࣲۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ جَزَیۡنَـٰهُم بِبَغۡیِهِمۡۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ

یہود پرہم نے ایک ناخن والا جانور حرام کیا تھا اور گائے اوربکری میں سے ان دونوں کی چربی حرا م کی تھی مگر جو پشت پر یا انتڑیوں پر لگی ہوئی ہو یا جو ہڈی سے ملی ہوئی ہو ہم نے ان کی شرارت کے باعث انہیں یہ سزا دی تھی اور بے شک ہم سچے ہیں

And to those who are Jews We prohibited every animal of uncloven hoof; and of the cattle and the sheep We prohibited to them their fat, except what adheres to their backs or the entrails or what is joined with bone. [By] that We repaid them for their injustice. And indeed, We are truthful.

Wa 'alal lazeena haadoo harramnaa kulla zee zufurinw wa minal baqari walghanami harramnaa 'alihim shuh oomahumaaa illaa maa hamalat zuhooruhumaaa awil hawaayaaa aw makhtalata bi'azm zaalika jazainaahum bibaghyihim wa innaa lasaa diqoon

فَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل رَّبُّكُمۡ ذُو رَحۡمَةࣲ وَ ٰ⁠سِعَةࣲ وَلَا یُرَدُّ بَأۡسُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ

پھر اگر تجھے جھٹلائیں تو کہہ دو تمہارا رب بہت وسیع رحمت والا ہے اورگناہگار لوگوں سے اس کا عذاب نہیں ٹلے گا

So if they deny you, [O Muhammad], say, "Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals."

Fa in kazzabooka faqur Rabbukum zoo rahmatinw waasi'atinw waasi'atinw wa laa yuraddu baasuhoo 'anil qawmil mujrimeen

سَیَقُولُ ٱلَّذِینَ أَشۡرَكُوا۟ لَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ مَاۤ أَشۡرَكۡنَا وَلَاۤ ءَابَاۤؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِن شَیۡءࣲۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ ذَاقُوا۟ بَأۡسَنَاۗ قُلۡ هَلۡ عِندَكُم مِّنۡ عِلۡمࣲ فَتُخۡرِجُوهُ لَنَاۤۖ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا تَخۡرُصُونَ

اب مشرک کہیں گے اگر الله چاہتا تو نہ ہم اور نہ ہمارے باپ دادا شرک کرتے اور نہ ہم کسی چیز کو حرام کرتے اورنہ ہم کسی چیز کو حرام کرتے اسی طرح ان لوگوں نے جھٹلایا جو ان سے پہلے تھے یہاں تک کہ انہو ں نے ہمارا عذاب چکھا کہہ دو تمہارے ہاں کوئی ثبوت ہے تو اسے ہمارے سامنے لاؤ تم فقط خیالی باتوں پر چلتے ہو اور صرف تخمینہ ہی کرتے ہو

Those who associated with Allah will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have associated [anything] and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything." Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. Say, "Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? You follow not except assumption, and you are not but falsifying."

Sayaqoolul lazeena ashrakoo law shaaa'al laahu maaa ashraknaa wa laaa aabaa'unaa wa laa harramnaa min shai'; kazaalika kazzabal lazeena min qablihim hattaa zaaqoo baasanaa; qul hal 'indakum min 'ilmin fatukh rijoohu lanaa in tattabi'oona illaz zanna wa in antum illaa takhhrusoon

قُلۡ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡحُجَّةُ ٱلۡبَـٰلِغَةُۖ فَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِینَ

کہہ دو پس الله کا الزام پورا ہو چکا پس اگر وہ چاہتا تو تم سب کو ہدایت کردیتا

Say, "With Allah is the far-reaching argument. If He had willed, He would have guided you all."

Qul falillaahil hujjatul baalighatu falaw shaaa'a lahadaakum ajma'een

قُلۡ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَاۤءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ یَشۡهَدُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَـٰذَاۖ فَإِن شَهِدُوا۟ فَلَا تَشۡهَدۡ مَعَهُمۡۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَاۤءَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا وَٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ یَعۡدِلُونَ

ان سے کہہ دو اپنے گواہ لاؤ جو اس بات کی گواہی دیں کہ الله نے ان چیزوں کو حرام کیا ہے پھر اگر وہ ایسی گواہی دیں توتو ان کا اعتبار نہ کر اور جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا ہے اور جو آخرت پریقین نہیں رکھتے اور وہ اوروں کو اپنے رب کے برابر کرتے ہیں

Say, [O Muhammad], "Bring forward your witnesses who will testify that Allah has prohibited this." And if they testify, do not testify with them. And do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses and those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while they equate [others] with their Lord.

Qul halumma shuhadaaa'akumul lazeena yash hadoona annal laaha harrama haazaa fa in shahidoo falaa tashhad ma'ahum; wa laa tattabi' ahwaaa'al lazeena kazzaboo bi Aayaatinaa wallazeena laa yu'minoona bil Aakhirati wa hum bi Rabbihim ya'diloon

۞ قُلۡ تَعَالَوۡا۟ أَتۡلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلَیۡكُمۡۖ أَلَّا تُشۡرِكُوا۟ بِهِۦ شَیۡـࣰٔاۖ وَبِٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠لِدَیۡنِ إِحۡسَـٰنࣰاۖ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوۤا۟ أَوۡلَـٰدَكُم مِّنۡ إِمۡلَـٰقࣲ نَّحۡنُ نَرۡزُقُكُمۡ وَإِیَّاهُمۡۖ وَلَا تَقۡرَبُوا۟ ٱلۡفَوَ ٰ⁠حِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنۡهَا وَمَا بَطَنَۖ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوا۟ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِی حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ

کہہ دو آؤ میں تمہیں سنا دوں جو تمہارے رب نے تم پر حرام کیا ہے یہ کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ بناؤ اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ نیکی کرو اور تنگدستی کے سبب اپنی اولاد کو قتل نہ کرو ہم تمہیں اور انہیں رزق دیں گے اور بے حیائی کے ظاہر اور پوشیدہ کاموں کے قریب نہ جاؤ اور نا حق کسی جان کو قتل نہ کرو جس کا قتل الله نے حرام کیا ہے تمہیں یہ حکم دیتا ہے تاکہ تم سمجھ جاؤ

Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."

Qul ta'aalaw atlu maa harrama Rabbukum 'alaikum allaa tushrikoo bihee shai'anw wa bilwaalidaini ihsaananw wa laa taqtulooo aw alaadakum min imlaaq; nahnu narzuqukum wa iyyaahum wa laa taqrabul fawaahisha maa zahara minhaa wa maa batana wa laa taqtulun nafsal latee harramal laahu illaa bilhaqq; zaalikum wassaakum bihee la'allakum ta'qiloon

وَلَا تَقۡرَبُوا۟ مَالَ ٱلۡیَتِیمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِی هِیَ أَحۡسَنُ حَتَّىٰ یَبۡلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۚ وَأَوۡفُوا۟ ٱلۡكَیۡلَ وَٱلۡمِیزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۖ وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُوا۟ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۖ وَبِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡفُوا۟ۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

اور سوائے کسی بہتر طریقہ کے یتیم کے مال کے پاس نہ جاؤ یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنی جوانی کو پہنچے اور ناپ اور تول کو انصاف سے پورا کرو ہم کسی کو اس کی طاقت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے اور جب بات کہو انصاف سے کہو اگرچہ رشتہ داری ہو اور الله کا عہد پورا کرو تمہیں یہ حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو

And do not approach the orphan's property except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity. And when you testify, be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember.

Wa laa taqraboo maalal yateemi illaa billatee hiyaa ahsanu hattaa yablugha ashuddahoo wa awful kaila walmeezaana bilqisti laa nukallifu nafsan illaa wus'ahaa wa izaa qultum fa'diloo wa law kaana zaa qurbaa wa bi 'ahdil laahi awfoo; zaalikum wassaakum bihee la'allakum tazakkarron

وَأَنَّ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰ⁠طِی مُسۡتَقِیمࣰا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَن سَبِیلِهِۦۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

اور بے شک یہی میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے سو اسی کا اتباع کرواور دوسرے راستوں پر مت چلو وہ تمہیں الله کی راہ سے ہٹا دیں گے تمہیں اسی کا حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم پرہیزگار ہو جاؤ

And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous.

Wa annna haazaa Siraatee mustaqeeman fattabi'oohu wa laa tattabi'us subula fatafarraqa bikum 'an sabeelih; zaalikum wassaakum bihee la'allakum tattaqoon

ثُمَّ ءَاتَیۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَى ٱلَّذِیۤ أَحۡسَنَ وَتَفۡصِیلࣰا لِّكُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَهُدࣰى وَرَحۡمَةࣰ لَّعَلَّهُم بِلِقَاۤءِ رَبِّهِمۡ یُؤۡمِنُونَ

پھر ہم نےنیکوں پر نعمت پوری کرنے کے لیے موسیٰ کو کتاب دی جس میں ہر چیز کی تفصیل اور ہدایت اور رحمت تھی تاکہ وہ لوگ اپنے رب کی ملاقات پر ایمان لائیں

Then We gave Moses the Scripture, making complete [Our favor] upon the one who did good and as a detailed explanation of all things and as guidance and mercy that perhaps in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord they would believe.

Summa aatainaa Moosal Kitaaba tammaaman 'alal lazeee ahsana wa tafseelal likulli shai'inw wa hudanw wa rahmatal la'allahum biliqaaa'i Rabbihim yu'minoon

وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ مُبَارَكࣱ فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

یہ برکت والی کتاب ہم نے اتاری ہے سو اس کا اتباع کرو اور ڈرو تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے

And this [Qur'an] is a Book We have revealed [which is] blessed, so follow it and fear Allah that you may receive mercy.

Wa haazaa Kitaabun anzalnaahu Mubaarakun fattabi'oohu wattaqoo la'al lakum urhamoon

أَن تَقُولُوۤا۟ إِنَّمَاۤ أُنزِلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبُ عَلَىٰ طَاۤىِٕفَتَیۡنِ مِن قَبۡلِنَا وَإِن كُنَّا عَن دِرَاسَتِهِمۡ لَغَـٰفِلِینَ

تاکہ تم یہ نہ کہو کہ ہم سے پہلے دو فرقوں پر کتاب نازل ہوئی تھی اورہم تو ان کے پڑھنے پڑھانے سے بے خبر تھے

[We revealed it] lest you say, "The Scripture was only sent down to two groups before us, but we were of their study unaware,"

An taqooloo innammaaa unzilal Kitaabu 'alaa taaa'ifataini min qablinaa wa in kunnaa 'an diraasatihim laghaafileen

أَوۡ تَقُولُوا۟ لَوۡ أَنَّاۤ أُنزِلَ عَلَیۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَـٰبُ لَكُنَّاۤ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡهُمۡۚ فَقَدۡ جَاۤءَكُم بَیِّنَةࣱ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَهُدࣰى وَرَحۡمَةࣱۚ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنۡهَاۗ سَنَجۡزِی ٱلَّذِینَ یَصۡدِفُونَ عَنۡ ءَایَـٰتِنَا سُوۤءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَصۡدِفُونَ

یا یہ کہو کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب نازل کی جاتی تو ہم ان سے بہتر راہ پر چلتے سو تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی ھرف سے ایک واضح کتاب اور ہدایت اور رحمت آ چکی ہے اب اس سے زیادہ کون ظالم ہے جو الله کی آیتوں کوجھٹلائے اور ان سے منہ موڑے جو لوگ ہماری آیتوں سے منہ موڑتے ہیں ہم انہیں ان کے منہ موڑنے کے باعث برے عذاب کی سزا دیں گے

Or lest you say, "If only the Scripture had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they." So there has [now] come to you a clear evidence from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. Then who is more unjust than one who denies the verses of Allah and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses with the worst of punishment for their having turned away.

Aw taqooloo law annaaa unzila 'alainal kitaabu lakunnaaa ahdaa minhum; faqad jaaa'akum baiyinatum mir Rabbikum wa hudanw wa rahmah; faman azlamu mimman kazzaba bi Aayaatil laahi wa sadaf 'anhaa; sanajzil lazeena yasdifoona 'an Aayaatinaa sooo'al 'azaabi bimaa kaanoo yasdifoon

هَلۡ یَنظُرُونَ إِلَّاۤ أَن تَأۡتِیَهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ أَوۡ یَأۡتِیَ رَبُّكَ أَوۡ یَأۡتِیَ بَعۡضُ ءَایَـٰتِ رَبِّكَۗ یَوۡمَ یَأۡتِی بَعۡضُ ءَایَـٰتِ رَبِّكَ لَا یَنفَعُ نَفۡسًا إِیمَـٰنُهَا لَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَامَنَتۡ مِن قَبۡلُ أَوۡ كَسَبَتۡ فِیۤ إِیمَـٰنِهَا خَیۡرࣰاۗ قُلِ ٱنتَظِرُوۤا۟ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ

یہ لوگ اس کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان کے پا س فرشتے آویں یا تیرا رب آئے یا تیرے رب کی کوئی نشانی آئے گی تو کسی ایسے شخص کا ایمان کام نہ آئے گا جو پہلے ایمان نہ لایا ہو یا اس نے ایمان لانے کے بعد کوئی نیک کام نہ کیا ہو کہہ دو انتظار کرو ہم بھی انتظار کرنے والے ہیں

Do they [then] wait for anything except that the angels should come to them or your Lord should come or that there come some of the signs of your Lord? The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good. Say, "Wait. Indeed, we [also] are waiting."

hal yanzuroona illaaa an taatiyahumul malaaa'ikatu aw yaatiya Rabbuka aw yaatiya ba'du Aayaati Rabbik; yawma yaatee ba'du Aayaati Rabbika laa yanfa'u nafsan eemaanuhaa lam takun aamanat min qablu aw kasabat feee eemaanihaa khairaa; qulin tazirooo innaa muntaziroon

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِینَهُمۡ وَكَانُوا۟ شِیَعࣰا لَّسۡتَ مِنۡهُمۡ فِی شَیۡءٍۚ إِنَّمَاۤ أَمۡرُهُمۡ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ یُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَفۡعَلُونَ

جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور کئی جماعتیں بن گئے تیرا ان سے کوئی تعلق نہیں اس کا کام الله ہی کے حوالے ہے پھر وہی انہیں بتلائے گا جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے

Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah; then He will inform them about what they used to do.

Innal lazeena farraqoo deenahum wa kaanoo shiya'allasta minhum fee shai'; innamaaa amruhum ilallaahi summma yunabbi'uhum bimaa kaanoo yaf'aloon

مَن جَاۤءَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ عَشۡرُ أَمۡثَالِهَاۖ وَمَن جَاۤءَ بِٱلسَّیِّئَةِ فَلَا یُجۡزَىٰۤ إِلَّا مِثۡلَهَا وَهُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُونَ

جو کوئی ایک نیکی کرے گا اس کے لیے دس گنا اجر ہے اور جو بدی کرے گا سو اسے اسی کے برابر سزا دی جائے گی اور ان پر ظلم نہ کیا جائے گا

Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof [to his credit], and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged.

man jaaa'a bilhasanati falahoo 'ashru amsaalihaa wa man jaaa'a bissaiyi'ati falaa yujzaaa illaa mislahaa wa hum laa yuzlamoon

قُلۡ إِنَّنِی هَدَىٰنِی رَبِّیۤ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰ⁠طࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ دِینࣰا قِیَمࣰا مِّلَّةَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ حَنِیفࣰاۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ

کہہ دو میرے رب نے مجھےایک سیدھا راستہ بتلا دیا ہے ایک صحیح دین ابراھیم کی ملت جو ایک ہی طرف کاتھا اور مشرکوں میں سے نہیں تھا

Say, "Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path - a correct religion - the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated others with Allah."

Qul innanee hadaanee Rabbeee ilaa Siraatim Mustaqeemin deenan qiyamam Millata Ibraaheema haneefaa; wa maa kaana minal mushrikeen

قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِی وَنُسُكِی وَمَحۡیَایَ وَمَمَاتِی لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ

کہہ دو بے شک میری نماز اور میری قربانی اور میرا جینا اور میرا مرنا الله ہی کے لیے ہے جو سارے جہان کا پالنے والا ہے

Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.

Qul inna Salaatee wa nusukee wa mahyaaya wa mamaatee lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen

لَا شَرِیكَ لَهُۥۖ وَبِذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ أُمِرۡتُ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ

اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور مجھے اسی کا حکم دیا گیا تھا اور میں سب سے پہلے فرمانبردار ہوں

No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims."

Laa shareeka lahoo wa bizaalika umirtu wa ana awwalul muslimeen

قُلۡ أَغَیۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡغِی رَبࣰّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲۚ وَلَا تَكۡسِبُ كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ إِلَّا عَلَیۡهَاۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَیُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ فِیهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ

کہہ دو کیا اب میں الله کے سوا اور کوئی رب تلاش کروں حالانکہ وہی ہر چیز کا رب ہے اور جو شخص کوئی گناہ کرے گاتو وہ اسی کے ذمہ ہے اور ایک شخص دوسرے کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا پھر تمہارے رب کے ہاں ہی سب کو لوٹ کر جانا ہے سو جن باتو ں میں تم جھگڑتے تھے وہ تمہیں بتلاد ے گا

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."

Qul aghairal laahi abhee Rabbanw wa Huwa Rabbu kulli shai'; wa laa taksibu kullu nafsin illaa 'alaihaa; wa laa taziru waaziratunw wizra ukhraa; summa ilaa Rabbikum marji'ukum fa yunabbi'ukum bimaa kuntum feehi takhtalifoon

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَكُمۡ خَلَـٰۤىِٕفَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعۡضَكُمۡ فَوۡقَ بَعۡضࣲ دَرَجَـٰتࣲ لِّیَبۡلُوَكُمۡ فِی مَاۤ ءَاتَىٰكُمۡۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِیعُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَغَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمُۢ

اس نے تمہیں زمین میں نائب بنا یا ہے اور بعض کے بعض پر درجے بلند کر دیے ہیں تاکہ تمہیں اپنے دیے ہوئے حکموں میں آزمائے بے شک تیرا رب جلدی عذاب دینے والا ہے اور بے شک وہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And it is He who has made you successors upon the earth and has raised some of you above others in degrees [of rank] that He may try you through what He has given you. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful.

Wa Huwal lazee ja'alakum khalaaa'ifal ardi wa rafa'a ba'dakum fawqa ba'din darajaatil liyabluwakum fee maaa aataakum; inna Rabbaka saree'ul 'iqaab; wa innahoo la Ghafoorur Raheem
